- (Speaker) What's the most damage you can do in Minecraft. So mumbo jumbo covered this four years back, but since then and especially with the new 1.16 update we can deal a lot more damage than what he talked about. And today we're going to see just how much pain you can cause your enemies and your friends in this one. And a, the YouTube wizards. Let me know that the deadly subscribed monster only has one HP left. So hit it with a final strike down below it's free and it helps out a ton. So with any good experiment we got to get ourselves a control. I mean, in that case I guess we should talk about snowballs first, I guess for the sake of being thorough. These are an attack, but really you're never going to use these if you want to do an assassination job because as everyone knows these deal no actual red damage to your friend, all they're good for is just a few giggles in a winter Wonderland. They're not going to be using them for anything serious. Unless you've got a blaze farm, in which case sure they do actually deal some real damage but until your friend gets made out of fire these aren't going to make the list because anyone from a Minecraft newb to a pro knows that the real baseline in Minecraft is the unarmed hit or better known as a punch with a fist now for what it is, it does just fine. It deals one point of damage. And if you're a fast clicker you can get that to add up pretty well. That is only if they're not wearing armor because as soon as they started to put on some kit you're actually not going to do any damage to that diamond set. And you're better off putting that fist to a better use such as with a diamond sword. Now, obviously there are other swords and I'll put their damage numbers up on screen in case you're curious, but all of us know that if you're going to make a sword then really you're going to be spending two diamonds in a stick as opposed to anything else. And the reason is is that this is a good pick. Even un-enchanted, you're getting seven damaged points per hit out of this thing, which is pretty decent but obviously we can push further. And even with those diamonds if we turn those two diamonds into three diamonds then all of a sudden we've got a diamond ax and that's going to be dealing nine damage per hit. Sure. It does have a slower attack speed than the sword but if you're only getting one hit off anyways then this is your better pick. It might be a little bit more expensive but the extra punch the pack with this is definitely worth your while. But if you're sick of diamond, then you're in luck because the new update brings with it, new materials. And if you look at the change logs for the new update or you've looked at any videos about 1.16 then you've definitely heard the diamond is now dethroned as the best material in Minecraft. Ambula might be tempting to make a snazzy netherite sword ASAP don't get ahead of yourself because you see with one of these, you're only dealing about eight damage making it a half step between a diamond sword and diamond ax. The real trade secret is that you want to save up your netherite. Because just like the diamonds we're going to do a lot more damage with the ax. This year is no joke because for every hit that we get off of this thing we're going to be dealing a solid 10 points of damage which will clear out half of an unarmed person's health bar. And sure, netherites, it's hard to come by but if you're going to be making a weapon then this is what you should be looking at. And obviously I'd be remiss if I didn't mention enchanting because it's such a game changer for damage. So for that case I did reevaluate all these weapons with the maximum damage enchantment, sharpness five, and will, this did make some of the stinkers of that bunch, a lot more viable. I was still shocked to see that it's not even worth your while for some of these cases they're still going to be outclassed, after all why waste all your time Getting the diamonds netherite and levels necessary for that, for all that same effort you could just brew a harming two potion and get even more damage. I mean, serious, a direct splash of a harming two potion deals, 12 damage, which is more than both a sharpness five diamond and netherite sword and puts it on par with a sharpness five diamond ax. Now clearly potions are much more disposable than an actual weapon, but again if we just have one window of opportunity this is going to do the trick and be a lot easier to come by. Then some fully enchanted netherite. Luckily when we put sharpness five on a netherite ax then it puts it all to rest 13 hit points of damage. And that's even without all the bells and whistles that we can tack on and we'll get to those later because that's right, folks, we haven't even touched on critical hits yet because you see laying in a critical hit with one of these things, bumps the damage up from thirteen, all the way up to 18 hit points of damage and for an extra five points of pain it's definitely one a hundred percent worth the time to jump and strike on the downswing. I know it's easy to be lazy and stay planted on your feet but for that much of an increase, I'm going to say hit the space bar and do it this way. It's so much more bang for your buck and better yet. For some real pain we can throw a shrink to poach and into the mix whether that's through a beacon or a physical drink and that's going to get us into overkill territory with this flowing through your system. If you hit the critical hit, just right, expected to deal 27 points of damage on your fo. That's no joke folks. And it easily lets you dismantle any newbs and scrubs that come your way. If that's how you like to spend an afternoon. Or if you'd rather keep some distance between you and the riffraff then you should know that bows can still deal out Plenty of hurt. I mean, even just a plain old power five bow is set to do 18 hit points on average. Although that's the key phrase here on average. Since factors such as slow down in a 25% critical hit chance can skew the data. But even then on average, expect to nearly wipe out that poor suckers life bar and with the occasional chance to just kill them suddenly it's definitely nothing to sneeze at. And of course we don't have to settle for just one former ammunition because since 1.9 we've been able to infuse our arrows with potion effects allowing for some extra damage. And that extra damage is no better demonstrated than by a power five bow with a harming two arrow. This piece can put up around 32 points of damage in a single go, which is nuts. Again, we're dealing with an average here. Results could vary by give or take five HP, but regardless that's a way to pack a lot of pain into your shots. Even if you're on the lower end clearly the harming perfect can put up some numbers on this list. So for the sake of being thorough, I should mention this the lingering potion, now see using a harming two lingering potion can hypothetically do 30 damage which is definitely significant but it's a little misleading because on the chance that your target stay still they don't keep getting hit by the DPS or damage per second making this overall a much less effective option. Don't get me wrong by promise with 30 damage is enticing but it's much less reliable than other picks on the list. And HEY speaking of unreliable. What if you want to throw every weapon we just talked about to the side and keep your hands clean? Well, you're in luck because as ridiculous as it may seem we can actually use miles and entities to finish the job here because trust me especially in hard mode, a lot of these are going to do the trick. I mean, take a vindicator. for example, while a simple pillager can pack a punch one hit from these guys can deal 19 points of damage. Just look at how it devastates a health bar. It's serious business folks. And honestly it makes me, I feel like I get no bang for my buck by using an iron ax, especially since it is an enchanted, I don't know what he's using but if you want to put that same iron to better use then the nano fill might be right up your alley. In peak conditions it's what we classify as a lethal option dealing up to 40 damage. But that's the thing you got to have those conditions just right, because if your target even has a helmet on that numbers getting decreased and folks don't even bother dropping it from less than 21 blocks. At that point, it's not even useful. Add on the fact that you got to have them be just stationary enough. And it's really not that good of a pick because really if you know, they're going to be standing still for a long amount of time, like maybe they went AFK then you want to hit them with a point blank creeper explosion. If you're on hard mode, these things can eat away 73 hit points that's overkill. And then some granted might be hard to control this detonation, especially cause creepers don't want to cooperate all that often. But getting those stars aligned can definitely pack a punch against your enemy Or if working with deadly monster divas isn't your style. Don't sweat it by killing a couple of those creepers or rating a desert temple you can get the TNT to get even more severe damage. For a point blank explosion with a block of TNT we're looking at 85 points of damage. Add on the fact that with a piece of coral fan you can dup TNT and we can see that TNT bombers are not going out of style anytime soon, even with a new update. If you're still not satisfied for explosions then don't worry because we can still push further and weirder with the damage that we deal because would you believe it, a point blank bed explosion does a heaping 97 points of damage to the fo. Although there are some clear drawbacks to this one. Obviously it only works if they're in the nether or the end. So they're safe in the overworld plus it's not fast to set up, especially if you want to barrier. So you don't die from that very same explosion. If you got the wool or string to do this then it could be good for an on the fly hit job. But really what we should be focusing on is these two for your assassination and weirdly enough there's actually a tie for the most powerful attack you'll find in the wild, but the good news is both of them we can recreate. First up we've got a point blank charged creeper detonation. Which causes enough pain to turn some heads and collect them too. 145 damage when hit on the spot, which is unquestionably going to finish the job on anyone. You throw its way For reference that's more than seven life bars wiped away in a second. Which I guess you could classify as overkill, but unless you've got to trident with channeling enchantment and a thunderstorm on hand, you're probably not ruling into very many charged creepers. At that point, you're better off just using an end crystal because those are actually craft able and they do the same 145 points of damage at point blank, just pack some of the city and place them down and they're going to finish the job. Don't even ask questions. But none of those are truly the strongest attack in Minecraft. Oh, no my children, the answer goes so much deeper and stranger than you probably think. And no it's not the kill command but props to you smart people in the comment section, I'm very proud. Because in actuality, it's this the TNT arrow launcher, affectionately titled The rail cannon. This side craft design monstrosity not only requires precision accuracy and timing but this thing can deal over 200 points of damage in a snap. I'm not kidding. This thing can one shot the Ender Dragon the Ender Dragon, ladies and gentlemen. I thought that speed runners were fast to killing the Ender Dragon. You see one shot with this thing. It's beautiful instant destruction, but let's be honest unless you're an evil genius Lex Luther type nobody is going to build this for a regular bow. I mean, just think of all the different components you got to build for this thing. The three axis arrow corrector, the beacon controller and a TNT stock piler it's just easier to use an end crystal, trust me it's going to save you a lot of headaches and it does a lot of work to, so to answer our question from the beginning what's the most damage you can do in Minecraft. Here are the results in order and these are the ones that are going to be overkill if they're not wearing diamond armor. And with that, make sure to one hit kill that sub button down below and have a good one. All right.
