We're going to GUAM! E.55

this is our family trip to Guam [Music] so I'm just standing outside the balcony of our hotel room overlooking the ocean in the pool in this video I wanted to share with you guys our trip to Guam I know we don't do a lot of stuff outside of Tokyo outside of Japan but we wanted to bring you along for this trip so what better way than to start at the beginning [Music] after a four hour flight from Japan's Narita Airport to Guam we arrived at this Tropical Paradise a slice of America a home away from home to hopefully create an unforgettable family memory and guess what it's our son's first time traveling overseas ironically he has a passport to this place and we're staying at Lotte Hotel Guam who invited us for this beautiful experience oh yeah and Wolfie might look a little bit older in this one as we're skipping ahead several months but we'll be back with the other videos in the next one [Music] of course [Music] all right so we've just arrived at the hotel this place looks pretty phenomenal just looking around you see the ocean right in front of us if you haven't seen the room yet but we should be going shortly foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] how was the trip from Tokyo to Guam it was good it was fast surprisingly oh but we had two big spill incidents but other than that [Music] what do you see basketball wow what's wrong so this is pretty awesome we have two pools right here one is an infinity pool um and the other one has like a volleyball net and a basketball hoop and then it just all overlooks the ocean which is perfect all right before anything let me do a full tour of our poolside Suite room it has a separate living room and a bedroom with two firm king-sized beds just the way I like it the bath itself is ginormous for Japanese standards featuring two things on opposite sides a bathtub a shower and a toilet with all the new school washlets it's got all the basic amenities you need even sporting that molten brown brown there's also a second bathroom at the entrance area the living room has a dining area with a little sink and microwave and the view overlooking the clear turquoise ocean and pools are Exquisite so now that we're all checked in I hear that they have a mean Burger so when Michael and Wolfie get all their stuff together we're gonna go down there and get a burger we're gonna go shopping you gotta wear shoes well probably four hours of Paw Patrol helps his English [Music] in the lobby they have a bar cafe where you can also order food to go which is perfect for us since we're a bit tired from traveling so tonight we're gonna order in and try to enjoy the sunset from our room it's a really big business okay so you're just gonna be one month of burger well done our tables are set up right there for our food so we can have a little pool side and a sunset dinner this is perfect whatever you see the sunset [Music] wow unfortunately we didn't make it before the sunset but the burger sure was absolutely amazing look how big this burger is it is like three times the size of my head one time two times out of my head we got egg cheese pineapple One Bun here another bun here another bun like a quadruple burger and then a huge pineapple at the bottom maybe if I can just take this part off like a bad [Music] that is a tasty burger that's so juicy and Meaty look how big is meat like there's a monster Patty you don't get this type of Patty in Japan this Patty is huge this burger is so good I can't have enough Michael ordered the seafood Curry for herself and we ordered Wolfie the meat spaghetti and who would have thought but our little picky eater loved his pasta oh my oh my I'm running late are you supposed to be sleeping hey why [Music] [Music] thank you good morning everyone we had a good night of sleep last night Wolfie wake up super early so didn't get as much sleep as we wanted but I think it's time for breakfast now so we're gonna go down and get some breakfast breakfast time grass side tell me what we're gonna do with grass Wolfie uh are you gonna hug all the grass yeah how much for grass yeah full grass [Music] hey good morning [Music] so I heard a lot of great things about their morning Buffet here so let's see what they have to offer okay so this place has a pretty decent selection there's a lot of space here it's actually like eight o'clock so it's not so busy but what's pretty awesome is that you have this ocean front view which is just stunning as you can see right here Whoopi is enjoying his fruits we also have some natto I'm actually going it pretty light this morning I'm only having you know some sausage and they have a pretty decent cold section here for like vegetables and like morning things I mean if you want to go cold you want to go warm in the morning they have it all check this out I got this seaweed roll I don't know if I've ever had it before I wanted to try it it looks like it's fried oh they're like a vermicelli noodle in here like most respectable Resort Hotels they have a proper egg station pancakes and fresh toast Grill all made right in front of you but on top of this in this Lotte Hotel they even offer a wide variety of delectable kimchi accompanying their Asian inspired breakfast menu but yeah so this place is pretty amazing there's even some bread on the outside if you want to get it fruits and vegetables over there pretty decent breakfast [Music] stay there no more here [Music] so check this out this is the infinity pool it just looks like it goes on forever this is Wolfie's first time swimming in Guam you ready Wolfie you ready okay let's go one two three [Music] the first time Wolfie played in a real deal pool was last year in Okinawa as some of you already know and ever since then he's been looking forward to having another hotel pool day so this time we're gonna let him indulge and schedule time every day for a splash and he's absolutely loving it I remember when I was a kid and how much I loved being in the pool I could spend hours in it so for me as a father to be able to give these experiences of life to my son is amazing so before we came down to the pool area I got my coffee from the Starbucks apparently like being Guam there's only two Starbucks which is really surprising to hear and one of it is in here so actually the pool this infinity pool I thought it was for adults but the front area of the infinity pool are really shallow so we can actually play with Wolfie as you can see obviously the kids area kids pool area all the way in the back has a really cool slide and he really really really loves it well today I just want to relax and not like heart horrible day for me today so I'm just relaxing it's a great day yeah what's wrong with me [Music] okay so this is awesome we have all you can drink they have Kila my favorite to Rio Grande tequila food here too as well so many choices arms are really red huh they got burned I didn't even go to the pool after one day huh after 30 minutes whoops it's okay after a memorable day at the pool we decided to grab a bite at the club Lounge which is luckily included in our room suite happy hour starts from 5pm which is perfect for an early two-year-old's dinner but even better for Daddy since it's an all-inclusive bottleness bar did someone say free Yo No I love free of course there's a food options as well and even a latte machine and juice for those non-drinkers I should point out traveling with kids you never know when they'll get hungry and fussy so it's nice to have this convenient food and drink option close to the room I should also mention that before happy hour they have afternoon tea it has a reduced menu but nonetheless it's all included so free food and drinks for most of the day the chocolate yeah oh you can't eat chocolate huh yeah yeah Only Daddy right yeah I got shrimp hamburger and I have crab it's scary good morning sunglasses where's Mommy well is she still sleeping yeah so right now Wolfie and I are gonna go do a little water activity he's actually never done it before so I'm quite excited to see how he handles the whole situation we're gonna go into the ocean and he's gonna get on one of those inflatable boats I think we're just gonna get like pulled behind it kind of excited to see how this guy reacts to all of it it's just gonna be the two of us mommy's gonna be taking a little break doing her own thing so laundry she's just gonna go maybe shopping do her thing well us boys gonna go do some water activities [Music] coconut after about a 30 minute ride in the van we are ready to start our Blue Sky water adventure I'm hoping that wolf is as excited as me [Music] you ready Wolfie yeah whoa we're going yeah we're going fast okay so we are going back I think we'll be a little too much for today but I think it's okay that was fun okay we're going back to the beach now okay although I had fun just being in the water with Wolfie I think it was a bit overwhelming for him so I guess we're just gonna stick to playing at the beach well whatever makes him happy I'm all for it [Music] as I said many times before living in Tokyo's Concrete Jungle Wolfie rarely gets a chance to play in the ocean or experience nature in general so it's great for him to get these experiences and just look at his smile it's priceless okay so we're all done Wolfie really enjoyed just being in the water and hanging out playing with all the sand toys but I think now we gotta go head back and continue the day [Music] all right so we're about to get dinner right now finish off this memorable Guam trip we're having a Night Buffet at the hotel [Music] this is crazy there's so much stuff I want to eat here is so much of food here yeah it won't be as excited are you excited yeah there's someone too right yeah we had a plate full of oysters right here we're half legs look at this this is pretty intense we even got some Lobster here this is awesome [Music] look at all of this stuff that they have here I'm like Blown Away there's so much good food ready to have I think anyone will be happy with this Buffet I feel like you can probably go here like two or three nights and still have so much food to eat and not even try everything because literally this is awesome unless someone plays music in front of you which is pretty cool too um [Music] everything was impressive but the legend was definitely the Highlight for me this slowly roasted suckling pig is a traditional Filipino food which is definitely difficult to get in Japan nothing beats as tender and moist meat and it's unmistakable crispy out of skin then pair with lechon sauce every bite brings a smile to my face okay so that was our trip we appreciate you guys enjoying our family if you guys like this
