Week in the Life of a Nursing Major | BOSTON COLLEGE

[Music] uh this is day one of a week in the life of a nursing student so basically i just woke up i am going to go to the dining hall to get food hopefully it's pancakes i like the french toast french toast is good i just want pancakes this morning hopefully they have cranberry juice they've been in a drought like we don't have money here this week is going to be like a crazy week for me even though i don't have like any exams i definitely have a lot of stuff to do i have three papers to write and i have an exam for anatomy next week so i gotta get my stuff together i've been slacking basically my first day of actual school since hell month so i gotta recover i gotta recover y'all like you just gotta be ready for me to recover i'm so excited this is so weird to be filming like this like what um basically what i have to do today i have three classes mondays are my worst days that's just how like my schedule worked out and all my classes every single day of the week start at 12 o'clock so like that's the benefit but i do have some afternoon classes which are disgusting 12 o'clock i have my statistics class it's required for a nursing major second semester of your freshman year i have my anatomy lab which is required because you're taking anatomy then i have my god self society which is a class for theology but perspective is definitely the way to go freshman year so so i am wearing a boohoo track suit with my cheap phasers just gotta keep it light i don't really like dressing up but everyone says i'm always dressed uh i'm about to put my jacket on to leave because it's disgusting i'm sorry like the weather here just doesn't make sense but anyways look at my beautiful hallway it's decorated decorated for black history month and staying up because black power black people period his money for two hours before got to get this work done before my class my statistics class that's at 12 type in i don't go in on mondays some classes that are hybrid you can choose whenever you want to come in i like this class love my teacher if you have a chance to take robin brooks take her amazing woman [Music] i hate being a nursing manager so this is a very brief um lecture on cardiovascular dynamics so i'm back in she's not supposed to me and i speak 50 60 which is rare this time of year i just got tested i'm gonna go get lunch is that alexa what do you have to say to the vlog oh you're doing that do it again do it again i have a lot of work to do and i have a midterm i'm gonna go to sleep bye i'm now walking to mac christie you want to be in the vlog first you're gonna listen to anyone no no no i want to be like i got myself a salad [Music] and i got myself a cookie their bakery is superior to elite and serena's room just hang out for a little bit decided not to go to the gym oh hello you can't oh my god hey guys i'm currently doing my roommate's hair this is where i've gotten um you guys can sleep see the clean parts not really this lighting is pretty bad good morning good morning good morning currently going to breakfast it's going to be a hectic day and three classes are online though so i have my first year writing seminar anatomy introduction to nursing class yeah i'm staying outside in front of lions convex everyone behind me um i have lunch i'm going to the gym today i'm forcing myself to go to the gym i have class at 3. it's just a beautiful day today bc is a beautiful place despite the fact that it's together when you have a community at bc it's a great place to be and if you don't you can always have a community with me putting like students of color in predominantly white spaces isn't necessarily like the solution to the problem it's like putting a band-aid over the issue guys that's who i ran into hey my name is ashley hello he's another nursing student nursing is hard be careful what you choose okay you need to have the right mindset okay we're just going to go take this class together yes diversity let's see what they say about black people whoa a period of damn alive harriet look at the melanin what anyways i left class took an emotional toll i had to you know you can't always entertain and clap back at every little thing you'd be hearing especially racist stuff that comes from teachers or students you gotta pack it up no i gotta get packed up that was just too much are you gonna go to the gym with me i will yeah i have somebody might see me crying at the gym that's gasoline oh this is such a cute little okay anyways we gonna do a big check cause like why not come on kaylee lookie i'm not really fit up for the weather it's a little hot but it's like a cute little grout fit thing going on the air max you know braids freshly done by myself period with the help of sierra period i think i'm with cece cece it is currently like 1005 walking to the gym kaylee didn't come with me okay if you're watching this come on now [Music] so i'm currently at work that's why i was friends i've been working about 8 [Music] is [Music] [Music] alexa this is not okay so i'm currently walking back to my dorm i got my food i ordered food for tonight so i'm getting noble it's pizza i'm excited about it i'm gonna go chill and then do my work you know i just stopped doing work i needed a mental break soon decided to come and visit what's up pizza what are you doing she got the meat lover it comes out of our meal plan skin is giving right um you know how much that pizza costs 20. meal plan though but twenty dollars lonnie matthew this is my roommate canadian hi and this is her favorite person on campus through the set [Laughter] they're going to eat and i'm going to go do work [Applause] we're just missing haley and elaine but elaine's not coming because elaine ditched us it's okay we love you we miss you hello it is 11 21 and serena and i are grinding it out and are in the lobby i mean i'm distracted but like i'm gonna get my life together i have to do this study guide for my study group and finish this essay i was gonna face tomorrow but i just need to get done today talk to your friends about what you're doing because serena was just reading this reading and i'm and one of the essays that i'm writing i needed that reading to help me prove a point yes it wouldn't be the vlog well first of all let me show you the p5 i'm the only guy on upper campus with a p5 flat screen tv right here there's some cup noodles there uh this is like a life of a college student um there's cereal there oh not my dormitory all right that's a little sneak peek i'll tell you that and yeah i think i'm gonna graduate early as long as i get like um good morning guys so it is currently like 9 25 in the morning i woke up at like eight i went to office hours for a couple minutes i'm gonna go go eat i honestly am never in back this much i don't know why this video i've been back so much so this is not realistically a week in life breakfast is the best meal here so i definitely think i should get my time going to get that i have two classes today anatomy at 12 and then my first day writing seminar but i have a meeting during that time so i'm just going to email her until her mom coming to class and she can respond it's just like i have stuff to do i have work from 8 30 to 11 30 tonight so i'm gonna go there so i just finished my meeting i'm outside i decided tomorrow's gonna be a mental health day don't get it stoke's on i'm eating a bowl oh i have a smoothie and singing what's up how y'all doing today we're having an amazing day today look at the light we're not having an amazing day but like we're forcing us to have amazing oh look who's coming it's bad christie y'all look so good all hi right my name is beth i'm a lynch major and comps eye miner thank you i'm pretty mad that's all i'm going to say about that so i'm walking back from back much rather kill myself so i'm currently at work i work from 8 30 to 11 30 and then going back to my room getting ready and going to bed so hi guys we just got back from the gym um gabriel whatever his last name is over there i do not consent to this consent what are you beating social media all right you're done good morning y'all it is friday april 9th i'm currently walking to get myself a smoothie hopefully it'll be a mental health day i don't really know how to control myself it's 68 degrees today bro that is so rare so it's gonna be a really nice day i'm so excited tomorrow supposed to be 70. like what in massachusetts don't make me active so i'm outside look at our dorms and i'm just chilling i got my smoothie is um i have worked today from 5 30 to 8 30 tonight class at 12 and then study group it's not like hey guys period y'all what's up hey y'all so we're outside and we have jayla here don't go to the pwi we're gonna go to the bic i didn't sign up for the food so i'm gonna hope that it's there everyone except serena decide to wear um ones today and guys we could say i didn't wear one oh yeah but you wore air you were forces she wanted though so that comes as ones to some extent we are with our favorite r.a name is darnell class of 2022. here he is i never videotaped the bic food but it was um some asian cuisine today it was good it wasn't busting busting but i think honestly that's because it wasn't embarrassing because you know the sun is busting busting okay i'm not being serious guys it's not as good as it usually is but you know what they fed us she's eating this i'm eating mac and cheese from the wrap and it's actually really good is it the hot dog is it's not okay really good is like that it's good [Music] i'm just i'm just confused you guys ever come on campus and you see one of us please say hello like i i honestly will stop and like if you want a tour you can get a tour hit us up if you want a tour i will schedule a time with you guys i work in like 10 minutes so i'm just going to get changed get ready for work i work for friday 8 30 and i'm going to have fun today i'm going to be starting to get some food and i heard it's really good so i'm really excited bc after dark there's something new that they created and then we got the girlies over here we usually trash on mac and like the food in general but this is actually kind of good we got like curly fries we got some burgers it's some good stuff hey guys so now we're sitting in the lounge we're with our friend el shawn el shawna hi hello sean i'm a business major i'm from new york area where new york you're from brooklyn period exactly and what apparently he's a snitch sit down come on [Music] and then hopefully take a walk the road let's just get into it we're doing work we're gonna go to the mall in like 20 minutes we got um playables especially when it's hot outside acai bowls with uh granola blueberry strawberries it's the way to go i get the aloha smoothie but you all saw today ghetto what i got it wasn't really that good aloha leave without bananas so we're in chestnut hill mall don't come here guys please do not have anything i can't lie i'm sorry this place has nothing we're waiting for cena we went to sephora yeah a little behind the scenes of our pictures i'm not going to be taking anything [Music] experience as you see [Music] and tonight we have curly fries and wings does everyone have that and so mozzarella sticks as well i had a burger sweet potato fries let's switch it up hey guys it is april 11th it's a sunday i'm uh it's 11 30. i'm gonna start my work i have an appointment at 3 30 today i have nothing else to do it's my last day of the vlog guys i'm so sad i may eat the food in my dorm i really back on the weekends is not it so i came back with another boohoo no with my shadow backboard something called when the weather is like weird outside i like wearing tracks so it is currently 8 23. i got myself some food from mac the best meal they're like hands down with some salt and butter is the rice the rice is superior that's the best meal there that's that's how i survive here i'm gonna do my work for the rest of the day so it's about to be 11 o'clock i'm gonna go take a shower and get ready for bed this is the end of my week in
