- So much paperwork to do
in order to fly right now. There is no lounge for adverts even premium passenger
in the moment at Zurich. - Its been seven months
since my last flight. - Its been a while! - There's very little reason
to pay for business class. - One by one, I guess they
don't want people to touch it. - Trey was wondering what's
changed in our industry in the last six months or so. - The biggest thing I miss
is the age of the eighties. - So this is how we are preparing for the light meal lunch option. So this customer chose with the covers on. - So we do have a few
changes in first class. - Everything seems (mumbles) - If I tell you here is a hospital, you would have believed me right? - Sir, I know you! - It's good to see Amaris
still serve a hot meal. Like I said about this flight. Look at how many passengers
around the cabin. We certainly interested
here for what you think, how we can end this pandemic and inject some of the
confidence back in travel. (upbeat music) It's been more than seven months
since I last flew Emirates. I'm excited. So there's a lot of extra paperwork to get on this flight to Dubai. As a residence, I have to
have a permission to return. And also I need a COVID
test, a negative COVID test. - Sir, do you have this formula? - I'll need to give health
declaration at Gates? - Yes. - Okay. I will fill that in. - Okay. - So much paperwork to do
in order to fly right now. The airport is pretty quiet right now. It felt like we're the only flights going. (upbeat music) Don't come to the airport too early because the Emirates lounge
in the midfield concourse is absolutely closed. There is no lounge for Emirates even premium passenger
at the moment at Zurich. I'm using a credit card
lounge in a moment. (upbeat music) We're taking this form, right? - Yes we need to yes,
so that contact tracing. - Contact tracing! Okay. - Thank you very much.
Thank you Have a pleasant flight.
See you! Goodbye.
See you. (upbeat music) - Wow.
(upbeat music) Its a feeling walking up the stairs. - (mumbles) good afternoon today. - Good to see you. - Welcome on board. - Its been seven months
since my last flight. - Its been a while! - Its been a while. Join us over here. (upbeat music) - Alright, its really
empty on this flight. I'm not even surprised. There's very few people on board. That's why I chose to
fly in the economy today. There's only five and a half hours. Zurich, Dubai, the
economy is being so empty. There's very little reason
to pay for business class for a short flight like this. (mumbles) - Ladies and gentlemen we
may be flighing (mumbles). - It looks like we're going to take on, on a very short runway. We're only 28. We only two and a half kilometre long. (aero plane taking off) It was a very powerful takeoff on runway two way on the triple seven 300, because we were light. There are very few
passengers on this flight. (upbeat music) (mumbles) - That's a travel hygiene kit. (mumbles) - Okay. So you're giving
one by one to passenger now? - Yes. - One by one, I guess they
don't want to people to touch it to reduce the contamination. This is very generous. There's five sanitizer gel
packets in the hygiene kits. There's also a two mask and
two gloves at different size. You guys probably have
seen lots of wide angle rotating this blog. This is the camera I've
been using to produce those. This is the Insta 360 one R camera, with the invisible selfie stick. The beauty of this I like
about it, is it's detachable. You can have the normal
4K wide angle lens. You can also have the 360
angle attached to the camera. So the camera camy modular,
its like a two in one. You can have a choice of
two lens in one camera. But the best thing I
like about this camera is the capability on editing. You don't need a photographer, a videoconference to travel with you. You guys shoot everything on your own, holding an invisible selfie stick. When you're editing in
the Insta 360 studio, you can select the angle. Select any angle front, back, left, right or 360 to include all the footage. And you can even take a
lot of great screenshots from your 5.7K 360 video. You can also add it. There is the free 61 hour on
your mobile phone on the go. There's a lots of funky move. You can add it on the mobile
phone and send it social media. - Get this amazing Insta free 361 R camera during Amazon prime day. You will not only get 15% off but you will also get a
free invisible selfie stick using code Sam tree 360. - Hello to everyone. Once again, Stephanie is my name, first on board today from Zurich. Mr Trey was wondering, what's
changed in our industry in the last six months or so. As you can see from the
part of the obvious, divisors, the masks, the gloves, the (mumbles) protective
protective equipment. But the most, the biggest
change for us as a crew has come from the part that we're not interacting
with our customers as much as we used to before. That was the biggest
part of our interaction and our jobs to speak
to people, to interact, to see what's going on, to
move around when it comes to sanitation and throughout the flight. Now we have introduced our one of our ladies on each
flight over at 1.5 hours, our cabin service assistants. Now we have them on all flights to take care of the laboratories
throughout the aircraft and sanitise surfaces. - What else has changed? - We feel hot now. I would think, more than before the temperature was
always a problem on board for the customers and for the crew. Now it's even more
challenging with these things, but we're coping. I mean, we're basically
bottom line is that we are very happy to be
able to fly nowadays. We have to abide by the quarantine rules. But there were the less, it's nice to see our colleagues
and people on boards. And everything slowly
coming back to normal. - The biggest thing I miss and everybody miss at
Emirates is the Avery 80. We missed this aeroplane. Have you operated Avery 80 since Corona? - I haven't. I haven't since the covid but actually I do personally
miss it a lot as well. It's an exceptionally a cuffed and it's an exceptional experience. And the feeling when you're in creating, especially as a person
being able to go around such a huge aircraft
interacts with so many people with so many crew. And it's a village it's
not in the aircraft. It's, amazing experience. (upbeat music) - So this is how were preparing for the light meal lunch option. So we go with the charlie into the cabin. So we serve the customers and linen, then we (mumbles) cutlaries and additional bottle of water. So this is how the tray set up looks like. So everything is covered and the customers have
an option to be covered or with the covers removed. So this person chose with the covers on. We just waiting to be heated
the hot meal and the bread. - So what are you cooking today? - So today sir, we have
pan fried beef Tenderloin, chicken veggie bush and
spinach and fried (mumbles). - So we do have a few
changes in first class. As you can see, the note pad and the pen is wrapped in some plastic. Everything is wrapped. The aircraft is thoroughly sanitised. You can see just in
the mini bars, this is. - Everything seems like
filled and wrapped. - We just want to show you what we have for our first class passengers. We still have the very
buried, breads basket. We have pre-plated
salad pre-plated caviar, and pre- plated (mumbles) - The pillows also come wrapped as have the duvets and the
mattresses in first class. - We have still the mattresses to be offered in business class. However, its sealed. So we will offer it to the passenger now and they will prepare their own bed. - Nice sound. What's up? Congratulations on your first solo. My name is Joe. I've been working with Emirates
for the last eight years. I also have a pilot licence. I have a CPL from the States. And we're still flying next to you one day in the copit. Good luck bro. - Thank you so much man.
Hopefully one day you fly me. - Thank you.
Yeah - It's great to see like
my naviator on this flight. CPL, that's amazing. Commercial pilot licence. If I tell here is the hospital, you wouldn't believe me. Right? Everybody's covering the face. There's no way I can tell
where they're from anymore. Where are you from? - Hello? I'm Bruce from the Philippines. - Where you from? - Gift from Morocco. - From Morocco.
Yes - Hello. Anita from Thailand. - Preparing for the service right now. We make sure to notice (mumbles) Now this is the temperature gauge. - Check the temperature gauge. (upbeat music) (mumbles) - So now basically I will
serve this for the drinks, where ill just give them
like, juice packet juice. And for drinks only cans. So only we can full red
wine and white wine. So I'm serving lunch right now, would you care for the grilled chicken or the (mumble) cheese? - Apen chicken please. - Would you care to have
something to drink sir? Apple juice, orange
juice, pepsi, soda, wine or beer and water for you? - Ill have a diet pepsi. - Diet pepsi. - Well I'm about to enjoy my lunch. And this is the only time
I can lower my mask to eat. (upbeat music) Well, I really enjoyed
that chicken main course. It's good to see Amber
still serve a hot meal in the economy class. The only thing missing is
the cheese and cracker. They used to have really good cheese and crackers in the economy. - Sir, I know you! - Whoa you know me? - Yes. I do - Wow! - Do you know me? - No, I don't know you. - Yes you do! - From where I know you? - From another flight maybe. - You're a cabin crew. - Yes I am. - Oh really? - Yeah, I was on your flight. This is you and me and
all the rest of the crew. This is New Jersey, Hong Kong flight. - Oh, you here! - Yeah and you're there. - And I'm there. - And we were everywhere. - Oh my God! That's you. - And that's you as well. - Wow! It's nice to see
you on this flight again. - And nice to see you as well. But you don't remember me. - We failed them out. I will. (upbeat music) Well, there's lots of empty
rows. Help yourself out! Stretch out! Economy first class, full sitter, fully split beds in economy. So I'm going to take
a nap for a little bit and see you later. (upbeat music) I started feeling a bit moody during the flight as it goes on. And now, we just did a second
service about an hour to land. I felt terrible. I felt sad. I felt sad about this flight. Look at how many
passengers around the cabin there are maximum 50
passenger in the economy. You know, the frequent changing of rules, brought the closures
requirements of flights puts people off. I knew it, lots of people would travel, but because of all these
rules and regulations really put people off. And now we have very few people who needed to fly are flying. Government needs to work together with all the stakeholders in the airlines, to figure a way to
provide safe air passage. You know IHL we're recommending
a mandatory Covid testing at the airport to make
sure you're COVID free to get on board to fly. So then all the border can be opened. We certainly interested here for what you think, how
we can end this pandemic and inject some of the
confidence back in travel. What's the advice you can give now to travellers whose flying. - The little things matters the most. I mean, wash your hands,
wear your mask every time. It's the most important thing. And we always try to remind our customers and rest of the crew to do the same thing. So stay safe. (upbeat music) - See you next time. Bye bye. - All right. See you. Thank
you for looking after me. (mumbles) - Stay safe. - And Sam, just before you leave, we left you with a we wrote a card for you to leave you as a... - Oh my God! - Yes. - Its a card? - Its a card from all the crew signs. And... yeah! - That's incredible. Thank you so much. I definitely would treasure this flight. It's very special Covid flight. Well, thank you. - Let me get. - Five and a half hour flight. Very easy on the triple
seven, back to the heat and hello Dubai. Okay. My bags already waiting
for me on the baggage belt. This time to formality in
Dubai was surprisingly fast. Thanks for the Covid test I have. So I don't have to take another
Covid test when I arrive. It's pretty straight forward. Just immigration, stamp the passport. Now do baggage claim and custom and out. (upbeat music)
