You see this?... This Bee right here?...
This is the Heavenly Principles. You don’t believe me?... Hold on then… By the
end of this video, I PROMISE YOU… You will. The Traveler’s Adventures in the Capitolium have
provided us with a lot of interesting pieces of information to speculate on moving forward
into Natlan… But, perhaps… Most importantly, Remuria FINALLY gave us closure to the vast
majority of unanswered questions and unsolved mysteries that precipitated from the Fontaine
Story line… Primarily the main Archon Quest and the Narzussenkreuz Saga… Which is perfect,
because that’s precisely what we wanted! And amongst all the shattered remains
of Stone Soldiers, Fallen Empires, and Dragons made out of Ichor,
what caught my attention the most… Were Bees… And to be more specific, I am
talking about the Golden Bee… Sy-Bee-lla. Ehe, ehe, ehe, ehe… Anyway, terrible puns aside, the first
time the Traveler and Paimon hear about Sybilla is when Wriotheslay relayed
to them the story of how the God-King Remus rode on his ship the Fortuna
alongside the prophetess Sybilla to gather the scattered tribes of the High
Waters and united them under his banner. Interestingly enough, Wriotheslay also points
out that by the time Remus met Sybilla, she had taken on the form of a humble
Golden Bee… Which we now know is a Seelie, but don’t worry, we will get
to that… One thing at a time. Sybilla herself is named after a real woman also
called Sibylla who was the Queen of Jerusalem, and the Sister of Baldwin the Fourth, who
in turn was the King of Jerusalem during the time of Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi…
You might recognize her from this not-so-historically-accurate movie called
Kingdom of Heaven featuring Orlando Bloom. Look, the point I am trying to make
is that Sybilla being named after the Queen of Jerusalem tells us two very
important things about her… First, it marks her as a Queen, and I am using this word
specifically because we are talking about Bees. It also associates her with Absolute
Divinity since in Orthodox Christianity, New Jerusalem is the Kingdom of Heaven… It
is the City of God mentioned in the Book of Revelation… Which is funny because the Book of
Revelation also mentions the Whore of Babylon, who in Genshin might be Princess
Fischl… And I already made an hour-long movie talking about her that
I will reference later in this video. Sybilla being a Heavenly Envoy, a Seelie, explains why her Golden Bees look almost
identical to Seelie Spirits and why Seelie can sometimes be found hanging out with Golden
Bees, which by the way is absolutely adorable. But… Do you know what else looks like
Seelies?... Oceanids… Especially baby Oceanids. And here… I want to tell you something important about how we should view the people whom
Remus conquered… I am carefully choosing my words because I am trying to
convey a very particular idea. During the Narzissenkreuz Adventure Quest,
the group of Hydro Mimics representing the Institute’s children refer to the
Oceanid on the tower in Annapausis as an Evil Dragon… And during Masquerade
of the Guilty, Neuvillette reveals that the people of Fontaine were Oceanids
transformed humanoid by the Goddess Egeria. In a video, I made back in patch 4.2, which
has somehow held up amazingly well to this day and that makes me very happy… I talked about a
metaphor found in the Excerpts of the Institute of Natural Philosophy that reads: "The lizard's bones
dissolved into mud, from which swans emerged." Now I apologize to all regular viewers because
I know I’ve talked about this many times before, but I need to explain this
to people who are new here. Those same excerpts start by stating
that Egeria shed the First Tear from which Oceanids were born… and from the
Wings of Merciful; Wrathful Waters, we learn that Egeria was created following the
death of the Previous Hydro Sovereign, likely from the Heart of the Previous Hydro Sovereign,
by one of the Shades of the Primordial One. In that same video… Dude, I LOVE REMURIA,
IT CONFIRMED SO MANY OF MY OLD THEORIES… In that same video, I also said that
the Shade of Life did this on purpose to prevent the Hydro Dragon from
reincarnating… Because remember, the First Heart of the Primordial Sea was a
Dragon… And the Second Heart, Egeria, was a God created by the Shade of Life to keep the power of
the Primordial Sea under the control of Celestia. And during The Last Day of Remuria, Cassiodor
confirms what I said word-for-word when he says no new Hydro Dragon could be born as long as Egeria
lived… And we have proof of that as the Third Heart of the Primordial Sea, Neuvillette, was only
born 500 years ago, shortly after Egeria’s death. This is why across all of my videos until now, I referenced the fact that Egeria is said
to have had a Heart with Nobility akin to that of a Dragon… It is because I highly
suspect that Egeria was created out of the Heart of Neuvillette’s predecessor, to
replace him and prevent his reincarnation. Alright, now that we have established
this, going back to the metaphor, “The lizard's bones dissolved into
mud, from which swans emerged.” The Swans in this metaphor are obviously
the Oceanids… And if Egeria shed the First Tear to create them from the bones of a
Lizard… Then based on the size of Apep, the only Liazrd I can think of that would
leave behind a carcass so massive to create these many Oceanids would be the
previous Hydro Dragon Sovereign. And if Egeria was indeed his Heart, then
her familiars being made from the rest of his body checks out… Therefore, since
they were born from the body of a Dragon, the Oceanids would, in turn,
be Draconic in Nature as well. So when Remus with Sybilla by his side
conquered the people of the High Waters… Who at the time were all Oceanids… He conquered
a land of Dragons… Just like the Primordial One. Now, don’t get me wrong… I am not
saying that Remus and Sybilla are the First Descender… What I am trying
to convey is that Remus’s Conquest of the High Waters is an allegorical retelling
by the developers of the Primordial One’s arrival into the Light Realm and the
establishment of the First Civilization. Get ready, because once I am done with
my explanation you’re not only going to know EXACTLY who the Sustainer of
Heavenly Principles IS… But also what kind of power Dainsleif wields… Here’s
a spoiler… It’s the power of Istaroth. The story of Remus’s meeting with
Sybilla near an Irminsul Tree owes its mythological inspiration to the Roman
Legend of the Trojan Hero Aeneas who went to the Underworld with the Cumaean Sibyl to
inquire his father about the future of Rome. Remus and Sybilla sailed on their ship, the
Fortuna, uniting the High Waters and terraforming it into the Remurian Empire… This is something
that the Primordial One also did… In fact, it’s a two-in-one combo… The Primordial
One’s Ship and the Terraformed land are both Teyvat… Because remember, the
word Teyvat in Hebrew means Ark. You will also notice that the ruling body made by
Remus perfectly matches the one established in the Heavens by Celestia… For starters, Remus was a
King, and he ruled alongside his Four Harmosts… Which is identical to the Primordial One… Because
you have to keep in mind that this Primordial One, as ironic as it is for the name… Is NOT a single
individual… It consists of five entities… You have the Four Shining Shades mentioned in Before
Sun and Moon, and then you have the King who is referenced in several places across the
game including Neuvillette’s Vision Story. And then there’s the Golden Bee Sybilla…
Whom earlier I specifically called a Queen, with emphasis on the word “Queen”... So, let me
ask you… If Remus and his Four Harmosts represent the King and the Four Shades… Then where
do you think Sybilla fits into all of this? Well, I already gave you the
answer right at the start of this video… She… Is the Moon… The Heavenly
Principles… The Queen of the Bee Hive. You see, Remus’s greatest ambition was to escape
from the Cycle of Fortuna, from Fate… To be free from the grasp of the Heavenly Principles.
In his notes at the top of the Tower of Gestalt, Rene de Petrichor writes that for one to qualify
as a Descender, they must possess a Will that rivals an ENTIRE WORLD… And if one has a Will that
rivals a world, then it is logically consistent for said Will to be capable of subduing the
combined Wills of that World underneath its law. This is what separates a True Descender
like the Traveler from an Outlander like the All-Devouring Narwhal… And according to
Buer, the Heavenly Principles is the First Descender… Meaning that it must have a Will
that rivals an entire world and can govern the world by forcing the people to submit to its
laws… Effectively making it the Master of Fate. In order to defy this Fate, Remus and Sybilla
decided to create their own version of the Heavenly Principles which they called the Grand
Symphony… To accomplish this, The Golden Bee Sybilla sacrificed herself to become Phobos, an
instrument of musical harmony… Remus then split the souls of his people from their bodies
and united them with Phobos, granting them eternal life and immortal bodies of stone that
could not be dissolved by the Primordial Sea. By absorbing them into Phobos, the Remurians
were able to directly hear the music of Remus’s Grand Symphony… This once again mirrors
how the Humans of the First Civilization lived with neither want nor need and could
directly communicate with the Heavenly Envoys. You can essentially think of Phobos as a hivemind…
A Bee Hive, since we’re talking about Bees anyway… With Golden Ichor as a substitute for
Honey, and Sybilla being the Queen Bee. This concept of using a Hivemind to break
free from the Heavenly Principles is not new at all… In fact, it seems almost
necessary… I mean, putting Remus aside, we have seen this method being
attempted by Amun, Jakob Baker, Zandik, and most recently Siraj in the
Story Quest: The Illusions of the Mob. With such individuals all reaching the same
conclusion, uniting the Wills of the people into One appears to be the only feasible
way to challenge the Will of a Descender. Looking at it from that perspective… Remus
attempted to turn Phobos into the equivalent of a Descender… A Will that rivals a
World… And… He succeeded… Ironically, Remus, a humble musician from the Land of
Amun managed to achieve what the Lord of the Blazing Sun never could… He established a
harmonious unity and built the greatest empire of its time whose music echoed across
the heavens and earth… Until it didn’t You see, there was one major flaw in the Grand
Symphony… Which was the fact that the Queen of the Bee Hive, Sybilla, being a Seelie
cursed by Celestia had no Will of her own and only wanted to grant the wishes of all people. Thus, just like the First Civilization that
succumbed to corruption and mortal temptation, Sybilla’s lack of Will to guide the Grand
Symphony, allowed Phobos to become corrupt with the desires of the Remurians, who viewed outsiders
as slaves of Fate and sought to eradicate them. Boethius, one of Remus's Harmosts,
obsessed with joining the Grand Symphony, was consumed by Phobos, which then used him as
its puppet. With a Harmost as its mouthpiece, Phobos's corruption became unsalvagable,
leading the Remurians to launch campaigns against the Barbarians, whom they considered
sub-human, aiming to annihilate them. Throughout all of this, Remus was
supposedly in a deep slumber… And interestingly this also mirrors the King of
Heaven who is also depicted to be asleep in books such as Vera’s Melancholy or
the Legend of the Shattered Halberd. One of the Four Harmosts, Cassiodor, did
not agree with what was transpiring… And thus went to awaken King Remus and
ask for his counsel on the matter… After learning of what happened, Remus
separated Cassiodor’s soul from Phobos, restoring his Free Will so that he may act on
his own accord… Remus then decided to destroy the Grand Symphony and entrusted Cassiodor
with guarding Remuria after its fall. While Cassiodor helped evacuate the
citizens of Remuria back to human society, Remus wrote Requiem, the Final Symphony… An
order for Phobos to self-destruct, and gave it to his ally, the Prince of Vishaps,
Scylla… Who gladly agreed to the plan, as he… By his own words, wished
to bear witness to Remus’s fall. Scylla and Remus then orchestrated
an attack on the Capitolium with the combined forces of vishaps and barbarians to
drive the Remurians away… However, Phobos, whose blind loyalty to Remus
reached the point of insanity, then decided that Remus HIMSELF
became an obstacle to his own wishes. It is very similar to how the Shogun Puppet
began to see Beelzebul as a roadblock to her own Eternity once the latter changed her
convictions in the Story Quest: Transient Dreams. Phobos then ordered Boethius, who by that
point had become the enactor of its Will, to betray Remus and sabotage the
destruction of the Grand Symphony… After which Boethius intercepted
Scylla and bound him in chains. OH HO HO HO HOOO, don’t worry
guys, keep this imagery in mind, we’re gonna come back to it… And I think
some of you know where this is going. Enraged by what Boethius had done, Remus then
activated the Final Symphony without Scylla’s presence to harness its power, leading to a
cataclysmic flood that swept away all of Remuria. Upon his return, Cassiodor confronted the
traitor Boethius who attempted to resurrect Phobos and shattered his soul into several
fragments which he sealed across the realm. Cassiodor then continues on with his duty
of guarding Remuria by possessing various bodies across the ages, becoming
known as the Marechaussee Hunter. Alright, now we are done with
the recap… We have reached the good part… So as always, get ready…
This is where the madness begins. Considering everything I have told you so far,
it is clear that the developers intentionally designed the structure of Remuria’s government to
mirror that of Celestia perfectly… Let’s face it, this is definitely not a coincidence… And the
fact that Celestia is situated RIGHT ABOVE where the Capitolium would’ve been before it sunk to
the Sea only adds more credence to this idea. So if Sybilla, Remus and the Four Harmosts
are a reference to the Heavenly Principles, Phanes, and the Four Shades… Then what stops
the events that transpired in Remuria from also reflecting what happened with
Celestia and the First Descender? Nothing… The answer is nothing…
What happened to Remus might very well be a product of Fate… A product
of Teyvat’s Cyclical Nature… This is the destiny of all Kings… To rise and
fall just as the Primordial One did. So… If Remus in Canticles of Harmony is
supposed to be the equivalent of The King, Phanes… Then what about Boethius and Cassiodor? Well… Hehe… I have a PRETTY GOOD IDEA of who
Boethius is supposed to represent… However, let us start with the one whom the
Traveler encounters first, Cassiodor. At the start of Canticles of Harmony, the
Traveler meets a heterochromatic talking cat that introduces himself as Ouranides
of Ouranopolis… Afterwhich Paimon, out of all people PAIMON, calls him Osse…
A name that sounds awfully similar to Oz, Fischl’s Raven companion… And if you
watched my video about the Angel’s Egg, then you know how much I believe
Paimon to be the REAL Princess Fischl. As if that was not enough, to
fuel my suspicions even further, Paimon goes ahead and DOUBLES DOWN on
this, referring to Osse as Monsieur Os. LIKE… GUYS, COME ON… SHE IS LITERALLY
RUBBING IT IN OUR FACES AT THIS POINT. NOW… When it comes to who this character is the equivalent of… This Cat,
Monsieur Os… … Is Dainsleif… OK, OK, Before you click off this video…
Sit down… Relax… Here, have a Snickers, you’re not you when you’re
hungry… Just hear me out here, OK? Bruh… This is gonna be interesting to explain… Alright, when I say that the cat is
Dainsleif… I am not talking about Cassiodor, this is an important distinction… I am saying
that Dainsleif is LITERALLY THE CAT, Osse. While possessing the cat, Cassiodor refers
to himself as Ouranides of Ouranopolis… The word Ouranides refers to the Titan
Children of Ouranos, the Primordial God of the Sky in Greek Mythology… And
is itself a play on the name Ouranos. And when it comes to Ouranopolis, it literally
translates to "Sky City" in Greek… And in Genshin, we happen to have a Sky City that is
right above Remuria… It’s called Celetia. Furthermore, Ouranopolis is the
name of a real city in Greece that in ancient times used to
honour the Goddess Aphrodite, who in turn is a daughter of Ouranos… Keep this
in mind, we will come back to it in a minute. Paimon simplifies that title to Monsieur Os,
which is incredibly similar to Fischl’s Oz. And in Mr. Nine’s book, Flowers for Princess
Fischl, Ozvaldo von Hrafnavins is called the Lord of the Night Ravens, who are the
Royal Knights of the Immernachtreich, the Kingdom of Everlasting Night… On Teyvat,
the only Kingdom that never had access to Sunlight is Khaenri’ah… And the Captain of
the Royal Guards of Khaenri’ah was Dainsleif. But that’s not all, there is more… Ozvaldo is
also said to be the one who destroyed Dämmerung, which means Twilight… And Dain’s
title is the Twilight Sword. So you see what I mean?... This is
why it is very likely that the cat, Osse, is supposed to represent Dainsleif. But then what about Cassiodor?
Well, Cassiodor is one of the Four Harmosts of the God-King Remus… Therefore, his equivalent would have to be one of
the Four Shining Shades… But which one? Simple answer… It’s Istaroth… In fact,
it has to be… Let me tell you why. We know that Istaroth is the God of Time and
the Mother of the Thousand Winds… Where in Ancient Mondstadt, she was worshipped
alongside the Anemo Archon Barbatos, who is for all intents and
purposes, a God of the Sky. Cassiodor, while in the body of Monsieur Os, calls himself Ouranides of Ouranopolis…
Which means that he hails from Ouranopolis, or he comes from Ouranopolis, or he rules
over Ouranopolis… And as I said earlier, Ouranopolis was a Greek city that honoured the
Goddess Aphrodite to the point where they referred to her as Aphrodite Urania to emphasize the fact
that she was a daughter of the Sky God Ouranos. And the reason Aphrodite is so important
is because her Babylonian equivalent is the Goddess Ishtar… From whom
Istaroth in Genshin gets her name. On top of that, both Aphrodite and Ishtar
are symbolized by the Planet Venus, where Venus is Aphrodite’s Roman name… And Venus
is also nicknamed the Morning Star while Ishtar’s symbol is the Eight-Pointed Star, and that is
quite literally the emblem of the Eclipse Dynasty of Khaenri’ah… And yes, I know that the Eclipse
Dynasty did not acknowledge any Gods… But perhaps they honoured Istaroth in some capacity… Or maybe
it’s just a coincidence… That doesn’t matter… What we care about is the fact that Dainsleif hails
from a Kingdom that has the Symbol of Ishtar. Cassiodor, Ishtar… Ouranides
of Ouranopolis, Dainsleif of Khaenri’ah… Osse, Dain… Os, Oz
You see what I am getting at? Additionally, if you take a closer look at
Dainsleif as a character, you will start to notice that he has a number of attributes that
are quite heavily involved with the concept of Time… For starters, he is Cursed with Immortality…
He literally cannot age… And his Constellation is Ouroboros which is a symbol of Time… And
also Ouroboros, Ouranides of Ouranopolis, they sound kinda similar right?... On top of
that, Dain is called the Twilight Sword where Twilight describes a certain moment when the sky
is still lit up, but the sun is hidden below the horizon… And we know for a fact that Istaroth
is a God of Moments… Dainsleif can also navigate the Abyss Order’s Tunnel Networks, which I am sure
requires some kind of Spacetime Magic Shenanigans. Also, we know that Ishtar is symbolized by
Venus… And the reason Venus is nicknamed the Morning Star is due to its bright
appearance during the period of Twilight. Have I convinced you that
Cassiodor’s equivalent is Istaroth? Because if all of that didn’t,
then I don’t know what will… Still… I need to clarify something to ensure that
we are all on the same page here… I am absolutely not saying that Dainsleif IS Istaroth… As I
mentioned earlier, there is a distinct difference between Osse and Cassiodor, they are NOT the
same… And when it comes to Dainsleif and Istaroth, I would argue that their distinction is even
bigger than the one between Osse and Cassiodor. I really hope this doesn’t age poorly, but
I don’t think that Istaroth is possessing Dainsleif per se… After all, it seems like
Dainsleif retains his own convictions, goals, and memories… Rather, I believe that
Istaroth is working in tandem with Dain. I suppose a good way to put it would
be that he is her sword… You know, Twilight sword and whatnot… She
gives him council and tells him what to do and he sees her will and commands
through... Something along those lines. So, if Remus is Phanes, Sybilla is the Heavenly
Principles, Osse is Dain, and Cassiodor is Istaroth… We are now left with Boethius… Boethius
the Traitor, the one who sought to revive Phobos, the one who wanted the Grand Symphony to
rule all life… Hehe, Yeah… This one is easy… Because Boethius cannot be anyone other
than the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles. One thing worth pointing out is that if you look
at the colour palettes of Boethius and Cassiodor, you will notice that they are consistent with
who they represent… Cassiodor wears blue, and the power that Dainsleif uses, which once again might
be derived from Istaroth, is blue as well… While Boethius is Red and the power of the Sustainer is
also Red… And Gold… But the Red is still there. So now, knowing who these characters
are supposed to portray, we suddenly have a VERY interesting outlook
on what took place in Celestia. The most fascinating and, Mind-boggling,
revelation that we get from all of this is that after Remus united the High Waters, the
Prince of Vishaps, Scylla… Became his ALLY… Which is… So insane to think about
because if Remus is the Usurper King then Scylla would have to be Nibelung
and I–I can’t wrap my head around how that would work… This is almost
tantamount to blasphemy… Honestly, look, I am very iffy about this particular
point so take it with a huge cube of halite. However, don’t completely discard
the idea because remember, before we got Remuria we ALL thought that Scylla
was a mortal enemy of Remus… Seriously, who amongst you knew that Scylla was an
ally of Remus?... We were all told that they were enemies and that Scylla was an
evil and wicked Dragon… But as it turns out… Scylla was not just an ally of Remus,
he was going to help him save Remuria. So… If I begrudgingly accept this storyline… Then
the version of events with get is the following Phanes came into the Light Realm from the
Abyss and met with whoever the hell was the equivalent of Sybilla at the time… If I
have to take a guess it’s probably Paimon. Phanes and the Four Shades… Somehow…
Established peace with Nibelung… And went on to create Teyvat in an otherwise
inhospitable world for humans… They then made the Heavenly Principles with the Moon as
its conduit… I say this because Phobos is the name of a Moon and in Genshin it takes the shape
of a Harp, while the Moon Sisters were Goddesses of both Music and Fate… The Heavenly
Principles became the Arbiter of Fate, a Will that equals a World to preside over
Humanity, with Seelies as its Heavenly Envoys. Before we continue, trust me, I know that
this whole idea of Nibelung and Phanes being allies sounds extremely weird… And I
agree that out of all things said, this one, in particular, has a very high likelihood of being
incorrect… But if you think about it for a bit, you will notice that there are certain
patterns which reinforce the possibility. Neuvillette took the form of humans and learned
how to love them… And Azhdaha’s whole spiel with Morax was about the spirit of coexistence with
humanity… And I can guarantee you that Natlan will be involved with the coexistence of humans
and dragons… Also, at the end of Homecoming, Apep reflects on how she wonders how far
the life that Celestia created will go. On that point actually, I wonder if just
like Remus, the King of Heaven, Phanes, had no animosity toward the Dragons and
managed to reach an understanding with them after creating Teyvat… With the
two factions coexisting peacefully. In furtherance of this theory… We have
evidence that the First Civilization, due to living in an era of
prosperity and abundance, became rife with greed and succumbed to sin
and mortal arrogation… Just like the Remurians. And if the Phobos, who wanted
to fulfill everyone’s wishes, became corrupt with the evil in its
people’s hearts… Then what stops the Heavenly Principles from also becoming corrupt
by its people’s twisted wants and desires? At the end of the day, we have to constantly
be aware of the fact that Genshin Impact is the spiritual successor to the Legend
of Saha… The man who made that game IS Genshin Impact’s Lead Producer… And in
the Legend of Saha, the Gods chose to grant the wishes of the Crusaders who
wanted to destroy the Nation of Nalan mainly because there were so many of them… So
in that regard, humanity is its own worst enemy. So maybe… It wasn’t Phanes who subjugated humanity
and waged war against the dragons… But instead, the culprits may have been the Shades… Over time,
the Shades might have grown prideful and arrogant, viewing their Heavenly Principles as the
only True and Absolute judicator of laws in the world… And thus began to see those
outside of its reach as lesser than them… Waging wars and conquests in the name of
absorbing… Or annihilating… All opposition. However, Istaroth may have remained
loyal to the Phanes and thus awoke him from his sleep to inform him of the
treason taking place behind his back, after which Phanes separated her from the Heavenly
Principle just as Remus did with Cassiodor. Similar to how Remuria was swept away
to the Abyssal Depths by a great flood, so too is the First Civilization said
to have been destroyed by the Primordial One in a biblical flood as a punishment for
their sins and to cleanse the land from them. Except, now we know that Remus did
not destroy Remuria intentionally… And maybe neither did Phanes… The Great
War of Vengeance where Nibelung came back with Forbidden Knowledge might have been
part of his plan with the King of Celestia to destroy the Heavenly Principle
which by then had become corrupt. After becoming aware of Phanes’s decision
to destroy it, the Heavenly Principles then likely ordered the Shades to intercept
Nibelung and prevent him from fulfilling his part of the plan… After which they
sealed him in a Crystal as THE SINNER. I MEAN LOOK AT THIS… JUST LOOK AT IT…
When I first saw Scylla chained like this, the first thought that immediately came to my mind
was THAT’S THE SINNER SON… It’s way too similar. But don’t worry, I won’t just tell you to
“Look At Him”... There is another, even better, reason behind my suspicion… And it has to
do with the Legend of the Shattered Halberd. You see, in volume four of that book,
there is a very interesting line where the protagonist’s adoptive father, Khan
the Asura, says that the Celestial Emperor, Fischl’s Father, was once a good friend
of his, and then calls him the Contra Mundi… Where the Phrase “Contra Mundi”
is the direct opposite of an Axis Munid, a World Axis, and it means “Going against the
World” or “Becoming an enemy of the World”. Now Khan the Asura should be Nibelung…
I’ve already gone over the logic of why that is the case in this theory
about King Irmin and Princess Fischl… So him calling the Celestial
Emperor “Contra Mundi” makes sense. The Heavenly Principles are the laws
and the Will that govern the world… So if Nibelung and Phanes went against
the Heavenly Principles just as Scylla and Remus went against the Grand Symphony,
even if they were doing the right thing, they would technically be
going against the World itself. And what REALLY seals the deal on
this matter is that once you break Scylla free from his chains, you get the
Achievement “Contra Mundum”... Which reads: “The king of vishaps, sealed
for millennia, awakens…” And we know that the King of Dragons,
Nibelung, attacked the Heavenly Principles with Forbidden Knowledge… So him being
sealed with Abyssal Power checks out. While Istaroth was attempting to save
as many people as she could… Phanes, in a fit of rage, might have attempted to
forcefully destroy the Heavenly Principles without Nibelung’s presence… Which
then led to the Abyssal Flood that engulfed Teyvat… And that’s where
the Divine Nails come into play. This version of events is so
weird… But… It somehow kinda works. I am now confident that the Sustainer of Heavenly
Principles is one of the Shades of the Primordial One… And looking at her from Boethius’s point
of view explains a lot of her actions… You see, Boethius was obsessed with Phobos, obsessed
with the Moon, to the point where he became its puppet… And the Unknown God is doing just
that… She is Sistaining the Heavenly Principles even at the cost of turning on her own kin
and King… And here’s what cements this idea. You see, the Sustainer’s Ars Goetia
name in the in-game files is Asmoday… This is something that we have known
for years now, it’s not new at all… Asmoday comes from the Demon
Asmodeus who, by the way, is also known as Asmoday in
the Lesser Key of Solomon… In some versions of the story, Asmoday ends
up overthrowing King Solomon and ruling the Kingdom in his stead… Essentially becoming
the new King… Exactly like how Boethius tried to become the next God-King before
Cassiodor and the Traveler stopped him. Nonetheless, when I say that the
Sustainer is the equivalent of Boethius, I do not only mean in terms of their
actions… I genuinely believe that the Sustainer would mirror Boethius even in terms
of who she is… Because remember, the Boethius we see in Canticles of Harmoney is not really
Boethius… By that point, he had degraded to a mere vessel of Phobos… A puppet under the
control of the Grand Symphony’s Hivemind. This theory explains really well why
Istaroth’s actions always appear to be in contradiction with the rest of Celestia…
She gave Barbatos to the people of Mondstadt to incite a rebellion against Decarabian… She
was the only one from Celestia not to abandon the people of Byakuyakoku until Orobashi
found them… This also explains why Istaroth helped Beelzebul in freeing the Sakred Sakura
from the Shackles of the Heavenly Principles… Because normally that makes no sense… If
Istaroth was part of Celestia’s Order, then why the hell would she go
against the Heavenly Principles? The answer we get from the Canticles of
Harmony appears to be that the current Celestia is composed of a corrupt Divine
Will and bunch of traitors who overthrew the King while Istaroth remains
the only one still loyal to him. And as a final food for thought… You know
how the Marechaussee Hunters were founded thanks to Cassiodor?... Well, what if
Istaroth also founded her own faction to protest the treason of Celestia?... You
know… A faction that does not acknowledge the Gods of Celestia… Like the
Eclipse Dynasty… Of Khaenri’ah. Who knows, we will see in the future… But, I still have a few quick things
to say before this video ends. If you want my honest opinion on all of
this, I don’t actually think the ending of Genshin will follow the story of Remuria
perfectly… Although there are some very cool details such as the Dainsleif and Istaroth
working together like Cassiodor and Monsieur Os… The ending of Genshin will still be
on a much grander and larger scale as it involves more characters that are absent
from Remuria such as the Hexenzirkel, the Archons, the Dragon Sovereigns, the
Fatui Harbingers, and Surtalogi’s faction. All in all, if there is any truth to
it, I expect this to be a very rough outline of Celestia’s Story and not
something to be taken TOO seriously. Finally… One last thing I want to mention
is that you might notice that the story of Remuria and Sybilla is kinda similar
to the story of Chenyu Vale with how the Goddess of that Land used to be a kind ruler
who wished to grant the Dreams of her people… Like how Sybilla wanted to grant everyone
happiness, but then she goes insane and Fujin, Changcheng and Lingyuan turn on her… Then
Lingyuan chases the people of Chenyu Vale to safety while Fujin joins Morax to
repair the Spirit Veins of the land. Speaking of Morax, I recently released a video
about Erosion where I made an enormous mistake and said that the Natural Order is different from
the Heavenly Principles… I said that because, when I played Zhongli’s Second Story Quest,
he and Azhdaha referred to the force behind Erosion as the Natural Order… But as
it turns out, Hoyoverse updated this voice line after patch 2.1 to explicitly say
Heavenly Principles instead of Natural Order. I never bothered to go back and double-check
the voice line after 2.1 because I did not expect such a change… However, there are
no excuses here, it’s plain and simple, I was completely wrong and I apologize for
it… I will be more careful in the future. But… Until the future comes, I still
have a SHIT TONE of videos to make before Natlan comes out… So, as
always… Huge thanks to everyone who supports this channel on Patreon
and thank you for watching this video. For now, I’ve been My Name For Now…
And I will see you soon. Take care.
