visiting 100 countries but 2020 brought us back to the u.s where we bought our first home a converted sprinter van after spending the last five months driving our new home all around the u.s we returned back to our hometown of nashville tennessee to spend time with our family for thanksgiving sorry today we are back in the van driving four hours east to gatlinburg tennessee on a quest to become our niece's favorite aunt and uncle we figure since we're not here most of the time and we're usually out traveling we try to make this time at home as special as possible if you've been following our channel for the last few years you may remember my sister kayla and her husband barrett who we traveled to portugal iceland and italy with oh it happened again i'm sorry everything's fine and this is their oldest daughter galilee you know the the one that we're trying to impress [Music] what i'm so excited i'm so excited we're all very excited right now all right we're moving in this feels so weird walking into an aquarium with my queen-sized pillows right now her favorite show is bubble guppy so she's in love with all of the underwater creatures and ripley's aquarium was nice enough to work it out with us tonight so that we could sleep in the tunnel underneath the shark tank as an early christmas present we're starting with a tour of the inner workings of the aquarium pretty sure galley just wants to see the fish so they're actually going to be vegetarian we've been here for five minutes and i'm pretty sure we've already quenched the favorite aunt knuckle title this wasn't supposed to be a video completely dedicated to our niece but come on she's way cuter than all of us and i just think it's so much more fun to experience an aquarium through the eyes of a kid where everything is just new and exciting and this is one of my favorite videos we've filmed in a long time we're waiting for a snack are you waiting patiently thank you i need some water too [Music] let's go go come on [Music] we just had our snack and now the stingrays are getting theirs can you touch it you can do it yeah daddy come on mr stingray we got some fish head i don't think he's hungry oh he's coming back oh my god how long his tail is that was awesome what is that she is so darn cute i know i'm biased but so nate and i went to college about an hour away from gatlinburg and one of our dates like 10 years ago was to this aquarium so to be here tonight after hours when no one else is here having our own private tour and getting to bring our niece with us is so special galilee's probably way too young to remember any of this but at least we have this video as proof that we're the cool animal and we'll never forget right behind us i'm okay i'm okay okay that's mesmerizing not really it looks like it's swimming down but somehow it's going up what is it these are moon jellies they're actually one of the most common and they are the least venomous of our skin so we're nice and safe with those do you want to touch one they feel a little bit like wet gummy bears all right the tour is over and now we have free reign of the entire aquarium for an hour [Applause] [Music] we could probably play longer but it's getting close to our bedtime and i cannot wait to see where we're sleeping tonight hey what is that it's a frog fish without a doubt the best part about this whole experience has been seeing galley's reaction to everything but getting an entire aquarium to yourself just to go around and see everything without having to worry about anybody else that's pretty cool what do you think kayla this is amazing that's crazy it's a giant shark and that's where we're sleeping can you help me push the button all right time to put our pjs on how believe us but we did i exceed the weight limit but this thing's going to hold them up great it's a how good is this though i don't think there could be a more peaceful place to sleep much more relaxing than the haunted cave that we stayed in a couple weeks ago i think you're gonna sleep a lot more much much better they haven't told us about any ghosts that haunt the aquarium just uh shark infested waters wow this is pretty incredible do you think they're gonna bring us all right do you think you have enough energy to read or you just want to go to sleep i'll read you one story do you want to see the pictures well that started just stuck his nose [Music] how good is this guy this is awesome good night in the morning now you're are you we're still awake of course i thought you were going to sleep yeah night galley i'm so excited i already can't wait to open my eyes and see there are so many sharks in here that there's one swimming over your head every 30 seconds so crazy i hope go i'm pretty sure this is the most comfortable air mattress i've ever slept on which makes me feel a little guilty also it's 1am but i'm trying to hold my eyes open as long as i can because you don't get to do this every night of course i'm the only one who couldn't fall asleep late night body break let's go see what everybody else is doing [Music] [Music] uh [Music] [Music] this looks so good oh i think maybe i woke up twice and both times i did there was a shark swimming over my head how'd you sleep sleep who slept cali looks like she's sleeping good morning we have to walk and get coffee this morning thank you pretty good the animals are very active this morning see me sorry i wasn't in bed i did not think we were getting coffee in the aquarium coffee with a view and a diver this is scuba diver cali what are we going to see it's stinky in here all right i think we about to say the best for last [Music] do you see any penguins [Music] [Music] she's probably gonna look at you like she's like you're touching me i touch you that's fair i love her yeah they have an oil that they put on the outside feathers keep them waterproof [Music] [Music] you tell them thank you hey gally black jeans and he said no but look at this they wear their black shirts and it's lunch time okay what's for lunch she nails that last note every time we're gonna be the uncle in like 30 years like do you remember when we brought you to them well i ain't waiting to do this cool stuff but i could remember it you're going there come here i don't think i can vent i want to see your daddy get in here wow are we underwater we are we are me space aliens what do you see [Music] where is it it's over here are you okay yeah i'm okay are you gonna sleep in my bed right now do you know what time it is I like Kara and Nate and their videos and I really enjoy watching them. But this one made me shake my head. I know they want to do “cool” things while they’re home in Tenn, but sleeping on the floor of an aquarium during the middle of a pandemic? Just makes me shake my head.
