five steps away [Music] i love [Music] [Music] we have arrived in lisbon portugal what's up um it's actually pretty late now i think we got here like six thirty seven yeah now yeah we just like checked in to this like crazy hotel and just wanted to just like rest before we go out because we have to walk like 20 something minutes i think to get to timeout yes this is our first night first night uh timeout market we're gonna check out the the food options there there's some good ones i'm hungry so let's get going what do we have here so our first food has arrived we got it from that stall over there restaurant um so i got the garlic shrimp and then the clams i'm gonna be like doing basically four days of seafood on this trip how many um stalls are there at timeout lisbon uh i don't know but there must be like 20 something yeah this goes all the way down there then around [Music] i must say the shrimp can be cooked a little bit less time maybe just a little steak and fries with like cream sauce cream sauce call themselves or they declare that they have the best steak in all of lesbians okay it's cutting that's really nice yeah how's the sauce very thick very meaty really nice texture yeah now we have an octopus hot dog hot dog oh my gosh it reminds me of uh the lobster rolls right hopefully oh it's tender enough that just breaks off eh how was it do you think it's really nice really good afterwards we are ready for dessert i am ready for dessert this is our first we'll spell it out for you the muncher i don't know from the timeout we'll put on that we'll put it on the screen yeah we'll put it right there um let's give it a try it's still warm which is awesome it was only a euro and 10 um each which is very cheap let's try it i've never had this before it looks like an egg tart like a chinese egg tart but it's not all so different i don't know okay okay so it's a puff pastry and it's got like a custardy almost gelatiny filling and it tastes a little bit more caramel than um than an egg tart it's very sweet i think it's sweeter than an egg heart out of five what is the rating out of five uh because i haven't this is my first one i'm just comparing it to an egg tart i would say i would give it like a four out of five i really like it it's really good arrived at our first coffee spot fabrica coffee roasters i really needed coffee this morning [Music] how's the coffee we got a nice coffee to share okay we've arrived at our next food location fabrica the good job [Music] i want this [Music] should we start with savory first sure let's open up this cod pastry and see oh interesting i did not imagine that inside it looks like a croquette yeah yeah um there's clearly like fish [Music] in it it looks kind of pasty right it looks pasty okay i'm kind of nervous oh it's cold it's cold okay um a little bit crispy on the edges like the skin yeah a little bit chewy and the inside is very soft and fishy but it just tastes like mashed potatoes mixed with fish controversial question coming up next you like this more or bitter ball and more um i'm not going to answer that setting up me for failure there okay let's get into the second hashtag of the trip oh wow okay first off it's not warm like yesterday none tastes less fresh but i think it's flakier look down here i think the pastry is more buttery yeah at this place final reading it's really good though what's the final reading um three and a half okay i think i like yesterday's just a tiny bit more maybe this one could have scored a four if it was one yeah i think so all right so i think we've arrived at this praca the kamasutra commercial um yeah it looks like there's a lot of like landmarks here and a lot of restaurants lining the area the weather right now is very cloudy um and occasionally drizzy but very little [Music] we heard there's a cute terrace on the top of this pollux department store so shall we [Music] so [Music] and although you give this a little bit more structure and some flouriness but not a very aromatic white say more like the french chardonnay less like the american even though shadowing is flapping all over the world you can pretty much be anything it's just not friends okay are we ready for another hashtag this time we're at the natto de lesboa go on in beautiful wow [Music] oh it always smells amazing and i love what's happening all right we've secured another one this is our third one this is at the lisboa shall we it's warm which i love this may be the crunchiest of them all this is so good what what's your rating out of fun i think this is four and a half i think it's better than the first date high melt market yeah me too four and a half [Music] back at the hotel to do a little bit of resting a little bit of work because i'm actually working on a project brand branding project for my business um during this holiday but working on some logo designs you want a sneak peek of what i do and yeah i think we have dinner reservations to get some really good seafood in about 40 minutes so i'm just gonna pump out some work and then we're gonna head to dinner so excited we've arrived at dinner there's clearly a huge lineup um good thing we have reservations so oh my gosh so we ordered tiger prawn by the way we're at this place right here um it's like the top restaurant and everyone talks about it um very expensive seafood restaurant the interiors are very interesting it's like very like friendly rooms like that like that art behind it um so our first dish is here so should we try oh wow it's really good and it's charred oh my gosh [Music] the big guys here we have spider crab and it looks incredible like i have never seen this much spider guts in my whole life can we can we get a side of rice oh get a side of fried rice oh my gosh fried rice yeah that would be incredible okay here's how it's flavored oh my gosh it's super fresh no flavoring i don't even think it's butter but it's just like aren't you supposed to mix it with the sauce here um our dessert has arrived so in portugal it is tradition to eat beef steak sandwich as dessert you gotta get the mustard in here cheers it's extremely soft like you barely even have to bite into the meat that's crazy oh my god next level right honor the crab get your beef steak into it it's the best dessert in the world um an apartment party or something casa independent we're not sure is it up there or is it here it looks really cool in here i think there's a bar or something it's cute little homes yeah like it's really creepy oh what is this oh wow this is so cool oh my gosh oh that's where the people [Music] let's check out the venue so cool the vibes here like i just can't believe we found this place there's like all these little like areas that you can sit here [Music] [Applause] [Music] good morning welcome welcome to day three we have awakened and it is 12 p.m again um what's a vacation if you don't sleep in right we had another little kind of late night yesterday oh my gosh i am such a grandma and honestly these late nights are making me so tired in the morning but it was fun went to this place casa independent very hipster venue you saw the footage yeah it was crazy hipster the most hipster thing i've ever done in my life i wouldn't call ourselves hipsters we're like definitely not not very alternative people um but it was like such a cool place we met some amazing people swedish people who recently moved to lisbon and they were saying that it's such an like different world here being expats one thing i wanted to mention this morning is how many people actually speak english here it's so easy to get around um so if you're thinking of coming here and you're worried about language barriers whether you're moving here people speak very good english okay we have arrived at our next hashtag [Music] sorry again butchering all of the words [Music] [Music] i think it's here we have our pastels we got a little i don't remember what these are called and then we have a donut with cream inside yes so let's try this okay that's definitely thicker um it's less crispy it's actually not warm at all right now the inside is really good it's not too sweet i think i would give it [Music] three and a half i still like yesterday's what a day it looks so different from yesterday or the last two days because it's been really cloudy but today we have a sunny day 16 degrees it's 16 degrees no jacket i'm so happy and wow just look at this oh my gosh jesse we've arrived at the bellum tower it's so beautiful today look at this view [Music] um [Music] [Music] [Music] we've arrived at our next hashtag location this is apparently the original um it's very close to that monastery that we were at just now so i'm gonna try it inside it definitely doesn't look as beautiful as the other ones we've been to kind of looks like a painting tower okay we got another pasta sonata this is from the og apparently um shall we try it it looks very beautiful it's definitely still warm i'm going to give this a 4.5 out of 5. i agree with my favorite because most country is still warm it's definitely not
