(upbeat music) - [Both] Hello friends, and
welcome to another video. - [Safiya] This week we're gonna be taking an old FedEx truck, turning
it into a nail polish truck, and then driving it around town for a day. Will we survive?
- Let's find out. - [Safiya] So, as some
of you guys may know, my friend Cristine,
aka, Simply Nailogical, is a longtime nail polish lover, reviewer, and expert who a few years ago launched her own nail
polish brand Holo Taco, and after four years and
over 150 shades launched, I think it's fair to say
that she's killing it. Now, I certainly have less
expertise in nail polish than Cristine. My mom wouldn't let me
paint my nails as a kid, and my skills never really recovered, but I do love me some Holo Taco polishes, and I do also love concocting
custom colors and shades, both by blending them up on purpose and also by letting
the shades happen to me while mixing up large quantities of different things together. So when Cristine asked
me to collab with her on a nail polish collection, I of course clambered
aboard as fast as I could. And after combining Cristine's
nail polish know-how and love of Holo and my unstoppable slightly unhinged need to birth new colors, we brewed up five new polishes that I hope you guys will really love. And when thinking about
how to launch our collab, I have always had this kind of crazy idea that I've wanted to try being a huge fan of "The
Great Food Truck Race" on Food Network. I've been interested in the
idea of getting, building, or running a food truck
for a video for years and partially inspired by the Kylie Cosmetics mobile makeup truck and the Oscar Meyer Wiener Mobile, I thought, why not try and get a truck and somehow turn it
into a nail polish truck that we could run for a
day, drive around town, and give away some of
our collab polishes from and after talking Cristine and her boyfriend slash
partner in crime, Ben into it, they agreed that we could try it out. I mean, it's kind of perfect, right? It's not a taco truck,
it's a Holo Taco truck. I mean, come on. That's pretty good. But before we get to acquiring and renovating a truck for Cristine, let me just touch on our
collection really quick. Cristine and I have been
working on these bad boys for a little over a year, and after months of ideating, swatching, tweaking and swatching again, we ended up with these
five captivating shades, some of which were inspired by some colors that I have concocted in the past, as well as a couple of new colors that I felt like really fit that mysterious witchy spell
book vibe we were going for. First up, we have Bat B*tch, which is a take on the
classic black nail polish, but with a hint of
subtle, yet not so subtle, eggplant and blue shimmers. So it's like a glamorous,
sparkly black nail polish. Next we have Spirit Fingers, which is a ghostly gray polish with a dash of scattered sparkles and a pinch of red iridescent shimmer. We were going for something
supernatural here, and this color is honestly
kind of magic in my opinion. Then we have a Berry Me in Holo, which is a berry pinky red
crushed holographic polish, inspired by the many of our bad makeup slash beauty science
experiments that have ended up that signature berry color. And then we have Brucie, which is a deep teal
linear holographic shade, inspired by one of our OG
custom lipstick creations, also named Brucie that is
just like that perfect stormy take to the sea kind of color. And then finally, we
have Feeling Fiendish, which is a mauve-y pinky, slightly
grayish purple creme polish, which I feel like is a mischievous
yet kind of understated, perfectly unusual, everyday kind of shade. I really hope you guys like
these dudes as much as I do. It's been kind of hard
keeping them hidden, especially with all of those Holo Taco detectives out there. But all five shades are
live now on HoloTaco.com, albeit for a limited time. And if you're interested, you
can snag them individually and in a special collection box, as well as a Safiya X Holo
Taco black crystal nail file and some baby bat glitters. So with Cristine holding
up her end of the bargain and churning out some bewitching
beautiful nail polishes, it's time to build her a truck. So a nail polish truck,
where do we really begin? I guess the first step here is to acquire a truck of some sort. And though I suppose we could have bought or commissioned a new truck, we did in our initial searches, stumble upon this lady, oh my word, an old FedEx truck that
was pretty affordable and kind of just sitting
there ready for some love. And after getting it
checked out by a mechanic, he confirmed that though
there were certainly a number of things wrong with it, it was fixable and would
probably eventually be able to drive.
- That arrow's ours. - [Safiya] So we snagged it and towed our new old FedEx truck to Jack of All Trades by George, a custom auto shop in Raleigh that specializes in designing
and making food trucks, RVs and campers. And met with George Campeau, who is the George in Jack
of All Trades by George, resident food truck guru, and head honcho. - I mean, we built it all
from barber shops on wheels to mobile pet grooming vehicles,
food trucks, promotional, you name it, we've done it. We do obscure things on wheels, and that's our middle name.
- Obscure things on wheels. - Obscure things on wheels. I like that.
- That's a good, that's good. - [Safiya] And after giving our
truck a thorough inspection, he assured us that we
would be able to remodel it into something more like
what we were looking for with the idea that what
we would bare minimum need from a nail polish truck would be to be able to drive from
location to location and distribute nail
polishes from said truck, along with potentially
other small goodies. - [George] It sounds like what
you're wanting to do is just, you know, a very wide open truck. - [Safiya] So George proposed
that we make over the interior to be more like a merchandise truck and walked us through some
other trucks in his garage to help us visualize what our truck might end up looking like. - This truck looks just like
yours, of course it's just new. You have to look past
what's in your truck. Just because it's been used but it doesn't mean that it
doesn't have life still in it. - Yeah, but your truck's
gonna look just like this on the inside. - And the plan we came up with was to clean out the
insides of Ye Old FedEx Lady and install some new lighting, and then at a whole bunch of shelves and tables around the perimeters so we had space for polishes, as well as of course cut that
classic food truck window into the side wall. Although according to George,
apparently at 14 feet long, our truck was on the smaller side, which meant that our
window was gonna have to be a little more compact. - So this is what we
call the micro window. - Great.
- For micro trucks. So you have a micro truck. So this would be the micro-
- Micro truck. - Micro truck.
- So I have a little problem. It's called a micro truck.
(all laughing) No, to be honest, the
truck seems huge to me, so I really don't know
what he's talking about. - It's not that small.
(all laughing) It's a micro-
- It's average size. - It's average size. Go on. It's micro.
- But micro or not, we definitely needed a window
to shuck nail polishes from. 1 million nail polishes please. Now, conspicuously absent
from our spec was any stoves, ovens, or deep fryers. We had at some point considered
actually serving tacos off of our Holo Taco truck but it seems that
preparing and selling food off of a food truck
requires a lot of permits and permissions, which is, you know, fair. So we decided to hold off
on those, at least for now. We did, however, decide to
add a sink and a second sink, two sinks right here, and a fridge over here in
case we maybe wanted to store or make like holographic lattes or some Berry Me in Boba Tea drinks, as well as a fair amount of counter space and many outlets for any appliances or nail polish painting
robots we wanted to bring in. And after George showed me the PA system that he's built into other trucks. This is like the DJ station. (horn blaring) Ah, wow. It's like a soundboard in here. - You don't want to be
heard out there, right? I mean you know? - [Safiya] I figured Cristine
might need one of those too. - [Tyler] What do
you think? What do you- - Oh my God imagine doing
like a Cristine Soundboard but like on speakers outside of the truck. - Yeah.
- And those were most of the things that we
were gonna do to the interior, except maybe also give a
little facelift to the cab, which had certainly seen better days. Yeah so then this is my chair. - Yeah.
- And then this, this thing is Cristine's seat. This. (laughs) This seat just for Cristine. Though despite the truck
still looking like this, I could see the vision. For some reason I envision us driving like Cruella De Vil's sidekicks. You know what I mean? Like in the truck? You know exactly what I mean. - [Tyler] I do know what you mean. - [Safiya] This whole
video is about promoting a nail polish collaboration right? Have we lost the plot yet
or are we still on it? So with that plan in
mind, we got cracking. As George and his team started by gutting the interior of the truck and removing the old
FedEx package shelves, and then power washing it to all hell to get all the gunk off, as well as removing the
FedEx logo from the outside by melting off the
letters with a heat lamp. Nice. Then George and team installed us some nice recessed
lighting in our ceiling, as well as added some fresh
insulation to the walls, and then also added the walls themselves. And then it was time for the
big cut, our micro window, which still does not look
all that micro to me. After that, the shelf sinks and fridge were installed into the interior, and George also had his team target our various electrical problems, like the ignition switch and headlights. And after all that work was done. - [Tyler] It's not a FedEx truck anymore. - [Safiya] After a quick peek around and a test of the new and
very necessary PA system. - Well, we do have it really loud so. - Yeah, a little less loud, maybe like- - Yeah it's still loud.
(PA blaring) We're getting it. - Yeah I think Cristine's
gonna like this the best. - Unfortunately.
- I think she's gonna like this part the best. We were pretty much ready
for our beautifying steps, so we pulled our truck into the wrap bay where we passed it off into the capable hands
of Kevin resident wrap and graphic design expert. And our idea here was to wrap
the exterior of the truck to match our polish collection box to make it like a giant
collection box on wheels with a lot of nail polish inside. And we had actually thought
of that when going through different iterations of
designing the box itself, like slightly taking into consideration what would look good on a big truck. And besides expertly wrapping
the exterior of our truck, Kevin also added a few finishing accents, like an interior lighter
purple display wall opposite our window to
really make the inside pop, as well as these custom
holographic hubcaps on our reels. - Oh damn that's cool.
- Something like that. - Yeah.
- Or we could do like matte black with your
colors or something like that. - [Safiya] The black looks good. And after a few months
of secretly crafting our definitely not micro, definitely magnum nail polish truck, it was finally finished and
it was time to show Cristine what we had made for her. I hope Cristine likes this. We're just like. Hello hope you like this. Now, we had planned a truck
event day for June 10th, where we would basically
be driving our truck to three different locations, staying there for a few hours
to give away free nail polish, and then driving on to the next spot. And a couple of days before the event, Cristine and Ben flew down to Raleigh so we could get them acquainted
with our shiny remade truck. And after a quick stop at
the Cheesecake Factory. Full belly, smooth heads. (all laughing) it was reveal time. - [Tyler] We kinda have one chance of this for it to be real. - Can't act. No acting allowed. - No.
- No. You're not acting. Yeah you haven't seen it, right? - No.
- There you go. See? Okay. - [Safiya] I was a little nervous to see Cristine's reaction. Door's opening. All right, we're going in. Thank you, Melissa.
- Is there a step? - [Safiya] There is a small
step right there you're good. You're good.
- Okay. (all laughing) - [Safiya] I mean, I thought
she was gonna like it, but there's always that
little sliver of doubt. All right. A little bit forward.
- Okay. A little bit forward, all right, and then we're gonna turn
left, we're gonna turn left. Yeah.
- Right left. - This is perfect, okay. Cristine, you can open your eyes. - Oh my God, it's so big.
- Right? Isn't it huge?
- Oh my God, she's beautiful. - I know. Isn't she cool?
- I love her. Oh, we did that. Oh my God. - [Safiya] And I think
we did pretty good, guys. - Can I touch her?
- Yeah. As you can see, Ye Old FedEx was basically a whole new truck. - Wow. Look, we match. - That's on purpose. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - The exterior wrap looked pretty perfect with giant bats and moons. And Cristine was quite pleased
with the real Holo foil. - It's real holo?
- It's real holo. - Oh my God.
- No fake holo for the truck. Okay. - [Both] Holo friends.
- Wow. - [Safiya] And after thoroughly
inspecting the outside. - Look at the wheels. Oh my God. - I know. Did you see those? - [Safiya] It seemed
like it had passed muster with flying colors. - [Cristine] It's so nice.
Okay, when can I move in? - I mean, I, you're here, right? I thought it was now. - [Tyler] You're staying
in North Carolina right? - I'm moving this is my new mobile home. - Have you seen "90 Day Fiance?" - The 90 days starts now.
- Now. Let's go. - [Safiya] So now is time to
give her a tour of the inside. Step onto your truck, my lady. - Thank you madam. Let's go. Oh my God.
- So this is is the cab. You can sit, you can sit.
- Okay, let's go. I'm ready.
- She thinks she's driving. And as you can see, the
makeover was pretty extreme. - [Cristine] Oh my God, this is so big. - [Safiya] The interior
lighting was bright. The shelves were nice and shiny. - Dude oh my God. Is that a PA system? - Wait, I have to show you. I'm giving you the tour.
- This is the tour. - This is the tour. I'm
giving you the tour okay? - [Cristine] Yes Safiya. - [Tyler] Haven't you
ever did a house tour? - [Safiya] And our collab
logo was everywhere, like on our fridge and
our back display wall. This is not an R I saw some people- - Yeah this is an X. - They thought it was like
Safiya in an Australian accent. - Safiya. Safiya no. - [Safiya] And our window
was working pretty great. Look at that window in
action, hello Sailor. And I think these open.
- Hello? - Hello.
- Hello. Anyone wants some nail polish? - [Safiya] And our PA system
was for better or for worse, fully functional. Hello?
- Hello everyone. How? How are you doing? - Say it exactly like that.
- What have we unleashed? - And it seemed like though
Ben had his reservations- - They shouldn't let Cristine
drive this thing, right? What? Hello? You talking to me? This is a bad idea. What are we doing? - [Safiya] He was warming
up to the truck pretty fast. - [All] Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben. - [Tyler] He's been summoned, you see? That's how it works. - [Safiya] Or maybe he was just hungry. - Could I get two chicken tacos al pastor. - [Safiya] And after giving
Cristine and Ben the full tour, the only thing left to do was to make sure we knew how to drive this thing. Assume your positions. - Alright, captain, I'm seated. - Hey George. I think we need some help. - I can most certainly do that. - Which had been weighing
on my mind the entire time. I've just been thinking
about disaster scenarios from "Food Truck Road Trip" in my head. Like the Philly guys, when
they ran into the sign, like the Alaskan ladies when they knocked over the light pole, the one chick that got hit
in the head with the awning. - Yeah.
- That's gonna happen to me. I feel like all those things
are gonna happen to me. - [Tyler] Let's not have
any of those things happen. - [Safiya] Because as
much as it was supposedly a small truck, it is still much bigger
than our Subaru Outback. - [George] Even though I
called it a small vehicle. It's a big vehicle. - Now you admit it. You finally admit it. - I finally admitted it. - It's a big truck okay? - It's a big truck. - It's average sized George. - It looks big now. - [Safiya] And as much as
it would be comical for me to immediately crash it.
- Okay it's ready. Now just keep turning her
over until she cranks. (engine roaring)
Oh. - [Safiya] It would be
for the best if I didn't. Oh, I see there's some stairs back there. - Yep.
- Don't hit them. - Thanks.
- Perfect. - [Safiya] Lil tap, lil
love tap on the stairs. And after a quick driving
tutorial from George. All right!
(all cheering) All right.
- Good job. Good job. - We're driving the truck.
- You drove it. - Okay.
- You did it. - All right Cristine's turn.
- Oh my God. Where Cristine got to try
being in the driver's seat as well. She died as she lived driving
a giant nail polished truck. Though Cristine was not on the insurance, so that was about as much driving as she was gonna get to do. - Tyler, watch out. Tyler, be careful. Oh my God.
- We lived. we survived.
- We did. - Yeah.
- Wow. You seemed pretty confident. - Good job.
- In there, yeah. - How close did I get to you?
- You know. - [Safiya] It was time to drive our truck off into the sunset. - Hell yeah.
- Let's go. - Pretty good.
- Woo. This door's completely open. I originally meant to just
drive the truck out of the shop and into a parking space outside, but I got a sudden burst of confidence and just went with it.
- Oh damn. She's going, she's zooming.
- Okay let's go home. - [Safiya] Hey look, I'm
driving a nail polish truck. - [Tyler] What terror have we unleashed? - So then the next day was
the day of our truck event and we got to Jack of All
Trades bright and early so we could hit the road. All right I brought my driver's license. - It's sunny.
- Let's go. - [Tyler] Yeah, drive safe. - [Safiya] Our first of
three locations was over at this mall called Fenton, which was about 15 minutes away. Hello Ben and Melissa. Alright, we're off.
- We're off. Let's go. - [Safiya] Which of course would require that I drive on the actual road. Alright, we look like we're clear. - Okay.
(both cheering) - All right!
- Oh my God. - [Safiya] Which was a lot more intense than just the parking lot. Holy (beep) I can't believe
we're driving this like... Who are we? I don't know. But after a bit.
- Road trip! - We made it to Fenton.
- Safiya's driving oh god. - We had promoted the
event a bit beforehand and we were hoping that
some people would come since we had brought a
fair amount of nail polish to give away. - Oh my God.
- Hello. - [Cristine] Hello everyone. Hello. Oh my God. It's a lot of Holo Tacos. - [Safiya] But you guys really turned out, which was awesome but that did mean that
I had to parallel park in front of everyone,
which was less awesome. I just parallel parked in front of like a couple hundred people. - 18 point turn.
- That was terrifying. - [Safiya] And after saying
a quick hi to everyone. - Hello.
- We'll be right back. - Be right back.
- Right back. - Hey. How's it going?
- Oh my god. - Thank you for coming.
(crowd cheering) - [Safiya] We christened our
heavily anticipated PA system. Hello? Can you hear it? - Yeah.
- Oh, they can hear it. - I think I can hear it.
- Hello everyone. It's me, Cristine again. (all laughing) - [Safiya] And then it was
finally time to unleash the taco. Are we ready you all?
(crowd cheering) - [Both] Three, two, one. (crowd cheering) - Who wants nail polish? (crowd cheering) - [Safiya] Now we had
brought about 1200 units of our Feeling Fiendish
polish to give away. - Hello?
- Hello. How are you? How are you?
- We came from Ohio. - Oh my God. - [Safiya] Partially because
it was one of the first colors we had developed.
- What's your name. - I'm Alexis.
- Alexis, nice to meet you. - We are in sync right now, we're saying the exact same thing. - What's wrong with us? - [Tyler] Is someone FaceTiming in? - Yeah.
- Oh yeah. - It's Kayla.
- Hey Kayla. What's up? How's it going? - [Safiya] And because of
the timing of the event, we didn't wanna spoil the
entire collection just yet, but also it matches the
truck, so that's fine. - I feel like I'm blacking out?
I need to black to black back in. - Black back in, I just blacked back in. what am I doing in a truck? - Oh my god, love your shirt. - [Safiya] We also wanted
to have a little bonus thing at each location and at Fenton we had a
couple of manicure stations set up nearby so people could get their nails
painted with the new polish. But a bunch of you guys had
already painted your nails and brought us some
serious nail art to see. - [Cristine] Look at the
nails. They're so good. I love your nail. Oh my god, I love them. - [Safiya] Lots of purple,
bats, the Miami Heat. You guys really got the memo. Besides that, we also got
the pleasure of meeting a life-size Holo Taco bottle. Yeah. - This is a heavy duty
trash bag for the texture. - Wow.
- It's like Holo trash. I love that aesthetic. - Yeah.
- Wow. - [Safiya] As well as a group of lobsters, some head to toe holo wearing fiends. - Look at the outfit.
- Is that real Holo? - Wow.
- Head to toe holo makeovers. - [Safiya] And one
patron who brought a book full of every Holo Taco shade ever. - Well, I'll get to add
to Safiya one in there. - Oh yeah. - [Safiya] Our only real
issue was the competition. - Ben is just floating around right now. I just saw him doing a meet- - Focused on doing his own meetup. - [Tyler] Impromptu meet and
greet outside of anthropology. (all laughing) - Is that real?
- I, he's out there. Yeah. - [Safiya] So that was something we were gonna have to take
care of at future stops. - Ben, what the (beep), that's
my competition over there. - He's literally running a competitive meet and greet right now. - Yeah. Like it's illegal. - [Safiya] And after a few hours and a few hundred nail polishes, it was time to pack up our truck and move on to our second
location at the North Hills Mall a few miles away.
- Okay, let's go. Stop two, we're pros at this now. - [Safiya] Here we go And I had really been
doing such a good job driving the truck, I swear.
- A left uh oh. - My only mess up of the day
was that driving up to our spot at North Hills, I hit the curb
(crowd laughing) and everyone saw. I totally hit the curb over there. And after saying hello to everyone, including North Hills Security. - [Tyler] Security's MVP here. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. - [Safiya] Which seemed
to really pump Simply up. - Let's open the truck.
(crowd cheering) Cristine is on another level right now. - [Tyler] Yeah no yeah. - [Safiya] We resumed our stations and started slinging some more polish. - Hello. How are you?
- Hi. - Want a nail polish.
- Yes, I do, yeah. - [Safiya] And at North Hills we ran into some Holo Taco detectives,
a Holo Taco purse, multiple impressive and terrifying
nail polished peely bags. - They brought me a peely bag. - [Safiya] As well as a fair
amount of impressive nail art that was still attached to nails. - Beautiful.
- Oh my God. Is that a reverse reciprocal gradient? That was like the hardest manicure ever and she just said-
- At this location we had actually commissioned
our friends at Escazu to make some matching chocolates for us to hand out alongside our nail polish. - [Cristine] Oh my god. It's
literally the same color. Can I have one?
- Yeah. Try it. The shade match tastes good. - [Safiya] And in order
to stop Ben from running his own competitive meet and
greet, we had the perfect idea. - [Tyler] We're gonna send
you out with chocolate. Okay Ben?
- Oh I'm chocolate Ben? - [Tyler] Ben, you have
purple on you are Willy Wonka. - And task him with taking the custom matching
chocolates out to the crowd. - [Tyler] You're supposed
to bring the sunshine okay? You're the Candyman. Okay? - [Safiya] And thus like Timothy Chalamet, Ben became a young Willy Wonka. - I came here straight after
I finished my EMT exam. - How'd it go? - So now I'm officially an EMT basic. - [Tyler] Oh hell yeah. Congratulations. Two chocolates. Two chocolates. - [Safiya] Congratulations
on becoming an EMT. - I tried maple syrup.
- Oh yeah. What did you think? Did it change your life? - I don't love it but it is different. - Give me that chocolate. - [Safiya] And let's be real, you were kind of playing
with fire on that one. And so after a few hours. - Yeah let's go. Thank you. - [Safiya] It was time
to pack up once again and head over to our
third and final location. - All right last stop. Let's go. - [Safiya] The appropriately
named Smoky Hollow in downtown Raleigh. - There they are on the
right. Hello everyone. Holo! They can't hear us. - [Safiya] Now we had all seen the effects that caffeine has on Cristine,
both outside the truck. - Safiya X Holo Taco, yeah!
(crowd cheering) Let's go! - Let's go!
- Let's go. - [Safiya] As well as the repercussions on the inside of the truck. - Holo Taco.
- Holo Taco, Holo Taco. - [Safiya] So fortuitously
or terrifyingly? - You have the goods? - I don't know what
this is, but it's heavy. - That's a 50 ccs of tea baby. - Our special bonus giveaway
item at this location was a blueberry lychee
Jasmine Boba tea drink from local Boba Shop Milk Lab, which was also purple to match our polish. - For a drink it gets pretty damn close. - It tastes so good.
- Now though I do think Ben did a good
job being the Candyman and handing out chocolates, he's a natural at a handing out tea. So he started taking
drinks out to the crowd waiting in line. - Man.
- Ben has the tea. - Who has the tea?
- Ben. - And people knew exactly
how to summon him. - Ben.
- Ben! Thank you, yes please.
- Ben! - [Safiya] And the Ben
chants didn't stop there. - [Crowd] Ben, Ben, Ben,
Tyler, Tyler, Tyler. - [Safiya] In fact,
they were so thunderous that we wanted to see if
Tyler and Ben could give me and Cristine a break and
run the truck for a second. - One minute.
- One minute please. - Be right back.
- Hello friends. All right, we'll see the
next person here, yes. - And strangely, this failed horribly. - What just happened? - This is the quietest it's been all day. When the door opened, it
was shocking actually. - What about Bentendo? - Just a blank look on their
face as they walked up. - Really? I'll never forget that face.
- Oh no. - [Safiya] So Simply
and I retook the helm. - Hello.
- Hi. - Hi.
- How are you? - Just in time to see an OG
Frankenphora lipstick from 2018. - Wow.
- That's crazy. - Can I see it? Oh my God,
it is pristine, untouched. - [Safiya] Now we hadn't
been able to do this at the last few stops. - She water marbled her nails
and she's speaking french. - [Safiya] Because we had to
move on to the next location after a few hours.
- Oh. - It's from the cheese festival. - [Tyler] Oh really? Speaking
of cheese, you want pizza? - Yeah. But since this was our
final stop of the day Simply and I were resolved to stay as late as we needed to, to at
least say hi to everyone. We're gonna try and get
through the whole line. - Yes.
- We're gonna try and fudge it, we'll see if
security will let us stay. - [Tyler] Thank you for hanging out guys. - [Safiya] Even if that meant
we ran out of nail polish. Seven nail polishes left total. - Seven nail polishes?
- Seven. And as the sun set and our final
polishes left the building. you guys get the last two nail polishes. With our caffeine high
withering and our promised pizza no where in sight. Where was that pizza? - I don't (beep) know.
- Yeah, what the (beep)? - what the (beep) happened to the pizza? - I think Ishara's on
the phone with Domino's for the last 30 minutes.
- You lied to us. - Liar.
- I did not lie. - Liar.
- Unsubscribe from Tyler Williams. - [Safiya] We had finally got the chance to say hi to everyone at the stop. All right.
- Thank you. - Bye.
- Thank you for coming. - Bye guys. Thank you. And with that, it was
time to close up shop. All right I'm calling it.
- Are we closing? - [Tyler] You're done selling for the day. - And Face plant.
- See y'all later. - [Safiya] Bye. Now even though our day
on our nail polish truck was kind of manic...
- We did it. That was insane.
- All right. - I can't believe we made it. - [Safiya] I had a really,
really, really good time and kind of got to realize a
years long dream of building and running a custom truck for a day. So thanks to all of you
who came out to see us. It was so great to meet you all. And also thanks to our friends
at Escazú and Milklab, all the members of our
team, the Holo Taco team, and obviously George and his whole team for helping us make this
event and truck a reality, and thanks to Cristine and Ben for agreeing to my crazy
idea in the first place. I know that the end result was basically that I put Cristine to
work for about 12 hours but I really wanted to prepare
this truck and this event for Cristine to celebrate our collab and also to kind of pay
homage to all of the hard work she's poured into Holo Taco
and all of her success. I know it sounds kind of cheesy, but I'm really proud of her. Once again, I hope you
guys love this collection as much as I do. And it's available now on HoloTaco.com for a limited time. And who knows, maybe if you're in Raleigh you'll see the Holo Taco
truck driving around sometime. All right, peace out guys.
