Something is coming. Kong can't stop this on his own. He won't be alone. For centuries there was harmony The Titans were the guardians of nature, and the great apes became the protectors of humanity. We've discovered a signal so you can feel it. Kong Godzilla They can feel it, too. Something is coming. Something even they're afraid of. Do you feel like going for a ride, though? You never ask. Try not to swallow your tongue What? my God Is that a mini kong? my God That's not just a signal That's a call for war What is that? Kong can't stop this on his own He won't be alone The last time those two met up was almost the end of Kong They don't have to like each other We just have to work together Now, I have seen everything. We've made some minor augmentations. Welcome back everyone It's Charlie Godzilla X Kong released another trailer
with a bunch more footage and Easter eggs. We got a better look at Shimo,
the other new titans, the Skar king. So we'll break it all down. If you're brand new to the channel,
be sure to subscribe to get all the episodes we're starting to get some really big stuff
in the next couple of weeks. but then start with another look at Skar King's
loyal Apes that look like they're the regular Titan apes
that are part of Kong's race. The other half of them look like they're being held
captive by Skar King in this place, just the way they're portraying them, the loyal ones
with the Red Handprint denoting their loyalty to skar king, we see the red handprint symbol It's blood here on the structures of the whole earth. It's kind of like Skar King marking his territory. They seem like they're loyal to him,
even though they're from Kong's race, just because he might have defeated
whoever Kong's ancestor was. there was ruling the Hollow Earth
before Skar King came along they're not totally clear on how the timelines work out here with Kong's
timeline in the monarch timeline, because they clarify during the Monarch series
that time moves differently inside the whole earth. It actually moves much quicker. soon is before all that timeline craziness. My theory was is that Skar King came along
and basically drove Kong's parents to Skull Island above ground. They were eventually killed by skull crawlers,
as we saw during Kong Skull Island. That movie Then Skar King just went on to rule
the rest of the Hollow Earth unchecked. but it's a way of explaining how you still have
all those apes down there from Kong's line. But Kong's parents went Skull Island. Like, why would they go to school island
unless they were driven to Skull Island? So the timelines are still a little bit wonky. And this doesn't really explain
what happened with Shimo, like how Skar King gained control of shimo because it seemed like
that was critical to him taking over the hollow Earth. we'll get into that in a second. they show more of Kong's first fight with Skar King
where he gets his ass beat. There are about the same size and strength
without any weapons the way they're portraying them. But the articles on Skar King
keep saying that he's an orangutan titan, not an ape titan like Kong, That's where all the clunky Kong
jokes came from when they first revealed his character. Like, is that like Kong? Is he going to be the main villain in the next movie,
there've been a lot of theories about Sue. Go to the Mini Kong in all the trailers because he
looks like a red eight that comes from these apes here. But a lot of people are like, Wait a minute, is he
related to Skar King because it's Skar King's child? Somehow? I don't know about that. But like later in the trailer,
you can actually see Skar King pick him up. It look like he's going to either kill him or just like
chuck him halfway across the world with his arms And basically Kong has to save him
like he's trying to save Suko from Skar King, I think part of the future
there is that he's meant to save suko and adopt him sort of like a sort of Kong situation
where it's not his biological child because suko comes from some apes
that were killed by Skar King. But suko will think of Kong as sort of
like a surrogate parent after this. I don't know if Suko is meant to be a male
or a female Titan, though they'll probably give us some more details
about that when we get closer to the movie coming out. there's some new footage of him
meeting Kong for the first time, then playing with him. and eventually it looks like he shows Kong where Skar
King's layer is, where the rest of the apes are being held prisoner in Kong tries
to defeat him with his ax weapon. From the last Godzilla versus Kong movie. whole idea with his ax weapon is that it's made
from one of Godzilla's scales in his spine. That's why it was able to absorb Godzilla's
atomic breath and it charged it up, making it even more powerful. he takes a chunk out of Kong's arm with his bone
chain weapon. It's not clear what kind of titan the bones are
from either like a snake Titan or something similar. you can let me know who's skeleton
you think it is in the comments. and it seems like after that happens
he releases Simo on Kong who totally Philipps when he sees her
look at his face here it. If it's not clear,
it looks like Skar King has shimo chained up. And that's one of the ways
he's controlling her or keeping her captive. She was meant to be a female titan. She looks kind of like this. The way they're using her in the movie. She's more like an evil Godzilla,
but not the exact same species of Titan as Godzilla. her main power, as far as we know. Like there might be multiple powers that she has,
but her main power is cold breath. She blast Kong
and it seems like it destroys his weapon. And since it's made from Godzilla scales
like dot, dot, dot the next few drops, that means that Godzilla would also be weak to her cold
breath attack, which I think is meant to set the stakes
for both Kong and Godzilla. Like she's a threat to both of them, be this kind of the way they try to keep the Titans
from getting too overpowered like Godzilla and Kong. Like they have to give them titans to fight
that have abilities that they are weak to the ideas that both of them take on Skar King and Shimo
separately so that neither one of them has to get tag team by both of them and all the other titans Skar King
controls by being de facto rule the Hollow Earth. Because the whole idea is that we've been talking about him controlling schmo
in that making him ruler of the whole earth. But technically
all the other titans in the Hollow Earth follow him because they're either afraid of him
or they're forced to. so really Skar King controls
all titans in the hollow Earth. way they're making it seem, though,
the way this is coming off is Skar King is able to maintain his control of Hollow Earth
because he's able to control shimo like without shimo, all of the other apes
there were just getting up together and kill him. so it's not really clear
how he's maintaining that control over shimo What is he doing to keep Cimino under lock and key? they haven't really got too much
into the lore behind him. So other than the teaser in previous movies
with symbols like this, like drawings in originally they were going to make her another main villain
with Mechagodzilla during Godzilla versus Kong. But I think they just decided
they had way too many characters in that film. Like Mechagodzilla was more than enough,
this is opted to save her for this movie. And it made more sense giving both Godzilla King
Kong their own villain to fight. we get a much clearer shot of Shimo freezing
Rio de Janeiro. Later in the movie, it seems like Skar King unleashes her on the surface world
and she starts freezing cities all over the place. In the major threat here is them
just wiping out humanity, one major city at a time. you can see her standing on the ice here in the bay,
shooting her cold breath into the clouds. And here's the thing. Early theory she might be trying to hit Mothra. Who's flying in the clouds. we also see her in the trailers
like this is meant to be Mothra reflected in Jia's eyes, the scene of her in the glowing
mass in front is Mothra is cocoon in her emerging merely theory without seeing more footage is that she seemingly got killed by ghidorah
in Godzilla King of the monsters. But she might have just gone into hibernation again
to heal herself. And it's taken this long link up to the events
of this movie before he's finished healing. Maybe she has something to do with giving Godzilla
his pink power up because she kind of did a version of that during Godzilla King of Monsters,
where she gave him a little bit of a power upgrade. He could always get that juice from somewhere
else, though, because look, in Jia's temple here, like this is the temple where her people worship
Godzilla in Kong, these other titans,
everything is glowing pink with energy. And this is Godzilla's
secondary cocoon in a different place where it seems like he's charging himself back
up, getting his pink upgrade. all these other scenes of the military attacking
Godzilla on land when he's glowing blue, seem
like they're from much earlier in the movie. not really clear why he's attacking this area
above and during the last movie he was going around destroying all the different apex bases above ground
that were creating or manipulating Titan DNA Yeah. The other cool connection
that's carrying over from the last movie with Apex is Kong's Infinity Gantlet.
Like we make all the Infinity Gantlet jokes like, You're done
now he's going to snap you out of existence. perfectly balanced as all Titans should be. his yellow brace here that they make him
is based on Apex Tech from the last movie
that Monarch basically absorbed after the fall of Apex. So after the end of the last movie,
essentially Apex is an organization was no more Monarch swooped in, basically took all their tech
and are in the middle of repurposing that and just kind of incorporating that
into all their research. So so basically Kong's
new gantlet is like a Mechagodzilla gantlet they've been doing that in all the Monsterverse movies
where like they take things from the previous movie and use it for plot in the next movie,
like Ghidorah is head, there's another brand new scene of Bernie Hays
and Eileen Andrews inside this temple. It might be Gere's People's Temple. Talking about the team up. She seems confident
that Godzilla is going to help Kong, despite the fact that they kind of hate each other
and they kind of get into this during the trailers and they alluded to it
at the end of the last movie, too. Like their whole relationship. basically they're like two giant burrows
that cannot occupy the same space. It's like Vin Diesel in the Rock. Like you can't put them in the same room
or they will start fighting. they basically called a truce
at the end of the last movie. Like you go your way. I'll go my way. Neither the twain shall meet. Like, we'll just stay away from each other. and during the events of this movie,
I think it's more about the enemy of my enemy is my friend situation where it's like, okay, clearly this is going to become a problem for me
if we don't take care of this together in something happens to Godzilla
and he realizes that he will have to help Kong. otherwise Skar King and shimo will come for him next but if there's any other big Easter eggs
