[Music] it's Saturday night in Nashville Tennessee in time for another big match our grand ole opry live here on the dash for live hi everybody I'm Keith Bilbrey I've been watching backstage you know what a treat you're in for a guitar bowl to end all guitar poles we've got joe diffie Travis Tritt Steve Warner and the legendary Waylon Jennings all on stage at once to play some great music just gonna pass a guitar around and have a great time here at the Grand Ole Opry tonight it's gonna be very special so stay with us hey there's Joe Diffie right now the back of Joe's if he's head where'd you get your hair cut son well come on who else know we're gonna have a great time tonight so sit back and relax and get ready for our great half-hour of great music here on the Nashville Network on the Grand Ole Opry you're seeing a half-hour portion of a two and a half hour show but it's gonna be mighty special tonight so we invite you to not miss one single solitary minute now the hosts of all this gathering isn't Fela you know well he's a legend here at the Grand Ole Opry and in country music he's the tall thin man from West Plains Missouri a legend in his own right mr. Porter Wagner so we're gonna go I think he's out in the audience as a matter of fact we're gonna go check with Porter right now let's go out there and he'll introduce all the participants tonight here's Porter Wagner thank you we have a little miscommunication here I believe the curtain is supposed to be back down until I introduce the show ladies and gentlemen and while we're getting our guests in place if you will lower the curtain back down we don't see part of them out here this is thank you we didn't rehearse that but four times so uh we got it right now ladies and gentlemen it's a special night at the Grand Ole Opry when this curtain goes up the next time you will see and hear four of the greatest country singers in country music today and it's a real thrill and a very special moment for me to end by four of my great friends and I want you all to let them know how happy you are that they are here tonight Travis Tripp Waylon Jennings Joe give me Steve [Applause] probably some were in the world that's watching television night maybe has never heard these guys biggest hit to start our show I'm going to have each one of them to sing you a verse and course of we're corn don't grow like so many other things in my life this guy's sitting over here on my right has been an inspiration to me on practically everything I've done in my career I've tried to copy him and I just had to leave him of songs alone this is this is one that I got the entire blueprint for the headway we record this from as we settle staring nappin disputes we're back that he worked going to have six of them out here one of them is in Portland Oregon tonight which is Vince Gill must dedicate this to him and the other one is Marty Stewart and he's in lonely West Virginia something that I'll only wear I asked these guys to do one of their favorite songs boy this is great for Tuesday Joe and I we kind of agree this is definitely one of our favorite Elmi the words up will just spit home [Music] [Applause] just because I spoke her name somewhere just because I've raised her number by mistake today she thinks I still care [Applause] just because I haul the same home places where the memory of learning [Music] just because I'm not the happy guy I used to be she things are still oh if she's happy thinking I still need then I let that she lead us bring her tea oh how it's all food Oh where did she get such an [Music] we'll just because ask a friend about [Music] just because ass name somewhere just because I saw her she thinks I still did she still [Music] now that's what I call dangerously good ain't kidding wonderful job boys thank you no Travis mentioned while ago what a creator this guy is here he really has done a lot for country music music in general he's a great creative man and this is a song that I always loved from the time it came out it was a number-one record how about good hearted woman there [Applause] [Music] you're the one in the wrong key they slow it down a little bit that's Willie Nelson style a long time forgot [Music] [Applause] the good life we promise ain't what she live in today but she never complains of the bad times of the I grew up in north Alabama, and driving up to Nashville to attend the Grand Ole Opry was always something I enjoyed. You never know what big name will drop by for a surprise performance. We just happened to be there the night Brad Paisley was unexpectedly asked to become a member of the Opry, which is a big honor. That was pretty memorable.

This was fantastic. I've never seen it before, but I love all four (five!) of those men. Really enjoyed watching this. I was grinning from ear to ear the entire time.
