>> Hello, I'm Pastor Tim Sheets. For the past 10 years,
I've been studying angels. It's an assignment the Holy
Spirit has placed on my life and I've written
a couple books about it. But I want to go back today
to the first time that I was aware of angels. And I want to tell you
a supernatural story that actually happened to me.
I was about 10 years old. My dad was pastoring
a a small church at the time, and I did what
10 year old boys do. I got involved in something
I shouldn't have. A friend of mine
across the street from the church
had a motor scooter and I decided I would ride
that motor scooter when he wasn't home. So I fired it up
and I took off down the street. And of course, a 10 year old boy
is not supposed to do that. And I wasn't driving slow.
I was seeing what it would do. And I I took off
down the street and I got about halfway down
the street and a car backed out, not seeing me
right in front of me. And I hit the brakes
and I started to slide and skid through
and the next thing I knew, I was on the other side
of that car and I was shaking and scared
and and trembling. I just kind of coasted
a little bit, slowed way down and went around the block
and parked the bike. And I saw my dad, who never
came over to that neighborhood that I know of,
especially on foot. And I saw my dad
and I ran up to him and I told him
what had just happened. If you'd have gave me
a little more time, I probably would have
never told him. But I told him what I did. And he said, son,
I knew something was wrong. I was in my office studying, and Holy Spirit
put such a burden in me to begin to pray for you
that I got down beside my desk and I started
to pray, God, I don't know
what what's going on, but please take care
of my son. And he said then I got up
and I left my office and walked outside
and I'd been looking for you. And we went over, walked over to where I began
to skid, the skid mark. And the skid marks went
for probably 15, maybe 20 feet. And then there was
an interruption in the skid mark for another 10 feet,
and the skid marks continued. I don't to this day know
exactly what the Angels did, whether they parted that car or somehow picked me up and set me on the other side
of that car, I don't know. But I do know this. The angels of the Lord
who protect the people of God were involved as an old
Pentecostal preacher knelt down beside
his desk and said, God, please
take care of my son. And those angels
took care of me. It's the first time
I had the sense Angels really do protect us. They really do answer
our prayers, the cries of of our heart. So many today, I think, have some kind of
an awareness of angels, but maybe not in a practical
type of way in everyday life. But those of you that
become burdened for a son or a daughter or a loved one or anyone have the right
to sit down beside your desk or your your bed
and and say, Father, protect my kids and release
angels to protect them and see what God will do. See, deliverance is something
we are promised,deliverance from any circumstance. It could be
financial deliverance. It could be a deliverance from some kind
of a traumatic situation. But the angels, we are told
encamp round about us, they circle us. And when we pray
prayers of faith, the angels begin to connect
those prayers to a supernatural moment. They connect what we are
asking God for to answers. Angels answer prayers. We see that all
over the scriptures. Time after time, we see where
great patriarchs of days gone by prayed and God sent
an angel to answer the prayer. I suppose the most famous
might be Daniel. Daniel prayed that his people
were in terrible bondage and they needed deliverance
for 70 years. And he prayed
and God sent an angel. He sent Gabriel with an answer, and then he sent Michael another
archangel to help assist that. Why? Because a prayer
that went up before God was being answered
by an angel. Angels can assist you today. Some of you may have been
burdened over the years for this situation that. Some of
you may be burdened right now. It's just a fact of life.
Things happen. But I encourage you today
to believe the living God for a supernatural promise
that he has made. It's found in Hebrews chapter
one and verse fourteen. It said that angels
are ministering spirits sent to minister
to the heirs of salvation. We are the heirs of salvation.
Romans Chapter eight says We're heirs of God and we're
joint heirs with Christ. We are sons
and we are daughters. And angels are sent to minister
to the heirs of salvation. If you're a born again
Christian, you're an heir. You're a joint heir with Christ. And joint heir is the Greek
phrase sugkleronomos,
and it means an identical heir. We're identical heirs
with Christ. Well, Jesus had angels that
assisted him and protected him. And we also as heirs
have angels that protect us and they assist us.
So I encourage you today to ask the Father
and ask Lord Sabaoth, that's the Lord of Angel Armies,
Holy Spirit, ask him for
supernatural help today and send angels
to the situations of your life. It could be any situation, but I have a sense today
that there may be, as I'm talking whenever
you are watching this, that some of you are very
concerned about family members. Maybe it is a son
or a daughter that is a prodigal
away from God. Why not today? Let's pray and let's ask
God to activate angels that connect them
to supernatural times of deliverance and freedom. And he can bring them
to a place where there's an
awareness of who he is, and they can return
to Father's house. Maybe today you're in
a very dramatic situation where you just need a miracle. Angels help assist in bringing
miracles to our lives, just like happened to me
well over 50 years ago. And so today I pray, God, would you come and intervene
in the lives of those that are watching
this short little video made the sense and presence
of who you are come into wherever they are. May they know
this is a divine moment, that you, Lord,
have your you have their best interest in sight
and you will activate, by your supernatural
power, the angels of heaven, to assist them, protect them,
free them, set them free. Lord, assist
in great miracles, I release them
in the name of King Jesus. May the miracles
of heaven be released. May Angel armies be released
and bring awesome, dramatic, visible miracles to your people. I decree it in Jesus'
mighty name.
