hey guys welcome back to my channel if you're new here i'm summer and as you guys can see from the title i'm gonna bring you guys along with me all week long monday through friday and showing you what i will be eating really i wanted to make this video not only to motivate you guys but also to motivate myself i know this year has been so rough when it comes to like working out and eating clean because for me i had no motivation to do either yeah i just thought that this was like the perfect video to get started for the new year and get back on track also i wanted to thank lay some for certain amount of carbs protein and fat and it's so helpful when it comes to reaching your goals i really wish that i had something like this in the beginning of my like health journey i had no idea that you needed a certain amount of carbs and protein and fat and so i was just eating like salads without a lot of protein and no carbs at all really in my diet and i was seeing no results because you need to fuel your body and you need the nutrients and don't get me wrong i'm not a nutritionist or anything but i feel like that's where a lot of people struggle this is just such a helpful app and if you guys wanted to follow along and download it the link is in my description box and it's free on the app store and yeah let's get started for breakfast this morning i'm having one of my go-to easy recipes which is protein oats and it's exactly what it sounds like it's protein oats some almond butter and a little honey for sweetness now usually i make my matcha at home to save money but i've been loving this place called coffee commissary it has the best matcha [Music] okay just went grocery shopping i didn't go too crazy but i did pick up a few things for the week we have a lot of things in the fridge ready so i like to use up everything before i go like do like a full grocery run but we have some organic spinach some cucumber love eating this with hummus lots of zucchini squash to spiralize some red onion lemon to put in some celery juice in the morning apples to cut up for a salad i also got these to put in a salad too i want to make like a chicken harvest type of salad so those are for that some avocado some great tomatoes to throw in a salad i actually want to try this one thing where you melt dark chocolate so i got dark chocolate and you dip the little um oranges into the dark chocolate and then i got some bananas to freeze to put into smoothies some greek yogurt this has a lot of protein in it some medjool dates to throw in a smoothie to sweeten it some vans waffles i like this one because it has protein in it and then i used to eat these all the time after i went to f45 so these are no cow bars there's no sugar well there's one gram of sugar but there's 21 grams of protein in these and they're so good these are the chunky peanut butter since i have a lot to do today i actually have this salad that i got yesterday that i never ate so i'm gonna eat this this is a mediterranean salad and ever since i went to greece i'm just like obsessed with mediterranean food i love it so much this is basically like greens some shrimp some red onion tomatoes cucumber feta and it's so good for dinner i was craving something mexican style so i decided to make these zucchini boots that i've seen all over pinterest and it's basically like you're making a taco so it's the taco mead some beans some onion add a little cheddar cheese on top of it and you put it all inside the zucchini boats and it's so quick and easy and you also have so much leftovers after that you can use throughout the week and for a little snack at the end of the night i had some greek yogurt with some blueberries and granola and some chamomile tea this morning i did a quick little workout using weights and i made one of my go-to protein smoothies that has oat milk protein almond butter berries and greek yogurt and sometimes i even crave this at night because it's that good and then we went to coffee commissary grabbed a matcha and i had some avocado toast with an egg we're about to have lunch but i've been drinking water like crazy today i highly recommend getting a water bottle like this makes you just feel so accomplished after you drink the entire thing on like some you can also track how much water you're drinking throughout the day so i really love that honestly sometimes i just feel so exhausted and tired it's mostly because i'm not getting enough water i quickly made this like tuna salad bowl thing so it's tuna chickpeas veganise some salt pepper cucumber red onion and cherry tomatoes mix it all up together and it's the perfect amount of carbs protein and fat so i really like how on the livestock map too you can take a picture of the barcode and the actual brand pops up with all the nutrition facts and i just think that's so convenient so you don't have to like pop in all the information oh my gosh guys look how good this looks so i'm gonna eat this for lunch and then i'll check in with you guys for dinner so we have a ton of leftovers from last night so we just made some lettuce wraps with the meat inside that's like the good thing about having a lot of leftovers too you can just have it for a couple days we're really lazy when it well you actually do cook i'm the one that's lazy when it comes to cooking this is perfect for me to have a bunch of leftovers so i don't have to like cook anything at night [Music] [Music] this morning i have some egg whites and spinach so i got a lot of greens and protein and then i have a vans protein waffle i love these so much they're so good sometimes i put almond butter on them sometimes i just do like a little bit of syrup so today i'm just gonna put some syrup and berries on top and this is my [Music] breakfast she's like so confused right now so we just got back home and i just had a smoothie all day today so i'm starving we're gonna make this pal pasta which is red lentil pasta and it has 25 grams of protein in it we're gonna add some sausage some tomato sauce eggplant and broccoli and it's just like a really quick easy thing when we don't feel like making like a full dinner and it's filled with protein too so it's really healthy and good for you so this pasta only takes like six minutes to cook but to make it a little bit more flavorful we put in salt pepper garlic and a little bit of olive oil so it doesn't stick together and then we have some sausage over here cooking to add into the pasta [Music] this sausage is so good i just washed my face and i wanted to make this recipe that i found on the life summit by the way i'm using the premium version so you can unlock all different recipes and all different meal plans but i found this healthy hot chocolate recipe and i thought that i would make it tonight so all you need is some almond milk or oat milk some cacao powder cinnamon and honey or stevia to sweeten it so i'm gonna make this tonight i'm so excited i feel like i haven't had hot chocolate forever [Music] oh we got hibachi for dinner i'm so excited this is kind of like a cheat meal because they use a ton of butter you can just like taste it in here but it's so worth it also like when we do go out to eat we try to get healthier options like you guys saw today we went to air one that's our favorite place too it's so good they have so many different like healthy options there it's a little expensive it is it's like a bougier version of whole foods if you have ever been to la and you've ever went there before you know what i mean i think it's like important to you to like give yourself a cheat day too you don't have to eat 100 perfect all the time look at how good so we got shrimp and steak and rice and then this is like noodles rice and zucchini so good and it comes with a bunch of sauces too [Applause] so i just made a huge protein pancake this morning this used to be my go-to thing to eat because it's filled with protein and it's so easy to make so all you need is some rolled oats some oat or almond milk some cinnamon or vanilla extract one egg and some protein and that's it also i just usually just make one whole big one but you can also double up the recipe and make a couple if you guys want to but oh my gosh look how good this looks i always add some berries too on top of it and a little bit of syrup you can also add a tiny bit of almond butter if you're into that but i'm gonna have this for breakfast so that is what i eat in a week hopefully this gave you guys some ideas and some motivation for me also it's not like a quick fix either you're not going to see results after one week of working out and eating clean it's all about a healthy lifestyle change if you did want to go check out
