What If Iron Man Killed Thanos In Infinity War?

[Music] foreign what if events had unfolded differently what if tony stark managed to gain the upper hand on thanos at the very last minute killing him in avengers infinity war what if out of pure luck stark was able to do this and how would his actions change the mcu timeline if he was able to take out thanos during the final battle of titan with the guardians of the galaxy doctor strange and spider-man find out in today's highly requested fan fiction our story starts off almost like the original mcu timeline the mad titan has woken up after star-lord hit his face in becoming angered after he learned about what thanos had done to gamora after using her to get the soul stone thanos broke free going full rage mode on the guardians using the full powers of the infinity gauntlet he threw spider-man and mantis across titan like it was nothing thanos then turned his attention to the rest of the guardians of the galaxy using the power stone on star-lord drax and nebula rendering them unable to fight doctor strange summoned his magic but it was too late he watched in horror as thanos started using the stones to destroy titan's moon the timeline changes where dr strange uses all this magical force field around the planet's atmosphere buying iron man and the team time to have one last chance against thanos but the problem here is that doctor strange becomes vulnerable from the attacks because he is holding on the debris using the vish hat spell since the moon didn't fall on the planet chaos wouldn't happen all over the planet giving the heroes a small advantage to work together like they did at the start of the fight before thanos could even try to turn the tide spider-man watched on in shock seeing doctor strange using all of his powers he turned his head seeing iron man in need of help from thanos thanos like the original timeline uses a massive power stone blast from the gauntlet but it was deflected by tony's nanoshield in time tony summoned his nana blade cutting thanos in the face thanos turned his head putting his hand over the cut seeing blood pouring from it he smiled and was about to use the stones until spider-man swung in in time kicking thanos in the face it stunned the mad titan but it was just enough to distract him tony analyzed the situation knowing his blade could pierce through thanos skin he needed to open an opportunity up to jab it into his neck or at least that way there it would do some damage and maybe the final killing blow tony kept watching spider-man fighting with thanos until thanos used the stones on spider-man peter screamed in agony and this is when tony knew that he needed to strike now before it was too late thanos threw spider-man at tony but he dodged the attack and with a stroke of luck on his side he summoned a nanoblade from his arm in time thanos wasn't even able to react fast enough and before the mad titan could blink his eyes they rolled back as blood started gushing from the nano blade tony had stabbed it in thanos skull killing him thanos dropped to the ground lifeless and tony was shocked at what he did he couldn't believe that it was over just like that spider-man swung in seeing if he was all right and peter saw tony just looking at his hands with blood everywhere peter put his hand on iron man's shoulder and told him that they did it and that there was no other way tony ignored it from the shock that he was in and yelled strange's name he ran towards doctor strange seeing that he was so focused on holding up the moon from cracking and falling into titan's atmosphere doctor strange told tony that they needed to get out of there now and he would catch up with them soon after he deals with this problem tony ran to star-lord and helped him up as spider-man helped up drax and mantis star-lord called for nebula but she stood still near thanos's dead body she was sad her father died but also happy in a way that he didn't win in the end tony brought them into the guardianship and right before spider-man was about to get in he asked them what about the gauntlet they're going to need it but tony said there's no time for this now doctor strange became weak letting go of the moon in time he took the gauntlet from thanos and the moon crashed into the planet as iron man flew the ship off world things were going well for tony but the heroes at earth were dealing with similar issues like the original mcu timeline one by one black panther's army and the strength of captain america's team alongside thor they eradicated the black order and thanos's army of outriders after a highly intense battle since thanos didn't come to earth the heroes decided to destroy the mind stone shiri was able to regain consciousness from the previous attack with corvus glaive and vision entered the room with captain america black panther and wanda vision told wanda that thanos was still out there and even if they defeated his armies he was still a powerful threat to all life and with the mind stone destroyed at least all of his plans would be decommissioned captain america told wanda to be strong and she had a tear in her eye letting vision choose to destroy the stone for the greater good of the universe shiri had enough time and got most of the good parts from vision and destroyed the mind stone back on the guardian ship iron man spider-man and the guardians were floating in space the ship was silent and they didn't know if dr strange was still alive or not but they just watched tony had his head down but spider-man asked what the orange spark in the room was they were shocked to see doctor strange return coming out of the portal with the gauntlet in his hand star-lord was shocked asking how strange could wield such power by himself strange merely replied telling star-lord that he is the sorcerer supreme and only him alone is able to stay alive and wield the gauntlet without being destroyed by its raw power strange explained that the gauntlet can't be kept by anyone due to the powers and in the wrong hands they can have another thanos threat he felt like he was the only one out of everybody who was trustworthy of keeping the gauntlet and he told the team that he was going to take the stones and move them to different spots in the universe but he needed the mind stone first doctor strange asked if they were ready to return to earth tony agreed asking how they will return but doctor strange opened a portal to wakanda and he said that he was able to bring them back all along but he decided not to do it when they were fighting thanos since they had a good chance at defeating him iron man smiled but shook his head walking through the portal they walked through the portal watching vision on the table captain america was startled and wanda was in full rage mode but they ended up stopping after seeing that it was iron man and spider-man captain america asked how they were doing and if they were all right iron man smiled and told steve that they won they explained how they ended up killing thanos and told them that they were able to not only kill him but take one of the most powerful weapons from him more heroes like thor falcon and bucky walked into the room meeting the guardians of the galaxy and doctor strange thor asked strange what he would do with the stones and strange told everyone that they were going to need to listen to him and what he was going to do dr strange told captain america that they were going to need the mind stone if they didn't the universe without the stone could be overrun in the future to forces unimaginable dr strange had to use the time stone to get the mind stone back but thor explained to strange that vision is worthy of keeping the mind stone if he plans to spread them out through the universe he said that not only was he able to pick up his hammer but he was an important part of the avengers team strange agreed with letting vision keep the stone and he reversed time before the stone was destroyed grabbing vision before he was killed by the machine from shiri he stopped the time stone and everyone around him was shocked seeing that he was okay strange told the team that he would meet with them again soon and left into a portal with the rest of the infinity stones doctor strange brought the stones into different parts of the universe hiding them in secret locations and he would eventually bring back the soul stone and as he was there doctor strange tried to get gamora's life back but the exchange with thanos and the soul stone was permanent and it couldn't be done the heroes at wakanda were all together again but this time they weren't fighting like civil war things were different captain america told tony that they need to put their differences aside if they were on the edge of losing another battle like this because they kept their guard down steve said that the avengers were brought in for a reason and how they needed to be back and stronger than ever before so when the next threat arises they could be one step ahead of the game to defuse the situation steve extended his hand out to tony and tony took his hand reforming the avengers once again the avengers compound would be built earlier in the timeline with iron man and captain america leading the team the guardians of the galaxy would also become members of the team but would fight off world threats that would be reported into once they happened updating the heroes of what was to come the avengers soon learned about what other worlds were like and the plans and who were running it tony was able to get a wide view of what was out there and what needed to be built to keep earth safe during the ending of ant-man and the wasp scott lang wouldn't be stuck in the quantum realm due to the snap never occurring in the timeline tony wouldn't have died in avengers end game meaning that he would be alive with peter parker during the 5 gap spider-man far from home wouldn't have happened because tony was alive mysterio was unable to trick iron man with this fake drones giving spider-man and iron man an easy win over mysterio early in the timeline falcon and the winter soldier along with wandavision don't happen in this universe since vision is alive and well but with no snap happening the world wouldn't go into chaos rendering the movement in falcon in the winter soldier agnes would still find a way to fight the avengers but she would be defeated by wanda and thor as the avengers returned and any threats would be stopped immediately spider-man becomes the iron spider foley and he would be a huge help to the team in the future hulk would stay the same not becoming the smart hulk since thanos was defeated and he wouldn't feel guilty leading him into staying as regular hulk once the avengers thought that all was finished a silver streak burned the sky moving faster than anything the world saw iron man caught it on his radar telling the other avengers that something in the sky was moving fast the light in the sky was getting brighter and brighter iron man thornhulk got out of the avengers compound and looked in the sky seeing a man floating and it was none other than silver surfer himself silver surfer said that the earth has only 48 hours left before the world devourer himself conquers it tony was shocked and told thor to go after silver surfer but he was already gone they were puzzled and didn't know who it was until a man with white robes walked into the room hulk was shocked and ready to smash but tony said not to engage in a fight this man in white robes explained that he was the watcher and he has seen many things in other realities even thanos and god emperor doom they didn't know who dr doom was but they listened carefully to what the man had to say the watcher told tony that his actions of killing thanos all those years ago has resorted into a chain reaction of events where galactus feeds and awaiting to eat earth the watcher left the avengers with a warning telling them to get ready tony wasn't able to say something and the men ended up leaving iron man went onto his comb link and told the avengers to assemble and that is going to be what if iron man had killed thanos in infinity war this has been crazy i'm finally back doing what if fan fictions like i'm finally voicing them it's been way too long i think it's been since like that what if black panther had snapped so it has been a while but i am back and i have been doing a ton of requests and a lot of other things in the
