Which direction should your home face?

[Music] I would say that's a very stupid question everybody's gonna have a different answer but I'll try to give you an idea of what we think about in all four East facing a house you get a really nice morning sunlight by two o'clock in the afternoon the house is shading the backside and then it's pretty nice back there on the patio without a lot of extra heat or direct sunlight a west-facing house you're probably gonna want sunsets very very nice you're gonna get beautiful views of the Sun however that afternoon Sun can be very warm and sometimes overbearing on a patio or even in a living room that has a lot of glass so facing gonna get great sunlight all day it's gonna rise in the east and coming up set in the West and you're gonna get a fair amount of sunlight all day depending on the vegetation that's on a lot north-facing gonna be very nice as well because we can control the light inside the house very well it's going to be fairly constant and some light and gloomy your days aren't going to have a much effect on the interior of the home as it might if it's in one of the other three directions it's a little bit of look for [Music]
