we got the cloud couch!!! delivery and setting it up!

been saying it all morning huh I feel like today she's like officially saying it she said it a little bit on other days but she's been sitting down out all morning huh today is gonna be an exciting day we're actually getting a new couch I told you guys we ordered something new what for the house and I asked you guys to guess what it was and for some reason all of you guys guessed it was a hot tub it is not a hot tub Parker wishes it was a hot tub he's wanted a hot tub for like years I think that should be coming next though I don't know but that's not what we ordered but the other day my friend JC was posting about her couch it's the cloud couch and I was like I wish that we had just freakin got that couch when we moved in here we thought about it but we didn't get it and then I was talking to my mom and she was telling me how she wanted a new couch cuz their couch that they had in their living room it's like pretty small I can fit like three people on it and then it's like all the rooms taken up gonna get down and play so I was like oh perfect you're looking for a couch I'm also wanting to get a new couch so you can take mine and we will get anyone so that should be here today in like a couple hours I actually might not be here because I have to go to the bank but Parker is gonna be here for the delivery and I am so excited we've been wanting this couch for years and I finally was like you know what we're just gonna do it we're gonna get it so my mom actually came and picked up the other couch this weekend we brought this one up here I got this one from Urban Outfitters a couple years ago I bought this and we had like nowhere for it when we looked in our old house we actually keep it in our basement I actually really like it where we keep it we have two couches down there so this one's like over by our ping-pong table we sit on this like when people come over and they're playing ping-pong or we have one we've shown you guys down in the basement that's like actually by the TV so we brought this up here for a couple of days do you like it new me NUMA also got a haircut because human looks she had a few tangles in her tail so he decided to shave it she kind of looks like a little mole rat and then they weren't supposed to cut her ears we had to cut them a while ago had a lot of tangles and then they've been growing out and then if I figure I guess forgot to tell them not to cut the ears she's looking a little unique but I think you look pretty Oh anyways is that the line of the rug or is that shadow what the heck that's like really intense color yeah this rug we got like five months ago now and one of the first fire I actually thought it was a little bit too yellow I really like the rug Stiles like whatever it's fine and then it's interesting because when we move the couch like this can see that line right there I don't know how well the camera is gonna pick it up but like it's a lot more white on the part that we actually use which is crazy because you think it'd be the other way around we're like the dirty part that we walk on gets more yellow but this was like under the couch and then you can even see right here like I don't know it's just a lot more white so that was kind of funny anyways the couch is supposed to be kind of a similar size to our last one which the size is perfect I think this one's a little bit bigger hopefully it will be super comfy and great we will see how that goes I hope it doesn't get delivered when I'm gone I'm only gonna be gone for like an hour and it's like a two-hour and it's the delivery guys for our new couch so they're here I'm sorry Aspen Aspen wanted to be here when they delivered it but she's not gonna be here so it's gonna be a surprise for her we'll surprise her with it these guys are gonna bring it in put it right here Maddie just back him the whole rug for us so it looks awesome yeah let's get this new couch [Music] here it's not completely put together I'm surprised I thought that they would but the guy suggested and said that a lot of the people to get these like to wash the covers before they put it on so hopefully Aspen wants to do that I'm gonna call it right now and see if she wants to if not I'll just put the covers on it right now then we can see it completely done all right Aspen's back and she already saw it so this isn't her like first reaction but what do you think so excited yeah you love it no oh yeah I did actually yeah yep so they're air drying but this is it I don't think I filmed it kind of put together exactly how it's gonna be this is it it's even gonna be just the same color you guys won't even really be able to tell on the camera yeah pose for thumb now we're gonna have to be really careful about like wok washing her feet every time she jumps up there now we need to get that couch moved back downstairs and we need to bring this over into place which we'll see how it looks with it [Music] so I came on a little trip to get one of these babies it's one of those wagons that you pull behind your bike I'm gonna go home and there's a couple things I need to attach this was like the one on the floor so they had already kind of built it had another one that was in a box but I would have had to build it I just took this one because it's a lot easier there is a couple things that I need to put together and then I'm gonna hook it on the bike and then I think we're gonna go on a bike ride later I'm super excited okay guys so it's the next day the couch got delivered yesterday but we actually the guys told us so delivery people maybe a park Bernie mentioned this I forgot what we filmed because it was yesterday but the delivery people said that most people wash the cushion covers before they put them on which is funny because in the store they tell you like don't wash them they recommend you get them like dry cleaned I think but two of the people that I texted about the couch that have the couch they told me that they just wash theirs at home and then air dry them so that's what we did so we already showed you guys but obviously this part is like white and our cushions also are white yeah I'll look up the fabric then we got for you guys but it's the same one as our bed so I'll show you guys that to look it's really bright in here looma likes to take her morning nap in here like every morning after Cole goes down for her nap bloom is usually in here but this is the cloud bed we love it it is the best thing ever it's so comfy it comes with these big pillows on it and then I did figure out the name of the fabric I'll look it up in a second but it's kind of like squishy so it's actually nice cuz Cove is like learning now how to climb up the bed and she can actually get off we're trying to teach her how to go backwards usually she goes like face-first down there but since it's so low to the ground and she like puts her hands on here first she kind of can get down almost by herself which is nice but yeah we love the cloud bed now we have the cloud couch and I'm so excited so we're gonna put all the covers on don't know how long that's gonna take us actually need to go and get Cove up from her nap and feed her first oh she would really yeah right right as I'm trying to figure out one we should get her up anyways I'm so excited we're gonna get that cushions on in just a minute and I'm so excited to see it like pull together okay it's a few hours later I don't remember the last time we filmed I'm in a different outfit turning off the stupid TV what is the show called oh my guy it comes on after frame every single day we always friends yeah a lot of you guys actually asked how we watch friends cuz we have on in the background mostly like on Instagram but is it TBS friends is on TBS like which is okay no one 9 at our house but it's all like all day not all day for like a lot of the day and so usually we should talk about going in background and then every day at what time like to do put family I comes on and I just hate it and even if it's on for like two seconds I just can't so yeah we had a little meeting thing we went to earlier yeah we'll talk about that a little bit later maybe even journey one day but it's gonna look up the fabric and stuff for the couch just to give you guys all the info and then we're gonna get all the cushions on it oh the color is literally called white cool that's what I was looking out the covers I don't know if I had a certain name so if you haven't ever heard of the cloud couch it's like comfiest best lounge east couch ever but it's frickin expensive so I've been wanting to get it for years and finally decided to just invest and get it and we are gonna have this for a really long time so yeah we're about to put the cushions on so that's something that I feel like is really awesome is that the slipcovers come off this is also not sponsored in any way I wish it was yeah the slipcovers come off and you totally confused on what I've already talked about in this vlog cuz it's just been a long two days of filming this but you can wash them and I think already said that they don't recommend you do that like in the store if you were like should I wash this like in my washer um they'd be like no no no don't do that but all my friends who have this said they just wash them and that air dry them so if you ever get anything on it then it's not like too hard to get it out or you can just like spot clean it we did decide to go with white because one of the reasons that I wasn't like obsessed with our other couch was because the couch the rug and the coffee table were like all the same color so I really wanted to get white obviously we love white at our house we thought about getting like a cream or something but I feel like if you're gonna like be worried about staining it white and cream are like pretty much the same so if you have a stain on cream you have a stain on why it's like all the same so we didn't get why even though yes we have a baby in a puppy I'm honestly not that worried about the baby at this point because I don't really want her sitting here like eating snacks on the couch like that's not a really good habit to do and for us I'm more worried that we're gonna be the ones to spill or I'm I'm most worried about is the dog and her muddy paws getting all over it the fact that we can watch them I'm honestly like too worried hello puppy she also loves the new couch anyways yeah so you can make your own like configuration if you go on their website or into the store or whatever yeah we decided to get the same shape as our lost couch because we love it and it's the perfect size and it will be nice cuz if we ever move this corner chair or no so this would be the corner chair but it's actually the same as the actual armchair so it's nice but if we ever moves or or if we ever need it to like put this somewhere else we can just like change it and rotate it around where most couches like if it goes one way like has to always go that way if that makes sense this one you can move around a bunch of different ways and it's so comfy we did get the classic depth we tested out the lockstep and it was really nice it's like deeper it was just gonna be like too big for this room and I feel like that'd be better for like a theater couch I thought the classic is really nice I know that Remi has the petite and she said that one is just like too small this is perfect Parker's getting all the covers laid out we're gonna have to like try and mix and match to figure out what exactly goes on what one cuz I think everything's like a slightly different size yeah I'm so excited that we finally have the couch and it looks so cute I'm excited to see it with all the covers on [Music] okay we got all of the covers on you guys that was literally the biggest job I don't know why I thought it was gonna be not that hard but the delivery guys definitely we're trying to convince us to like wash them before so they didn't have to put them on even though either way I would have like wanted to wash them before so it's fine but that was a big task that took a long time but it looks so cute so comfy so comfy I love it also if anyone is wanting this obviously it's like definitely an investment piece but Restoration Hardware and I think it's like a couple
