We Found the Flintstones Town! Inside the Forgotten Bedrock City | Arizona to Nevada

greetings from where are we again right Flagstaff Arizona yesterday we had an amazing day in Sedona and it it took it out of me a little I'm starting off today a little bit tired but we're going to get some coffee we're going to get some fuel in the car and in our system and today we're making our way into Nevada we're going to Vegas but we're going to see some sites along the way have another cool road trip day I can't believe how far into the trip we are but still how much more there is to go also this room has the weirdest shower you see this circle thing very weird see it's like a circle in the room it feels like a cruise shower but has awesome Acoustics all right let's go so let's hop in the car got our stuff all packed and get going snow there's snow on the ground wow there snow right there this like a tiny airport small that's a sign right there here we go Yabba Daba Do welcome bror PK and a p fun okay first stop of the day let's do this park over that by that dinosaur right there so we're going to stop into Bedrock Prehistoric Park raptor r Ranch and check it out we're going to have a yabao time we're going to have a gay old time look at how everything everything so far this is so cute pick up on that black lever oh thank you and that's the next building to the right past the okay thank you all right we're going to bedrock City Arizona this is Flintstone as you can see this interesting Roadside Attraction has been here since the' 7s it's supposed to be an amusement park at some point it was a campground not really sure if it is anymore it was $10 to enter so we're just going to look around this is kind of like just a a relic of a Roadside Attraction and what's interesting is it's a relic in real life and in the fictional world of bedrock I mean it's cool like the bones and the trees it was set to close in 2019 but it has remained open and it has been re-themed as Raptor Ranch I guess we just follow the bones Follow the yellow brick bones Recreation of Fred and Bonnie's house oh yeah we got to go in those yeah see what they're like we'll go in every building I guess okay let's walk through the volcano when it was sold it was nearly going to close forever ah but they kept it I'm glad they did cuz it's yeah oh what's this oh okay definitely be expected yeah huh and there's a shop at the front yeah like a whole little mini grocery store up there there's a few other people in here not a ton just a few yeah it's one family yeah it looks like us and one other family yeah it looks like you can go in the snake's mouth that looks very small and scary in there let's just have a look but I'm not going in Pitch Black yeah it's pitch black and scary and horrifying in there absolutely not no freaking way you go in there you can't you never come out like where do you go oh there's a there's a hole out of his butt or whatever pretty long way yeah it's really long that's the thing if it was a little shorter no problem it's definitely like the paint is all chipped it's worn down but some things look freshly painted we just we got a bit of caveman challenge going on it's I don't know if I trust these things oh God oh God what are you doing over there careful no no no oh okay what's this about looks like maybe we can es let me go inside and warm off yeah bedrocks freezing whose house is this that's Barney's house this is policeman's house I would like to report a crime it's cold Oh weird remind be a Blobby land yeah yeah L I've only seen about Blobby land in your video oh some of the windows are blown out this some of the windows have like a plastic thing over them but some are just blown out okay next houseo Barney's house cool from the town of Bedrock there a pach right out that song is burned into my brain I haven't heard it for years but it burned into my brain all right let's take a look at Barney's house it's a little more decorated than the policeman's house cute so I guess the baby stuff must be bam bams don't worry Sam I'm coming I see you in there oh I'm tired taking a rest taking a rest Bonnie Bonnie came clutch the rubble's home very cool all right now we've got The Flintstones home let's go inside got the wall here let's see what Fred and Wilma's house is like oh looks pretty abandoned I got to say not much not much Furniture in here woo there bowls out there but it definitely looks like an abandoned Bedrock you know yeah things have long moved on yeah this must be for Pebbles it's very interesting like the tattered curtains blowing the wind just give it this Vibe you know is Fred home I don't think so oh I think he's left he must be gone I don't know where he is oh well I'll just hang out okay cool we'll just look around we'll just keep snooping around there's a Bedrock City jail oh go to school let's go to school okay no the school bus courtesy of your two feet they don't they need to have a higher up so you can take your feet off the bottom to do the oh yeah but they stand up don't they and do it yeah that's true so I'm supposed to stand and lift them but I don't think that's I don't think that's happening not here okay I tellu ride teacher I don't know I don't remember if that's a thing the show oh wow that's Betty Betty Rubble that's cool can you like know they're they're taped down wow that's kind of neat so Betty Rubble here is the only actual Flintstones character we've seen so far I'm not sure maybe there's more out there but br's Betty I was always obsessed with like her necklace and the way it held her dress up and her hair and just fasinating okay pull-ups all right whose house is next there's no name this ISS like the dentist office oh are you ready oh my gosh this is I'm not sure about this but this is this this is a scary drill this is a scary dentist office what does this say common effect of a sh Cur Hunter effects of the common cold common effect of a rock quarry ticker oh there's a dinosaur running the drill Dino drill that's funny that is disturbing what's the other room the waiting room yeah waiting oh yeah crutches certificate of physical and mental Rehabilitation presented to Dr slim bone got next here seesaw okay what I been on the Seesaw for a long time yeah this is not what I thought be doing today no this is not the way we pictured this day but there's like a geodisc dome out there weirdly anything Wai for S to come ba me out what are the laws in Bedrock let's see let's see the most wanted that should give us a clue bank robbery burglary assault and battery aggravated assault on police officer car theft robbery mobster and counterfeiting well there's the crimes to bedrock there you go I'm waiting for him to get in here straight to jail oh no get in there I'm drawing up your that joke Str jail on looks like horn handle yeah you're missing a horn handle but you know what yeah it's you make it work right there is a helicopter right over there Landing there a lot of helicopter tours around here next oh we have a twostory one photo off there yeah this one looks quite impressive the post office this is this is cool one we away yeah I wonder how much mail ooh this have yeah oh wow this one's got a lot of stuff in it cool Bandy gravel clip olist prop yeah there's B bam oh god oh oh that's scary this weirdly reminds me of a Barbie playet there were these Barbie playsets and they had these like glass cases and like stuff in them obviously this is a terrifying version of that but it just gives me that Vibe but it also gives me very scary Vibe very very scary this one they just didn't even look at this Pearl and Ruby this is like a hat Salon yeah it's barber shop in the salon the grocery store broken pineapple oh that's cute oh L of meats those look cool some of this looks fresh you know some of it looks old and deteriorated and some of it looks freshly repainted all right so yeah I'll have a pound of rhinoceros ribs a Hornos surus ham I'll have some everything's just asaurus I'll have some Mammoth milk some cactus juice all right how how many clams is that 248 clams W groceries are expensive nowadays pay up back to jail no who can even afford fresh Dino eggs anymore am I right I guess he was right that's why I run it up on yeah very accurate all right cool good oh first in the pterodactyl that sound is horrible look at this so there are seats out here and they look like new seats but the building is like totally overgrown with like dried up Vines maybe that's on purpose Maybe that's the look they're going for but look the stage is completely overgrown here we go we got the auto station Flats fixed just Bam Bam and Pebbles they look real weird Pebbles and Bam Bam are fragile do not climb on them thanks [Applause] it's so quiet here it's like there was another family here but now there's just a person look at the gsaurus is hi babies they do have an air yet it's just they know if they stick their heads in there a that you can feed [Music] them oh oh my gosh that's a noise hi baby this reminds me of that seen a Napoleon Dynamite Tina eat the food did you that's not the noise I pictured them yeah but they're going and then over here is section about birds and some dinosaurs and Stu stuff this is a this is this is interesting I wonder how many people visit this it looks like it's going to jump out all right oh my gosh all right we went back and got some food going to feed him I think you just see I do that oh there you go little buddy all right all right joh it's coming you go there you go little budy tast good yeah they are ready and they are willing okay he spit yum be good there you go good good good good good good hold on wait there you go good baby good baby okay now this one they look like Muppets don't they good baby take it very nice nice well okay Co that was interesting what an interesting place yeah like definitely has not stood the test of time well yeah a lot of people grew up with The Flintstones and the reruns aired for years and years and years after the show was off like the not running anymore but how many people now I don't know do they still run my shows I don't know we don't really watch TV like the actual Bedrock set stuff is cool looking even though it's kind of like corroded by time that kind of makes it look cooler like an abandoned it felt like we were somewhere abandoned when the new owners I read bought this place and turned it into a new attraction brought to Ranch originally they were going to get rid of the Bedrock thing but I think people wanted it to stay so they kept it and now they say it stay in but it's weird because part of me is like just do that and then part of me is like I get I get removing it but also like a roadside like petting zoo thing those are our dime of dozen what makes this different special is the Bedrock stuff maybe they don't have like the license anymore it does say they officially licensed it back then but there's no like merchandise merchandise yeah so I don't know it was definitely an interesting stop yeah very interesting you know Roadside America what is lingering on what is like decaying and sitting and so many of those kind of attractions have just gone and left there R in so at least you can still see this we can get a glimpse back in time literally to bedrock and to uh a different time of Americana roadside things like this anyway let's keep going guess that's the camp run over there weird oh go someone I mean it's very convenient stop yeah it's a very convenient stop for seeing a lot of these types of attractions in this area of Arizona in this Arizona area oh [Music] [Music] so Williams has some Route 66 history too that they embraced that was a really cute Diner going to take some piics out here before we move along [Music] all right let's hit the road and get to Vegas last Town bypassed by I40 historic 66 [Music] strs everywhere want to see up no laot of [Music] rocks it looks so cool it's raining just right there it looks like an upside down volcano or something really cool little spr in here but right there it's like a mining town or something oh look at that goes on forever [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] almost there almost to Vegas woo this drive has been [Music] [Applause] [Music] crazy we're back Bab [Music] [Applause] baby so excited [Music] [Music] we made it after a long long day of driving seeing sights being outside in the sun doing this that and the other we have made it to Las Vegas baby so I'm showing you the room right now but I'll show you the hotel we're staying at the park MGM is a non-smoking hotel last time we stayed at the Mirage and we did really enjoy it but most of the hotels here the casinos they're smoking in them and it kind of permeates so it smells so fresh and clean in here and it looks so beautiful and clean and modern it's also got this like Lush dark green it is gorgeous our view is amazing we are so excited to spent two days in Vegas we came here last year for the first time ever and well I'll talk about it more in the next video where I'll show you around our hotel and all the fun things that we are going to do here and the luxuriating and relaxing that we are going to do here so I'm going to wrap this video up I hope you enjoyed spending the day with us traversing from Arizona into Nevada I think in my last video I said Nevada and I was strongly corrected that it's Nevada but I still keep trying to check myself and make sure I'm saying it right Nevada cuz it's you know it's a thing it's how it's pronounced I get it I feel you but it was my first time here but now we're here and we're ready to party and relax and luxuriate and enjoy Vegas and show you so many cool things so let me know what
