follow the doesn't hook into the hairpin as much as and Michael seems to follow the line if you know he hooks into the white line and look at the drive he's trying to get out William as well William was minding his business go through the hairpin all of a sudden these fellows start the front way a lot remember me this is the Yamaha Michael really likes it to this section this is true quarrys of course they're gonna choke off another lap this race reduced of course inter peppered both of them as well absolutely they trust each other they know each other's riding of course they can almost predict what's going to happen but this he's knows in front we should see camera dal going through as well Nick glance over from Michael dad look at William side-by-side it might be wavy you know no it's not it's Michael Michael gets into the finale we're looking back at Ryan Farquhar well that was just a little bit of track position working Oh William there was there yeah but Michaels got the lead of this race they're going to lead him to town they're breaking away at the front well I'm not sure I'm gonna call that a breakaway yet because they say well going back to Cameron dole there's a getting this kind of catapult effect that you're seeing from the helicopter particularly and we've seen between these two swapping places it's just a question really of who gets the best drop newish the checkered flag of the race is a certain certain short circuits this I mean this is what's unique really about road racing certainly here the northwestern baby's just a little bit wider off into the turn every time Michael Dom's exploited again Michael knew William was gonna do that I bet he had an idea that William was gonna do that he certainly again if you watch him again Michael really now we didn't see him go past guy Martin they get the last that flag guy Martin he's trying to like the slipstream of Cameron Donnell and what a story that would be we've concentrated on the Dunlop so much in the front and look at Bruce Hanson see he came from side by side with Donald and about to take third place of the Australian Michael it William is way there are five riders in the thin three second spread going across the finish line at the beginning of this last lap so it is still anybody's game and they're still at it down the field look at the people again it's not something about look at Bruce Anstey now though Richard it's a Leland's town and he's close right on them and I'm gonna get my hand in my fire but he didn't see if I can get a bell Bruce Anstey because you wouldn't have got one on him a lap to go so Bruce Anstey right behind William Dunlop Michael I'm still leading them and Bruce has been looking to pull the second place there goes leave it to me will we Supra second as well wow wow this is fantastic jumps back to third and they still the Dunlop's out in front so William that leads Michael at the moment Bruce Anstey's definitely got his name on the podium has made Cameron Donald isn't done yet though Ivan shaped I'm sure he's got his name on the fastest lap for the last time around with Bruce Anstey in third place spots a rain on their hands there as well so that might just come into play there might just be a chance of some bat much as you are for car moves at one position so we're looking down and it William Dunlop Michael Dolph still in second place Bruce Anstey third Ron Paul we might develop this the man in second place holding his brother and you'd have to say Cameron Donald and Guy Martin it's a three-way fight at the front he was right on the grass there William checks every shuttle got half a lap to go three and a half miles basically of this Dandridge circuit and he Dunlop is going to win this but I don't know which one it might be Anstey and he he's got a tall that's a big ass room even for Bruce even for the slipstream here for going uphill he's not close enough but Michael is oh no Phillip William is still carrying like the rev limiter kicked in there with Michael it wasn't it's it's almost like he got I'm too close back but that would be a first so Bruce Anstey pulling up the inside this and the slipstream of my Phillip will we get a face full of Bruce Anstey in a second we've got a face full of William Dunlop almost no and she's not coming through again here we go there we go right up on the back wheel and then just had to get out of it this is it Whalers down towards torna Grove I've got to take it back about Bruce Anstey look he's right there is neat suddenly closed up in the slipstream it's a three boy I've seen this every lap so far Richard William Dunlop has led into the head he's out of you see they're almost he's landed they have been now watch I say he doesn't hold the white line as much as Michael tends to he's trying to defend that line he's trying to hook in as much as he can man oh and I see changeover get every time he just William out on the scenic I think he needs to be about half a yard further over to his left as he goes into their hand and just to protect it so he can put back in for the exit we'll have to go back to I tell you what it's a break man it's a very hard man who beats Michael develop between here and the checkered flag I like it a lot wait so many Tufnell wins to come along the Ulster it looks it to are going to come back to back well it certainly looks as though William did the same thing at the hairpin and gave his brother the opening he wanted he saw Michael as you say go high and wide and dive back across and William just let him do it and I don't think he'll let that happen again here we go then Michael Dunlop two-time winner the Ulster Trump versus yes there you go and the results 0.03 of a second it didn't really look that much between first and second place there Bruce Anstey did indeed know his name on the podium did you tame it to perfection without always in your finger - you would have a goal in the last lap over I I played and played oh nice yeah good crag just sitting there and watch but can't say more boy wasn't on him what greatly it's just child I was raiding the wins offer and I strain them into this and to Bates we're equal great race and we somebody that you can date for us they don't mean properly good take theater we're already writing new chapters in the Astor's book of legends and there are three more races left to run take her winner out of this Dave well I think it's not so much to take a winner it's pick a tire for this because obviously they've not had any dry practice they're looking for a setup and tires or choice of tire is going to be a lottery because this could be a race that goes damp once we get going you

Road Racing is the black arts of Motorcycle Racing. Once you have tasted any of the 4 big ones (Isle of Man TT, Northwest 200, Ulster GP or Macau) you are hooked for life.

For the newcomers, watch and digest 2 great documentaries: TT3D Closer to the Edge (Gotta love Guy Martin) and Road (After you watch it you will gain a lot of respect to the Dunlop family)

Since the off-season is slow, now is the perfect time to learn about the dark arts of Motorcycle Racing

I love road racing and had a friend who used to race but gave it so his kids could have a father instead of a tomb stone. I don't care who you ask it becomes and addiction and it's currently at the stage where your driving the equivalent of a Moto GP bike on a country road full of pot holes at a speed you would snap a telephone pole in half if you hit it. Everyone involved knows the risks and there's a chance you won't make it back to the paddock alive when you get up on a bike and I don't see a reason to ban it because the people who race will just find another dangerous thing or sport to get that buzz. I love the sport and to me it's the pinnacle of bike racing.

Thanks for sharing. Riding in ulster GP in Motogp17 game was just unbelievable. And I was literally like whaaaat the fuck? How the fuck are these riders riding at this pace with little to no safety whatsoever. Not to mention the extra speed motogp bikes could attain on those roads compared to ride 2. Unbelievable.

Same for most other road racing tracks, Macau, north west 200 were quite visceral. Can't imagine riding them at any kinda pace.
