We Spent 100 Days In Minecraft Building A Kingdom In A World Of Dragons

hey what's going on everybody jordan here and in this video my brother nick and i have 100 days to create a thriving nation in minecraft only we're not alone peril can befall us every step of the way whether it's sickness sweeping through the colony or a band of pirates attacking us as night falls this is going to be a challenge oh also there are dragons and other mythical beasts in this world and they're closer to our nation than we even know so without further ado let's get started whoever gets the horseshoe crab first wins wait you just boosted me i thought i would push you out of the way i got here first jordan so i won and it is a beautiful first day here jordan in this i was gonna say nordic wonderland because i was wanting you know to create a massive nordic civilization but it's kind of kind of a little too warm here it feels like you know hey am i allowed to keep the bread that i got by the way at the start only if you give me half deal now we're ready to begin our tropical nordic adventure i may be the first person to utter those words in that order didn't you read that we were supposed to like sleep really fast that our villagers were safe we don't have villagers yet what we don't have a village yet then it's time to build one we trek through the world seeking a perfect spot to settle whoa this is a nice town uh i'm not saying we integrate it into our town but it'll be nice to have this uh near it it probably means that we can form an alliance with this village i'm going to take their lamp or that are you vandalizing this town yes oh there's a way stone right here we're totally going to take this as well that's so cool as every minecraft adventure seems to begin we start slapping some trees oh and we should take their beds i'm disappointed but also i like the way you think i think this is here where we're going to start our nation okay i'm kind of high okay kind of really hype so we're gonna need to make a supply ship you make it with five boats we need to make a build tool really badly and for that we need two sticks and one cobblestone boom i've got it i've got the supply ship now okay do you know how how cool this is i think i need to right click with the supply shift there we go okay there we go and then i can move it i can turn it i can flip it bop it and boom there's our supply ship jordan i forgot to make it nordic i forgot to make a nordic that was one of my most important things hey this is nordic jordan okay we're just some interesting nordic you know what we're gonna make another one we're going to make another supply ship you've already placed a supply ship or camp in this world we can't do more than one what well you know we got this at least also tools charcoal food for days it's not nordic but this boat sets us up for success with loot and a town hall to start up our colony how could this boat not be nordic if we're nordic that's a good point jordan what did vikings do anyway huh yeah they took over boats probably that's a good point jordan before we can build town hall we have to clear the area we diligently chop trees eat onions and level the land to prep for our town this is time consuming but we'll end up using these resources to create buildings in our town so none of this time is completely wasted okay we'll clear out the area and the dawn of day two we will begin hello there bear you see this is a nordic bear so we're good friends right yeah yep that's the town's bear that is barry the bear nick give him a distinguished name come on i just ate three raw onions jordan uh i think you've cemented your place as king of this particular village oh that's sick yo eat them flowers like i thought you told me that i didn't have to mine this much wood this this time i did not say anything about that it's a shiny bee it's got nice eyes like mine we are brothers this is my true brother he kind of looks too much like me i'm not going to lie okay i'm going to see if i can place the town here jordan okay i mean dude if you're ready go for it oh oh okay we'll have settlers soon what we need to do now is sleep though because our villagers are going to begin arriving and we do not want they don't have work yet oh she has six strength that's kind of crazy jordan wait real quick how much stronger is she than bo five strong bo is the weakest any human can be i'm sorry bo i think he's an old man dude yeah and nick crafts a builder's hut so we can put our citizens to work boom here it is funny enough during even though bo's the weakest he's the best builder because of adaptability the traits highlighted in green shows which stats affect performance on this task i figured out how to hire him you go into build options and then you click him so he knows to build and then i'm going to say build building now we need a lot of items though okay while we compile the items necessary to build this hut bo starts clearing the plot so he needs three dirt he needs a huge amount of spruce stuff jordan this is a list of all the resources bone needs to finish the build hey how much leather do you need i just got three from a goat i think it's exactly three two racks how do you make racks get all over here and go to those are rats right there i can just take them from the supply ship that is so nice the next morning we finish giving beau everything and he takes care of the work our goal here is to have a thriving self-sufficient city and bo is helping us get there he's supplied with everything he needs do you want a mine or do you want to start a wheat farm can i be a barista at the tavern okay go mining i create ye old mine well nick clears out space for various useful builds we want to make a farm a mine a forestry station everything we need to grow our nation man it's so great to have someone else working with me someone else who's competent bo yes it was yes i guess you're here too oh hey man sorry that's disgusting that's what i was waiting for why would you make it multiple blocks long i'm going to have to fix so much stuff that you do also does our guy go to sleep at night i think they should oh yeah they go to the town hall at night until they have homes we will want to build them home until we can provide shelter nick at least make sure our citizens are well fed he's starting to place blocks wait yes he's starting to build jordan this is beautiful oh that's so beautiful ouch ouch ouch oh wow this is really cool looking wow there's a lot of things that could kill me here though nick's right the mine is rather unsettling and honestly even more dangerous than we yet know why is this so fun to just watch jordan it's so fun dude i love it wait what is he doing right oh he's placing the knot what was he gonna do next whoa wait jordan i look away for one moment and then look at this bo is fully supplied and 38 done meanwhile nick searches for livestock like cows and i find an intriguing rainbow ore oh hey i can probably hover over to see what it is it's a randomite classic whoa the builder's hut's almost finished wow i leave for just a little bit jordan and it's almost done i'm gonna go with green for the flag i think jordan oh this is good why can bo build better than me his intelligence is at two yours must be at one which is the absolute minimum nick wants me to clear trees so the boat can begin construction on a tavern when the boater's hut is complete but first i go back to the mine to secure the randomized ore oh hey dude i got a diamond from the randomizer so it gives you a random ore bow you're a genius with your intelligence of well two he finished the builder's height let's see how it feels [Music] with the builder's heart complete we should turn our attention to resource production perhaps you should get a forster miner oh so we will do all of those nick sets the taverns build location so we start clearing the land and giving bo more building materials once complete the tavern will attract new citizens to our town look jordan it's barry barry's living at the tavern already the building resources are more difficult to acquire than the previous set but we can come up with clever ways to quickly secure the loot jordan the sail is made out of wool dude we're geniuses that's what i'm talking about oh i missed it he climbed up the tree jordan dude this guy eats this guy really eats i'll go see if they have any cow eggs at the uh other town cat cow eggs yeah oh yeah i need some specifically oak stairs needing specific types of wood will become a theme with building our town so i head out in search of new trees but first i find a friend oh i have a puppy hey congrats jordan in a moment nick makes a new friend too ah jolly fish poisoned me i read that last line wrong i meant to say enemy nick makes an enemy i don't know what i'm supposed to do jordan he looks so cool he's adorable he's great he needs more food wow he's a hungry man i cannot understate how much food beau is consuming he's a hard-working man you have my can of beans ah squid i don't have any sort of good weapons so i'm sorry i have to hit you with an act oh they actually like fly away from you jordan like really fast and shooting except this one went to the shore because it's not that smart i don't think poor guy and there's an ink sack and raw calamari yum yum is the entire world giant spruce no i'm having trouble finding non-spruce trees despite trekking far away but nick succeeds in his aquatic battles for ink sacks dude i'm over a thousand blocks of winnick and i'm still in taiga t sapling tamarac river log palm tree still no oak do i need to find an oak tree before you find an oak tree i found another spruce tree whoa i found like a tent jordan oh this is some weird village i'm gonna hit the the way stone here and now we can teleport to the town this is actually really nice what is it oh wait this is a pillager thing i'm just going to leave we're going to have to go to war with them eventually though oh this is so nice i can teleport back and forth now across the ocean how about fur nick a furlog how do you feel about cherry blossom logs also jordan people are very happy with all of our stuff the only thing you're not happy with is the social factor based on sickness unemployment homelessness or starvation which they are unemployed and homeless well but otherwise they're really happy okay i'm gonna teleport over to the pilger camp and i'm going to find it i found oak trees but now we have everything we need to finish the tavern hopefully we'll gain some skilled citizens to help our nation progress fast oh tree well during it's too late i've already got all that i needed really hey dude i'm not gonna mess with it dude i found a nice dragon though mark coordinates made a lot more shovels because i know bo is going to run out because he's got to line up this entire area you know what we should help him jordan you know would be awkward is if he doesn't have to mine all this and i'm just ruining it for him well it's time for bed dude but check this out oh nordic that looks so good though the next morning we assist bow by further clearing the area and then prepping our next priority builds starting with a forester set and a mine so i've got those two things now i don't know where to put the miners thing maybe closer to the ocean on the right so we can pollute as man next up we're ready to start a farm so nick gets the building itself and a field for crops crafted then he gives me a task of digging up a lot of dirt i'm gonna walk far away dude to knock this out dude but check out my tool on time and shovel knight yeah it looks like bo is doing a great job wow dude look at the tavern roof wait is it going crazy oh it's still going up okay jordan what's really neat about this guy here is you look at the scarecrow and you right click them and you show how big the field is up to five in each direction then you just put the seed you want them to use in there and now this is going to be a wheat farm that a farmer will take care of for us oh wait jordan i think the tavern's done with the tavern complete we can finally give our citizens proper shelter on top of that potential new citizens can now appear we need to go to sleep but i also want to double check this real quick wait who's elsa courtney show citizen stats oh these are very good stats during these are oh wow recruit oh so she she dude she visited the tavern oh we got someone else now i if by my life or my death i will protect you or fail she's gonna strengthen the wine no that's crazy wait who's megan ah wait save megan save me again okay we're good we need to torch up ah there's more until we have effective guards patrolling the area this place is dangerous we don't want to lose citizens so to alleviate that danger we put torches all around to light up the area and scare off mobs does she have good stats her stats are pretty good i want someone with insane adaptability because they're good at building annabelle wait annabelle really wants to live in a house i think most people do having a job would be great too uh well your stats are awful i'm sorry does no one have good adaptability i might just have to have both start building stuff again it's time for bow to go nick hires bow to build the farm so we begin to compile the resources he needs oh i thought the thief's hood masked the name it doesn't so uh no this is awkward we need hay bales to build the farm unfortunately that's what we want to farm to give us so nick starts farming so we don't have to farm once we have a farm wow that's confusing dude barry's wandering through our town now yeah barry is a citizen jordan he's co-owner of the town you're just an officer who built a sand castle what disgusting nick gives below the loot and tools he came while i mined some sandstone off the coast of town nick then expands our mini farm it feels wasteful to get wheat like this but we need hay bales before we can automate our crops i'm almost out of food so yeah we need this farm badly i'll give what i have i need one more though i'm at 24. there's sandstone right here i'll just grab it just give them that for now okay teamwork helps us finish the farm you've got an arrow in your chest it is what it is i got bananas the bananas i acquired aren't that useful but they're fun and that makes me happy what's happening i'm i'm slipping on bananas excuse me i have agility nickels from eating the bananas i can climb walls like monkeys what what is going on nicholas i ate bananas and got monkey powers imagine if vikings had access to bananas besides the banana shenanigans today is spent foraging for resources we still need to get a lot of loot to enable our best builder bow boom there's a banana slip on it it's fun whoa and then nicholas take that eat it if you're hungry oh hey nick check this out first off i itada banana and then i climb a anything that's amazing that's that's such a good item okay i eat i eat the banana boy dude hey wait a minute nick it only lasts for like 10 times oh our builder's building pretty quickly by the way look at bella she's actually going to the ship she's in the ship jordan wait what what della get out of my ship jordan she doesn't have a home let her be oh oh that's fine okay with your beautiful shovel journey get the dirt level down here while bob puts the finishing touches on the farm nick can i clear out the plots of land for our forestry place and mine i like how days one to 30 are going to be the bow show titan g culkins dude his name is titan what we got to get this guy right he's a great builder adaptability 12 that's pretty good we have to give him nether courts it's he's not that expensive we just have to go to the nether yeah okay so so so nick tasks me with building another portal since he is critical to our town's construction the only problem is that we don't have a diamond pickaxe and i've never made another portal using the lava bucket trick but i'm a grown man so i could probably figure it out this thing looks sick does he not have enough ground to move wait he's starting to place him just now is bo it's our boy love him or hate him sometimes we want to hate him a lot okay all land within one chunks of farmer have been claimed that's a lot there's also sharks around our farm so hopefully our guy doesn't die so managed workers so it's based off stamina someone had insane stamina della really wants a home and she's got okay stamina i'm going to hire della she's got farming stuff on good stuff della and boom i signed della so she can't complain anymore okay i'm finally going to be building the town hall jordan i think i i can't believe i didn't do that quicker nick makes extra items to the farm and cleans up lots of lamb i struggle to make another portal oh lots of work building a nation you know whoa i got it wait i made it one too small oh no what bio no you messed it up again a little bit nicki mo get a lot of work done well i use every single cell in my brain to make another portal i'll go get the portal activated here in a second is titan still around even uh yeah he is okay jordan so where is it because i will go to the nether with you with no armor and get some nether cords that sounds super fun and safe before i activate i just kind of want you to see the nonsense of how hard it worked to make this work but does it look gorgeous oh my goodness what i tried my best this isn't even correct oh wait it is yes yeah no no i had it wrong the first lot of it just oh it's kind of disgusting jordan you know i yeah this is a nice little place that we're in here we find another quartz fast it's not too rare once you make it through the portal another wolf another wolf ah careful it bit me i'm on fire i'm okay but like i thought it was going to be friendly man man that was sad be careful the magma cube voter and it's jumping at you i kid you not no i told you to be careful and you decided to not be careful hippogriff hippogriff wire is that's not nearly as good as i remember your colony does not have enough space i forgot well it's upgrading right now five percent it's possible it's winnable it's possible well hopefully our town upgrades fast enough to let us recruit titan either way that trip wasn't wasted and we'll probably want more loot from the nether as the days progress wakey wakey now get back to work while we wait we can keep setting up our nation for success i cut down more trees while nick provides della with all the farming supplies she needs to grow our town's food beau built right up upon her he didn't care who's kaylee this is a new person she needs six enchanted books but she would be the best builder we've had this is becoming a running theme with visitors to our nation they have great stats but come with a steep cost on top of that we have severely limited shelter oh since we started getting new people is titan gone then yep we missed our window to recruit titan why is kaylee just out there in the ocean her dress must be buoyant while nick manages in town projects i mine so we can make armor and other miscellaneous loot 68 done boy he builds slowly nevaeh d rhino that's a name i don't think we use her she's got some pretty good stats but she also wants seven diamonds come on son hey wait nick look down i think you're right above me hey buddy hello there i mean this is an insane cave by the way nick wait they're frozen um zombies and i wonder if we're near a uh frozen dragon or something we're in a tundra that makes more sense i don't know where the ogre went i'm gonna be honest it's one of the more unsettling things that i've had to say i keep finding perilous danger but nick notices that the sugarcane seems to never stop growing so we're having pretty similar gaming experiences he's done let's look at this beauty of a town hall number of citizens has not gone up um i don't know what this did yeah i official name and town hall in place we decide on our next move ooh there's we might want a guard tower because everyone wants it but there's also a fisher's height and the fisher's hut sounds fun and i want the fishers height well actually before we start doing that let's start building the other places out but fisher's hut nick yeah i know wouldn't it be nice if della would actually give us food stella we really need some hump food it's the entire reason for your employment existence nick went even harsher than i do even though we still haven't figured out how to get food from della we move on to our next task building a forest replay so we can hire a lumberjack to get all the wood we need also there's a hippogriff on our town hall late nation is great they're not exactly friendly but i don't think they're that dangerous they're pretty friendly i'm jumping on the roof with them yeah it's a hippogrip he hit me off the roof he didn't like me being on the roof with him that's reasonable get stronger than him yeah i wonder what his adaptability is now i think it was at six last i saw it if it's at like eight or nine then that would be amazing adaptability is at nine wow he only has seven more torches left to place that's a one day build tomorrow morning we'll hire a lumberjack before bed we armor up it's about time my mining led to more than building resources the hippogrip is have the resources he requires we inexplicably have various blocks of valuable oars below our boat four blocks of gold down here okay so i go to mine them oh wait we don't even have room to hire anyone fortunately we can solve this problem you got to build a house before we get to the home construction we run into a minor problem uh where do i put the ah it's going to kill beau uh we gotta take it down then be careful it might be able to one-shot us right now we need to make some shields all right let's get to fighting i got a diamond shovel what all right all right all right buddy whoa until nightfall fully supplied bo is ready to construct a home once it's built we should be able to recruit new citizens best suited for the various jobs around town but first there's a more pressing matter to attend to anabella is starving to death mark is almost dead too i'm gonna give everyone a place in the tavern and i'm giving them food he's just eating it all in front of me right now we're poor town dude they all have homes now and they'll all get jobs they'll all get good well these are the people we started down with they came here jordan we're gonna give them jobs you know we're gonna we're gonna make it work okay that's what i've decided annabella is going to be the absolute worst woodworker ever but she's been hired she's been hired jordan and wow she changed immediately there we lost sight of what mattered we sought to recruit new citizens and in the process ignored the vague acquaintances closest to us but no more our town shall be well cared for let's get that stats are so bad okay i'm going to go check on della she needs more axes i'm going to go get more cobblestone we need the miner jordans so badly so that everyone can give each other stuff that they need yeah exactly i'm a delivery boy jordan i'm supposed to own this nation i'm a delivery boy happiness people are okay because no one's been injured recently people are very well fed okay that's good plus our only unemployed citizen is mark and we'll hire him as a minor as soon as bo finishes building it and also building everything else bo is critical to every single plan we have right now decoration jordan you know uh i can't knock it she got the tree she got the tree she's hitting another tree right now and she's almost done it's truly rewarding to see our workers improve at their get him beau has 45 of stuff already supplied he just happened to have it because we've apparently given him 500 dirt it's a rough time since animal died but beau works through the pain nick continues to pile resources while i run off in search of sunflowers people are very unhappy but they're very well fed there's apollo battersby he wants sunflowers as well jordan i find sunflowers as the sun rises i've got 38 sunflowers nick that's more than enough wait why is she not working oh she can't work today because she's still processing what's her name's dad what's her name that's so rude we are getting our first new villager except the one that replaced the one that died but that doesn't really first do villager on day 30 nicholas tripp my man trippy root okay why did i feel like his stats were a million times better now that i'm looking at now these are pretty bad well welcome to town you fit right in nick sets up a guard tower adding to the list of structures bo must build we've got so many things left to build you know after what feels like forever mining we almost have enough materials to make a mine which makes sense i guess got a mine to mine i haven't even been down here during our boat oh yeah and any of the things that were messed up there weren't me wait how do you get out did you do this what are you talking about all right i got enough to go uh get this build fully funded nick that's good right in time for him to stop working yeah okay let's see how happy people are have people forgotten they're they're pretty happy with everything it's just mark unhappy still they're not happy with their housing are you kidding me you're looking at everything we don't have industries going yet everyone has a place to sleep okay yeah what nick said well beau completes the mind nick decides our next upgrade ought to be a better home that way a town couple could have kids which might lead to better workers when they grow up wait but then we'd have to make a school and we don't want to do that too quickly we have to make a school yeah and then university and then mage tower and then gladiator arena oh now you're talking i want to use this voiceover not to apologize for it but to say how sick our ideas are we drop pillagers in and we drop in all the guards oh we hired some mercenaries to add some flavor oh question what is boat how is he's gonna put ladders here right like right here do i need to place the ladders for him here oh i fell wait where did bo go nick no i'm stuck in the hole stay there cause i'll make the ladder for you to get out how see what you mean oh that's such a nice roof i mean that's just some nice mine now that the mine is complete nick gets bow to start on the guard tower then while beau builds we can assign a citizen to the mine mark has one strength and he uses a lot of it jordan they're both so bad at this i think it's trip though like actually mark does not get his job oh tripp looks sick what what is that yeah he's he's a minor he's got a cool mask and everything oh nice you've already got 47 of his stuff supplied it's just the oak ladders now that you've got to do i can make those you're smurfing tripp lives right next to the mine i need 32 cobblestone to continue working excuse me but why would he need that to mine yeah he doesn't need a pickaxe he needs 32 cobblestone there you go bud he needs 10 acquisition is a bit shoddy so far but it's still an exciting start to autonomy for our nation nick he's going down yep he's doing one layer at a time just like that he's not doing too bad this is
