you already know [ __ ] boy joe back at it again codingphase.com your boys back and adam did it again one more time guys yeah we did it again we are live man uh shout out to everybody that's coming in let's see who's gonna be the first one on the chat room here on the live chat we're gonna give a big shout out to him okay let's see who's the first one uh but yeah guys man we are live we're chilling okay happy new years to every single one of you guys man i hope that you guys really enjoy yourself on new year's eve and you know you win hard right you enjoy yourself because now it's time to to work hard okay we're in 2021 right there's no excuse for anybody to be broke okay i did a live stream on new year's and i told you guys man there's no reason for anybody here to be broke for 2021 okay you guys have the best resources here on this channel on codingface.com you get to learn how to code you get over 60 plus courses uh pretty much everything that you need to get hired as a developer and then at the same time everything that you need to make money independently so not only are you getting one income but you're also getting a second income when it comes to it all right um that's the that's the goal for 2021 and and it's a goal that you guys can definitely achieve all right so let's see who's in here the first one is v security shout out to v securities the first one second one justin mills then we got jason g those are the top threes okay and then we got a couple of people pete quinn brian redding uh code for caffeine ram uh ram my code han cohan uh let me see my dash jason g brian reading of course michelle williams eight night okay shout out to a night says it's 11 41 p.m here in pakistan well it's 1 42 p.m here in the united states east coast okay uh my dash says is the internship still on yes it's still going i'm gonna show you guys a little bit of what the guys are actually working on um they just had their first kickoff meeting uh this morning shout out to them okay i'm gonna keep you guys updated on how it goes you know the ups the downs the things that i feel the guys should update or should improve on right and yeah man it's gonna be a very interesting thing this is the first team that we're putting out there uh from there we're also gonna start bringing in other people for the next week every week i'm gonna try to bring in a new team so they can start working on projects and it could be a legit internship projects that they could have for their portfolios okay um let's see who else is seeing here ram says excited to join the internship in the future yeah man so you already chose the squad yes we already chose one squad the goal is to have multiple interns come in um throughout the year okay so it's not just like oh one team and that's it nah the goal is to have multiple people come in uh every week or every two weeks so like that we can space it out and then you know the first week what i plan on doing for them is just to make sure that they get acquainted with each other they understand how to work as a team uh one of the videos that i'm working on right now that i'm about to release later on today is teaching you guys and anybody that is gonna do an internship or work in a team how can you work with with a team of developers and designers properly okay um so i'm gonna be using all of the tools that we have available to us to create a really great video that you guys can learn from a lot okay because working by yourself is not the same thing as working with a team okay so i want you guys to always keep that in mind when you work with a team somebody needs to lead and then from there everybody else is like support right uh people come in create what they have to create and there's different tasks for everybody um but there's definitely needs to be a lead um and i'm going to show you guys all of that in the video that i'm gonna drop later on probably like at four or five o'clock it should be there uh yeah man so look this is my goal with what i'm doing with the internships my goal is to bring in new developers and designers and give them the first look at what it is to work in a team you know when people go in to apply to companies most of the time they just have projects that are not meaningful right they're not real projects they're not real businesses okay so when they go to a job interview they go in with just hey i know how to code but you know what everybody else that showed up to this interview also knows how to code how can you differentiate yourself from everybody else and it's by having real projects so my goal is to give that first look for developers and designers to be able to have something meaningful in their portfolio okay and have real experience and then at the same time by building this type of projects that we're building here on 87 lux and coding phase like that they could go in and take the same things that we're doing here and do it on their own okay like for those of you guys that don't know um what we're doing at 87 lux is we're creating themes applications and then we're also dealing with customers and and building custom websites now those things all of those three things you guys can do too but it's harder for somebody that has never done it and don't understand the process of it so by me having this interns in they're gonna learn how to do it on their own right and then from there they could go in and and basically work with that same team that they they got put on and maybe they could build their own company maybe they could build their own team you get them saying like that's what i want for my interns to to get out of this whole thing now the projects that they built i'm putting it up for basically for open source and and for people to be able to download them for free okay i'm not gonna charge for you i'm not gonna pay for it uh it's just for it to be free online um at the same time it does help out my company for you know how can we say exposure right um but in reality it's helping out everybody it's giving the interns exposure is giving them a first a real project that they're getting to build um at the same time uh they have a real reference like now i can see the work that they've done when somebody goes in and say hey the little billy whoever worked for you guys i can you know honestly say hey yeah little billy worked for us on this project on this project this is what he's good at he's good with react he's good with node.js he's good with or wordpress you gotta say like we want to be that first step to make sure that everybody gets an opportunity this year and gets paid and gets hired you know um but one thing that i i noticed you know i'm probably gonna bring in maybe like two two more teams two more teams to the internship like from like random people meaning people that's here on that's watching us here through youtube or that maybe doesn't know us whatever it might be because i got a lot of emails but the majority of the people um i've never heard of before right like a lot of people they've never left a comment they've never been part of the community um they're not on codingphase.com um and i realized something with like what's happening with team one you know in the sense of you know a lot of the things that we're building a lot of people don't know it okay a lot of people annoying haven't taken courses on it so i'm realizing that you know i think the best way to make sure that everybody has the right skills for the internships going towards the future right not right now i'm gonna do two more teams that's gonna be just from everybody that email me but what i'm going to do is i'm going to go and basically start picking out interns from either the lifetime or the yearly plus memberships uh people that have access to all of the courses because pretty much everything that we're building is provided at codingface.com okay so if we go in and and we say hey we need you to know bm we need to know we need you to know uh react we need you to know next year yes we need you to know um shopify shopify app development right then now if we're just choosing from everybody at the end of the day it's like are there prepared to do those type of projects and i don't think that everybody can do those type of projects so what i'm planning on doing after the third team that i put in is i'm gonna go in and i'm gonna reach out to the community within coding phase and then start giving the internships to the guys that's on the yearly and the uh lifetime memberships just because they have access to all of those courses that have access to all of those skills so when i say hey you guys got to work on this thing they could literally go in and get the training that they already have or they have access to you know so that's one of the things that i'm planning on doing because i'm realizing you know with what we're building on 87 lux is like not everybody has that not everybody has those skills not everybody has knows even even like right now if i go in and be like hey guys i want to give you guys a task of making sure uh put in this google tag manager set up the google analytics for this website set up the facebook ads or facebook pixels right now everybody has that so i'm like you know it's like okay i'm limited to the type of projects that i want to give but the people that i know have taken those courses i can go in and i can comfortably tell them to to go in and and work on those things without having to you know without having them to waste too much time on on searching on how to do it or this this and that is like it's already there bro like the training is already there um let me see shout out to john kuhn says you're joe taking your courses right now my goal is to get ready to get in touch get into the internship starting next month hey learn html css this whole month right um and then from there you can go and start learning a little bit of javascript and then you could join on the internship for sure because at least you could help out in the front end while somebody else does either the back end or sets up the project or set up the the github repo etc so you know you could be an asset to the team uh let me see where dwayne says i i like this i think you will ask for 10 teams a lot of work well what are what i think i'm i'm gonna do is like pretty much everything that we're going through right now with the first team um the first team that is coming in um whatever problems that they face i'm making videos for it uh for the next team meaning i'm doing the training hey guys this is how you work with asana this is how you got to go in and um work on your projects this is how you decide when a project is done um this is how you move to the next task like i'm creating a course that's going to be completely free for every one of you guys even if you're a member of coding phase or not a member to go to face i'm gonna create a course which is going to talk about how to work in a team okay so like that whoever comes in like that's gonna be a requirement you gotta take that course it's gonna be like a four or five hour course of how to work on a team properly how to figure out who's the lead who's who can actually take over a team um you know if somebody slacks how to call them out on it like there's certain things that you gotta learn um you know when it comes to working with a team that i feel like everybody could get and i'm gonna make it completely for free for you guys for every single one of you guys because i think everybody should get this uh let me see let me see that uh cash says i know of three next three next why i need to join in the internship um you gotta email me 87 lux at 87 lux agency gmail.com so let me show you guys real quick and not for nothing but shout out to to this kid uh shanji all right sean jay shanji i can't i don't know if i'm saying that right but shout out to him okay he's super talented i think that that kid and you know even after the internship i think i might give him a position at coding face uh because he has a lot of talents and the kid he's working hard what i like about him is that uh let's say for example you know we gave the task that we needed a design for the website it's a flooring website and the dude knocked out the design in a few hours put it up it's like hey man design is done right and i really like that right there's a thing a couple of things that he could improve on but i think where he's at once he finished this internship he's gonna be solid and i think that he's the type of person that i would like to have in a team because he's a go-getter shanji yeah man i think it's shan i'm gonna call him shan um because i don't know if it's shanghai shanji uh so i want to just call him shan uh but let me show you guys what he worked on um this is all from the internship guys shout out to everybody who's in the internship everybody's in there we got a kid called leon we got uh a girl named naomi and we also have another thing another kid called nick so we got shanji nick leon and naomi shout out to them they're doing great great work uh by the way we also have a discord for the people that's in the internship in every team so every team has a discord channel so as new teams come in uh just know that go to the discord this is how you're gonna go in and communicate with each other all right so let me go ahead and share this with you guys oh by the way just to point this out uh new html css course okay if you guys want to go if you remember codingface.com go check it out new c html css course definitely go check it out uh i'm building the project the final project for it right now a whole bunch of videos were uploaded yesterday i think we uploaded um about 12 to 16 videos so if you are a new member of codingphase.com eight you just got a brand new html css course um and a lot of new content and then from there we're jumping into a new javascript course and then from there we're gonna jump into a new react course uh all of this in the month of january so you're gonna get a lot okay if you're a member of codingface.com you're good to go for this year okay uh if you're not a member of codingface.com click the description guys 50 off for the next three days and then it's gone no more 50 50 off um for the rest of the year okay maybe for black friday but i don't know if you want to wait a whole year to get a 50 off you know might as well just get it now and start your year off okay um so let me share this with you guys so this is the design that shanji did shout out to him pretty nice pretty uh legit okay i really like it let me see if i could zoom in on this although i'm in the wrong screen so he even made a um a logo for it which is cool alexis flooring so this is the website the first website that they're going to be building alexis flooring um basically this is how it looks pretty nice pretty straightforward okay i think he did great man this is the service page that they're working on this right here is the gallery page where it's gonna show all of the the works from this guy alexis then from there you're gonna have a contact us page and then this is a contact us page with an faq frequently asked questions okay i don't know if you guys can see it but the guy did a really good job man i think we're gonna have a really good team for this first internship man hopefully we continue with having uh more interns like this um shout out to shanji great great work man you know regardless if we start getting more teams i think what i'm gonna do is i'm i might give him a position at 87 lux just because i feel like he's a go-getter he's he's grinding again he's grinding i like his work it's very nice and clean and he also does uh front-end development so not only does he do design but he's also doing front-end development i believe he he lives in sri lanka if not if i'm not mistaken but the kid is talented man you know what i mean uh let me see [Music] hope hopefully you will shanghai says uh ram says sanjay is indian hopefully you will not hate indians from new york from now joe i don't hate indians who said i hate indians and i don't hate indians man i got a lot of indian friends man um that's yo you know hopefully you don't i don't hate no indians bro you bugging where you got that from uh if i'm not mistaking ram you you from india too and i like you so where you got the idea from um but yeah i took a course called learning how to code because i was really helpful that an answer problem helped me a lot great um yeah kid is talented man shout out to him man there's a lot of people that that's from overseas that have a lot of good talents uh love from india i really i am really stuck how how to con be consistent bro have try for building the problem solving but end up burning out how to deal with this look my advice when people start getting burnt out you gotta work on projects that you're passionate about and things that you're gonna have fun with okay because if you're just coding to code or you're just learning to learn like it's not gonna be fun like i'll be honest coding is boring taboo i'm like somebody comes in they're like you're not supposed to say that no coding is boring okay let's just be honest it's not like when you're hanging out with your friends it's not like when you're outside socializing it's not like when you go to a bar you're chilling with somebody nah it's not that it's just you in front of a computer solving a problem and it gets very frustrating sometimes when you know you don't get the solution that you want or things don't work or you can't find a bug right it gets boring but what makes it better if you're working on a project that you're really passionate about or a company that you're really passionate about and you you're enjoying the projects that you're building for them you know what it's not boring no more it's actually fun because now you're building something that you want to build and something that you want to learn um so that's my advice if you're getting burnt out right you know work on projects are good that you could really enjoy number two take a break right take a break it's okay to take a break go relax chill go outside come back fresh okay and then from there you you get back in the zone you don't have to go in and just put your head down on your keyboard until you figure out the problem sometimes by you stepping away from it you'll be able to solve the problem because as you're doing something else new ideas come up to your head because the good thing about being a developer is that you you never really quit like a problem like even though you might have a problem you might go in and be like oh i'm gonna go take a swim or go to the beach or go somewhere right but you're still thinking about that problem but now you're thinking about it while you're doing other stuff so there's no no longer no pressure no more of like man am i dumb because i can't solve it right now it's like nah walk away from me you'll get back to it okay and you'll find a solution to it trust me um let me see v security says how to work remotely from india uh good question um my advice if you were looking to work remotely from india my advice is to look for things that have uh you know jobs that are remote right so if you go to a remote okay i o right you could check this out me see if i can share the screen for you guys this is a website that hires people remotely okay so if you look in here you will find a whole bunch of different jobs that are hiring remotely right now and most of these companies they're not like when you go to indeed.com where sometimes there's people that they put in a job position but they're like oh yeah we're gonna put up job position we're gonna interview everybody and we'll hire somebody next month or in two months most of these companies that's here they're looking for somebody right now so you wanna go in and start looking through here to see what exactly is it that most of these companies are looking for okay like let's say for this one front end developer okay html css javascript okay you can do that all right optimizely convert vbw okay so this is software that you might be able to to learn or even check on youtube there's probably a tutorial right um again you could go in and look at everything that's in here and just email them see if you could get that position all right now another thing is what i will say damn this you got to go back let me see there we go yeah so what i would say for this is also too to look for something like upwork right so upwork let me go in see if i can log into it upwork is another website that is hiring people remotely um it's more like gigs but i've seen a lot of people that go in there and have gotten hired for like long-term projects so let's see okay there we go so again also too is the technologies and stacks that that really hire people so give you guys an example um one thing that you will see online is like people will go in and talk about different stacks that they think are are like the the most popular ones and that everybody should learn but to be honest with you if i lived in india i'm not focusing on the things that people are learning here in the us because people here in the us are learning stocks or sorry not stocks stacks to get jobs right when you live in india pakistan dominican republic any of those countries you gotta find a way for you to make money you cannot compare yourself or compare your situation to what guys in in the united states are going through or what they're learning so here nobody tells you oh go learn wordpress but if you see here wordpress developer needed for uh ux improvement like this is something that most of the guys that are from india this is what they're focusing on because there's a lot of jobs and gigs for this okay if you go in let's say for example search html search for jobs and always start with the simplest things sometimes people want to go in and start learning like the most difficult things and think like oh this is going to make them valuable it's like nah you could get paid even from the beginning front end html css specialist pixel perfect interface writing right 15 to 20 an hour now 15 to twenty dollars here in the united states is is not that much but in india that's a good start that's a good start while you're still building your you know your skills so and even here in the us too like there's people that's broke right now there's people don't even have money right now and they'll deny this opportunity they'll be like oh damn 15 20 yet just a week ago two months ago they were working in a restaurant and they were paying them seven dollars an hour right or they were working in a warehouse and they were getting 12 dollars an hour but they'll go in and say i won't take a 15 20 job right that's what they'll do here in the u.s and so my advice for those of you guys that are in india take advantage of this the [ __ ] that the the guys here in america are are leaving behind and they're like oh i shouldn't learn this because i'm trying to get a job at google and this isn't that this is how you guys get money okay um shout out to the guys from from gameball so it's gameball io i believe what's uh let me see shopify app it's a game ball yeah shout out to the guys at gamble right they're actually from egypt from egypt right now they're actually making shopify applications they have this shopify application and they're making a killing i wouldn't be surprised that they're making fifty eighty 000 a month right most of the guys here in the united states they're not looking towards shopify development they're not looking towards wordpress development wordpress theme development they're not looking at drupal they're not looking at uh big commerce they're not looking at those things you know why because they put a big carrot in front of them here in the us and say hey you could get a job at google for 120 000 so everybody else is trying to get into those 120 000 jobs 180 000 jobs whatever it might be right but they're missing out on this opportunities if you live outside of the united states take these opportunities and take advantage of them nobody's going for them the guys here in the united states don't even want to go for them nobody's talking about these things right one thing that i noticed in in the last few days is that damn man the guys that live outside the us they have a different game plan the guys here the whole goal is to just get higher at a company but you know because maybe they'll get a good salary or whatever it might be but if you live in india you live in zimbabwe you live in nigeria do you think google is going to go in and hire you you might live in a village nobody knows you nobody else codes nobody does anything over there you're going to say like how you're gonna reach to google it's gonna it's a long journey right so most of those guys are living outside of the us they're thinking you know what how can i get google money from here without having to work at google right a lot of guys here in the us miss out those opportunities like wordpress and and uh shopify apps and and themes and in a different million ways like you could sell you could create literally you could create a image gallery slider and you could sell that online and make more money than guys that's working here full time so i'll give you guys another example so if you right now in india where where the hell you at and you're thinking how can i get a job in the u.s stop planning your life for what's happening here make things work for you over there you could actually have a better lifestyle than guys that live here do you know that most of the guys that's living here they don't even have a house they don't even have a place to stay at they're living with roommates i know a couple of indian dudes that came from from india and they thought that they was gonna have this amazing lifestyle is america this this and that they got in a h-1b visa right living in in san francisco and then now they've got to lift four of them in a two-bedroom apartment four of them in a two-bedroom apartment right paying crazy expensive prices i mean that's what was happening before i don't even know if they got let go right uh because of coronavirus or my whatever might have happened but those guys are super talented right you know that they were going to be good they came here and then they realized [ __ ] this ain't what what the movies look like you're going to say what you see on tv it's not the same thing that you're going to see in real life right this is a movie called valuena baluena which is a dominican movie let me see if i can find it for you guys too so i could give you guys this if you live outside of the united states uh let me see if they have it if they have it with the subtitles um let's see do they have to subtitles uh subtitles let me see that uh because the movie is actually in spanish but it's a really good movie for people that they want to come to the united states and they think that they're going to be so they're going to have so many opportunities and so much [ __ ] that in reality it doesn't work like that like you come to the u.s and a lot of times you might not even have the opportunities that you thought you was going to have so this is the movie it's called balbuena nueva 1995. it's a movie from 1995 of a guy that lives in dominican republic my home country who they told them hey when you get to the us yo there's so much money everywhere there's opportunities everywhere you go right and when he came here he ended up working in a restaurant he ended up working in some [ __ ] you know there's a lot of guys that come here to the us with the dream of like hey i'm gonna be a doctor i'm gonna be this isn't that end up being an uber end up working at a gas station end up working at dunkin donuts and there's nothing wrong with that but that wasn't what they really came here for they came for for bigger dreams so my advice is you know think about how you can make it big where you at you know the u.s is great to travel to u.s is great to come in and you know and maybe live here a couple of years a couple of months whatever it might be but if you could live like a king in your own country hey stay in your country man that's what i would do you know um because i see a lot of guys like i said those guys at gameboy like they live in egypt bro you think they're not living good with 80 000 a month right they live in like kings they got to bring down the golden hookah for them you know what i mean like when they when they stop by the shorties is like oh look at the guys from game bringing the golden hookah and got the shorties dancing the little come into them you know what i mean bottle girls but again but what i'm saying with this too is you know i feel and i'm going to make another video about this too talking about how here in the u.s i realized like why i grind so much and i see that so many people that that's here and you know in the us and guys that have been here that were born here you know they not doing as good as me and most likely won't be able to do as good as me unless they change their mindset right and is people have certain privileges that they think that they they deserve right and people also too become complacent right they just contempt with whatever happens for them right it's like hey i got a job i'm good it's like nah you got to continue growing got to continue pushing from there you know and i see a lot of people in the u.s that their goal is to just go work at a company right and sometimes they'll miss out opportunities like there's companies out there that will hire you for maybe fifty thousand sixty thousand dollars and people will be like nah i'm not taking that job why because they seen some guy on the internet get a offer for ninety thousand a hundred thousand dollars at a tech company but yet not realize that the skills that they're going to learn at that smaller company is going to be more beneficial for them right it's going to be way more beneficial because if you go work at let's say for example an e-commerce company right and you're working there as a junior developer you're getting 50 60 000 you know what you learn you learn a skill that is you can't even put a price on it right you learn how e-commerce works you're actually seeing how somebody comes in gets a product seller sells it online right you're actually building their website you're maintaining their products and you're seeing how customer service works you're seeing how all of this things is working there and you know what happens with that now you have that knowledge that when you leave out of that company you're leaving out of there with that with that information to be able to build that same type of company that you was working for you get on saying so people will miss out opportunities for extra twenty thousand dollars uh extra thirty thousand dollars that's nothing you know when i was working for companies this is something that most people know and some people don't know right i never got paid a full salary above 120 000 i never got paid a salary above 120 000 i got offers for 120 140 right i even got 145 but you know what i didn't take those jobs because i was already making 50 80 000 on the side so that gave me the the experience and not even the experience the the freedom to choose the companies that i wanted to work for so i chose companies that were gonna pay me on salary 80 90 75 but you know why because i wasn't attached to to that bowling chain of i need to get paid as much as i can because i need this money now i was already making that type of bread right so what i did was i applied to those companies that were giving me big offers i took those meetings when i used to work contract and then the the guys from hr and the project manager is like hey would you like to work for us full-time i took the meeting i wanted to see what they would offer me right did i take it no because i'd rather work on companies and things that's gonna help me grow individually if i work for example if i work for viacom and all i'm doing is doing like the contract work that they had me doing and they wanted me to hire me full time which was creating video players and maintaining their advertisement videos and make sure that uh you know the things that you see now on youtube like the skip ad and all those little things that's what i will be building i wouldn't have learned anything i would have gotten a nice check and you know what would have happened i would have been stuck to that check and that's my only growth that's as far as i go right but i chose differently i said you know what i'm going to go out and i'm going to go and learn from companies i want to go and work on projects that are cool i want to work on stacks that i'm comfortable with that i'm having fun with i'm going to go and work at companies where i could see how things work i want to see how they do their marketing i want to see how they do their facebook ads i want to see how they do their you know their landing pages how is it that they do the emails how email conversion works how do they do all of these things so then now when i quit those jobs i'm leaving out of there with that experience and that knowledge to then build my own [ __ ] so most people here in the u.s don't think like that and i realized that the main reason is is because they live here in the us they don't have you know i see it a lot of people don't have that grind in them but one thing that i noticed is that a lot of people that live outside of the u.s that don't have all of this opportunities of just working for somebody and getting paid a nice salary they make those opportunities for themselves this is why when you go to wordpress themes on theme forest and you check out let's say for example wordpress right let's go into let's say this i don't know let's see one that's popping let's say avada right avada most of these companies that you'll see they're not even based in the united states most of the people that create opportunities for themselves they're not built in the united states they're actually built in europe countries like poland countries like uh germany uh the ukraine uh what's the city what's the the place where prague is i don't remember was the prague that city there's a lot of people in prague there's a lot of people in italy there's a lot of people in freaking in in freaking new was a new delhi there's a lot of people in the philippines they're making opportunities for themselves while here in the us they just guys are just preparing themselves to go work at a company and just like i'm just gonna work there without trying to build all of the extra skills that's going to make you successful you're basically funding or working somebody else's dream instead of working your own dreams and that's what happens a lot of time you know so if you live outside the us you got to go you got to go and make opportunities for yourself man like go to upwork look at the things that's there that people are hiring for right i see a lot of people that they focus so much on what's going on on youtube what's going on on on freaking on twitter what what got the most likes what got the most stars all of that [ __ ] means nothing right the biggest cms in the world nobody pays attention to it here in the us and you know what most of the influences are here in the us and they're giving what people want to see most people here they want to see the trending things that's not going to get them results they want to see [ __ ] that's going to get get them views and it's going to be cool right what are you really here for are you here to work on the cool things or are you here to get a bag get get paid get your money up you know prague is in the czech republic shout out to prague in czech republic you know what i mean uh roosevelt gainey i've been sitting on the sideline for a while what's the best way to get started as a full stack also a realistic timeline to get decent at the skills okay good question so what i would say is go to codingphase.com you know i'm gonna say that right so on codingface.com we have all the courses that you need to become a full stack developer but another thing if that i will say is focus on skills that's going to get you hired not focus on the skills that you see everybody else's is learning okay focus on things that's going to get you higher because there's no point on you becoming a full stack developer on a scale that you won't get a job okay keep that in mind that's the first thing that you want to keep keep in mind number two you want to go in html css javascript right you're going to need those three things no matter what html css you could learn within two weeks it shouldn't take you any longer than that if it's taking you longer than that then you gotta go in and really reevaluate if this is for you because sometimes things is not for everybody let's just be honest so if it takes more than two weeks you have to realize and be like okay is this really for me this is really what i want to do either you're not putting in the right time or it just might not be for you right the next thing is javascript right javascript is going to take you at least a month to get comfortable is a month and a half to two months and you're only gonna get better by doing projects okay then from there what i would say focus on a little bit of node.js right so you could continue learning more javascript but whether jobs are really going to be at for you is php so you want to go and learn php once you learn javascript php is super easy to learn okay and then just start building full stack applications um think of any idea anything that you could think of like how can i create a website where people need to register people need to save their information save the data how about you create a website where people could create a journal right a journal super simple right it's a private journal where they could keep track of what happens every single day it's like a it's like a timeline their own personal timeline hey what did i do today what did i do tomorrow know what i'm doing tomorrow whatever whatever it is right a journal create a blog right create um you know create try to create a very small social network very small social network small features people can register people can log in people can go in and and post uh a text and people can follow each other that's it keep it simple but with that it's gonna give you the the skills that you need to understand how full stack web development works and then from there just start applying to jobs okay start applying to jobs and and and really put yourself out there if i was to give that main advice is focus on php in my sequel you're going to get a job almost instantly almost instantly if you go into the mern stack or like you're going to know js there's too many people going for that you want to go for things that nobody's paying attention to right and that there's not enough people to fill in those jobs right like one of the things that most people don't even know because i know about this because i worked for a lot of years in the the whole php community the whole laravel community is that most companies hire remotely for php developers and people think that it's because oh they're outsourcing because it's cheaper no they outsourcing because nobody wants to do it right there's a reason why influencers get called influencers they influence people right a guy on a comment section has influence a guy on a youtube channel has influence a guy on twitter with 20 000 followers has influence and when those guys come in even joking around saying oh php is dead you know what happens less people go in and learn it so i give you guys an example uh i just dropped a video talking about the five projects that you should build to get hired as a php developer okay five projects i use the same thumbnail that's on this live stream for that video okay so i'm gonna show you guys this okay i'm gonna show you this right here whereas in give me one second okay there we go this is the analytics of that video okay this video only has 3.1 000 views 3.1 000 views now how much views do you think this video will have if this thing said five javascript projects five python projects five flutter projects how many views you think this video will have it would definitely have way more than this way way way way more than just 3 000 views okay in what like five six days it will have way more than that now and i know this because if i go into my other videos that i've done before press the wrong button i can see like this one is already popping off but i could see that this video you know i mean this one's not a really good example but this videos that i've done that is for like javascript projects that have done way higher than that okay and it's because again people are looking at at this and saying hey php is dead php this and that people have influence people have influenced each other to believe that so companies are hiring remotely this is what people are doing this is what companies are doing they hire remotely because there's not enough php developers here in the united states nobody wants to do it right they don't want to do it because it's not cool it's not the latest thing but if you want to get a job and you want to get paid as a developer it's the best place there's not enough people that that does it and you know what people are going to choose to hire you then hire a guy six seven hours away where they won't be able to communicate constantly you're gonna say one guy is going to sleep another guy is just waking up here in the u.s like you know like they don't want to hire remotely but they have to because people come in and be like oh i don't want to do this anymore i want to go and focus on something else right nice just now it says php is powerful tool it is uh let me see coding versus wordpress that question makes no sense and i'm gonna tell you why because coding is the same thing as building wordpress themes or wordpress applications or plugins or you know fixing you know whatever new features that people might want on their wordpress website right this right here is one of situations where it's like they already got to you they already got to you they they already put in your mind of is wordpress really coding yes is warpers really development like when i started talking about shopify people was like shopify and when i start talking about wix next week people's gonna be like wix as if you're not building tools and applications within these platforms like you know what i mean but that that question i don't know what we can do with that question uh wordpress is more than page builders more depth should utilize it yep let me see reading through here shout out to matthew p you can't put a price on the heart of gold joe has to help bro shout out to you john yeah man shout out to you uh let me see yeah create a personal budget web app joe dropping gems pick him up man uh yeah php is not hard i need to pick it up where i left off learning yeah my advice is look you gotta ask yourself what are you here for are you here to just like try to become something become somebody become an entrepreneur are you here to just work for a company right are you here to get paid for the skills that you have or are you here to impress other dudes on the internet or to get validation from other people on the internet you know one thing that i realized too like just yesterday this is one of the biggest things i was like man you know i was talking to a couple of youtubers um shout out to them i'm not mentioning their names to protect their privacy but you know even i myself i fall victim to that [ __ ] of validation validation by others validation by other people and i realized i'm probably doing i probably do the best out of like the top five youtube developers in in the game but i kind of fell victim to validation validation to get a hundred thousand subscribers right validation to get 500 000 subscribers get a million subscribers get that plaque right and i realized i'm like you know with some information that other guys put me on to and i realized [ __ ] i'm probably doing better than the top three youtubers like and i'm over here putting the pressure on myself to try to get that hundred thousand subscribers try to do this and that and i realized i'm like yo i probably got one of the biggest us communities on youtube for when it comes to developers most uh most people have you know most of their their communities are from like how can i say from like india pakistan uh other countries outside of the us my audience is literally 47 48 u.s what does that mean on views i get paid more than the majority of people right my companies that i'm releasing and i'm putting out here we make more income than most people people are just starting to do the things that i've been doing but yet i put the pressure on myself of i need validation all right [ __ ] somebody came up with a list you want to put cutting facing that [ __ ] that [ __ ] unvalidates the whole list right that's my mentality i'm like kanye west i know i'm the best right that's how i live i live my life like that right that's my ego right you ain't put joe on that list that list don't mean [ __ ] no more so right but that's a pressure that i'm putting on myself right but when i go in there i i i see everything from above and i'm like why am i trying to get validation from others when i know what i got right and yesterday [ __ ] was proven to me i'm like [ __ ] i'm thinking guys there are you know what i mean like they work so hard for you to and all this stuff they're only making like five thousand six thousand dollars from youtube doing mad work and i'm thinking about him like yo i'm trying to catch up to this dudes i'm trying to get to i should be at that point and i'm looking around like joe what the [ __ ] you doing with your life you're making like 49 50 000 a month by not getting validated or by not chasing that validation so by not chasing that validation i focus on what was important my bread my companies right i'm not the most popular dude but you know what i probably make one one of the ones that make the most and what do i say this for you guys is that you guys should also think like this right you guys fall victim to the validation of man uh i know the merch stack i do graphql i do uh apollo i do this this and that and flutter just came out now i'm switching i know flutter i know this this and that and i just realized i'm like yo it's the same thing for you guys it's the same thing for me i'm over here trying to validate myself with others and this and that and i'm like y'all doing the same mistake that i would have done if i didn't focus on the bread if you focus where the money is at if you focus on where the actual result is going to be at you gonna say like you're gonna be successful but you need to have this clear this is what i started in 2021 with i know what i'm worth do you know what you're worth you know what you want to do this year do you know what you want to do this year right i know what i want to do this year i'm trying to get this bread i'm trying to get to this ms and i'm very close to it in 2021 i spent a lot of money in this freaking house and all the stuff that i did but this year i'm not investing into anything i'm just saving up i'm stacking up this year right but i'm i'm looking around i'm like [ __ ] man people go it doesn't matter at what level you're at you're always looking for that validation even though you might actually do better by not being validated [Music] it looks like somebody comes in somebody says somebody goes in who was it uh somebody here said um let me see i don't know somebody here said something uh let's see if i could find it it's right now let me see somebody say let me see where is it uh let me see if i can find in the chat uh well somebody said like oh joe you should guess you should go and get um go get sanji to do your your uh go redesign coding phase now oh joe we're going like i feel pressure i'll be like oh maybe i should maybe i should get my website redesigned again and this shit's making money the [ __ ] i need to redesign anything that [ __ ] works i don't need to redesign anything that [ __ ] works oh i you know this happened a few years ago oh man my my website is on wordpress everybody's telling me i'm using wordpress maybe i should switch up to gatsby you know what happened when i switched to gatsby my website seo dropped like crazy like crazy i used to have about 20 000 to 30 000 unique visitors on my website just from seo alone i switched to gatsby trying to chase what was like popular and trendy and [ __ ] like that my [ __ ] dropped to like eight thousand ten thousand a month which actually goes into you losing money if i could go in and codingface.com is making 28 000 30 000 a year imagine with an extra 20 000 people that's coming into the website per day how much money did i lose by chasing something chasing that validation oh i need to back i need to be doing graphic i need to do graphql and and this isn't that 2021 is about the bag this is my new [ __ ] right it's always bring my new [ __ ] i always say get the bag but even myself i put pressure on myself and this is the same thing that you guys going through what should you learn what stack should i learn learn the stack that's gonna get you paid my dude you don't need to to impress anybody in here right you don't need to impress nobody that's in here in this live chat room you don't have to go in and say i know the latest or trendy is and this this and that and all this stuff that's like people that right now they're switching everything that they do to um what's the name of that [ __ ] framework um tailwind tell when css they promoted tailwind css everywhere on youtube on twitter people came in [ __ ] made like 20 different tutorials about telling css hey it's great this isn't that but you know what when you go online you know what people are hiring for bootstrap you know what people go when they go in to buy a theme on themeforest.net you know what they're asking for bootstrap same thing with ujs everybody came in and said oh we should switch up to view yes isn't that you know what's getting people higher react angular stop trying to look for validation stop trying to follow the trend stop trying to do what other people are doing and things like oh maybe what they're doing is good i just realized that yesterday for new year's all this time i've been here like yo why aren't getting no validation why nobody put me on the list i go in and do collaborations i come in and bring and bring 20 people to collaborate with me do you think anybody that has collaborated with me has reached out to joe and say hey joe would you like to do a collaboration with me nobody shout out to dennis ivey and shout out to uh danny thompson right only ones and my boy bobby davis that's it only one so i'll go out my way help other people out but they won't do the same [ __ ] for me so i'm like yo why am i trying to find validation from other people when i'm already the man you know what i'm saying and i'm over here like yo i'm trying to get to that 100k i don't need 100k we make more money than the guys that's half a million plus half a million subscribers plus and we make more money than they know like why am i looking for validation from them that's something that you guys got to learn from me like you're over here trying to find validation what's cool what's trending what's like what you think is perception and and you know smoking mirrors where people might say this is the best stack this is the best thing that you should do not really you need to focus on the [ __ ] that's going to get you paid on the things that's going to get you a job believe it or not the fundamentals html css javascript php mysql your goldings voila welcome to 2008. this is the same [ __ ] that's been used in the industry since 2000 and something right this was the the lamp stack this was like the the killer app in 2008 but you know what the killer app is still killing it in 2020 but nobody's talking about it stop looking for validation from other people's find the [ __ ] that's secure that's really going to get you paid and really going to get you out there you know i learned that [ __ ] this weekend man i realized i'm like holy [ __ ] i'm over here like doing all this stuff and i'm thinking like man i'm about to get up there i'm about to listen bro we've been killing it for years people just now getting to do doing the things that we've been doing the [ __ ] that we've been doing is what people want to do now i've been doing this [ __ ] for three and a half years and i'm thinking in my head oh i'm behind and this and now i'm like i gotta get up there i got one well i'm not up there i got the [ __ ] you gonna say like i got one of the biggest u.s audiences this [ __ ] just made me realize one thing it's like bro you don't need to go out and be like yo be everywhere have what you already have you're already good it's the same thing with you guys you guys are learning to code and you're looking for that next trend the next thing focus on the [ __ ] that's there that's going to get you jobs and gonna get you paid right now don't all this views and all this [ __ ] is smoking mirrors bro all this [ __ ] is smoky mirrors bro like straight up i'm telling you guys so from my experience you know i bring my experiences and and the things that i learned i bring it right back to you guys i'm like yo i put pressure on myself i've been putting pressure on myself for a couple of years i'm like damn why i'm not damned this isn't that you make more money than everybody here [ __ ] you putting pressure on that's like if i go in that's like when i fell when everybody's telling me damn your wordpress your websites on wordpress your this and that your website gets more traffic than everybody else who's using gatsby why are you switching up so learn from me learn from the [ __ ] my mistakes is why i give you guys advice all the advice that i give you guys is [ __ ] that i wish somebody would have told me if somebody would have set me down three years ago and told me joe joe whatever you're doing is working you good you don't need to focus on anything else right i wouldn't even put no pressure on myself or anything like we good we gucci same thing for you focus on the thing that's gonna get you paid you're not here to you're not here to impress nobody bro it's like somebody comes to my my my website or comes into a uh a project that i've done or a shopify application and they'd be like well you could you should have done it like this and you should have used bem on this classes and you should use this this and that and then you're like wait hold on i make more money than you shut up look straight up that's like a guy the same thing for you guys you're gonna be going to to job interviews and getting hired while a guy is going to come on the internet and say oh you focus on php that [ __ ] is dead he said he's in a basement and his mom still sending 200 applications while you send out three and next thing you know you got all three interviews who you trying to impress you don't need to impress nobody bro you do not need to impress nobody you don't need to validate yourself with what other people are doing social media don't matter what level it is social media is all smoky mirrors comment sections all smoky mirrors and and just hate focus on you it's 20 21 man gatsby is trash next js is a million times better than gatsby gatsby is trash bro i'm telling you from experience as a business owner it was the worst thing that we did switched to gatsby it was the worst it's trash bro wordpress is a million times better you get better seo when you go in and you build a website your website [ __ ] ranks in in three days you build a website go do the test build two websites build one website with gatsby build a website with wordpress i guarantee you who's gonna get ranked first that [ __ ] is trash when you when you hear about your brain when you're here for business move right you're here for a certain reason you're here to get paid you're not here to impress nobody gatsby is one of those technologies tell tell wings another one of those things that it's just trending to say well i just built my website on on gatsby and then we're also using uh netlify lambda functions and we're also using graphql to load up this data from this other from uh [ __ ] firebase and we're also connecting it to here and by the way we have apollo to render this and do all this extra [ __ ] that's a waste of time bro you're not trying you're here to get paid or you're here to impress people you cannot do both there's a reason why guys still build applications on something like ruby on rails because they need to build something that works quick ruby on rails the best framework for that php laravel is the second best framework for that okay it's not the trendy [ __ ] oh can we build it with node.js and express and spend three weeks trying to figure out which one is the best library for doing the most basic things when you have a full stack framework like ruby on rails or php label that you could build your product and get it out there right away yeah go ahead go go to that world go to node.js and express and and go kill yourself in that yeah go ahead when you're here for the break you're here for results you're not here to worry about that and that's what i'm trying to teach you guys man even i my myself have fallen victim to it because sometimes you want to go in and be on that trendy wave and be on that bro you could be [ __ ] killing it here you could be here making bread for real focus on what's going to get you paid you could work on all those side projects keep your head tunnel vision whatever you see here on social media is [ __ ] whatever numbers from views from [ __ ] subscriber counts from [ __ ] twitter followers to instagram followers all of that [ __ ] smokey mirrors focus i would say i've gotten more value from guys that have like 500 views or 500 subscribers last night i learned about um some things about uh project management with asana and certain things that is going to facilitate my workflow to be easier and that guy had 500 subscribers i learned more from people that nobody knows then the guys is huge so at the end of the day what i'm saying with that is go in sir i don't even care if you go and subscribe to me and go to codingface.com and you learn from me if you want to learn from me you know i'm gonna keep it real you know i'm gonna give you guys the things that's gonna get you results i'm not gonna give you the [ __ ] that i can guarantee you i'm not doing it for views i'm not doing it for sales i'm not doing it for anything i'm doing it for results if you care what do you care about views or you care about uh who's trending or learning the latest thing you want to impress a couple of guys here on youtube or impress a couple of guys on twitter right like maybe i'm not for you but if you want to get results go to codingface.com that's it but what i'm saying with this is like yo i don't even care if you learn it from me bro php is where it's at that's where you need to be at as a junior developer and focusing on the front end stack html css javascript and react those four things that's it you're golden okay so yeah man it's all an illusion they are distractions yup how to have better seo with react gs you got to use something like next gs that's why we are using nextgs nexgs has given us like um a really good a really good look on a framework that that works and it's simple to use and simple to maintain nextgs takes your components from react and then the server-side rendering right or static site rendering so it creates the html css for your website and then it rehydrates the the website with your components once your components load with new data but it already has that html file you know what i'm saying so the static site is there so again next year yes and next year's is like i said it's way better than gatsby i'm telling you guys as a business owner i've lost money using gatsby don't use that [ __ ] maybe when i used it it was still early stages whatever it might be but don't use it that's what i was saying i don't like gatsby i lost money with it once somebody tells me hey i lost money on something you know what i don't go there because i could tell you guys i don't like it and that's an opinion when somebody comes in and tells i lost money with it don't don't [ __ ] go that way bro like that already tells you something if you go that way you got to be stupid like that's just how it is you got to be stupid that's like you're a masochist that's the word right somebody that likes to get a little spanky uh getting tied up you're masochists you like getting tied up you like getting spanked go that way i don't like getting spanked i do the spanking you know what i mean so yo it's true bro this is the best of the match i got this game personal uh let me see you all depends on what's going on introvert getting job even though i'm working focus on 100 that i don't so joe is this advice in accordance with 20 to 100 or the year you you've been using gatsby look do whatever you want go use gatsby if you want i got a couple of friends that work for them so shout out to them and and the people that work over there they're good peoples but i wouldn't recommend it if i lose money on it i'm not touching it i don't give a [ __ ] if they fix it oh we fixed the bugs we fixed this and that like i'm good i don't need to touch it i don't want to touch it i learn i don't i don't get tricked twice i got tricked once i don't need to touch it no more right but what i'm saying with this is like you got things like wordpress that works it works it's not sexy it's not the latest thing it works you get what i'm saying it works and if you really want to have everything done with javascript use nextgs and then use wordpress as a headless cm cms but the problem with with doing that is that you're kind of losing a lot of the the extra perks that come with wordpress the the framework this hat this hat is from um it's the championship championship uh uh how you call it the bolts tampa bay boats i think that's the name of that team from florida you see the you see the you see the the map you see you know where i'm at tampa uh joe is there any discount code for the lifetime membership yes uh lifetime membership is 50 off everything is there 50 off the whole website is 50 off kids take advantage again what i'm telling you guys with this is focus on what's going to get you paid guys php you're going to be good okay believe it or not i'm telling you guys ahead of time it's like do you want to focus on impressing people here online or do you want to see results what's better you come back and be like hey guys i'm working or hey guys you know i got my website built with graphql when i connect the apollo with this and i'm using mongodb but at the same time we're using firebase and you know what we're also building a mobile version of the website with flutter right you want to be that guy with no job or you want to be the guy that's like oh yeah you know i applied to a couple of jobs i work in an agency yeah i do some wordpress themes yeah do some shopify uh at the same time we also do custom applications with laravel you want to be that guy that's getting paid or you want to be the guy that's just like [ __ ] throwing up any trendy trendy freaking term that is on on the development you know communities this isn't you know what i mean a memphis tells her i know a friend like that joe and he's broke too like that's just how it is and it's not saying that it doesn't happen but it's just too much competition in that world right now too much people in there right if you came to my channel right think about it like this you're you're actually you're actually blessed you're privileged to found that you have found my channel because i'm gonna be honest with you i'm gonna be real with you right i'm not getting no views i'm not getting no freaking sales like look right now like i'm over here talking to you guys about real [ __ ] that's happening and things that's gonna go down for for your career do you think this converts like let's be honest do you think this converts like me talking about all this stuff like somebody might come in here well he always says codingface.com his channel is about converting people to his channel i come here and tell somebody hey you could go and learn at codingface.com but do you really think that this converts this doesn't convert this doesn't convert new new signups right people that go in and find value go in and sign up but this doesn't convert i'm just being honest with you guys and telling you guys like hey this is what it is you want to get paid this year you want to get higher this year focus on the stack that i'm giving you html css javascript php mysql react on the front end and then from there if you want to work on some themes and some static websites use next ges is a great framework the best framework that i've seen when it comes to react there's so much good [ __ ] in that next jesus is amazing like right now i'm building all of my themes all of my themes are themes that i'm selling in static websites right then from there i'm selling them for shopify themes then i'm also converting them to wordpress themes but you know what what facilitates my whole flow next ges so that whole html css javascript and react part of things gets freaking facilitated by next gs and then from there i just go in and swap out whatever backend things i need to add for the frameworks or for the uh themes on the front end to work with the back end for whatever framework i need to use it for that's it simple you know and [ __ ] works it's not like what people come in like like i said some guy shows up like i got graphql i got flutter i've got uh firebase i got uh this this and that the teletubby framework that just came out yesterday and none of them are making money none of them are [ __ ] got a business none of them got a [ __ ] income that's coming in from the [ __ ] that they're building but yet they'll tell you to go and learn this thing it's like nah bro i'm not doing that not in 2021 so what is nextgs exactly is just a server-side rendering javascript framework similar to laravel for php no so it's it's a framework it's it's pretty much it's a framework to create uh server-side components to be able to render right if you go in and you could do it manually but that's a headache so this guy's there's a couple of guys that are smart enough to go and set that up so now you could go ahead and have a custom website um so for example you could have custom server so you could use express you could use um what's the other one express next you could use any framework that you want for your back-end have nextgs render your server-side views then at the same time you can just use nextgs for rendering your static files so it just compiles it for you so there's like so many multiple uses for it have a friend who is interested in the internship where should i direct her um send her to 87 lux agency gmail.com 87 lux agency at gmail.com 87 lux agency gmail.com no one should be forced to write code in php is not true that php's still around and gurling gulem do you work for anywhere how much money you're making writing other applications we're gonna wait this is exactly what i'm saying dudes those come in there's like yo that's not even working that's not making no money that is not really out here like that working for peanuts and dudu that's to do that will tell you you shouldn't be using php this [ __ ] is horrible i rest my case your honor yeah all right and again i'm not saying that that you shouldn't learn node.js right but the truth is that there's more jobs with php there's more opportunities with php if there's 20 jobs with node.js and there's 65 with php where do you think people should be going to php right there's more opportunities more chances so i'm getting higher but you know what happens because there's so many influencers and so many people that go in and say no gs is the [ __ ] this isn't that node.js is great but node.js doesn't even have enough things like like there's no framework there's literally no framework like php laravel in no the whole node.js community there's not one framework the only one is adonisjs that's close to it but there's not one framework that could expedite your projects and you could build projects as fast as something like laravel or ruby on rails there's not i've been in this [ __ ] for a long time and this is something that people don't understand people care about creating something that's trending more than creating something that works and that they can build fast keep that in mind people come in and they they focus on what's trending instead of focusing on something that's gonna get them work right away or to go in and to actually build a project or build a product quick and get it done you know and i'm not saying that gurlene is is wrong no no gs is good but the truth is is that 90 of the people that show up on any live stream or comment section and be like hey php is dead you don't have enough experience to even say that you don't even have enough projects that you could say this [ __ ] is dead you've never done it there was another youtuber a few years ago that has never he had never worked he had never worked and was telling people on on youtube hey you shouldn't learn wordpress wordpress is the place where dreams go to die mind you this is this dude that's trying to find a job that's doing youtube doing free code camp and and [ __ ] telling other people you shouldn't learn this you don't even have a job and you're telling people [ __ ] how to get a job and what they should focus on you know what i'm saying like like that's what i'm saying with that you know uh but the the truth is and the sad truth is that they're not gonna go most people we're we're not influencers we're not influences like i come here i'll tell you guys what it is but let's be honest do i have influencing here probably not i'm not influencing nobody the guys that people come in and be like whoa this guy got a million subscribers and right those guys have influence i don't have no influence in here right i could come in here and tell you guys hey guys i just made a million dollars on this thing and you think people is going to stop what they're doing even though there's a million dollars in this thing then people are going to listen to me nah very few people so am i going to be able to change the whole industry and change it to hey go to work php go to wordpress go this is not no i'm not i'm just talking to the people that will listen to right now the people that don't want to listen to they're going to come in and they're going to look at me like oh this is a crazy person it's 20 20 and he's still talking about bhp he's still talking about wordpress like you know what i'm saying like that's how they come in here and they're looking at me like i'm a crazy person right but yet we're making money all this [ __ ] but yet the people that's focusing on php and wordpress they make a killing you know one of the things that i regret the most is that in 2012 right i stopped working with like wordpress because then at the end of 2012 i switched to another company and i started working with um php laravel and things like that but now looking back bro if i would have started in 2012 doing the same thing that i was doing with niche websites instead of doing that i would have just continued doing wordpress themes bro i probably would have made a couple of millions just on wordpress alone but you know what i also was a victim to the [ __ ] communities to the comment section to comment sections on forums to reading a blog hey no js is the biggest thing they know js just killed ruby on rails this this you gotta say like like i fell victim to it too it's like people that that stopped everything that they did there's people right now they were learning react they stopped everything that they did they started learning vue.js and then now they can't even find a job because they're not even prepared enough to get hired right they want to start learning vjs there's no jobs for it so what happens now now they go in and they realize everybody's asking for react now they got to double track back go and learn the new things to happen in react and make their projects instead of making their view now they got to make him react they were already learning react but they felt trapped to the [ __ ] the zombie horde of like just [ __ ] people coming in you gotta learn php whatever there's a view yes don't learn that it's like man shut up like i'm here for the bag i'm here for the bread bro i'm no longer here for impressing a couple of dweeps because that's what you're gonna find online nothing but dweebs everybody thinks they're an expert everybody thinks they know everything people that influencers who are smoking mirrors right i don't want to hear from nobody that's not making half a million dollars enough uh that's that's my that's my new standard right you never built a company you don't make half a million enough i'm not listening to you that's my new standard that's it you don't you don't have eight ten years plus as a developer i'm not listening to you you don't have enough experience to be giving me advice on anything that's my new standard i'm putting that [ __ ] right there i'm putting a line in the sand and saying i'm not listening to nobody because every single time i've listened to anybody else [ __ ] doesn't work but when i listened to the guys that were my elders the guys that were 10 years in like now i feel stupid in 2020 i feel stupid you know why because i remember in there was an agency i was gonna uh i was starting working at and i was that kid that was that young kid i had like what like two three years in and i was like that young kid i'm like oh yeah you know i'm doing no gs and i'm doing this this and that right my senior was like we use php we use this this and that we're using mariadb right and i'm in there like oh but you guys should use mongodb this was like in 2014 2015 and i thought that i i knew something now fast forward that i'm almost 10 years in the game i feel stupid because i'm like dan when you're young you stupid when you come into this game you're arrogant you think that you really know but you don't know [ __ ] there's a reason why guys that's been here for 10 years they stick to certain stacks and they stick to certain things right that's something that i learned with time and i hope that you guys also pay attention to it now everything that you see online is the real shame bro now everything that you see over here you listen to somebody somebody comes in i'll go in right and now i'll go in and i'll give you guys an advice on something that's really going to be beneficial and i got like what 80 90 000 subscribers right a guy with 800 000 subscribers giving you advice you'll go listen to him because oh this person got a clout he got 800 000 subscribers but when it really comes down to this person don't doesn't even have two years of experience well i with seventy thousand eighty thousand ninety thousand subscribers have since 2011 doing this [ __ ] i've seen every technology i've seen everything come and go i've seen frameworks come in be popular for six months disappear i've seen frameworks hang around like vue.js vue.js is hanging around that [ __ ] is not going nowhere people are not going to stop using reacting angular they're not going to stop using it because ujs doesn't solve something that react or angular is not solving so how can they replace something that's that's working it's not doing something different or something better it's not replacing something because it's better it's just hey this is another option it's not going nowhere you're gonna say like unfortunately because it's not replacing what's already there it's not improving on what's already there it's not like it's improving on certain things but it's not enough improvement that it's something new that you could say damn this [ __ ] is a new way of doing it and [ __ ] is so much better it's like nah reacting i'm gonna do the same [ __ ] why would we go and switch up our development environment to use something new train everybody else go through the bugs and all the [ __ ] that people have already been through and that we already hashed out why would we go through that again with another framework so this is what i've seen for years man same thing with php man i'm i'm realizing i'm like yo there's a reason why guys go back to php there's a reason why guys go back to to uh ruby on rails there's a reason why guys go back to to django right there's a reason why guys go back to uh freaking c-sharp asp.net there's a reason that's it all this trendy [ __ ] that you're going to continue to see you're going to see it trending but that doesn't mean that it's going to be whether the jobs or or where you know you're going to get really good results shout out to garlene you got a lot to learn galen view has a what it's called humanitarian reasons behind it it is developed by the community than a giant corporate there's more to life than just money but unfortunately the people that pay the bills they care about money it's not about humanitarian and nothing the guys that's hiring you the guys are choosing which stacks which skills which things you need to learn and the things that you need to work on they don't make decisions on hugs and kisses you know you could leave that [ __ ] for the tree huggers welcome to the real world you know what i'm saying unfortunately you know if it was up to me you know what i like i like isvelt right i really love his belt i love crystal lang right i love my sequel that will be my stack that's it that's what i will focus on but you know what those things don't pay off like that nobody there's no jobs for that stack nobody's doing that [ __ ] nobody's gonna switch over to that so it's either you come in here with a realistic point of view of things or you just you live in la la land you're at home you stay at home without getting paid you stay at home without getting jobs you you come out here and you work for free go work for free for somebody then you know what i'm saying if you're gonna be here for the hugs and kisses i'll give you hugs and kisses i got a lot of work that i get i got to get done if you want i'll give you a hug and a kiss you could work here for free if you want me to do that for you you know i mean i don't live in that world i live in the world of like hey man what are companies hiring for what are companies really sticking to what is something that is going to be secure job security that's what people need to be focusing on all right guys i got a lot of things to do i'm gonna see you guys later um again shout out to shout out to courtney boyd so is the internship real fake no it's fake man i just i i have [ __ ] to do i i just made something up to make it fake and yeah man everything is fake man this house is this is a cgi house this is a a green screen right i'm not really here this is a hologram this is not real this hat is not real this [ __ ] is a hologram i'm actually in the virgin islands right now but this right here is this green screen this is all fake this is all smoky mirrors this is all joe was just trolling us man joe was just trolling us man this is all this is all fake man joe is an artificial intelligence robot this is not really joe my name is lewis oh my god look man you gotta email 87 lux agency at gmail.com okay we already for those of you guys that right now some people some people are freaking like gullible enough that they'll believe that this [ __ ] was fake so let's actually show uh what the the first intern team is working on already um and shout out to uh shanji for making the designs so let's share this one more time because people will run with that they were like some guy that's gullible enough he'll come in he's like damn that guy was he got us hype for no reason this [ __ ] was fake like he he won't even understand that that was like us cracking jokes okay so uh so this is the first project that they working on we're gonna give a preview once they they're finished you know and they send me some work i'm gonna share it with you guys in the community to see so you guys can also also check out the the website once it's live um but yeah so sanji did uh um a logo here this is how the website is gonna look okay pretty nice i like it i actually like it a lot i like what shanji design style he's going for so there's gonna be the landing page let me see can i i think you could do full screen what's the full screen on this thing okay there you go oh let me see can you do why this thing is not i'm trying to go okay there we go see there we go okay so this is how the website is looking like this is what they're gonna be working on so right now this is just the figma files right so they still got to build this okay the service page and this is not real guys this is a hologram this all of this that you're seeing is not a real thing guys okay just this is not really for internship guys um this and this is really this is definitely not a real company guys this is a guy that i just made up this is a like a real fake guy that you know joe just created it right yeah like this is there's really not gonna be a page there's really not gonna be a domain there's really not going to be a real website there's really not going to be guys working on a team uh i bought this off the internet this whole landing page i bought this off the in this internet this is not really an intern that is doing the designs no no no this is fake guys this this is not real look look at this you see how i bounce it off the wall that's green screen guys that's green screen you know [ __ ] the [ __ ] i gotta deal with in youtube this is the [ __ ] that i gotta deal with on youtube bro yo man [Laughter] are we keeping this live stream yeah we keep in this live stream this is a simulation man i'm a glitch in the matrix [Laughter] yeah nice looking page because seller has a theme yeah that's that's the goal right so let's get back into some serious [ __ ] so the goal of this whole internship is to prepare these people from getting the right experience learn how to do this right create this website then at the same time the same templates that they're building i'm gonna show them how is the process to like submit it online get get to selling all of those things even though this theme that we're doing it's already for a company so um again it's a real company called a lexus flooring so like that they could have like a real company that when they put on their portfolio is a real company that they could call in hey did sanjay design your website this isn't that yes he designed the website he built this pages on react does this and that etc like it's a real reference and that's the goal to to get people jobs and get people paid this year so i want to make sure that they get that right experience beats buying i should make figma files available to your yearly subscribers i'm gonna see i mean i'll talk to sean jay that's why i'm thinking about maybe hiring uh sanjay in the the long term because i like how he built that pretty quick like i gave him the details of what he needs to have i gave him some resources and he was able to pick it up very smart kid man he picked it up built the design and he built it in a few hours i like that that's somebody that i want to have in my team so again just like this you see how uh sanji is already shining right and not saying that everybody else project just started but you know from him grinding him reaching out to me through twitter and him showing me that he's really looking to work and really looking to get in this and the turnaround times it makes me feel like i want to have him on my team right so that's another piece of being in the internship program like i want to go in and start hiring more people for my company and even if it's i can't hire you full time if i could give you a gig and say hey man are we going gonna make four thousand dollars from here i'll give you a thousand to be part of the team for this project right like it's good right or maybe we could say hey we need some designs if sanji is working for the company hey we're gonna pay you i don't know 200 300 400 whatever it might be whatever my the budget might be we might you know go in and give him his first break you know uh or even hire him full time and then now it's a different thing a different ballgame you know what i'm saying but this is what i want to see like if i'm going to hire people or i'm going to work with people i'd rather go in and work with people that i know people that have gone through codingphase.com people that have uh the same type of mentality that we have here where they could fit the culture right now i feel like one of those [ __ ] companies what they used to jump i don't know if you could fit the culture like now i understand it why you know if a company tells you that sometimes some people don't fit the the same company's cultures but having this internship allows me to see who could be a really good asset to the team and you know i'm seeing sanjay uh you know shine i'm seeing this girl naomi shine i'm seeing leon shine i'm seeing nick shine right so they just they're just starting you know what i mean but i'm gonna keep you guys updated on how everything goes so let me see reading reading love the new fake imac yeah man uh but like i said man i'm about to head out of here guys now i have to really ask why do people actually hate psp what do you think psp is why do they think that php is that look give you guys a very good reason is because as developers we want to learn new things okay if you guys haven't noticed this um we're constantly reinventing the wheel probably eighty percent of the new things that come out is just reinventing the wheel and out of those 80 things 80 of things probably 89 of those things are not bringing in any new value like it's not bringing in anything that's making things faster it's not improving anything but it's new and when you create something new every energizes you right it re-energizes you when you use something that's new so let's say for example you've been coding and php for the last three years you're like oh man i've been doing this [ __ ] because it's repetitive like once you do web development all of this [ __ ] is repetitive everything is a crud everything is create read up the delete everything is exactly the same thing websites are exactly the same thing that they were five years ago 10 years ago 20 years ago it's the exact same [ __ ] that's happening there's a post request sent from the front end uh data gets saved in the uh through the server sent to the database etc that's it it's the same cycle over and over and over again there's nothing new that's happening but what happens people come in they want to create new tools new things that is replacing what's already there to do the exact same thing that's it right so when php people would talk about it they were like oh this [ __ ] is dead right this [ __ ] is this and that why because people want to jump into something else the guys that get paid as php developers i've seen guys that got jobs as php developers and they'll be like well we should be using go or we should be using node.js or we should be using this and that but it's like but then why do you work for a company that does php then you're telling people to go learn something else and that we should be using something else but you're getting paid the [ __ ] that pays your bills you're not leaving it but yeah you're telling other people to leave it and go do something else and at the same time it's just it's all repetitive people don't want to do the same thing that's why to me i think for a junior developer the best opportunity to get in is through php because the guys that have been doing it for three five years 10 years they don't want to do php they want to jump into python they want to jump into golang they want to jump into node.js okay and then when a company goes and says hey we're hired for a node.js developer and all of these people are applying to it who do you think is going to get priority the guy that just started yesterday or the guy that has five in 10 years of experience yes it's not experienced with no gs but it's 10 years of experience with web development which everybody knows is repetitive doesn't matter what language what stack what whatever you're using it's the same [ __ ] we're doing the exact same [ __ ] in just different languages there is no benefit to use another language over another language little little but little [ __ ] advantages at all like there's nothing there that you could say hey man i can't do this i can't do something in uh php that i can do on no gs every single thing that you could do in ojs you could do on php everything that you could do on php you could do on python everything that you could do on python you could do on c sharp you're doing web development once you're doing web development there's no changes there's nothing new so the way how you energize yourself is by trying new stacks new frameworks it just gives life to you but you're all you're always going to be doing the same [ __ ] yep uh it's not always about who's faster and stronger and you just know you gotta go away the balance flows to okay all right so anyways man i'm out of here guys uh thank you for hanging out with me by the way we have 50 off on codingface.com if you want to go try the website out this is the chance that you have okay 50 off okay it's the last one for the whole year i'm not doing no more 50 off because we're adding so many courses and so much [ __ ] to the website that to be honest with you me selling it at 10 or giving the yearly memberships for 200 is not profitable right it's not profitable for the amount of work that i put in so the most that i'm gonna be doing percentages off after the next three four days is a 30 off that's it most of the videos that you're gonna see is going to say hey get 10 off on codingface.com get 20 off on codingface.com and at a most maybe on black friday i might say get 35 off that's eight i'm not doing no more 50 off so take advantage is it worth it it's worth it there's enough courses in there for you to get everything that you need to become a developer we're talking about over 65 courses just on the monthly subscription if you want to take it up a notch and you want to make money as a developer i will say go into shopify team shopify app development html email development right um i'm also creating a wordpress theme developer bundle so at the end of the day if you want to get into that and you want to get all of those bundles including the salesforce bundle which is coming out pretty soon including the wix bundle that's coming out pretty soon then you want to go and sign up for the whole year take advantage right now because when we are done from this week by wednesday that's it it's over the last day for 50 off is what on january 6 so take advantage okay it is what it is all right stop slacking it's 20 21 you know invest in yourself because if you don't invest in yourself who the hell is going to invest in you that's just the truth all right so i'm gonna see you guys later that's your boy joe back at it again codingface.com take care um matter of fact before we leave somebody asked a good question um taz express does it renew at 50 for as long as you keep it yes for as long as you keep it there's going to be 50 off it's like that's like the final price for you you know what i mean like it's not like oh you're paying 50 now and then you're gonna it's gonna go up next week no it's not gonna be like that okay so take care man peace
