WHY is it an UNWRITTEN LAW to put the ONIONS on the bottom of a Hot Dog in Australia?

now that my friends yes we're in Australia once more and we're in Perth and I'm sounding rather chirpy it's a good act really because I'm a little worse for wear after last night's barbecue however today we are off to Bunnings to sample is it a sausage Sizzler yes sausage sizzle the sausage Sizzle and I was going to call this Paul made my sausage Sizzle but then I figured that might sound a little bit carry-on movie kind of style so I'll give that one a Miss I'll call something else first of all we're at the uh shopping mall because we're going to go and get some books for my little lad and also my daughter Bluey because it's an obsession isn't it and it's it's an Australian thing Bluey I think it is so uh my girlfriend said you have to go and get books I said oh there were loads of Bluey books she says why did you not get any you've got to get some so we've come back to get some and then we're going to go and get the sausage Sizzle which apparently is an institution here at Bunnings in in Perth is it Bunnings all over the austral all over Australia and a little fact for you about Bunnings as well so I'll get to that in a minute if you're new to the channel make sure you what is it it's actually like a b andq Bunnings isn't it it is like a bmq it's Hardware um home stuff garden stuff yeah uh tools stuff like that b and here's a little bit of information for you right and you can Google this if you want and correctly but I think I'm right I believe that they tried to open in the UK yes they did and they failed yeah so uh pop it in the comments section you're not surprised I'm not surprised it's you can't go against B andq you can't go head-to-head with BQ certainly not it's just not going to happen so check it up in the comment section I don't think being Q do a sausage Sizzle though no no no they don't how many sausage sizzles can you handle oh God I normally just have the one for the time is it onions you got onions oh and there's something special about the onions oh go on they got to be put on first not on top of the not on top of the sausage onions first bit of a Twist to it yes the the simple reason for that is you can call it a simple reason onions become a slip Hazard onions become a slip Hazard yeah if they fall on the floor I've never heard that before so what they started doing cuz they used to put the onions on top afterwards on the yeah so then because of this health and safety safety issue and so forth yeah they decided now you put the onions on the bottom then put the sausage on top do you know what I reckon next they'll be having you wear a hi's vest toita sausage Sizzle oh you just started something there hey there you go Bings yeah anyway can you say onwards my friends I'm with's my [Music] friends [Music] right here we are Bunnings Warehouse and we're going to get three sausage sizzles I'm looking forward to this with the the onions are on the bottom aren't they got to have them why have you got to have them on the bottom come and tell me come and tell me come and tell me why the why are there the rules why have you got to have them on the bottom Bunnings have come to a consensus Nationwide that they have to be on the bottom because apparently they fall out so if we do not put onions on the bottom we get in trouble health and safety health and safety because they could slip off and people could slip on them and you could get seriously hurt or worse and Val for money yeah and value for money as well wow they are quite big actually they look good [Music] right health and safety first we've got the onions on the bottom there that's why they're on the bottom now we're going to go in for this a Bunnings uh what's it called again a sausage Sizzle here we go oh hey that's good nice fresh bread I've mixed it up with um oh and I've dropped my onions they've D I've dropped them I've dropped my onions after all that and you believe it see it doesn't work health and safety doesn't work that somebody in high VI thinking that no they still on the still fall out that is amazing and you cannot be it's the future American mustard and ketchup right see you in a [Music] minute right so this is amazing we've got Helen here now this is a charity isn't it it is a charity empowering abilities together we're based here in Allenbrook um what we love doing is providing opportunities for people of disability to come and and have more uh opportunities and be inclusive So today we're working with a rabby league team Y and the the boys have come on board and we've got a couple of other clients as well and so the money today is going to help with micro bus Enterprises we have a couple of people looking at trying to get their businesses off the ground people of disability and then also all helping with employment counseling with some of our youth we want to help them find the right job we want them find the dream job so we need a bit of funding to help do that and you've got website social media we do so empowering abilities together eat eat is the acronym www.at.org there you go uh so you can find us out in some organizations we love sport we love getting out in the community so today is about coming and talking to people like yourself and say this is who we are and this is what we do and we love to have conversations with anybody fantastic it's great so not only is it a great sausage Sizzle it's all for charity as well fantastic so we have a little food track here so sometimes we go at and we do events and then we run um it's very basic one we run our barbecue so we can also give people work opportunities is the most important thing and help them build skills oh that's fantastic that's really good make sure you visit the website and if you're in New Zealand but we've been over here for a very long time now oh cool so we've been 20 plus years here in Australia wow um we've been Australian Army so we've been 25 years of traveling around the place and now we're in Perth and now we love it fantastic can you say onwards my friends onwards my friends you know you can't take me anywhere I've now not only just dropped onions I've now dropped my mustard on the floor I don't know I'm a health and safety acid I am it's just terrible can't take me anywhere I'm useless I tell you what that sausage Sizzle was amazing really really really enjoyed it and uh try The American mustard and the ketchup together does anybody else do that or is it disgusting I think it's great it's the future right we're going to head inside now um and we're going to go and get what are we getting a a gas a gas bottle for the barbecue uh and I'll take you with this you can have a quick look around and see what it's like compared to B andq back in the UK or Home Depot if you're in the United States um you see I know all my hardware stores however I've never used any cu I'm useless at DIY let's get in [Music] there so it's um it's pretty much the same as being Q back in the UK or Home Depot in the US like I said they've got a garden center here uh at Christmas they've got all the Christmas decorations down one side and Christmas lighting Etc uh you got paint you got basically everything you got in Home Depo uh and B andq I wonder what the prices are though let's have a look at some paint for instance I'll just choose one item I'm not going down every aisle and let's see what paint is like for Price compared to the UK and the Us and other places around the world right so you got duux there we go wash and wear $669 that's half that in the UK so be about 33 quid uh what we got here as well there we go $49.90 a bigger tin there look big tin like that low Sheen $210 hang on a minute British Paints I've not heard of British Paints but there we go uh 8820 also just out of interest for you this is pet friendly you can bring your dog in pop it in the trolley uh I guess you could do it with a cat as well but I don't think that would be a bit
