have a confession to make i don't like scary movies i'm pretty sure the technical term for it is oh i'm a [ __ ] honestly i think the main reason i hate scary movies so much is i watched a bunch of them when i was a kid and you know i was a kid so you could kind of get how that turned out bad so now every time i see a horror movie as an adult i just have this weird background anxiety the whole time and i always expect something to be terrible like the jump scare is gonna scare me to hell or or there's gonna be gore that's gonna make me extremely nauseous and then when it gets to the scary parts it doesn't bother me that much so the main reason i don't like scary movies is not because the movie's actually scary but because i scare myself and it's strange because every time i see a trailer for a scary movie i always end up wanting to watch it but since i am a [ __ ] i don't i just end up going to youtube and watching clips or just watching someone review the movie for him so lot of contacts and they're not in alphabetical order it just doesn't stop she's got a lot of friends dude they're really driving home that people have phones dude phones are dangerous 5g man this movie's just really ahead of its time and i was so nervous you know and i'm trying to describe the plot of the love to him okay well this guy's a creep i mean i knew shelley we interned at st luke's together and she was not crazy i know liam but the way that she was talking at the end there was pretty yeah that doesn't mean she killed herself that's not my ringtone oh [ __ ] [Music] it says it's candy in their mouth makes sense i mean i guess if you're gonna die you might as well die with a piece of candy in your mouth an explanation of what's happening and these explanations makes that's normal she wouldn't freak out when she sees that just freak just centipedes crawling inside her friend's hand like her reaction was so just subtle [Laughter] so bad some top tier cgi right there dude that was the dumbest [ __ ] i've ever seen she was compelled up there by the ghost and then the ghost pushed her off i actually wonder if this movie has a 3d version because her body like flung at the camera oh yeah the effects of this movie are great it's like i'm there oh my god what that's that's a severed arm yeah she's dead and she's dialing something the ghosts are doing it it's all the ghosts dude who wrote this it's so weird like the ghosts don't just have phone calls made they have to have someone dial the number it's it's the calling card it's the it's the piece of and then she got candy strange phone call yeah leon told me the same thing happened to shelly before she drowned where are they getting this information those two girls literally said they were the only two people who knew about that so how did they know maybe they uh told people off screen i heard it too so she didn't tell them because she's coming in there like yeah yeah so she didn't yeah so they just know all right the ghost told them oh [ __ ] not the centipedes that's normal don't say anything about that yep don't say hey there's centipedes above your head it looks like he's wearing like a a halloween mask from like a party store that that that was like the cheesiest halloween mask right there oh he got he missed a call uh oh he has one missed call he's in trouble the call came in two nights ago from lehan's phone i don't believe in magic beth i don't believe in anything but ever since i got that phone call things have been weird i've been seeing ghouls and goblins i don't like ghouls i don't like goblins oh my god it's another one it's a ghoul brian dude these these effects man oh my lord look these things work does it get in your head beth hey you're the cycling you know that ryan you're found you forgot your phone i didn't have my head screwed on what the candy oh my god the candy man and what about leanne and the voicemails we checked on that there were no voicemails on your friend's phones what about the hard candies both of these kids were eating them my sister too three people eating hard candy in two weeks okay is it ridiculous to think there's a connection i know what why isn't why is she acting like it's like it's it's a coincidence but it's clearly not like the exact same characters three dead bodies with three uneaten pieces of candy just put in their mouths yeah the exact same candy too yeah how how is that ridiculous to assume detective jack andrews i heard what you were saying in there and my sister jean she died in the fall two days before shelley drowned everybody seems to be linked together somehow something doesn't make sense here so if you think of anything else let me call you didn't get a call did you but my number wasn't right so so the demon creature just calls like whoever's in their contacts yeah yeah that's such a weird way to go about it what if someone didn't have any friends yeah that's the only way to end the killings is someone with zero friends no power no problem any dead people call we're not home oh my god the batteries are out of the phones the ghosts are taking control of the phone speakers oh god oh god oh she has one missed call dude it's the title of the movie she's dead oh my god it shows a little video on the shitty little phone screen just delete all your contacts i know if you know that's how he works just delete everything or just get rid of your phone well the phone is yours so you can do whatever you want with it okay that's the first smart thing they've done yeah yeah started this then we would i was up all night tracking it down i'm gonna go see you now if i figure anything out i'll give you a call they're gonna track the ghost phone the ghost phone to start it all hopefully they don't get one missed call they're gonna defeat the ghost by calling the ghost and leaving a voicemail on the on on the ghost phone then the ghost will die i wouldn't hold my breath nobody's been in there for more than two weeks now and also well whoever marie layton is she's a hell of a housekeeper huh so just no one checked on her for three weeks no family members nothing dude what is this it's a ghost tree with lots of uh honey on it it's ectoplasm you idiot ectoplasm my bad obviously you don't watch ghost hunters why are there action figures of these ghosts that's so stupid i guess the ghost has an asthma problem look if you don't talk to me i can't help you that noise the inhaler i heard it both times before leanne and brian you're right you're right [Music] a other phone you just i'm gonna lose my mind dude the movie needs the ghost to be able to contact the protagonist man obviously he's like yeah i mean i know i destroyed your phone and the main cause of death is the phone itself but here i know let's take it take another phone [ __ ] it oh my god oh that looks so good oh [ __ ] she had poop on her face where are you i think marie layton was in the hospital when it burned down here what if her body's still inside jack she was a sick woman a child abuser so what if her body is still inside and her spirit's there moving through the phones attacking people that sounds so stupid are you kidding me just her describing it sounds so dumb was that that was the inhaler that was the inhaler just squirts the inhaler to freak her out every once in a while yeah go in that's safe the candy better be explained or i'm gonna be angry i know imagine if it isn't that'd be so funny [Laughter] what the hell is that dude that is not a baby if i've ever seen one what the hell is that just a baby playing on a phone dude it's a ghoul baby look at that thing it looks evil where's that pile of [ __ ] in front of it it'd have been funny or feels holding an inhaler it's okay it's okay the hell is that come on let's go the dude's straight up face headbutted the door and left the face in [Laughter] print dang this ghost is a dick yeah is there a spirit here show me a sign [Music] where'd that phone come from there's just random phones placed around the building i guess if you know there's ghosts trying to kill you the best thing you can do is put yourself in a really tight space shove yourself an event yes definitely the best option [Laughter] i knew it was in the walls or some [ __ ] she's holding a phone what the [ __ ] it's still on it still has battery what if she answers the phone and the ghost is just like hey what's up there you go come on come on yeah [Music] heavy breathing she needs an inhaler do you have an inhaler please i need one what she's fine the ghost just wanted to fall to her a little bit i guess the ghost is a a top yeah now this will only hurt a little it was you it was you the whole time [Music] but she always gave me candy there it is there it is god that's so stupid but why is she killing everybody else now i don't yeah it makes no sense don't answer it you're gonna die hi no one's home leave us a message beth listen okay marie wasn't the first these faces dude the first phone call what's that no no wait no what is happening what you're [ __ ] joking me dude what what is this what is this oh my god [Music] what even was that dude the candy is that it yeah i guess that was awful so i think final verdict bad it's bad final verdict just bad just not good it was funny because of all the really terrible cgi yeah because what they they tried to make scary was always funny yeah i don't think there was anything that was genuinely scary ev everything was just like very poorly cgi like the scariest thing they could make is just a creepy mask like is that really it is that all they can do it's just and this wasn't like a small movie apparently this movie was pretty big at the time i never seen it so yeah a lot of it didn't make sense they didn't really fix anything that's what i don't get it's like they did all this [ __ ] and it didn't fix anything yeah i guess the little girl just is gonna keep killing people is there a sequel i love how the the the way that everything was fixed was like the mom finally being taken out of the hospital so she was able to like stop her daughter i guess in the ghost world yeah i guess since she saved the mom at the hospital which again why did the mom at the hospital have a phone that was calling people but was not the demon or the or the girl that was actually killing people yeah that didn't make sense there that was just trying to be like a gotcha moment type thing also why did it become a zombie yeah yeah why exactly was the mom even a ghost so after she they removed the mom's body i guess her spirit's free now and that so she protected just her but the little girl's still gonna kill people yeah they saved the mom but the but i guess the mom didn't like her spirit didn't like activate fast enough to stop the girl from killing the guy it saved the girl but it didn't save the guy yeah well i took it so what took her so long like she could have stopped the kid right after she got saved yeah you know but at the same time she didn't stop the kid because the phone's still ringing oh yeah right she's like put the kid into a phone that's what it looked like which also doesn't make sense because you're putting the kid right back to where the kid kills everyone yeah i don't get it and it also doesn't make sense why the kid's killing everyone i guess because she's mad she's mad that no one saved her after cutting her sister's arm was there anything that you thought was good that deserves a gold star in this movie um i really gotta think about that one i thought the main actress was like at least decent at acting characters were bad yeah like the character in general were bad so i'll that that could be one gold star it was funny yeah see yeah i'm just gonna give it a star because it was funny it doesn't just technically deserve a second star but because of the hilarity of the scary parts yeah i think i could give it a second point honestly i can't think of anything else i like how whenever someone would lose a phone or like get rid of it they're just get instantly again they always get a new one like they never learned i gave it a two out of ten what do you give it i would probably give it a one a one give it a one i mean techn technically it's a one out of ten because the funny it's not supposed to be
