Why SHIMO May Be the First Ever Titan - TITAN TIMELINE EXPLAINED

what do we know about the very first Titans the reign of the Titans has spanned for millions of years and these ancient beasts are still some of the most powerful forces on all of Earth they cannot be stopped by the might of governments or the will of man but only by the strongest among them but how much do we really know about the dawn of this Titanic age well come along with us today Heralds of the Titans and let's explore the earliest known encounters with these primordial beasts some of the oldest Titans can be tracked back to 250 50 million years ago during an Agee of History known as the perian period during this period of time the Earth was incredibly radioactive and this gave way to the incredibly rapid evolution of multiple species some of the first Titans we know of are the jinsen Mushi and their entire purpose was to challenge the dominant Alpha Titans of Any Given ecosystem these Aven reptiles had the ability to implant their larvae into living hosts which would then hatch into new Offspring and in the modern day the Jensen Mushi eventually came to be known as the MOs these MOS kept the food chain at their mercy and the creatures who wish to ascend to the rank of alpha had to contend with the jinsen Mushi in order to do so and the first species to achieve this was our very own titanis Gojira the Gojira evolved over the course of eons and once they were strong enough to fend off the jinsen Mushi they planted themselves firmly on top of the food chain but this would be far from their most dire challenge the perian period is the L stage of the Paleozoic Era of prehistory which is marked by the single largest mass extinction event in the history of the planet for reference the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs made landfall 65 million years ago and gave way to a cleansing of the ecosystem that eradicated 76% of all living organisms this is the most violent Extinction event that we are often taught about or at least the one that is most commonly known but the Permian Extinction puts this event to shame in fact the eratic iation of the dinosaurs was just one of five mass extinction events that the world has seen in its history and the perian extinction is the worst of the five the perian extinction led to the death of 90% of all plant and animal life with marine animals being hit the hardest with an astounding 96 mortality rate Only the strongest of this age survived and on the front lines were the Titans in the monsterverse we don't know if there was a Titan related cause behind this mass extinction event but in the real world this was due to cycling weather patterns and severe instability volcanic activity was at an all-time high which raised ocean levels and temperatures by releasing methane and carbon dioxide into the air and into the sea in the monsterverse it's entirely possible that this mass extinction had something to do with the Titans and perhaps even a conflict between them though right now we don't have any firm evidence to support this Theory what we do know however is that the remaining Titans were in the top 10% of creatures that survived this cataclysmic event we don't know how many Titans died though only that many survived and mathematically it's even possible that the number of species we see today are representative of less than 10% of all of the Titans who ever lived across the history of the planet after the dust settled the remaining Titans found their niches in their home corners of the globe the survivors of such a devastating period in time many burrowed deep into the hollow Earth as the radioactivity of the world became less and less potent While others migrated around the surface of the planet it is around 250 million years ago that the first Congregation of Titans appeared on Skull Island making this permanent home for the remainder of History around 2.6 million years ago the earth began suffering the effects of the Ice Age and it's been widely theorized that the Ice Age was not a natural phenomenon in the monsterverse It is believed that none other than the new Titan shimo and the newest threat to Godzilla and Kong was responsible for the Ice Age itself the most fearsome of the ice Titans single-handedly giving way to this period of time why shimo would do this is currently unknown but there are a few reasons that we can speculate shimo may have been trying to reverse the effects of the peran extinction or she could have done this during a conflict with other Titans but until we have more information we simply don't know for sure why this would have been but what this does tell us though is that not only does shimo have Planet leveling capabilities but this also puts her among some of the oldest Titans she may have the ability to freeze the entirety of the planet as we know it and if she wants to do so in the new Empire then it could spell disaster for not just one city or one nation but the entire planet it's not until 30,000 BC though that we begin to find human accounts of the Titans including markings and caves where is located today in present day France in these carvings depicts what we believe to be the first recorded human contact with Godzilla the markings can be found in Godzilla Awakening and were first discovered by EG sarawa in 1953 but it seems that any human records of Godzilla or other Titans were taken after this period of time this just goes to show how much of the Titans history is still undiscovered and just how much actually happened in the hundreds of millions of years between their Inception and the records created by Humanity what we do know though is that Godzilla is also noted as one of the oldest Titans along with shimo with dates dating back 250 million years ago but in 11,000 BC we see the battle between the M Prime still referred to as the jinen Mushi and another member of the Gojira species known as Dean but for more information on this encounter in the history of Gojira Dean be sure to check out our video on that as well moving on in the timeline though by 1100 ad the only Gojira remained was Godzilla implying that the Great War Between the Gojira and the Kong took place at some point within this gap of time and somewhere in here many of the Gojira faced Extinction we know that the war took place after something threatened both the Gojira and the Kong and forced the two to unite some theories point that this may be the Gojira known as The Zo lawa where others believe it may have been King gadora but again we have theories covering both of these options that we encourage you to check out in other videos anyway once the fight subsided the Kong learned that the irradiated scales of the oira could be used to create weaponry and tools saturated with the energy of the hollow Earth and they wanted this power for themselves the Gojira though refused and at some point aong would end up killing a Gojira for one of his scales this is what sparked the war which led to heavy casualties on both sides and the near extinction of the Gojira and the Kong when the last of the Gojira remained however he roam the Earth only to be seen once every few hundred years by various cultures who regarded him as either a God or a curse but we all know him as the king of the monsters we know that the waning days of the Titan Supremacy led to the rise of king gadora and the epic battle that left him imprisoned in the ice but while the surface Titans were either dying out or were driven to ground a few pockets of Titans seemed to thrive specifically Skull Island remained relatively untouched for thousands of years letting Kong and the skull crawlers flourish in their own miniature terrarium and thanks to more tra ERS from the new Empire we know that the hollow Earth has also been left standing as well following these many wars and that this is where titanis shimo eventually wound up again recorded to be one of the oldest Titans and an offshoot of the Gojira species the history of the Titans is not only fascinating but massively incomplete still and there are still so many Mysteries surrounding their past but now humans are being caught in the crossfire Humanity has reigned Supreme for thousands of years and the Titans have large Fallen by the wayside but what is clear is the dawn of the new Empire and that the Titans dwarf whatever humans can muster so now we have to wait and see if humans and the Titans will be able to coexist for the foreseeable future or if one group Must Die for the other to achieve peace but anyway my friends what do you
