What's Torey Pudwill's Board Setup?!

the people want to know tori we're talking about skateboards right now what is your board setup do you have what do you ride what's your wheels what's a board do you have any like weird madness setting up the boards do you have to have little washers in places and or do you just set it up and go do you have boards for certain tricks like well we obviously know that raj but uh what's your setup what do you got what are you riding right now i keep it pretty pretty mellow dude i mean you know if it ain't broke don't fix it yeah but uh i i ride uh like a custom shape okay that's my magic you got you had your own special board my board is an inch shorter than uh what you would normally see an eight inch board as oh interesting so was it like a 31 inch i don't know i don't know i just know it's an inch shorter okay because they're usually like 32 you don't have you don't have any production though not my board no well it works for trump what what size board is it works for me eight inch deck oh eight inch okay eight inch deck yeah um i've only ridden you know seven seven five and eight inch i've never gone bigger except for the back tail where you did eight two five that's true yeah i did yeah for sure but you know that was a one-off yeah that was the one sometimes the hardest trick you you do you do it all yeah i could have done it on my boy i just wanted to make it easier so you got the eight inch board an inch shorter what else do you got you know obviously got the grizzly grip tape got the grizzly especially formulated grip tape you know got you know our own grittiness on there okay do you need the beer on the left side of the right side of your board right side because a regular foot oh yes right side okay are you goofy guys you know we do have it on on the uh left side yeah your foot doesn't cover it you have grip there when you're doing a flick so uh i got the venture trucks i've skated for adventure for over 10 years now um i do skate uh five five point two five highs okay uh v hollows so super light so hollow axle hollow kingpin yeah more pop and lots of leverage on that too the high ones yeah i know i heard higher trucks make you ollie higher yeah your tail hits the ground later yep it for you that's what that's what professor schmidt told me right he's he's he's one to listen to he knows he's one to listen to the reason why i skate high trucks though so the kingpin don't hit on my backsmith yeah it makes sense dig into the concrete yeah uh and then uh i don't i don't alter my bushings or anything i just keep it stock stock bushings um i got uh 50 where am i 52s now is that a bump up did you just skate 50s 50 ones i mean over the years yeah 50s it was 52s i tried the 53s this wasn't into that one millimeter too big so i'm rocking with the 52s ghetto little child wheels hard nice that's tight i'm gonna keep a good thing down um you know get our child made its comeback yeah three three years ago now i think yeah that's so sick that's right about musca um and then i got my andale bearings and bearings aka on delay on delay on delay swiss which um tell you the truth man the bearings like those swiss bearings really change the game for me those on delay swiss like it makes the trick smoother man straight up wasn't lying you could look at my underlay commercial i say it in there okay i wasn't just saying it i wasn't i was actually like i'm serious the andale swiss bearings literally yeah they're good they're they're good they're very good tricks smoother though i don't know that's interesting diamond hardware uh but no because you know like the little gold ball on the left okay okay seven eighths on one inch seven eight seven eighths for sure it's less screwing raj you can just see that little one so you got the you got the support you got the bear and the indicator bolt oh the gold bolt the indicator the indicator you got the bear and the indicator bolt oh yeah are you using spacers uh in your wheels no i've never used i never use what does it do all right if you think about it so when you like screw your your uh your axle nut down whatever it's pressing on your bearing or whatever that spacer or whatever now it becomes like one long piece and so now the ball bearing can actually spin on the wheel but if you're like basically um if you crank if you don't have that space or anything you're cranking it down your wheel is not going to like roll that well but if you have a spacer in there it's still going to keep on going because you're crushing it a little bit as you're as you're tightening it i always tighten it really really tight and then loosen it up yeah you probably like your [ __ ] like loose back and forth yeah that's right like if you're if you're like if you're actually slips right and you have like actual slip the other day if you have washers on either side and you have that spacer in the middle your wheel will still keep rolling interesting okay really yeah it's there for a purpose i've never used them i don't know use your spacers kids really [ __ ] yeah they work i'm gonna use them next four i'm gonna put on tomorrow i just set up a [ __ ] brand new board too people people always like oh it adds more weight to your board like no dude it helps you [ __ ] keep rolling i popped the shields off my bearings i do the same yeah just asking for more problems no but it's nice it just sounds nicer and it sounds nice but at the same time like you're your wheel your bearings will break down faster because now dirt's getting in there well we get them for free raj so yeah i hear you guys yeah i've had my bearings last time i have a [ __ ] little [ __ ] bones cleaner and i clean my bearings all the time clean them all the time every time you can't get a hold of roger dude it happens a lot bearings happens a lot he doesn't never responds to my text so i'm like well he must be cleaning his bearings so that's your that's your setup you you don't have anything you need to have something a certain way you kind of ride like a little stock standard [ __ ] yeah nothing's gotta be a certain way man i mean no you've got the red bull sticker on the nose and on the head yeah just kind of keep it tradish dude i mean you know like i got that much time to be too picky about it yeah it's so interesting i kind of just gotta like set it up and like it so that way i
