Who Can Build the Best Train Track Switching Vehicle? (Scrap Mechanic Gameplay)

welcome ladies and gentlemen back to multiplayer monday and today we're driving all right derail the train who put this in the middle of the track if only i could switch to this open track on the right that was really easy i guess that's the challenge wait you didn't get extra seats for us man hold on we need extra seats give us give us the extra seats there we go yeah there we go there we go you guys gotta like you guys gonna like clap your hands to initiate blinkers when i was switching to the other tracks left switch this is the challenge we need to build something that could that can do this that can do this thing yep yeah yeah so yeah track switching vehicles um what are the are there any restrictions besides no thrusters no glitches uh no thrusters no glitches you have to switch tracks um and you can't um you can't drive yeah you can only move if your vehicle's on the tracks you can't so it doesn't have to be a train because you know you could just ride on the tracks with like a single wheel if you wanted to but if your wheel slips off the track then you have to stop driving until you you fix it and then we have a course on the tracks only all right yeah and then we're gonna do the time trial thing again because it kind of works and uh fastest person through the course wins make sure you include two extra seats for your compadres uh yeah yep yep and uh we got a whole a whole assortment of creative and fun obstacles to uh motivate our track switching yeah pretty much i mean you know it's pretty easy and of course if you screw up an obstacle you have to go back before the obstacle same as we did you know before yeah you know pretty simple stuff start on the right track all right make your way through good luck yeah so uh everybody find a spot we're all going to the i'm going over here yeah as if proximity matters right are we ready uh yeah yeah we're just doing like a okay [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] all right guys let's see your track switching track switchers wait is this technically the derailing challenge oh no hold on no no no no hold on i had a comment that talked specifically about this okay and they said it depends on perspective from the trains perspective it derails but from the rails perspective it detrains yeah so that's true think about it so it's if you're the train you're derailing if you're the rail you're detraining that's the so we're going to be derailing and then re-railing re-railing unless you're the rails and then you're de-training and giving the train to your other brother to retrain and retract okay all right who's going first took the longest build here so we'll just bring this over here so this is my track what is this bad boy right here so i need my hammer because it requires a manual original stuff what is going on let me put it on the tracks actually okay so there was like a million things i thought he could have spawned this was not that was not one of them oh my god you're on both track okay so we're going that way first which means i need to get my hammer here okay yeah what do you how do you okay and then i just hit it i have to just knock this over wait before you start before i start there it goes is this falling okay i see what's happening so obviously i'm on both tracks right now right yeah well how do you know how do you get around those so i just bring up the left side like that what wait you're gonna hit the wall um yeah i kind of bounced off of it a little bit you're definitely gonna but there's like other stuff too yeah that's taller oh no we'll be fine i'll be fine okay don't worry about it okay how do you switch so we'll drop this back down right yeah yeah and then i press this oh my god and then just kind of toss this weight over to the other side like that and then i pick up this side this is amazing and then it goes you're definitely gonna hit the wall on that side you're over you're over the track on that side well it's it's the same on both sides isn't it i don't it doesn't seem like it no it will be the same on both i don't i don't know if you're to make it around the walls i mean all right i think we'll find out we'll find out on exactly the next episode that is this is the craziest thing i've ever seen i was not oh it works though it works it took a lot of like this was originally on a controller the big counterweight was on a controller but it was causing huge problems so i ended up just like moving it on loose bearings instead and it works way better i have more control wow this is i i was not i was expecting props for originality on that one yeah i i tried i don't know if it's gonna help in the long run but uh i don't get the originality points we'll find out all right so uh my original design was kind of like mumbo's um i thought of having like a thing that basically making a slab and then having it flip completely over onto the other track except instead of doing it like side by side doing them like 180 degrees of each other but then i i had the issue where the counterweight like mumbos would have had to be huge so instead of doing that i went with something a little simpler um and then i also felt plungers were underrepresented in our multiplayer series so i added 82 um yeah 82 plungers just uh so anyway you can sit on the back it's a pretty simple mechanism though so i just go like over right with like half and then i put them down and then i just you know let my my thing go over move it all yeah and then i just go back down and then i just pick this up and i just keep trying oh yeah oh oh not bad run around yeah okay that's it that's all it is it's not you know it's hundreds it's pretty pretty simple stuff just over it looks like it works works relatively easy i had to keep the pistons slow if they're too fast it gets kind of jerky when it when it does across so it is a little slow but at least you know it works and then you know very reliable very reliable very clean very smooth uh and uh plungers of course we had uh you know plungers yeah i'm seeing now adding those train bogies was pointless yeah i didn't need the train bars yeah i had those i have those two don't worry yeah i didn't i didn't need them i was thinking more like the uh the rail trucks that you see the guys drive up in you know they put their truck up they don't they don't use the bowies they just have like a wheel the front wheel back um if we had done this with thrusters i would have i would have had it flip over onto the other track but the the counterweight i didn't want to have mumbo's size of counterweight yeah that's my concern all right scratch let's see it so i have a very similar one to you but i use the outside of the track instead of the inside of the track so here's mine here let's see there we go that's on the track all right yep so mine yeah i just gotta reach out to the side like that i put it down and then i press these at the same time do we ever stop i don't know you'll never stop this is the worst expectation yeah i know it literally is rate on our video is going to be trash just because it has to constantly go up and down um but yeah i feel like it works pretty reliably and it's a little sketchy sometimes it seems like it's going to go through the track but it usually works i can't believe you put bogeys that's crazy all right guys i've made my piston adjustments i'm a little faster going across i don't think i'm as fast as scrap man but it'll be it'll be all right um timer is when i guess the cart goes across the finish line is that that's pretty much yeah when you are all the way through the finish line i will stop the timer all right good luck all right i'm sorry okay saying goodbye are you ready uh yeah in three two one go all right don't fall off of the first corner that's the embarrassing yeah fall off of the woody embarrassing little bouncy okay look i'm going to deploy this so early because oh wow why not right why not here you go there you go i could have like even i don't even know why i'm going all the way to the wall to switch you can be like way far back yeah you can switch whenever you need to yeah really yeah that was good i'm gonna just switch as soon as i get onto the straight i think you're not even yeah i'm not even oh we got the cows we got the power and that just yeah who's building all this stuff in the middle of a track i don't know right like what idiots right and they clearly put the track down first like notice the glass wall don't get confused thinking you can what objective you can just keep going just keep going i can see the track right up ahead of you in the way this is actually going pretty good i find this yeah this is actually really smooth this is fast shaky yeah if you get too quick it gets sketchy i don't yeah especially in the corner i'm not very heavy oh yeah all right i've noticed that they're consistent that's an explosion right there this one oh i should have deployed this early season all right get that back okay and then like look instantly like put it back out right oh yeah there you go look at that now i'm learning this is the problem with going first everybody learns the strats and then wow i don't think my thing is going to work like years ago oh i thought you were out there just bouncing we're just bouncing oh watch out slippery floor in the middle of the track before gotta avoid this and uh there we go look at that you don't you don't you don't want to know what happens if you ignore that sign no yeah you'll slip that's what yeah okay okay um yeah if you do fall off the course the pulse if you fall off the course you cannot spawn ahead of where you fell off no so if you fall off on a turn you're gonna have to go back before the turn because yeah look at that perfect all the plungers confused you right you can't tell i actually can't get into my seat because of all the plungers all right i'm just gonna put this out yeah why not right uh anybody need to use the battery this is what this one's made for you we are we need your plunger assistance for the bathroom here toilets oh this is a skateboard oh there we go oh i'm surprised you suspension be a good thing on these wheels like i have no idea i feel like it could actually smooth out the bumps baby all right i've never thought about suspension on a train is that even a thing uh yeah there's got to be suspension on train they have the big coils i'm sure it's very very stiff but i'm sure it exists pretty sure every like man-made vehicle has some sort of except like bobcats bobcats don't have suspects they're just watch out for the shack oh yeah the shack looks like he's trying to sell me something if you want to uh if you want to stop get a snack on the way you know i'm kind of hungry could we uh wait you can we're going to keep going though that's just the are we there yet no we're not hurt explosive wall here all right we're going to round two on the explosive wall look at that go like this oh do mumbo if you hit an explosive wall with your vehicle it's going to be you know all right mumbo has to go last he does have to go oh i have a backup i have a backup of the world it's fine i know i i okay if you want to go last though mumbo i think it might be fun to uh to wait for that anticipation i don't i don't think he's gonna blow up on on that wall though it was pretty low no i mean you would have to be a fool hey hey hey hey hey hey hey that was a hay bale over there oh i thought you actually were trying to get me to stop i feel like you've really refined your technique that was so good is there there's one more yeah there you go you can't see it yet and that's the end oh there it is all right you were at five minutes and 14 seconds no that wasn't that bad i thought that was pretty good yeah all right guys i'm going next we're gonna save mumbo for the big finale here because uh that's i think that that it's deserving of that finale we honestly let's be real we're gonna have to probably demolish like half the sides of each other uh okay here we go i got a stopwatch are you ready scrap man i am ready time to beat is five something here we go in three two one start all right all right i'm not going to take it easy on the first turn don't fall off my first turn i don't want to fall off on the first turn because i'd be super embarrassing all right there we go oh yeah okay all right all right so far so good all right now it's not the first turn anymore i can open up the throttle a little bit that's true oh a little bit of a bouncer oh yeah all right watch out for the pesky cows on the track um i just gotta get my butt and just remember my buttons that looks good yeah all right that was the wrong button speaking of remembering yeah that's not the oh my i almost got caught on the other track there you go all right here we go i was like why is mubo coming up into view and then i realized like on this stupid teeter totter we're recycling cycling i was like why is this a freaking name in the way like what is this man this balancing is yeah it's pretty bouncy there it goes maybe because we have too many things on the track i don't know all right watch out for that i just think it does that's just the nature of scrap mechanic in the tracks see one of us could have just made a jumping vehicle and just jumped out every single obstacle yeah that would totally work it would have worked great oh the switch happens there you go man you are you go you're very fast i'm very feeling a good time isn't it feels real yeah i i just feel like one little bump though and i'm i'm off and that's good oh like that like that back before the corner yeah you gotta go words like the power of the way as soon as you say something that's it oh your gums oh i i was so far around the bed i gotta walk so far that was a bad one that was a bad spot yeah okay that's the worst we just should never say anything about falling off on camera i know that's right okay oh my god why is this corner still about a bad corner i don't know it just okay you can't even see the logic ticking until you're like an inch away and then you can see it actually doing a spiral oh my goodness the bounciness now i like don't want to go fast anymore i feel like we made light vehicles too rather than like i did yeah [Music] there could be a difference there that's true yeah um the lighter stuff i feel like is bouncier yeah all right that's that's pretty good the corn wall watch out for the yeah i'm surprised honestly no one grabbed the cow from the pen and then just went through the yeah i was thinking about building the whole crane mechanism but i ran out of time just at the last minute yeah it's fair oh yeah yeah oh my god oh oh oh no no no no okay there you go perfect oh my god those are those are honestly so much time the biggest time waster yeah if you fall off it's huge that is okay here we go all right that's good i'm very concerned about how fast you are there's still a lot yeah i don't know that was a lot of time lost yeah i think if he doesn't fall off though he's still gonna have a really good time i think that's the key there you go i mean aren't we all having a really good time to be honest yeah it's great i i feel like this time has been really up and down for me you know what i mean just been a real it's been a real uh a real balancing act if you will whoa i'm teetering on my seat with excitement okay i'm out of puns now all right i mean to be honest like i said you guys play a pivotal role in this area all right it's straight i think i feel like the straight track is uh where i'm gonna be where i'm gonna really makes it make up some time here but that's not right there's oh yeah yeah yeah good one he's crafting those jokes aren't you i'm crafting so many good jokes i've really refined my material if you know what i mean wow yeah i feel like i really don't ever find it you know uh-huh there you go all right another turn last turn i'm not even gonna like it's not even worth taking the risk yeah i i don't know man it's still is still gonna be a really good time if it's just bouncy it is very bouncy i think we're too light i think me and you went too light and that was the issue yeah maybe i mean i got concrete bogeys but there here we go all right here he comes the time to beat was five minutes and 14 seconds oh my god you got to be kidding me right you got five minutes and 12 seconds oh literally two seconds i cannot believe that that is so close if one of us had fell off one more time yeah it was one fault we had the same number of falls it was like the same run wow one fall away it would have been all the difference that's crazy all right mumbo it's your job to show us what a real track switcher is all about here yes that's exactly what's about to happen yep are you ready yeah i'm ready all right here we go three two one start okay so first obstacle let's see if i go buy it oh my goodness does it work are you using a motor to straighten them back out or something oh it's on steering wow yeah oh so they just naturally will try and go back straight even though they they have exactly yeah that's actually really smart yeah it works pretty well so here we go we're dropping down all right we're going up oh my gosh past the brick head the brick over we're bringing that side up and we're gonna keep on going yeah just flipping that i cannot believe that the timer is going right scrap man i do yeah okay i was just like i was like i wasn't timing dude this works so much better than i thought it was going this is actually going way faster than i expected i got to be honest and his is so stable on the tracks like it doesn't bounce it's true at all like it can't bounce out like ours we wow this is this is amazing this is actually amazing he could do it while he's driving he doesn't even care oh oh oh yeah wait you got to just jump down a little bit yeah slow it down a little bit there and we're just gonna drive on through you were on the track you were on that side but you got to spawn past the opposite hole yeah you just got to spawn the past the obstacle that's fine you don't have to what's that yeah you can just spawn right in front of the glass you're basically passing like on this side yeah you're basically past it all right i can't fall off the track anymore yeah you're good oh boy oh boy oh my god i can't believe he balances a giant brick with the entire second trolley right like yeah i'm surprised this is working oh no i'm going to hit this oh just go slow just go over them i think i'm going to go oh no this one you have yeah yeah that's good the big ones though the big explosives you might have some trouble yeah that's true look at this i love this handing the brick over all right like so oh my god that looks so sketchy it's very sketchy wow can you imagine if something like this existed in real life like how how many people would just question its safety oh yeah well we have these train tracks you see but when another train comes we have to switch tracks so we just move the train over oh there we go i'm okay i'm okay oh i didn't even think about it you probably can't even have both down what is going on what is happening it jumped off no that was so weird i don't understand what just happened i i feel like i have like a weird oh like this why does this keep resetting the wrong way all right no problem i guess if if i could reset my weight faster than it would be this would be a good creation yeah the uh the the jumping uh slamming wait to start is kind of an interesting it's like one of those old planes that you have to spin the prop up you know this is like it's the same kind of deal oh my god oh violet it's because i have to pull those pegs out of the tracks so it like rubs up against it for a moment it's funny though i'm not i'm not losing control on the turns good speed on the turns here comes the logical wall oh yeah oh yeah you'll see the logic any second there it is all right yeah there it goes all right it's gonna just come on oh he's doing it again the brick doesn't seem to want to lift there oh i'm getting i see what's happening i see why that's breaking now oh that's not good was it getting stuck on the track or no there's see how there's like a lip on my concrete weight there yeah that's what's happening oh no you're past the obstacle again though so you can keep going oh and you're already set up to avoid the bat wow i guess that's the beauty of being on both tracks at once correctly now i'm just gonna oh i think your wheels are just gonna slow oh my god oh my gosh he's like he doesn't care i'm just gonna go would you just see babe i have no choice i have no choice there you go there it is all right that looks clean all right just make the switch now yeah and watching the wheels turn around the obstacles is like strange oh you put it down on the other side oh i pressed the wrong button didn't i yeah yeah oh my god this hammering part is the thing that's like just ruining it i mean among other things that's the thing right there yeah all right all right now there we go yeah i must i pressed the wrong switch didn't it's going to be interesting to see how your wheels interact with the others spinning i think i just got to go slow like i did you know just nice and slow yeah maybe just nice and i think you'll be fine they actually like spin them over for you just roll over it that's perfect okay i'm gonna try and do one without stopping now i'm just gonna go uh i don't know if you're gonna have traction yeah there isn't on this one this is a this is not a long straight line oh don't go too much yeah the awning is gonna get you i did that too soon oh i'm okay we're just gonna go roll over oh my goodness oh that was so good oh my goodness this is amazing you know it's it's working it's not fast but it's working this is actually like you're gonna have trouble with for some reason the only thing we uh we did is make sure they don't go past the ties but they're still they give you whatever height i think it'll be fine am i gonna go oh no he's gonna hit it yeah this was the one that i thought was going to give you some trouble here just gotta put it in front of it that's fine all right here we go this is looking good now i'm gonna try and do it without stopping this is a good spot right yeah no more bailing down yeah you get it because of the hay built we just passed the hay bale no no i get it and then we do that i'm pretty crafty this whole episode i know yeah yeah trying to stay original too there we go crafty and original yeah i think those don't have collisions and then we drop that down you know i feel like this works better when you keep moving and then i tell you this actually this is actually really impressive yeah you're the only one that could have i could keep moving while you're doing it yeah that's wow you did it you did this whole rail while moving yeah and so i think i'm just going to switch right now actually i think i have to switch anyway so i might as well yes you do oh no no i'm pressing the wrong button you're like balanced yeah see how it might okay just go back down just go back down yeah i'm pressing my other button too soon oh yeah i see how that works oh my god that was amazing though there we go all right i think you got the home stretch i'm going to get the timer ready to hold down w i think you're actually going to dodge the tote blocks too completely yeah yeah pyramid vape right yeah but like they're so far in on the track though like yeah there it is like one block clearance there all right and close i'm gonna put them all down close and stop oh right all right so uh the time to beat was what 5 12 for first place in first place well there's still you didn't beat 512 but there's still hope because if you beat 514 in the second place yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah you split the box good job your time was 12 minutes and 14 seconds ah i was so close almost did it man almost did it you know i think that the problem was mumbo it was all those times that you fell off the track that was yeah like just like with us if he just didn't fall off one of those times he would have made up one of those that extra seven minutes oh yeah all right ah that was out mobo wins the originality award though that was uh yeah i was not excited it's a lot of fun to just pass this block back and forth honestly you know it's a lot of fun to do that so are we are we doing vertical pendulum racing with trains next where we have to have a vertical pendulum on our train yeah congratulations mumbo oh all right at least some suggestions for future multiplayer monday
