[Music] when I was 5 years old I went to go feed the Homeless with my auntie and my cousins and when I saw how they lived with rats and with sleeping bags on the concrete it really made me sad it made me want to do something about it and blessing bags was [Music] it project I am is an organization I started at the age of 8 years old to build awareness of homelessness and provide temporary support to those in need out to shelter the last time you guys saw me I was 10 years old and now I'm 16 years old I'm a junior at Kiri high school project I am has evolved over the years by me now being able to impact over 135,000 men women and children across the world raising over a half million dollars for my homeless initiative today we are celebrating the 8year anniversary of project I am in the blessing bags are the toy items like the soap tissue socks the hand sanitizer condition lotion the daily Essentials that we're going to be giving out nbk has helped my organization ever since I got recognized by President Barack Obama they've given donations to a fun project I am's virtual packing parties um I would never would have been able to do it without them so I'm very appreciative when I see other kids doing this is very encouraging and to know that I'm inspiring others this makes me want to keep doing this even more even though I'm not the biggest fan of those old videos with my squeaky little voice I hope that influences any other young children and makes you feel like you can go out and do it young people don't have to wait until we're adults to be change agents or start our own business cuz they can do it right now
