They're the first Jordans, I think, that Nike ever made back in the day. And what's cool is that-- - They're so cool. - They are cool again. And people are selling these. These I think are the North
Carolina special edition that just came out a month or two ago. - They're so cool. - They sold out so fast
and I bought a pair on eBay for a lot more money than
what they originally cost. But I think it's worth it 'cause they're not just
North Carolina colors. These are What's Inside colors. - Oh yeah, they look so cool. - And so Lincoln's been
wanting to wear these since we've had them
for the last few weeks. But I told him all of his grades have to be As and Bs for him to do that. - I, okay-- - And he has not done that yet. - I am absent a lot. - No excuses. But today we have a
very, very special pair that's more special than these. If you remember back at
the Tesla Model Y launch, I was lucky enough to stand right in front of Elon Musk as he
brought out the Roadster. He brought out the Model X, the Model S, the Model 3, and then he rolled out the Model Y. And so all of the cars were there. Oh, and the semi-truck even came out. Everything was there. The craziest thing is he walked out and he was wearing the
coolest Tesla, custom Tesla, Air Jordan Ones that were black
and red with the Tesla logo. - I actually don't know
that much about the car, I just knew that, that event, lots of people were
talking about the shoes. And they were really cool. - That actually ended up
being the coolest thing. Because the Model Y
wasn't that much different than the Model 3, just has a little bit of a
bigger booty but that's it. Its kinda the same car. But the shoes, everybody
talked about the shoes. And I think somebody said, "Cool shoes!" And he's like, "Thanks." And then he did like this
really goofy, little dance. - [Man In Crowd] I like your shoes! (laughing)
(crowd cheering) - [Man Filming] Oh, so
many memes right now! - It was pretty funny. - Yeah. - So I had to get a pair of those shoes. And I went onto Instagram and found, well, where's my phone? (dial tone humming) Okay, and we've reached
out on Instagram to dmcustomsneakers and they were the guys
that actually made 'em. And what was interesting with the story is that a friend of
Elon Musk reached out to dmcustomsneakers and said, "I want a unique
birthday present for Elon." And so he took, I feel like I should just
bring the shoes out first. Let me bring the shoes out
and then we'll tell the story. - I'm so excited. - I just gotta get these shoes. We'll tell the story in a minute. (videotape screeching) Oh and it came with an SD card that they wanted to show us
what's inside of these shoes. (videotape screeching) (rustling) - Oh yes, yes! (beeping) (cheering)
(yelling) - (laughing) Look at 'em! What is this box? (tapping) (laughing) - Those are so cool! - These are amazing! - Oh and by the way, we bought these. We custom had them made. There were no special favors. Other than he took pictures
for me of them getting made. I paid full price for these. - Those are so cool. - Yeah, let's get them out of here. - Oh my! - (laughs) Oh my gosh, there's a door! (laughing) Look! Hey stop. - Oh, look at that Tesla logo. (laughing) - Are you kidding me right now? - Look at all the fur, there's like, fur! - There's actual fur. - Yeah! - On this part and on this part. And then, oh my gosh. And then it's like some
sort of snake skin on it. And then look at the laces. These are leather laces. - Leather laces and then
they're like, metal. - With a metal tip. - Yeah. - And then the Tesla logo right here. - Oh my. (gentle upbeat music) Those are so cool! - Oh my gosh, De Marco, De Marco. - I'm usually not a fan of red, at all. - Right, we don't do red, we don't do red. - No, we don't. - You can see these brake
calipers that say Tesla on them. I would've wanted them red. Those look killer! There's a team that we
strongly despise that is red. - Strongly, very. - And so we stay away from
red as much as we can. Like, our Tesla Roadster is blue. When we get the next Tesla Roadster, it's going to be blue, not red. All right so there is paper inside of here that keeps it sturdy
and strong right there. Keeps it in good condition and good shape. (gentle upbeat music) And by the way, they told me with Elon's and then the seven others, that's only eight in the world. This is one of eight in the world and he refuses to make anymore ever. - And guess who has
one of the eight shoes? Elon Musk! - And me. - And us. - No, me. - You said I could wear them. - How's your grades doing? - That-- mm. - Hm. I have something to show you. Something unique, to prove
