thank you greetings beloved I'm Pastor kiomo Butler this is restoration Victory Ministries we thank you for joining in again with us today for another teaching I'm really excited about today's lesson so let's let's jump right into it let us borrow his for a moment of Prayer father we come to you in Jesus name we thank you for your love we thank you for your mercy we thank you for your grace congrat's Holy Father that this lesson today will be led by you through the holy spirit of God and that it will be all of you and none of me in Jesus name we pray amen and beloved like I said I'm excited about today so let's just let's jump right into this man let's have some fun with the word of God today sometimes I feel like you know um with me and with other ministers sometimes we can get so bogged down and make the word of God so serious that it's too serious sometimes it's unrelatable sometimes it's not given to us in a way that we can understand and dissect on a personal level so I'm going to try to break this all the way down to just the basic intermediate understanding so that whether you're a babe in Christ whether you're not even a born-again Christian yet or whether you've been serving and worshiping and following Jesus for 30 40 Years it'll all resonate with your spirit let me ask you a question for those of us that are Christians a real question like a real serious down-to-earth simple question you know I'm gonna use I'm gonna use regular language I'm gonna use a little Street language um who you with like when people see you whose team do they say you're on my God does your life represent the fact that you are a born-again Christian that you're covered under the blood of Jesus Christ does your life represent the fact that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you and that you honor him with your living does your life represent that you love Jesus Christ that you love the body of Christ and that you take pride in being a Christian like you wear this crossed on your chest you you people know people see people understand yeah okay I understand that's one of them Christians if a non-believer sees you if someone who's not born again what do they say do they say oh yeah that's one of them Christians yeah he one of them Christians yeah he I don't know what it is about him but there's something about him he's a little different than everybody else you know he's one of you know you're a Christian you know he's one of them nice ones or if a Christian that doesn't know you sees you does your spirit and the way you carry yourself bear witness with their spirit that they say yeah you can tell that man that woman that child they spend time with Jesus they know the Lord people see you do they say oh yeah he's annoying that the spirit of God is on that boy spirit of God is on that girl spirit of God is on that man and woman does your life so shine before men so that they will see your good works and glorify the Father which is in heaven is your life an example a living epistle that the Apostle Paul would say of Jesus Christ that you're born again that this is real now this is for me I know some of you all watching this y'all are perfect I understand y'all never did anything wrong but for me and for all those out there like me that are honest when people that you knew before you were really born again we all grew up in the church most of us so I'm not talking about the people that were faking and playing Christianity like you but the people that you ran with when you were running away from God when you're in the back in the booth in the corner doing what you want to do when you were living the life that you wanted to live when you really had no recognition of the fact that you were a Christian when you were out there when you were wobbling and when you were about that life when they see you now do they look at you and say you know again I'm using me as an example they look at you and say oh why is that Mo wait no that can't Moe like mo mobile like no you talking about the chemo the mole that we used to hang out with that smoke really more not he's not out there doing this he's not in the club doing this he's not partying he's not hanging there's no more no more like when people see you do that say that about you so when they see you do they say oh I knew Mo wasn't real oh yeah I knew it yeah that that's Mo that's the one that you yeah he got the YouTube channel he preaching on Sundays but he out there doing all this craziness yeah because see the Bible says the Gentiles praise God blaspheming the name of God because of you means that sometimes our actions when they don't line up with the word what they don't online we profess non-believers Sinners that gives them room to ridicule and blaspheme Jesus Christ blasphemy everything that you say you stand for so my question is as we get into this who you with like whose team are you genuinely on and your spirit and in your heart what does your life represent now real simply because you know sometimes we can take messages and the messages are so burdensome to some people that they can't bear it I'm not saying be perfect because the Bible says that there are none that are perfect no not one the Bible says that we of all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of the Lord excuse me you guys so there's nothing perfect there's no one perfect but you can have a perfect resolve see if your heart and your spirit is perfect and you have a perfect desire to each day live for God then the little things that you do slowly but surely the holy spirit of God will change you more and more and more and more each day okay praise God but some this this is from the Holy Spirit some of us have decided that we want to be a la carte Christians some of us have decided that we want to be Christians and we want to say we're born again Christians but we want to live the way we want to live as long as we say we're Christians but again I don't want to get too far into my message with all that being said ask yourself as we go through this today and I promise you this is not going to be as long as some of the other ones I know I always say the beginning I'm not going to be before you alone today I won't because this message is not something that I need to beat into you it's real simple have you decided that your life and your living is going to represent Jesus in the Kingdom or not who you with and I'm gonna show you I'm gonna show you how detrimental it is to you and how deadly it can be if you don't make the right decision now listen we're gonna come I'm gonna read from Joshua Old Testament 24 chapter starting at the 14th verse I'm gonna read the 14th and the 15th verse and I'm explaining it to you and then we're going to get into some new testament scriptures and we'll be out of here because again I this is one of those things where you have to ask yourself this is one of those introspective moments where you have to do some personal wow inventory that's a good word personal inventory of who you are and what's really going on in the inside of you because if that's not right if a man as a man thinketh in his heart so is he keep your heart with all diligence from out of your heart flows the issues of your life if your heart is not right your thinking is not right and what because of you what people see will not be right but let's look at this Joshua 24 chapter 15th and the 16th verse now Joshua was talking to the children of Israel I'm gonna set this up right quick he was talking to the children of Israel this is after they crossed the Red Sea after the Lord has sustained them in the wilderness after Moses after they had been given the Ten Commandments and then they start feeling itself and a lot of them turned away and the land that God had brought them into the land's form was with milk and honey the landform with milk and honey they start picking up the customers of that area they start fault worshiping idle guards they stop sacrificing to God like they were supposed to they didn't really honor the laws and the Commandments that God had given down they weren't honoring the Sabbath I mean they were doing everything trying to be a Hebrew be a Israelite be a Jew but a la carte following it when they want to follow it mixing it with other other Pagan religions because we know at that time if it wasn't God the Father everything else was paganism so they were mixing themselves with the cultures of that land they were going back to some of the old things that they had learned when they were in Egypt serving of the false gods and the idol guys and the worshiping of different stuff not sacrificing not doing the things that God had told them to do so the prophet Joshua came to them and he said to them listen 15 verse he said if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord choose you this day whom you will serve whether the gods which your father served on the other side of the flood are the god of the amorites and whose land you dwell but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord now for all of you out there there's two parts to that as for me and my house meaning as a Christian you in your house has to serve the Lord you and your parents teaching their kids you have to teach and make sure that your whole home honors and serves the Lord but the reality of it is we all know anyone who's married anyone who has kids anyone who has family members that live with them you cannot force another person to do anything you can't with today's time and the way things are going on with the internet and with everything and all the information the false information that's available to everybody you can't really even train your kids the way our parents used to be able to train us because there's so much stuff out there that kids can see on the internet you have to pray and go to the Lord to cover your home so that you and your house can serve the Lord but even outside of that you as an individual first and foremost your body your house your temple second Corinthians 6 19 and 20. what no you're not that your body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit which you have in you which you have from God for you are not your own you were bought with the price so glorify God with your whole body and your whole Spirit which belongs to him glorify God in your house allow your light to shine because see this is where it's real husband and wives and I'll go there husband and wives and everything and everyone that's covered under grandparents and you know grandmas and grandpas Nana's and Papa's and everyone that's covered under that if you individually your house if you serve the Lord and you show that you serve the Lord and that you honor the Lord everyone else will see and then you will be able to see how to correctly teach others to do the same but if people look at you and they don't know who you with they don't know whose team you own they don't know what you've chosen to do because you say this but you do that you know how we were growing up I know how me I was growing up in Louisiana I've heard this a lot of times do as I say not as I do I've even tried to say that to my son and had to catch myself do as I say not as I do that's incorrect if what you say doesn't line up with what you do if you're doing doesn't line up with the word no there are certain things as an adult you can do that a child can't do so I'm not talking about that but to do as I say not as I do I'm using that strictly to say that if you're doing if you're not living right if you're not not lying not stealing not cheating not hateful not angry not fornicating not committing adultery not in the back in the booth in the corner doing all kind of stuff if you're not doing that then you can tell someone else not to do it and they will see your light and your light will so shine before men so that then they will see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven we cannot we have to understand how serious this loving not the world the Bible says in the book of I want to say it's first John second chapter 15 verse it says love not the world are the things of this world for any If any man would love the world then the love of the father is not in him for all that is in this world the lust of the flesh the lust of the eyes and the prize of Life are not of God but of this world and the world is passing away and the lust thereof but he who do it the will of the father shall abide forever start there love not the world love not the world system of the things of this world for if you love the world and the love of the father cannot be in you if you have not decided that you are going to live by the fruits of the spirit now the fruits of the spirit of love joy peace long suffering goodness kindness faithfulness gentleness and self-control and against those there is no law and then the Bible says in those who are Christ have crucified the flesh with his lust and his Passions if we live in the spirit let us also walk in the spirit so if you're living and walking in the spirit you're loving the things of God you've chosen chosen God choosing chosen God then you're not concerned about the things of this world who who you with what do they see did they see this Christian walking in the fruits of the spirit or do they see a man that's a la carte Christianity that wants to be a Christian that claims you're a Christian but he's still living according to the rules of the world in the Book of James the fourth chapter starting at the fourth verse it says adulterers and adulterous do you not know that a friendship with the world makes you an enemy with a god whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God it says or do you think that the scripture says in vain that the spirit that dwells in US yearns to Envy yearns jealousy the Bible says adulterers and adulterances do not know that if you want to be a friend of the world you cannot be a friend of God he wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God or do you not know that the holy spirit that dwells on the inside of us yearns jealousy that means that the holy spirit that will received as Christians is a jealous Spirit God is a jealous God so we can't say that we love God and we're Christians and we're born again but our lifestyle and everything that we do and everything that we say glorifies the devil let's just keep it real we got on a team Jesus t-shirt inside the strip club hey don't you just don't go together and again listen I am not here pointing my finger at nobody because when you point your finger at other people you got three pointed back at you the Bible says judge not so that you may not be judged so I am not judging I am speaking from experience and from a humble and contrite heart a passionate heart towards all of us that love Jesus Christ trying to say Hey listen you can't do both beloved you cannot do both we have this teaching of grace and grace is God's unmerited favor and spiritual blessings Grace is everything that you've done the lifestyle that you've lived all all the handwriting of ordinances and on the wall that's against you once you become born again that's all white clean but if you continue in it then is it really wipe clean I mean Grant no say this you could be because none that are perfect no not a one we all fall short of the glory of God so you can become born again and in your struggles to be righteous because you are committed to change you're seeking this righteousness and all that old stuff that you used to do it's gonna take a little time to be redeemed from all that it's not easy it don't just happen when you've been conditioned to do things a certain way for so much longer so for so much time for certain amount of time for so long that when you're born again it just doesn't change those old habits those old lusts those old desires don't just go away but when you're committed to walking in the fruits of the spirit when you're committed to weighing your Jesus Christ t-shirt then you have the strength to say nah I can't do that nah I can't go there no I can't have that kind of conversation now I can't get involved in that kind of situation no I don't want to have anything to do with it nah brother thank you I'm sorry nah cool because again who you're with like what team do you represent when people see you what they say oh yeah yeah no that brother walked away from the world he was dead serious that sister walked away she was dead serious I remember when he used to I remember when she used to but man look what God has done in their lives oh will you be one that's still struggling still repenting 30 years from now you still repent and not repenting for remember we talked last week about the sneak attacks from the Devil not repenting because you're out with your family and something happens and as a man or as a woman or as a protector you protect your family and you may do something that's a little edgy and protection in your family because the Devil is a sneak attack on you but you and your protective nature protecting your family God will forgive you from that all day but if you're not wanting to change like I know some people who will say man you know I understand but this is just me you know I just do it like this I just do it like this then you're dealing with that same demon the devil not even worried about you you know why because you have not committed yourself to change the devil don't really care whatever yeah just send send two or three more demons at him he good we got him we ain't got to worry about him he'll never be delivered she'll never be delivered they'll never be redeemed because they have not committed within themselves to change work out your own salvation with fear and trembling for his God that worketh in you both to Will and to do for his good pleasure does your T-shirt does your shirt does your hat does your bumper sticker represent your life even more than that now I'm gonna talk about me again because I know some of us you know we're perfect I had a yes Jesus license plate on my car still haven't just using license plate on my car been having it for 10 years from the time I started ministry the time I backslid and back into Ministry and I used to have that yes Jesus license plate parked at the club how ridiculous and idiotic could that be not talking about you guys I'm talking about me see one great thing about this is I'm not one that's trying to throw salt on you I'm throwing assault on me first and then it burned me so now I'm trying to talk to you so you don't get burned how ridiculous is that I don't know yes Jesus t-shirt but I'm at the club yeah some of that don't go together I got only yes Jesus shirt oh yes Jesus tag on my car but I'm drinking and not just having a not just having a casual drink every now and then because nothing's wrong with that not not a moderate drink not a drink with dinner not a drink to Wine Not a drink to celebrate but I'm talking about drinking partying but then I go get in my yes Jesus car and drive home huh I mean for me not for you guys I had to keep saying this because I don't want anyone to say I'm attacking you but that's super stupid like that is the definition of insanity I taught on that a while back and I am open enough for everyone listening I am open enough to be honest with myself about my junk and I know that 99 of the junk that I went through was self-inflicted so I am trying to make sure that you guys don't inflict the same pain on yourselves who you with who's signing on the Bible says book of either glaciers or Ephesians one of the two excuse me the Bible says that no man that enlists themselves in the Warfare concerns himself with the Affairs of this world so he may enlist or he may impress him that enlisted him to be a soldier and no man when he competes for Mastery can be crowned unless he competes according to the rule then it says the hard-working former must be the first to partake of the crop he says consider what I'm saying to may the Lord give you understanding in all things what does that passage of scripture mean that passage of scripture means and I'm about to close after this I'm gonna give them to say this then I'm gonna say what Jesus said then we can go that Pastor scripture says listen you can't enlist yourself in this army of the Lord you can't say you want to be a soldier in the army of the Lord it actually comes from that passage comes from Timothy I brought it back thank you Holy Spirit you can't say that you want to be a soldier in this Army you're fighting this Warfare your own team Jesus but then you don't want to do it the way the Bible says the Bible says prepare yourself this way put on your full armor do it this way dress yourself This Way gird yourself up this way be sober and be vigilant this way and you say whatever I can do all that but I'm not gonna do that that's cool all right I can do those three but these three or four right here yeah I'm just gonna you know I'm gonna do it my way that's it that won't work the Bible says you cannot compete in masteries and receive the crown unless you do it according to the rules again you cannot play in the game it's the example the Bible was given but I'm saying I'm explaining it to you you cannot say I want to be on team Jesus put me in the game Lord put me out there Let Me Shine for you let me spread the gospel but you don't want to do it his way you want to do it your way because this whole thing is spiritual we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities Powers rules of Darkness of this world spiritual host of wickedness in high places therefore put on the full armor of the law that you may be able to stand against the wise of the devil and having done all stand then he says stand there for having gird your ways up with truth put on the breastplate of righteousness shine your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace taking above all the shield of Faith by which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God but if you say hey you know what I know this is what I need to go in the game coach but I don't want to walk in peace so I'm not going to cover my feet I'm not going to shine my feet with peace well you know what I'm gonna put on everything but the truth I'm not quite sure about that truth part so I'm not going to gird up my Lawrence well you know the shield of faith I got faith but what about being a Muslim or you know I believe the word but the word contradicts up and then we got all these different things and I'm just using as an example we got all this different stuff that we give our self Liberty to do that the world does not give us Liberty to do and therefore we're not competing according to the rules therefore we're not in this Warfare that we're in concerning ourselves with the master is saying we'll worry about what the world say and because of that we cannot the hard-working former must be the first to partake of the crop we cannot reap the benefits that we receive from being a Christian and then the Gentile is two things that praise God two things if you don't do it the right way you will not reap the benefits on this Earth because we walk in the flesh but we do not go after the flesh the weapons of our Warfare are not corner but they're modding through the law for the pulling down all strongholds casting down every vain imagination and every High thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God bring it into captivity every thought to The Obedience of Jesus Christ and then being ready to punish all Disobedience when our obedience is fulfilled but if we're not strong in this word if we're not doing it the right way if we have kinks in our armor if we're not sure who we with if our lifestyle doesn't represent team Jesus then we give the Flesh and Blood we give the principalities and the power we give the rules of Darkness of this world we give the spiritual host of wickedness in high places all kind of opportunity to beat our butt through everything through sickness through disease through world events through social events do things that's happening through friends and family that attack us through shoot stuff that we do wrong that causes attack upon ourselves the Bible says let no man say that he is tempted when he is tempted that he has been tempted by God it's the Book of James for God doesn't tempt any man nor can God himself be tempted with evil but each man is tempted when he's drawn away by his own lust and he's enticed when his love his lust is conceived it brings forth to sin when the sin is full blown it brings forth death you have to make a personal decision that you want to live for Jesus Christ and that you want your life to shine on this Earth so people can see and glorify Jesus Christ in you you want people who don't know you so say oh yeah that man that brother that he loves God he spent time with God you want people that who used to know you look at you now and say oh my God that that's I need to become a Christian if that's what God does that's the kind of living you get from selling your soul out to Jesus like when you totally committed to Jesus that's the blessings see praise God this is not my this is my teacher for next week but I'm gonna say this we have to understand that when God created heaven and earth he sent Adam to the Earth and Adam had what we call the Eden living Adam had a life Jesus said the thief comes with the steel killed and destroyed which he what he did to Adam but I came that you should have life and life more abundantly restores back to life and life more abundantly restores to the life that Adam had a life of complete full happiness blessings favor through Jesus Christ completely free from any agitation words stress problems struggle Adam had no issues that is God's design for us that is how God wouldn't have made Adam in His image and his likeness and wouldn't have gave him dominion over the Earth if he didn't want us to be there see we get so confused because I know I understand the times that we're living in the heart they're rough it's not a joke listen I'm living with you so I'm not teaching you something that I don't know again I'm always going to teach from a place of understanding because I've been through it this junk is rough living this life on this Earth is rough and if you're not committed and you're not solidified in who you are and who team you are whose team you are just like Adam if you don't know who you are and if you don't represent who you are and if your life does not shine and show those who you are the devil will come in to steal kill and destroy but Jesus came there we should have life and life more abundantly we've been restored back to that even type living to that Atomic state but if we don't accept it if we don't believe it if we don't own it we will never ever walk in that victory on this Earth so it's two things first on this Earth we will never walk into Victory if I were if we haven't decided that we want to live and walk in the fruits of the spirit being led by the holy spirit of God not quenching the holy spirit of God not grieving the holy spirit of God because we know that our house our body our Temple belongs to God is the Temple of the holy spirit of God which we have in US that's the first thing if we don't accept that on this Earth then the enemy will continue to destroy kill steal and destroy life and life more abundantly comes from deciding whose team you're on and then knowing that through that you're going to go through the struggling people are I mean demons are going to get worse the attacks are going to get worse stuff coming at you is going to get worse because you decided to live for Jesus but as you continue to grow and grow you're going to get stronger and stronger you're going to be to defeat the enemy more and more and then those things that you can't defeat an enemy God is giving you a certain power to defeat the enemy We Go From Grace to Grace glory to glory we also go from Faith to Faith so he's giving it to us through the Holy Spirit but God knows us and knows our heart on those things that we can't defeat the Holy Spirit then he'll step in he'll step in on our behalf but only if we've decided that we honor him he's not going to step in and save us from something that stems from something that we've done on this earth when we have not changed cause soon as he saves us we're going to go back and do it again so that's the first thing life and life more abundantly on this Earth secondly we have to be careful as Christians not to think that just because we're born again or just because we do something Christian just because we say we believe but yet our life doesn't show that we believe that we're going to have things work out for us the way we should or where we think they should in judgment Beyond The Shadow Without all of us know casting out demons speaking tongues laying your hands on the sick those are things that you receive through if you're doing it through Jesus Christ the spirit and the power of God is upon you through the holy spirit of God you're Victorious we all agree with that but do you know that Jesus even said that there's someone going to say to him in the end Lord have we not cast out demons in your name have we not healed in your name in your name have we not done Mighty great works and Jesus is going to say depart from me I never knew you you who practice iniquity which means you can do great things in Jesus name you can have the anointing on you to do great things but you live a life where you practice iniquity you live a life where your light does not show that you're a Christian the only thing that says you're a Christian like me like me praise God the only thing that says you're a Christian like me is in my case the old tapes that I had of me on TV and a license plate everything else said now that boy dude that that I don't even think he believes in Jesus he might believe in Jesus he might have found Jesus but Jesus didn't find him you practice iniquity think about that you practice iniquity think about that do all these great things in the name of Jesus do all these great things in the church but you practice iniquity your life practice iniquity when people see you they cannot say they're not that's not an overwhelming thing that says oh yeah he's changed she's changed some about them are different I mean why do you want why would you want to be a Christian that people look at and say good I would rather be a Christian not just in general that people are still confused and lost and not sure about my change but yet they can't say nothing evil only thing evil they could say about you is there's no way that person could change because I remember when you can say that all day that right there doesn't matter what matters is what you're doing today how you're living right now whose team you're representing right now one more passage of scripture First Corinthians 13 and I'll close with this sum it all up if you really want to know I said walk in the fruits of the spirit listen to this First Corinthians 13. the Bible says though I speak with the tongues and angels of angels and men and I have not love I'm like sounding brass and clinging symbols I'm just making noise and don't have the gifts of Prophecy understand all Mysteries and all knowledge and I have all Faith so that I can move a mountain and I have not love I am nothing and though I give all my goods up to the poor and I offer up my body to be burned and I have not love it profits me nothing faith hope and love the greatest of these three is love fruits of the spirit the very first one love the Bible says beloved let us love one another for lovers of God he that loveth nor God he that loving not nor not God for God is love we could start there there's anything that we have to do let's start there I'm just making a point as I close the Bible says that you can speak in tongues you can have all Faith you can have all wisdom you can prophesy you can give all your goods away to the poor and the wholeness and the needy you can do all these things but if you're not doing it according to the word of God in that particular passage we're talking about love but I'm talking about the full group fruits of the spirit and I'm pairing this with the parable that I just told you about the Lord when he said to those who came to him in end time and judgment if you're not doing it according to the word if you're not putting away that iniquity if you're not living a life that does not practice iniquity if you're not seeking to walk in the fruits of the spirit the Lord is going to say depart from me I never knew you then all your gifts all your prophecy all your casting out demons all your faith all your goodness all your righteousness all your given to the poor all your humanitarian efforts all that that you're doing is in your heart you're not walking in love if in your heart you have not decided to walk in the fruits of the spirit if in your heart the way you live out of abundance of the heart the mouth speak as a man thinketh in his heart so is he keep your heart with all diligence for all your heart flows the issues of your life if your life if What flows out of you does not represent the gospel the fruits of the spirit Jesus Christ the Kingdom of Heaven if people can't look at you and say I know who team he on I know who he with without you having to say a word we love it I would caution you to be careful because I would caution you humbly to say to you that it may not work out for you the way you think you do again this is not my opinion this is this is the word the word Jesus said that you can do all these great Supernatural things and I'm still gonna say to you depart from me you who practice iniquity the greatest thing the Bible tells us to do first is to love to love God to love Jesus to love ourselves to love others that's the very first of the fruits of the spirit and if you don't love I'm just showing you how important is if you don't love that casting out demons speaking in tongues laying your hands on the sick healing giving allowing yourself to be burned to save others none of that matters your faith none of that matters because you have not put the foundation first beloved I am always going to try and teach from a place of where I've been what I've seen which is honestly I'm not saying this this Mighty would turn some people off but I've pretty much seen it all there's some things that I haven't seen some things that I haven't been involved with but by association I've probably seen and heard it all I've been as they say I was out there the Lord delivered me once praise God praise God as I close my quick testimony the Lord delivered me and I was on fire for the Lord totally sold out for the Lord but then I left the doorman for the enemy and slowly but surely I start giving myself more freedom slowly but surely I start giving myself more leeway slowly but surely I start a la carte and Christianity to the point where before long I didn't even recognize who I was myself there was no way that the man that I became was the man that I started out me me not you guys I know you're smarter than me I know you're stronger than me no you got more willpower than me so that's not you just me just listen to me and hopefully maybe what I say can help you I was Buckwild Christ saved me but then I start I could do a little bit of this I could do a little bit of that I could do a little bit of this that you know I can hang out that ain't angled but I could drink a little bit you know I could smoke a little hookah that ain't no problem I could be in the clubs next thing you know that was my life again and I suffered again so I say humbly to all you guys on this Earth you will not be able to be victorious until you make it a point to submit yourself unto God then you can resist the devil then he will flee you will not receive all the rewards that God has for us in Heaven until you draw near to God submit yourself down to God walk in the fruits of the spirit allow your light so shine before men so they will see your good works and glorify your God which is in heaven because when it's all said and done it's one thing is certain it's two things that are sure I'm gonna say it like we would say there's one thing for certain there's two things for sure God knows your heart you'll lie to me you can lie to yourself you can really lie to yourself really if you really want to you can really convince yourself whatever you want to convince yourself the brain is the strongest muscle that we have in our body you can convince yourself whatever you want you can forget stuff you can block stuff out you can dream stuff and think it really happened so you can trick yourself into thinking anything you want if you're not led by the holy spirit of God the enemy could put all kind of stuff in your mind to confuse you but you cannot fool God knows the secrets of all of our hearts and all of us me included have to make sure that each day we are seeking to live a life that glorifies God that glorifies team Jesus so that people will see us in the okay yeah it doesn't matter to me what you say about what I did six months ago eight months ago a year ago a year and a half ago five years ago 10 years ago just using this for an example it doesn't matter what I did back then what matters is what I'm doing today and where my heart is today beloved who you with whose team were you on I pray that the answer to that is Jesus Christ in closing let us pray father we thank you for the opportunity to come together and share in your word we thank your Holy Spirit for Illuminating to us the truth of the Gospel we ask father that the holy spirit will move through all of us that call on your name that the spirit of God that is on the inside of us that the spirit of heaven will bear witness with that spirit that will your children that we need to grow that we need to submit and humble ourselves unto you we love you we thank you for your grace and your mercy we thank you for this opportunity to
