We went on the AMTRAK TRAIN from CHICAGO, IL to BUFFALO, NY.

today's the day we are just about ready to leave for our train ride we're doing an Amtrak trip from Chicago to Buffalo New York to go see Niagara Falls Cole got me this train ride as part of my Christmas gift so I'm excited to get going neither one of us have done a train trip like this before so we're new to this we did a little bit of research on what we could and couldn't bring on the train and what it's going to be like the weather is going to be almost the same as what we have here in Wisconsin so we're packing some warm clothes and going for a long weekend in Buffalo New York come along with us poor lady I wonder if she knows that we're leaving what are you looking at get it no you're just gonna lay there and not look at me hi what's my puppy doing so cold just ordered this new backpack it's the Osprey Porter and that's what he is going to be taking with and he got to fit quite a bit more in here than what he could in his old backpack so he's happy about that and for Christmas I asked for this Osprey backpack it's a two piece where this smaller backpack Clips onto the front here so all my clothes an extra pair of shoes all that kind of stuff are in here and then I have camera gears laptop all of that kind of stuff Chargers everything in there with some snacks and a little update on our kitchen for those of you who are following along in our kitchen remodel still not quite done yet but we just got the cabinet doors painted and installed last night for our uppers there so a little sneak peek there if you're following Along on our kitchen remodel project a lot better oh Bobby and just like that we're in Chicago okay you ready [Music] thank you [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] thank you in the water and I've always wanted to try it I don't think I'm gonna like it I like it it doesn't coconut I don't think you would like it [Music] [Music] border who gets tapbox I do yeah okay so a little bit of tight Quarters here in our little cabin up there is the top across the room you can see that's an identical room we're gonna wait until some more people get boarded and we get going here oh a little folding sink there's a toilet cheese hello I'm peeing in front of you foreign because we're right downtown Chicago it makes sense I pulled up the map on the satellite and I was like I see nothing other than red lines interesting also if you might notice we got upgraded to a different train car and this one's much newer no ashtrays that are closed up no toilet we get a toilet and a shower at the end of the train that way but we still have a little sink here with cups up there okay we're moving see you later Chicago in some ways that was so anti-climactic it turned over to 9 30 and we started moving we're doing it here we go yay Once Upon a Time cold snowy night Cole and Katie boarded a train to Niagara Falls foreign equals on the bottom bunk and I'm going to be up on the debunk I'm gonna go use the restroom here before bed oh Jesus and then I'm gonna brush my teeth in here just because the sink is really fun it folds down here and then to drain it you just hold it back up so let's go check out looks like it's pretty basic in here a lot like an airport or an airplane restroom so there's not much for me to show you in here but um yeah first time using a restroom on a tree that's important to say Dwight oh good morning it's time for breakfast so I forgot to film breakfast but it was um our microwaved breakfast it was okay I got the pancakes and you got something that looked much better I should have gotten the oatmeal breakfast sandwich and now we are just back in our room we've got we are the next stop so probably another hour Erie and then us oh two stops kind of like riding in a car what a battery how'd you sleep okay around 80 miles an hour four minutes early oh that's cool next station Erie fun yeah oh Airport we should do a trip where we have to go on a boat a plane that would be really cool a monorail gondola I mean technically that's a super cool Bridge I want to see it go I don't think they use it anymore look a deer oh we're here time to get off and just like that we are in Buffalo New York thank you so much for joining us on our Amtrak trip from Chicago Illinois to Buffalo New York our next video is going to be from uh Niagara Falls where we got to go on a bus tour we went to the aquarium and ate at Rainforest Cafe so and oh even better yet we went to Old Fort Niagara and had a blast there so anyways we'll catch you on the next video and hope you have a great day thanks bye
