why hobbies are important

foreign [Music] I realized that I don't have any hobbies when I was a kid I feel like all I ever had were Hobbies and for the past several years I dedicated my time to learning about film and video and editing and now it's really cool that I get to earn a living from that through freelance and now sort of YouTube but but now that means that um I don't have a hobby because that was my hobby and then now it's a career and so that means that I don't have a hobby you know how creative types are Passions life literally my whole life dedicated committed for life um and that can get a little intense you know I'm not saying that's a bad thing but good or bad that's what makes us who we are but there can be hazards when leaving that tap running too long basically it can lead to burnout and I don't I don't wanna I don't want to be like that so I gotta figure that out nowadays if someone has an inkling of an affinity towards something there's this pressure to leverage and monetize [Music] but I think that is okay and actually healthy to have hobbies outside your main hustle or grind whether they relate to it in some way or not I've tried a couple of things in the past but lately I've just been needing to channel my creativity into something else something different something that I can allow myself to switch gears for a while what are you doing tomorrow [Music] ready foreign guys we did an orientation before getting on this thing and like bro we're gonna die it was rough it was brutal like I don't even know where I'm supposed to go okay you got it okay jump just jump yeah let go just push off yep let go bro all right you got this how about that one do you think that would be do you see how scary the rocks are the white tape is easy what's the green tape hard as she's doing a lot better than I did you're really gonna try to reach for that black one go for it as long as you I will catch you no you won't I will try to catch you [Music] yeah all right so this is actually proving to be a lot harder than I thought understatement the amount of upper body shrink none on my part she is surprisingly good [Music] ah there's someone really on the harnesses right now I totally got this okay shoot dude she knows what she's doing all right this is Chums [Music] well it's raining outside but that was fun and I would totally do that again that was great it's been a while since I've tried something new and it was nice to throw myself into something that required a lot of focus and physicality and I also I just want to say thank you so much to like all the support on my first few Vlogs that guy is so insane you guys killed it and I'm excited to continue doing the weekly Vlog so thanks and I love you guys thank you foreign [Music] [Applause]
