Minecraft has a lot of villagers it has Tiger planes desert Savannah even Cherry boss wait there isn't a cherry blossom Village but what would one look like if it was added to the game inspired by the new 1.20 update I've used a combination of new blocks and some old ones to build a village that would fit the cherry blossom biome complete with houses from every profession let me show you when I began this project the first step was to choose my block palette all the existing Minecraft villagers have a unique set of blocks that represent their biome I wanted to do the same aside from the obvious Cherry blocks for which I chose Cherry planks and strip cherry wood I decided to add accents of dark oak and a neutral shade of stone bricks I also wanted to use the password set villagers typically used to connect each building to make sure I stayed on Fame I also needed to decide what I wanted to build there are 13 professions excluding networks and I wanted to build a make home for each of them I also added two new professions that I think would be a good fit for the biome which you will see later in the video as well as farms and the Village Center with my plan in place I was ready to get building I began with the center of the village where the Bell would be found I knew there should be a well so my design centered around that after a lot of iterations I had this fountain with an arch over the top made from fences and some little potted plants as decorations then I decided to map out the rest of the village I used a red wool so it would be more visible and added slots for 15 houses in varying shapes and sizes and that was when I made a very stupid decision I decided I wanted a lake in my Village and was quite sizable chunk of land that decidedly was nothing close to a lake so after a lot of pain and a lot of wasted time we have a lake I filled it with axolotls which somehow all turned out pink to be perfectly on theme and Bone milled it up to add vegetation why did I want to like you ask well I'm not really sure it was mostly just so I could build a bridge over the top which I didn't do so I guess it wasn't really a waste I built the bridge from a marbled pattern of dark oak and cherry wood and used this as a starting point to fill out all of the paths between each building which was the most boring part of the project by far but once it was done I could move on to the actual buildings and begin the first house this was where I actually had to decide how to design it I began with the roof building a frame out of dark oak that I could then fill with cherry stairs and blocks I added beams out of strip cherry and made the Ground full of stone brick walls that I mixed in with endocyte and Cobblestone for a nice texture ingredient chewy planks for the floor and I made shorter at a hanging Stone stating the profession I added stained gray Windows as well as some potted Planters decorations and here's what the final product looks like I decorated the interior too and although I think it's a little too stylized for naturally generated structure I really like it and I think it would add a lot of extra interest to a village if all the houses were decorated like this the building I just showed you was the first one I created which belonged to the Cartographer which is why I added the maps and disk on the higher floor for map making I tried to recreate a similar style in every build and giving each unique aspect of decoration which could identify it as a profession since all of the buildings are reasonably similar despite this I'll skip the tutorial and give you a basic rundown this is the stone Castle's house inside we can see a little work room as well as a pile of unmanned ore it also has an unexplored cave entrance which the villagers might be able to retrieve more of this or fund we have this house with an armor stand with loot for the player and a taller structure since it's Fanning off the side out of the hell it belongs to the armor there's also the first of my two unique builds up on the top of the hill the house belonging to The Beekeeper it has a glass Greenhouse for the Beast to live in with a miniature cherry tree as its main feature on the other side of the Hill there's another house with a little ore pile which belongs to the toolsmith it has another connected building with a differently sloped roof which is home to the weapons down by the lake we have some water-based professions this includes this Fisherman's house on stilts with a fish tank and stack of barrels by the fence this leather worker with a laundry line which I'm very proud of thus the clerics have some spelled to model after a witch's hat just flipped his house with a shooting range and this floor shop was a big flower the other unique profession I added there is also this librarian's house full of bookshelves the ship its house with a sheep in this butcher's house was a pig pen in this Farmer's house was a farm going along the Cliff face I only Built one of these Farms but I think it could be a very cute and viable option for villagers to help them spruce up a little they were boarded with cherry wood the only time I used the dark color in this build I added a different Cup on every tear I covered the water sources of the waterlogged trap doors now that we've covered all the buildings here's an aerial view of what this Village could look like it's probably quite unrealistic considering villages usually aren't spaced very well but I think it looks prettier like this what do you think I could have added do you think it fits in with the other villagers let me know in the comments below and let me know if you'd like to see me design a Bamboo Village too thanks for watching bye
