At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles.

Literally, as I opened Reddit and see this near the top of my front page, I am in the middle of a convo on discord with a friend about a Civ VI achievement that requires a religious victory when Zoroastianism is your religion.
The concept of the devil (opposer) was borrowed from the Zoroastrians. It was less unsettling than a God who was responsible for both good and evil (Isaiah 45:7)
Yep and yet somehow a bunch of butt hurt, wilfully ignorant Christians will argue that the Bible is an original work created by God. Conveniently ignoring zoroastrianism, Paganism, esotericism, hermeticism, egyptian monotheism and Sumerian stories of creation all influencing it heavily... Modern religions are all ripped off from older source materials and altered to fit the time and requirements of the ruling class.
You want to believe in God or the all, you do you but organized religion is and always will be a scam for profit and control of perception and behavior.
You want to get as close to religious truth as you can then you need to study all the religions and find the common threads. The older the source material the better. Read the Vedas, the Mahabharata, the Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean, the Kybalion, etc.
Trying to be spiritual by studying one religion is like trying to paint using one color. You can rough in the shape but there's no detail and it doesn't look very good.
I don't think I could belong to a religion which doesn't have Christmas. Either that or a god with a hammer or a god with lightning.
I could totally believe in Ancient Greek Religion.
