attention the foolishness of God look at first Corinthians 1:25 first Corinthians chapter 1 verse 25 because the foolishness of God is wiser than men and the weakness of God is stronger than men take speech and the rod of God there is manmade manmade in this instance of God's wisdom as rejected by the wisdom of men so the wisdom of man calls the wisdom of God foolish the wisdom of man calls the wisdom of God foolish reject him with the rejection this rejection the rejection of God's wisdom or the rejection of the message of the grace of God will be by the reason of man's intellect the reason of man's intellect that is the wisdom of God is explained in the scriptures as Jesus dying for sins Jesus dying for sin is the wisdom of God which explains the power of God unto salvation this does not make sense neither is it logical to the wisdom of this world for this purpose brother Paul says it is hidden to men for this purpose brother Paul said it is hidden from men so God is hidden from unbelief a man in unbelief can not of Revelation because unbelief means you are wiser than God unbelief means God is foolish in your eyes unbelief means God alpha is not good enough unbelief means you have something better that one than what God has for you so that is why the wisdom of man calls the wisdom of God foolishness and that is where the rejection of the gospel is called the root of God he was an intellectual guy but that was not his approach in preaching the gospel of Christ he said it did not come to them by the way of his intellect he simply presented the wisdom of God the cross of Christ asks the power of God the cross of Christ as the power of God so the faith of the HERA will not stand in the wisdom of man but in the wisdom of God which is the gospel of Christ crucified so that the faith of man will not stand on intellectual reasoning but in the wisdom of God which is Christ crucified the power to salvation please stay with me 1st Corinthians chapter 2 verse 4 1st Corinthians chapter 2 verse 4 and my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power the work demonstration is a Greek word up ears are dull of hearing and their eyes they have closed lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and shall understand with their heart and should be converted and I miracle but his emphasis was upon his Allah the resurrection his emphasis was upon his hour the resurrection Jesus explains the significance of wine at the Passover table what is the significance of the wine on the Passover table look at matthew 26:26 module 26 26 and as they were eating Jesus took bread and blessed and broke it and gave to the disciples and said take it this is my body 27 and it took the cup and gave thanks and gave it to them saying drink he all of it 28 for this is my blood of the New Testament which is shed for many for the remission of sins 29 but I say unto you I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my father's Kingdom he explains that the wine was symbolic representation of his blood which will be shed for the remission of sins for many and this was fulfilled upon his resurrection the blood was for the remission of sins the blood of Jesus is not for traveling I plead the blood no no the blood was not to be sprinkled on the road the blood was for the remission of sins this is my blood of the New Testament which is shed for many why for the remission of sins for the remission of sins so the significance of the blood of Jesus shed was for the remission of sins look at Revelation chapter 1 verse 5 Revelation chapter 1 verse 5 let's corroborate it and from Jesus Christ who is the faithful witness and the first begotten of the Dead and the Prince of the kings of the earth unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood and washed us from our sins in his own blood look at Hebrews 9:14 Hebrews chapter 9 verse 14 how much more shall the blood of Christ who through the Eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God purge your conscience from dead works to 6:53 then said then jesus said unto them verily verily I say unto you except you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood you have no life in you so the eating of the flesh and the drinking of the blood is for eternal life look at the next verse the next verse 54 whoso eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath eternal life and our resum up at the last day resurrection the wisdom of this world defines in sense knowledge it will refer to a loaf made from flour as bread but Jesus figuratively taught his audience that he himself is the bread of life they could not understand because of the hardness of their heart they did not believe Moses teaching of Christ and they did not believe Christ look at Matthew 19 verse 8 see what Jesus said in Matthew 19 verse 8 he saith unto them Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives but from the beginning it was not so from the beginning it was not so because of the mess of your hat so the law of Moses was not at Moses would put a veil over his face that the children of Israel could not stedfastly looked at the end of that which is abolished 14 but their minds were blinded for until this day remain at the same veil on taken away in the reading of the Old Testament which veil is done away in Christ next verse but even unto this day when Moses is read the veil is upon their hearts next bus hyah nevertheless when it shall turn from Moses to the Lord the veil shall be taken away the minds of these people was veiled by unbelief Moses allowed them to do what was in their hearts because they were hardened towards God and that has been from the beginning but in John chapter 1 verse 1 to 5 God's Word is light and the light shines in darkness but darkness which describes the heart of man in kingdom of God shall come so the new wine will be his resurrection the use of symbols we are for the unyielding it was for the unyielding because faith is by hearing here in the message of Christ which brings faith all to salvation jesus also explained Moses in John chapter 3 verse 14 John chapter 3 verse 14 another symbol and as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness even so must the Son of Man be lifted up 15 that also ever believed that in Him should not perish but have eternal life whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life they were to believe what Jesus said not to be carrying a serpent on a pole every day that serpent was symbolic of faith in Christ which brings life just like the bread and wine was symbolic of faith in Christ which gives eternal life what about the temple in John chapter 2 verse 16 look at John 2:16 temple the temple worship jesus said unto them that sold doves take these things hence make not my father's house an
