We Start Work on the 4x4 Off-Road Hellcat

fine it's supposed to do that bam do i look good hey guys if you remember last time we bought a dodge hellcat to do something really crazy with but today we got to figure out exactly what's wrong with our hellcat because uh it's only got one gear and it's only got one speed and it's not very good at anything else i figured out how to snap it listen to this so it's not really two step but it's launch control we're gonna watch control this on the trailer activate launch mode quant press clutch in and apply throttle quickly listen to this sounds like you have your mexican food this egos this thing is made for fat guys how close your door is to the fender nipple here to spare there is not much room see the secret is to take your skid loader and accidentally hit your fender and knock it down about an inch that way your hellcat accidentally of course accidentally so you look it's starting to rub you better not dry that anymore i got srt button in here look it tells me 700 plus horsepower what else can we do stop beeping at me the key is right here my friend i forgot the boards underneath there yeah we brought them with us all the way you cannot buy ramps at home depot and then leave them at home depot this is professional ramp supplies some people have them foam ramps that you get online for like 400 bucks no we've got two by sixes we're winning winning look at the professional ramp action we got here we've got a bunch of two by sixes underneath the 2x12 if it can hold a westin it can hold a hellcat with a west and then for three seconds in the wise words of old shop he's got our door has been running too and they stole his welder and knocked out his window but we found his shop be golly this right here is the maximum get away from the law key see this you can see me real well but as you know many hellcat owners choose to sell things on the street most likely cotton candy and this one here has that cotton candy selling package watch this you know the thing about it though is not very many hellcats come in the six-speed manual they most of them come with eight speed and very very few only come with one speed this is just it's a carbon fiber look at this this is the carbon fiber package for broken gears first gear we don't need it second gear doesn't have third gear overrated fourth gear it works reverse why would you want to go backwards everyone wants to go forwards it is ultra rare this is like van wycking stradman they got their high spec supercars it's the same thing it's like one of one like there's one in the world right now it's got only one gear i got some in my eye might have been gotta act surprised but it's really a v6 look raise the hood you guys just go wow that's what you got to do all right [Music] he is up and my goddamn we must be spinning tire though nope that's our aroma of clutch we're not spinning it everybody looks when they hear it anyway so it's cool i mean it's cool regardless we should how much of the horsepower should we show them all of them or just a little bit oh a smart kid what do you think does that sound good yeah does it yeah or you got to sound like you're fast even if you're not fast see like the smoke saying sounds slow blood is fast this sounds fast but it's slow all right can we get this thing on the lift or what do i need to get the you started it you're a better thief than he is how'd you get it started screwdrivers no no no key key [Applause] [Music] and then you know how this thing got broken they want to go over to sixth gear but instead of that they went to reverse and my bro wow no yeah that's well yeah they'll follow in the livestream this here's a it's gotta have a cougar it's all the way up here hot as hell under here it's got training lines and it's a manual it has a cooler yeah well they want these hellcats to give it hell all the way and look at this erg oh yeah i told you that's what they hit something hard with this one that looks pretty good it's leaking right here there's something leaking a little lakey it's not the rear seal what is that the thing about it is it could have thrown a gear out the side of the case or something yep or something happened because here's the drain it's tight yeah that's why is it leaking it's a rear seal where's it coming from up along this side right here that plug oh look at that fellas that is exactly what happened that plug came loose and all the fluid came out of it that's what ruined it 80 000 car and a loose plug see this is the fill plug yeah that'd be a fill plug it was loose i bet it blew all the foot out of it and then once there's no foot in a manual trans you could see they don't like it right there next thing we gotta do is we'll wait for all this to cool down because it's gonna be hot as hell drop the exhaust and then we can drop the crossmember pull the rear one and pull the trains out so much easier to buy a hellcat with a good trainer you know the thing about is they want a lot of money for hellcats with good trainees this one here was an exceptionally good deal oh my god no the car is coming down on top of me garrett just stepped on the engine is that not just the most sexiest car you've ever seen in your life a gt 500 12 out cummins edition [Music] this is considered a success the transmission's out and we didn't even drop it more than once okay we did drop it once but we got a good jack now so we won't drop it again but now the transmission's out we can kind of see exactly what's wrong with it because for right now it's in okay for right now it's in hold on that'd be third gear so since it's in third gear nope that'd be fourth gear nevermind hold on that's hardcore and since it's in third gear nothing if this spins the tail shaft should spin too but you hear that that secures ground off the input shaft right here this is the throttle bearing she's partying okay there's not much left of that it's got that nice good burnt crunch aroma you see that right there that there is the look of a clutch that has been used abused and uh weston might have blown up but also the clutch was on its way out i just finished it off on the way in does that make sense so yeah we need a new clutch we need a new transmission and uh this car will be back up and running that's all it needs we have one big problem the parts inside this transmission are on a four month back order and the input shaft is too so it's gonna be kind of touch and go on how fast we're gonna get this thing fixed or not but we're gonna tear it apart and try our best and try to get all the parts that we need oh another question i see that's really popular is can we make the full wheel drive swap and everything work with the hellcat engine of course we can we've done more with less or we've done less with more no we've done more with less yeah that's how that goes all right guys there's one more thing we need to talk about before we end this deal real quick as you guys might have known our shop got broken into and some spineless cowardly thief decided to take off with our welder our plasma cutter and a lot of our tools here but guys so much has evolved in this situation thanks to you guys because as soon as i made posts about who it was and what we was doing on it on instagram i had multiple leads within the first 30 minutes and honestly i can't thank you guys enough for the way this is all taken down now obviously we're working closely with law enforcement to make sure these guys are caught and prosecuted go over to follow me on instagram and i will
