watching from i want to say welcome uh welcome to benj 777 sandy you're welcome jill you're welcome jana you're welcome anne white you're welcome um janine great to see you great to see you janet as well well wherever you're watching from let us know if it's your first time uh tune in to any of these uh sessions when i say welcome uh tonight is the teaching session and i'm going to be going through a few scriptures and we're going to be uh going into the word of god so you might want to get your bibles uh with you uh if your first time tuning into any of these this is prayer storm uh we are a movement of prayer and fasting contending for revival and the move of heaven what god wants doing the earth and we are all about equipping you to be everything god's called you to be we are here as a catalyst to awaken uh to stir your heart uh into new things in god and so thank you for joining us today um we're going to be going into lots of uh things in a few moments but i just want to take uh some time to welcome janice says she's watching from glasgow welcome janet actually let us know where you're watching from as well you know if you're new on here let us know if i don't miss the comment i might give you a shout out as well um so i know you've been hearing us say this over and over again but i'm going to remind you in case you didn't know i read a book it's called a life on just about prayer it's about purity as well uh in fact that's really the central theme of what it's about in many ways but prayer is obviously going to be all around it and i'm going to be teaching on bits that touch on uh bits of touch done here in this book i think last week i did a teaching from here about the inner room you can definitely check that out it was about the secret place ie known as the inner room and we talked about jehu and i just touched a bit about the anointing two dimensions of the anointing you need to be familiar with as a believer that wants to be used by god and so if you miss that teaching you can definitely just uh go back into i don't know prayer storm tv by the way if you're watching on youtube like the video share whatever you think you'll be a blessing to um yeah so you can go into the the i guess archives you can watch that i'm sure that will be a blessing to you as well so i'll be doing a bit of teaching from this book in a few moments thank you for joining us i'm just going to have a quick sip yeah praise god for water and i hope you like our different setup today i've got this table and i've got this you know it's a bit different to how we usually have it but you know i hope that this is a more engaging i like it even if you don't i like it so and i'm sure god likes it too well let's pray and we're going to go into some teaching uh today and uh believing that the lord will awaken our heart in a fresh way and set us on fire for him i mean recently uh my son justice was playing with a few people and he's asked me in the past daddy what are you most afraid of and i told him now i didn't know he was going to blow that out to everyone well this is what he said he said everyone's just playing he says my dad's biggest fears are wasting his life and snakes i think just randomly in the middle of nothing and the reason i'm saying that is actually when he asked me that what are you most afraid of and that that's what came to mind i didn't say i was scared of snakes no i don't like snakes let's just make that clear i do not like snakes however i i live with this awareness lord i don't want to waste my life and i don't know if you can identify with that emotion if i don't want to get to heaven and realize i've wasted uh my life on just trivial temporary things wrong ideologies and so it's always been able to call my heart the reason why i'm sharing that is as we just pray before we start going into the word of god i want you to live with that awareness god i don't want to waste my life in the earth on trivial things i want to be effective in everything you've called me to do i want to live to the max with the pure heart with the right vision right focus i don't want to live in deception because you can be deceived and no no you're deceived that's the nature of deception the people who are deceived don't know they're deceived so you're watching right now could be saved my friend and you need the holy spirit to help you with the spirit of truth he's the spirit of truth he opens our eyes to see what we've never seen before and so it's good to come before the lord in humility not act like we know it all even though i'm going to do some teaching i don't know it all but i'm going to tell you the things i do know and say with boldness because i believe god's going to use it to bring freedom to many of you watching today well let's pray father thank you for the spirit of wisdom and revelation without you we can do nothing it's not by power it's not by might but it's by your spirit and father today we're asking for the release of your spirit in a great measure even as we go through your word would you awaken within us the grace for intercession the grace to step into deeper places in prayer father and lord i ask that as your word comes for would you break every wrong ideology every wrong concept everything that we've believed that's true that's a lie would you begin to just dismantle that right now lord give me our trains to communicate your heart so clearly in a way that would really lead your people into freedom to be everything you've called them to be father so have your way in jesus name amen well the title of this session is watchmen intercessor i don't think i've ever done a public teaching on this uh uh but i just felt stirred to do some teachings around this thing because i have a lot of people in and the prayer movement circles and even the prophetic movement praying the perfect movement one in the same really and so i have lots of young people uh who are growing in things of god and i think it's helpful to bring some definition some clarity to some some terms and i did touch on some of that in my book in fact i'm just going to actually start by reading something i said in here joel 2 28 has become such a key scripture for us as a ministry in fact is our foundational scripture because that was the word the lord gave me many years ago when this ministry started uh joel 2 28 says in the last days i'll pour out my spirit on all flesh now you may hear me quote that scripture over and over again in different contexts because it's just so key for what we do we're believing for an outpouring of god's spirit on our flesh now i said this joel 2 28 talks about the prophetic anointing being released and mass as we get nearer to the return of christ the prophetic anointing was never supposed to be disconnected from the intercessory burden i want to repeat that statement the prophetic anointing was never supposed to be disconnected for from the intercessory burden and i'm going to be teaching on what it means to be an intercessor where intercession is and also what it means to be a watchman i'll touch on these things and so i would uh break this down a bit more but i just want to start with some of these statements i've written down here in the book these days listen these days it seems that many want to prophesy but few want to pray i don't even experience that i have definitely and i believe god is wanting us to not just be people who are eager for the gift of prophets to which the bible says we should be after he wants us to be people who are rooted in the place of prayer and intercession um and so the lord is calling us to not just be eager for the move of his spirit and things he can do through us and how we can use our voice to impact the nation he wants us to go deep in the sacred place with him i'm just going to read another line in here often we desire the prophetic mantle of elijah but despise his intercessory burden for a lost and broken nation i know i'm yet to define what intercession really is and i'm going to come to that in a moment i want to use some things i've i've written in this book as a springboard to step into this teaching oftentimes we celebrate people like elijah we celebrate the move of god through him and how god used him one of the greatest prophets i believe in i mean i would love to go back in time and just examine and watch what elijah was like you know and so you know we don't know much about his history apart from the fact that he just showed up out of nowhere seemingly in first king 17 and released the prophetic word well that does just that things like that just don't happen he had a history with god well james 5 gives us a bit of a background to who elijah was and tell us elijah was a man who prayed earnestly right and so i i hear that often we desire the prophetic mantle of elijah but his burden in intercession for a lost and broken nation his authority as a prophetic voice to the nation of israel was directly connected to the weight of the burden he carried in intercession okay so he wasn't just one that was wanting to speak the word of the lord he was carrying the nation on his heart and the depth of his prayer life so the burden he carried uh uh let me read that again his authority as a prophetic voice to the nation of israel was it was directly connected to the weight of the burden he carried in intercession and the depth of his prayer life in fact when we look through scripture we see that all effective prophetic voices were great intercessors as intercessors they were the voice of man to god and as prophets they were the voice of god to man okay i'm going to stop right there and i'm going to use some of those statements i've made right there in the book as a basis to go into the teaching today oftentimes we hear the word intercession being thrown around and i don't think people understand what intercession really is i want to say this from the start there is a difference between prayer and intercession you might go well i thought they were the same they are similar but very different intercession is prayer but prayer is not always intercession so i just wrote down a you know a brief definition here intercession is an act of praying the heart of god over a situation a place or person it can also be the act of standing on the gap in prayer between god a person a place or a situation by contending for the manifestation of the purposes of god or pleading for the mercy of god so intercession has varied expressions but primarily it's standing in between either the purposes of god being released in the earth or standing in between someone and you know and god and pleading a cause before the lord in prayer so in session the very critical thing now there is a myth out there and i want to destroy that myth right now there is no such thing as a gift of intercession there is no such thing as a gift of prayer there is no such thing all through scripture and i've read the bible several times back to back back to front as they say and i've never seen anything implied anyway that there's such a thing as a gift and so when we start to think of intercession as a gift for certain people you start to count yourself out if you feel you don't have the gift and you start to think well i guess they've got the gift i don't have the gift you know they can do all the intercession i don't have to do a detention intercession and so what happens is people start to get to a place where they start to outsource spiritual responsibility that god has actually placed on them and i want to make this very strong and very clear intercession is one of the primary functions of the people of god i'll repeat that again intercession is one of the primary functions of the people of god remember the scriptures when jesus quoted and we went to the temple and they were doing all the binding the cell and all the craziness and jesus got the whip and he started to you know he was really annoyed at the fact that they turned the temple into a place of merchandise and what did he say my house would be called a house of prayer he was quoted in isaiah for all nations it's not just a house of prayer whether it's just insular house of prayer for the nation so that is a work of intercession the people standing in between standing in the gap and so intercession is not a gift you are called to intercede you are called to a life of intercession and you you can't afford to get to a place where you start to see yourself as not an intercessor and someone else as an intercessor there is no such premise all through scripture god has called you as an intercessor and if i was in the physical room of your right now i want you to repeat after me say i am an intercessor i can hear it even though i can't hear it i'm imagining you saying that today i am an intern now you don't have to feel like you're an interest and i'm going to break this down even further because we have a narrow oftentimes we have a narrow idea of what an intercessor is we think i need to say so it's a certain type a certain person that prays in a certain way however they're all the different types of intercessors all through scripture before we even go through a scripture let me just give you an idea of how big intercession is in the heart of god jesus the bible says ever lives to make intercession for us now we know jesus was a prophet jesus was a pastor jesus was a teacher this is jesus was everything it was all it was a faithful ministry you know it was everything we don't hear that jesus is ever living to prophesy a verse we're doing that jesus ever living to be an apostle in hebrew it's talked about jesus as our high priest and he ever lives to make intercession so let's work this out for 30 years jesus prepared for ministry for three and a half years jesus did ministry and by the way a lot of that was prayer and now for over 2 000 years what's he doing interceding okay now let's go back to holy spirit romans 8 we know that the holy spirit is also an intercessor so holy spirit enables us to pray the bible clearly states that the holy spirit helps us to pray however the holy spirit himself is an intercessor so two-thirds of the godhead intercede see this is how much intercession is a big deal in the heart of god see jesus had his even before we started his ministry in that place he was his identity was tied to his relationship with god and in that place a lot of intercession and prayer was going i guarantee you before jesus picked his disciples it was on the mountain it was praying there was a lot going on between him and the father like i said there's a difference between prayer and intercession and i will come to that in a few moments hopefully i won't forget that now you got to understand intercession is one of the most significant things you can give yourself to as a believer now in the same way you go to church or you go to gathering and you have a worship leader the worship leader is first and foremost they're meant to be a worshiper secondly they have a leadership anointing on them hopefully they play an instrument hopefully they can sing in tune okay so when they worship the lord with the leadership grace on them in the area of uh not just helping others to worship also the plain of the instrument they're singing what happens is as they worship they inspire and enable an aid other people to do the same the worship leader is not there in the church to do your worship for you you don't you don't go to church on a sunday morning or whenever you go to church for a gathering and watch the worship leader lead worship and you just go hey you know let's say a worship leader's name is josh hey josh you know can you just do my worship for me today it doesn't work that way intercession is similar in that god has called us all to intercession now god has called us all to worship now within the context of god calling us all to worship right there are people that are anointed in leadership in that area in worship and we call them worship leaders and when they when they do what they do they inspire other people to step into the same grace in the same way they're people that would carry a grace in leadership and intercession that grace may be public on the platform and it may not be public on a platform but either ways when they do what they do they inspire you to do the same their job is not just to get all your prayer requests and do all the praying for you while you just try to outsource your prayer life to them it doesn't work that way you can't outsource your prayer life god wants you to rise up in intercession yourself for everything he wants to do in and through yourself i want to go back to the statement i made earlier that prayer is not necessarily intercession however intercession is prayer and i'm going to use this scripture to kind of establish this further you know the famous uh uh prayer which we often pray uh uh which we call our uh what's it what do we call that prayer again uh the lord's prayer that's it just went blank there for a moment the lord's prayer which we can find in matthew 6 okay matthew 6 verse verse 8. this is what he says therefore do not be like them for your father knows let me just backtrack because that that doesn't give you the context uh let's go from verse um from verse 7 when you pray do not use vain repetitions as the healings do for they think that they will be heard for their many words therefore do not be like them for your father knows the things you need before you ask in this manner therefore pray so we now go into this prayer now many of you would know this prayer because it's repeated very often i want to show you that god did not give us this prayer as a prayer just to repeat he actually gave us this prayer as a template because that jesus himself was praying for many hours on the mountain it's the bible says a great while before daylight he got up and he went to a quiet place and there he prayed mark tells us that so we know he spent a lot of hours in prayer okay for example when he came off the mountain walking on water he had been on that mountaintop praying for nothing nothing less than six hours it was up there just praying and con connecting and engaging in in dialogue and relationship with the father now he's spending multiple hours seven hours eight hours six hours in prayer okay and the disciples watch him do that they can see him heal the sick and do all these incredible things and they never asked him to teach them how to heal the sick and prophesy and do amazing things you know and raise the dead they said teach us how to pray and now this is the prayer he was giving him as a template now if you were to pray this whole prayer through which you're going to do in a moment you probably do it in 20 seconds or 30 seconds depending on how fast you can pray it okay so if jesus now the disciple says teach us to pray and jesus taught them this prayer says in this in this manner pray right and you pray the prayer and it takes you about 20 25 30 seconds you gotta really ask yourself what is jesus doing for six hours if the prayer he's giving me to pray only takes 30 seconds how is it that jesus is able to pray on the mountain for six seven eight hours and the prayer saying pray in this manner i can only repeat that prayer in 20 seconds see the point i'm trying to make is jesus was on the mountaintop praying for six hours the repeat version of this prayer where he was just saying our father in heaven hell of your name and then repeat to repeat for like eight hours i guarantee you that's not what jesus was doing however in this prayer we see a template of different types of prayer and i'm going to use this to establish how prayer is different to intercession so the lord's prayer starts with let me just read it through what we call the lord's prayer is actually the disciples prayer because it was the prayer was teaching them to adopt as a pattern our father in heaven hallowed be your name your kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors and do not lead us into temptation but deliver us from evil but yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever amen i don't know how long it took me to read that but that was pretty fast now let's break this down quickly just to show you a bit of a differentiation between different types of prayer in the lord's prayer our father is the starting point in the lord's prayer so that's establishing intimacy that's establishing relationship you can't call god father if you don't have relationship with him okay so the starting point of effectiveness in prayer is the realization that you are a child of the king your child of the lord of lords and so you're not just addressing him as a king even though he is as a warrior even though he is and all these amazing things that he is well you're addressing him as a father so that is really critical starting point but the next piece says our father who are in heaven okay his location right hallowed be your name the context hallowed be your name actually is more about worship so you start with relationship and intimacy the next bit is worship hallowed be your name is you're extolling you're declaring who god is worship and prayer are different but similar in worship you come into agreement with who god is but in prayer you come into agreement with what he wants to do okay so worship and prayer are two sides of the same coin now you start with relationship our father they go into worship which is hallowed be your name now the next part is critical your kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven is intercession why do i say that because in intercession remember my definition you are praying the heart of god over a situation over a person over a place when you're saying lord let your kingdom come lord let your will be done you're inviting god to come and have his way in a situation it doesn't have to be see this is why it's interesting it's not your will it's his will you're connecting with his desire and what he wants you saying lord let your will come let your kingdom come let your will be done and i'm not going to break that down any further talking about the kingdom of god because there's a lot in there however look at the journey of the lord's prayer what we call the lord's prayer okay so it starts with a focus on god intimacy relationship right worship then intercession your kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven then after that it goes to the next part give us so the the first half of the lord's prayer is focusing on god and the second half of the lord's prayer is focusing on us give us so that's what he called the prayer of petition many believers their whole prayer life is just in that that verse give us this their daily bread their whole prayer life is in a context of petition they only come to god when they want to get something from him they only come to god when they want him to do something for them and so they have a very shallow perspective of what prayer is all about so when you say to them i'm praying for a couple hours i'm praying for you know are you spending time you're like you know how can you pray for that long walk in fact before that verse what is it your heavenly father already knows what you have in it before you ask and so you know it's prayer is not just a way of getting god to do what you want to do how you want him to do it i always say this god is not a vending machine and so god is actually after the first thing we read there relationship he's your father he wants relationship and then you worship from that place and then as you worship you receive his burdens and then you can intercede so there is no such thing as a gift of intercession and this idea that some people are called to intercession and other peoples are not are not is a lie from the pit of hell i want to say that loud and clear not there's no such thing as some people are called to intercession and some people are not that's not true are you hearing me today i remember being in the meeting once and someone said all the intercessors stand up and i was like well i'm gonna stand up so i stood up expecting everyone to stand up in the room it was only a handful of people that stood up i'm thinking no no no no we need to correct an error here everyone is an intercessor everyone is called as an intercessor now don't count yourself out because you don't intercede like me okay because in the context of intercession they're different expressions of personality types and this is where sometimes people miss it maybe you've seen an intercessor when you've grown up in church that was an old lady that always prayed the back of the church and prayed for hours and everyone send her their prayer requests and all this stuff and she could prophesy and whatever it was and so your mindset was to be an intercessor you need to be like that lady or maybe you've seen another amazing christian leader who can pray up a storm and just the fire of god comes and knowledge prayer or whatever it is and you allow him i think he's an intercessor and so when we say you're called to intercession you start to measure yourself to all these other people and think you're not well that's a lie again a deception from hell because god has called you to be everything he's god wants you to be everything he's called you to be within the expression of how he's made you god has made you a certain way god did not want another version of james that's me otherwise he would have done like another i would have been a twain or actually don't know that scrap that scrap that take that back i've never been in 20 twins and no if i had two names i i've got twin friends they look exactly the same but completely different anointings similar but different in expression and calling okay so god does not want the exact replica of james right god wants diversity in his kingdom so god wants different expressions okay he wants uh a unity however in unity in real unity you have diversity let me say that again god wants unity but in real unity you have diversity because there is an understanding of identity god doesn't want you to lose your identity of who is called you to be you don't have to be like me but you have to be like everything god's called you to be and this is why sometimes you know i get kind of irritated when i i see people that get excited in a football game they're so excited about football they're so excited about whatever team they support and there's so much energy and and life in their voice when they talk about that team but when you say let's pray or let's do something spiritual the same people act like frozen chickens i'm thinking are you not the same person i was jumping up and down a few moments ago how is it that right now when it comes to prayer or anything spiritual you're shot down that is a work of darkness to stop you from being everything god's calling me you see the way i'm communicating right now i am very expressive i am animated and i can be loud because when i get upset i'm loud when i'm i'm when i'm on fire and i'm passionate i'm live he's just the way i am now you don't have to be like me you know you may be someone that's quiet and generally your disposition is gentle i've got friends like that just a gentle disposition i struggle to imagine them ever angry do you have people like that well that's the way god's made them so when they come into a place of spirituality they're gonna relate with god out of the personality he's giving them so god's giving you a personality for a reason he's not trying to make you someone else he wants you to be you and within your personality the authentic you you need to be able to express your spirituality so oftentimes when i pray i might be loud it's not every time i pray i'm loud but sometimes when i pray i am going to be loud so i'm not being loud because i think you have to be just like me however if you're like me and very expressive and come to the place of prayer and you're shot down then a death what's a mute spirit whatever it is the spirit of fear has shot you down and somehow that needs to be broken off of you because you need to be everything god's called you to be i'm trying to get you to see that intercession is not for certain people don't look at some woman of god as a man of god over there and say wow rich house one amazing thing to say wow a little one amazing success oh i guess i'm not called to intercession that again i'm going to stress that point that is like you are called to intersection now let's look through scripture give a few examples abraham was a friend of god was also called a prophet but also was called an intercessor so abraham was able to stand in the gap and was able to pray and contend for god's purposes uh for reason if i was playing for god's mercy actually and the way abraham went to see this was quite unique it was almost like he was entering into this battle with god give me 40. give me 30. give me 20. it was like a conversational kind of intercessory act see now hold abraham up on one hand let's talk about elijah elijah was another type of intercessor elijah was a prophet but elijah was an intercessor when elijah prayed no the bible says when he was praying for reign he put his head between his knees and he was in travail groaning crying out for rain okay now let's look at daniel daniel was another intercessor who contended for the purposes of god to be revealed and he went into fasting when i think about daniel and i think about jeremiah and i think about isaiah and i think about you know moses another intercessor and i think about abraham these were all significant men of god in fact think about esther significant men and women of god all through scripture bought different personalities different expressive but this is the one thing that ties them all together they were all intercessors so can somebody shout out loud i am an intercessor come on say that i am i need to say lord i am your intercessor in the earth see you don't have to intercede like me you don't have to pray like me but you have to own that identity because it's at the core of who god has made you he wants you to be a house of prayer and a house prayer is not just the building you go to where prayer meetings happen you are supposed to be that living temple the house of prayer for all nations that incense arises from you to the lord so i want to say to you don't despise intercession don't despise the ministry of intercession and count yourself out now having said all that saying you know intercessional gift there is a grace the bible calls it the spirit of grace and supplication and that's not to say if you don't have the grace you can't pray you can connect with god see the holy spirit is is in your spirit the holy spirit is within you right okay within you you have the holy spirit but you also have your spirit and the holy spirit is the intercessor and when you begin to exercise the gift god has given you for example praying in tongues is one of those things that you can stir your spirit up you can start to engage with the spirit of god within you and then start to tap into his burdens and you start to find that you start to pray in ways that are not coming from your intellect because it's spirit inspired and there's one of the things about intercession intercession is often effective when you're praying from the inspiration of god and the burden of god the stirring of the spirit romans 8 says this likewise the spirit also helps our weakness and if you think you're strong listen you've got lots of weaknesses especially when it comes to communicating with spirit beings we are weak as a human race we don't have the language we don't have the understanding we don't know the whole concept and everything about how to translate uh our desires and things that we want to see or things that god wants to see we don't know how to communicate to a spirit being effectively but the holy spirit knows how we should communicate so we have weaknesses i have weaknesses i don't oftentimes when i'm praying my team we say we don't know how to pray lord help us because we acknowledge our weakness we we don't have everything and listen to the next part of this i yes we have everything in christ i can't say well we've got all things right yes however when we start to pray we actually often will step from the flesh our understanding we need to enter into the place of revelation of the spirit we have the holy spirit and he has everything that's why we need to connect with the holy spirit but in our flesh we don't have anything in fact the flesh prophet nothing the bible says okay romans 8 it says romans 8 26 for we do not know what we should pray we do not know what we should pray as we ought to and if you break that down he's saying we lack knowledge of what to pray so in a given moment from the spirit realm from heaven's perspective the holy spirit knows what needs to be prayed but we don't always know that so we have a knowledge gap see this is why you got to understand that when you begin to engage with the holy spirit especially as it talks about right here in romans 8 because we don't know but it says the holy spirit knows right we'll come to that in a moment the knowledge gap can be filled by the holy spirit and i want to say to you one of the quickest ways to start to grow even in words of knowledge is learning how to engage with the spirit because the holy spirit has knowledge on of what needs to be prayed and when you get in the spirit and connect with the holy spirit he has he is like the greatest search engine that he searches the deep things of god and he can reveal to you can give you a knowledge on what you should pray so effective intercession is actually listed now for what god is wanting to be released in the earth and then praying it now there is a place for petition prayer which we touched on briefly we want to talk about lord's prayer petition prayers when you bring your request oh lord i need to pay my rent lord i need some money to buy this lord i need breakthrough there's nothing wrong with petition prayer however in an intercessory prayer effective intercessory prayer is spirit inspired because he gives the knowledge he gives the insight okay and then he says we don't know how we should how um let me read it properly we don't know what to what we should pray as we ought to so even if we had the knowledge we don't know the amount of prayer and we don't know all the protocols of how that prayer should be translated in the spirit in a way where it has impact in the realm in the heavens so there is lots of uh uh area there's lots of gaps and this is why to pray effectively there has to be a real understanding and value for the holy spirit because this voice is nice next but the spirit in himself make makes intercession for us that doesn't mean we just sit back and don't pray and oh yeah holy spirit just do all the intercession for me it actually means the spirit within you the holy spirit already within you helps you now he makes intercession for you but as you begin to press in past your flesh and say lord help me to pray lord i want to go deeper lord show me what's on your heart then his uh burdens remember i said intercession and it's often comes in the place of burn his burdens start to translate to your heart and as you begin to pray you can start to sense one is on the holy spirit's heart i don't know if it's happened to you before you start to pray with one idea but by the time you start the prayer you're somewhere else often times when i'm praying i pro you call it prophetic intercession you're praying by revelation okay in case you wonder what prophetic intercession is is when you're praying but by the current revelation faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of god and so when you're receiving from god as you're praying and it's like this kind of flow you pray and you receive and as you receive you pray it's like you enter into this this can rhythm and it's prophetic in session and when you step into that river if you've been there you know exactly what i'm saying prayer is very sweet it's very fun because you don't know what's going to happen next and whatever the lord reveals to you you just step into it and decree it and declare it and begin to pray the heart of god it might be calling out for mercy it might be contending for things because intercession has different manifestations and expressions but you're doing yourself a great disservice and you're putting yourself in a great place of danger if you think that is only for some specific people and others now having said that they're different types of intercessors i've already said as i've already looked at through scripture and oftentimes god would give intercessors unique assignment when i say intercessors now remember i said you are an interested in the intercessor god could give you a unique assignment okay so now in fact before i go into watchmen let me just read this out the church in the book of acts was a house of prayer first okay not i love this i wrote it so i'm like yeah i love that i'm reading it the church of prayer in the book of acts was a house of prayer first not a house of pastors not a house of apostles not a house of evangelists and not a house of prophet it was first a house of prayer how do i know this it was birth as a as a house of prayer first because they had to wait in the upper room in prayer seeking the lord and so their identity was first established as a house of prayer okay and intercession was at the core of their identity and you can see this all through the book of acts when they prayed there was a shaking when there was crisis they knew how to respond they had spiritual stamina and one of the problems we have in the west is we don't have a prayer culture we have prayer meetings when god never intends to do that prayer meetings he's called us to have a prayer culture the church in the book of heaven had a prayer culture you could pick any random person from the church and say let's pray and you were gonna have an incredible prayer time because they knew how to carry weight in the spirit in the place of prayer today you can pick you know this person over here who may be functioning in the gift of this prayer but he said let's pray and you can tell you see when you pray with people you start to feel them spiritually and you know i've done this for over 10 years now late prayer many times and you go into space and you pray you can feel where people are at and like yeah but you can move in the gifts but there is no spiritual weight there's no stamina because they don't know how to pray now the church was first and foremost established and birthed from the place of prayer the church was birthed acts 2. it was prayer they were in the opera and praying and boom there was an explosion and the church was birthed so at the core of their dna their birthing was the dna of prayer and intercession now listen to this jesus started the church how he wants it now he wants the church how he started it i'm going to say that one more time jesus started the church how he wants it as a people that understood their primary identity as praying people and intercessors now he wants the church how he started because now there's been deviations and people say well you know what i am this and i am that and i'm and i'm not this i'm not saying some people are not called to be uh apostles and some people are not called to be evangelists and some people are not called to prophets however don't forget in the midst of all that stuff that you think you're calling to at the core of your dna it's not that thing you think you're called to in terms of your function as an apostle and evangelist or prophet at the core of your dna god is calling you as an intercessor it's there's no two ways about this i'm gonna shout this loud and clear you are an intercessor and you better capture the essence of intercession as a pastor as a as an evangelist as a prophet in fact you know i wrote this statement down today i'm not today yesterday and i read it to my wife and she's like who's james i'm going to read it out to you right now he says woe to you pastor if you're quick to teach but slow to pray woe to you evangelist if you're eager to preach the gospel without a heart of intercession for the people you're called to preach to and woe to your prophet if you're quick to prophesy while despising or refusing to carry the burdens of the lord in intercessory prayer for you love to appear before man displaying your giftings and your talents while failing to realize that the greatest platform you would ever have is the secret place before the lord and there you have failed to appear the biggest platform you would ever have pastor the biggest platform you ever have evangelist the biggest platform you ever have apostle and prophet is the secret place before the lord and many of you have failed to appear there but you're quick to appear on the platform and give a word and bless this person and travel to this platform and have this channel and you have all these live streams of all these hours of things going on but there is not much debt because you have not been before the lord and this is anyone hearing me today because i want to get up this chair and run around probably carry this to my head like can anybody hear me out there god is calling our intercessors to arise don't count yourself out and don't think you're not it you are it in your weaknesses what did romans say we in our weaknesses we need to acknowledge that we don't even know how to do this but he helps us in our weakness he's strong when we admit we are weak when we are weak then we are strong yes because he is the one that enables us it helps us in our weakness and so god is calling us to arise and take our post on the wall as intercessors that will truly birth the move of god the church has deviated so much from what god has called her to be in these days and god is wanting to return the church to his primary identity and calling we're not going to despise intercession we're not going to relegate you to something in the back room or just for a handful of people i remember you know i was part of i've served in different ministries over the years and sometimes i've had to try to teach people i've served with say hey i am not called to just do your intercession for you i'm called to help yes i might do a lot more praying because of my responsibility my role however you're also called to intercede don't just leave me in the prayer room to do all the praying while we just want to send out all our prayer requests to james and gentiles are praying for you and many of you you send us your prayer request there's nothing wrong with sending prayer requests but you better make sure you know how to pray for yourself you better make sure you know how to cry out to god because i'm telling you that is critical you've been able to do this has to be at the core at the foundation of everything you do for god everything you are you have to know how to engage with his heart it's a dangerous place you can step into when you start to want to just serve god in activities without first carrying his burden in the sacred place and in the sacred places where he reveals things to his friends he shows his friends things and if you don't wait with him he is not going to be giving you his burdens the things that mean a lot to god he's not just going to give it to someone that doesn't value it that well that much okay so having said all that about the role of intercession let's now touch on watchmen here's the definition of a watchman and i want to write this down because i believe this will bring context for many of you a watchman is an intercessor that has been assigned a jurisdiction a watchman is an intercessor that has been assigned a watchmaker a watchman is an intercessor that has been assigned a jurisdiction and the dna of every true watchman is an intercessor there is no disconnection between the watchman and the interstate i'm going to show you this in script in a few moments okay in case you're like no no james no no no to be a watchman you're called as it says to watch to see what are you watching you're watching in the realm of the spirit ezekiel tells us about the warnings that the watchmen release and that is true watchmen are called to see what the enemy is doing and release warnings but watchmen are called to do more than that not just see what the enemies say they're also called to see what god is doing okay so watchmen are not just called to see on the dark side they're also going to see what heaven is doing they're called to respond to the move of god and i'm going to show you some scriptures here right now if you're an intercessor or if you've been praying or seeking god any less than you know this scripture i'm about to read right now isaiah 62. i have set watch man on your walls oh do you remember what i said a watchman is an intercessor that has been given a jurisdiction now there are different dimensions of watching okay and we're gonna probably break this down in a few moments okay so i'm not gonna teach on the prophetic ministry here however you probably would know that we believe in prophets we believe in the prophet we believe in the apostles and the prophet we don't believe that's gone some people think that's not happening anymore and god's done the opposite no we believe in the fivefold ministry manifesting on earth right now now we believe every believer is called to prophesy and move in the gifts of prophecy but not every believer is a prophet yeah so that is something that is very true in the same way they're different levels of watching when we talk about watchmen in the context of isaiah 62 these type of watchmen they are appointed by god and they're giving a jurisdiction a space where they watch over and you're reading ezekiel says i have appointed you a watchman over israel so you see that watchmen have a space where they are watching in the spirit realm to see the spiritual traffic that's going on and respond accordingly if it's a warning they release the warning but it's more than just oneness and i can show you through scripture different expressions of watch of that watchman anointing when we say watchmen it's not like a sexist thing that's just for men and not for me it's the same way we talk about the sons of god you know i say women are the sons of god and men are the bride of christ it's not concepts that's kind of sexist it just describes a posture it describes a function in the realm of the spirit and so watchmen are intercessors that have been assigned a jurisdiction as i said 62 says i have set watch men on your wall all jerusalem jurisdiction jerusalem i have set what god put them there appointed them watch man jerusalem okay they shall never hold their peace day or night okay let's just break that down who is god talking about here he's talking about the watchmen he said these watchmen they will not hold their peace day or night question what are they doing when they don't hold their peace day all night guess what they are praying they are praying how do i know they're praying look at what's exactly you who make mention to the lord do not keep silence verse 7 and give him no rest until he establishes until he makes jerusalem a praise on earth remember matthew 6 your kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is heaven but these watchmen have been given the jurisdiction of jerusalem and so they are watching in the spirit but not just watching they are praying as well oh guess what you know this is like a higher level of watching so these are watchmen and oftentimes watchmen are prophets okay because see this this is all kind of overlapping and interlinked watchmen are often prophets because they function in a high capacity over they have a spiritual capacity to steal word things over regions and so you have to be appointed by the lord so these watchmen are appointed and they're not just there to watch and just look and talk they let you watch and pray and now we go to the lower level of watching not that is an insignificant level of watching but every believer is called to watch not every believer is necessarily a watch man in the context i've just written as i 62 watching over a region but every believers cause what did jesus anyone remember what jesus said you know your bibles jesus says watch emperor in fact let me just find that scripture right here okay you don't think i'm making this up do you i'm not keeping track of your comments by the way so i'm sure there's someone out there listening to this okay i've not got here for some reason i know i'm going to quote it jesus says can you not watch can you not tarry with me one hour and then jesus then says watch and pray lest you enter into temptation that is that that is the level of watching every single believer is called to so you might be watching this and might think well i'm not a watchman like seeing visions for the nation and you know release saying one is what god you may not be functioning on that level just like you call the prophet saying you're not a prophet you're called to watch but you may not be a watchman in that position of oversight inside right and foresight you may not be in that place but you're called to watch on a lower level i don't mean a low level to despise it in a sense just to try to talk when i say lola i mean in terms of the the level of its influence now your when jesus says watch and pray he's actually talking about your life he was saying that to disciples watch in the spirit so as a believer you're called to observe the spirit realm when you pray in tongues in the morning of the night you're looking saying lord what's going on what are the things the enemy might want to release over my life one of the true signs you're doing your job properly as a watchman is revelation i'm gonna say that again one of the true signs that you are doing your job as a watchman is revelations i believe it's jeremiah 3 33 or somewhere there he says jeremiah 33 3 somewhere around that he says call unto me and i will show you great and mighty things you do not know so what you're what what the scriptures are saying that is forgive me if i got the reference wrong but i'm quoting the right scripture call unto me and i will show you great and mighty things no no the calling unto the lord is a form of intercession you're calling you're crying out to the lord right and so if you're functioning as a watcher let's just call your watcher when you watch and pray unless you fall in temptation and you're calling to the lord as you're doing that guess what the bible says he will show you so when you're watching effectively the second legal consequence or proof that you're watching effectively it's revelation from god about what you're watching over question have you observed your family from the spirit realm do you know what your bloodline and your family looks like from the spirit room if you don't know then guess what you have not been watching over your family that's why you don't know because when you're watching in the spirit realm you'll be able to receive revelation about your family some of you watching right now going through significant issues all because you have no revelation about what's really gonna and you lack that revelation because you have not been watching the spirit and you want to watch in the spirit because you've been trying to outsource that to somebody else wanting them to lay hands on you and pray you out of your mess when god wants you to get out of that mess through your own prayer life being awakened because your prayer life has been dead and you've not been seeking god for yourself and wanting other people to seek out for you but god is like i want you to mature therefore you have to call unto me and then i'm gonna show you greater mighty things you do not know about your family and then you're gonna see the keys of revelations to lock your family from the bondage they've been someone is watching right now and your husband has been bound your husband has been struck with addictions i don't know if they're saved or not but can you say abundant over your husband you listen god wants you to watch watch watch in the spirit you're looking you're calling to him your heart is open and you're waiting for what he'll say as you begin to watch over him guess what he starts he starts to give you revelation about the things binding your husband and then with that revelation guess what you go to war and when you walk with revelation you're unstoppable in the realm of the spirit warrior revelation is not just repeating someone else's prayer when you receive that revelation it comes of impartation and it comes with authority and you can override the works of darkness because revelation is a release of mysteries from heaven there are mysteries that are hindering your phone the fullness of your manifestation in god i am getting excited in this place i almost want to run around in this room right now there are mysteries that are tied up about your family okay you call yourself a watchman okay now we're talking about that's low level watching watch and pray unless you're falling into by the way jesus says watch and pray lest you fall into temptation so he didn't say watch and pray so that you would avoid temptation he said watch him unless you fall so temptation is coming people temptation is coming and if you think you can be so holy temptation will not come you're deceived temptation come however when you're watching when you're praying you're prepared for the day of temptation the day of battle so when that temptation comes because you've been watching you're ready for armed to overcome in that's in that circumstance so that's watching at that level watching over your family maybe you're you're dealing with some complex situations don't just rush to find someone to pray now don't get me wrong get people to pray however god is in the business of maturing the saints so if you've been praying over something that you've not seen not to break through in and lots of prophets and people have come and prayed and break doesn't happen i want to announce to you god is wanting you to deal with that thing but you're not going to deal with that thing at this level of spirituality you're at right now it's time to come up higher and you're going to come up higher not by prophesying more you're going to come up higher not by evangelizing more you're going to come up higher in the spirit in prayer in the spirit in waiting on god in the spirit when you come up higher then you begin to see and as you begin to see you can begin to pray you begin to see you begin to pray begin to respond so every believer is called to watch now not every believer is necessarily a watchman and remember i said it watchmen are often prophets there is no such thing as a prophet that's not an intercessor i want to say that strong listen to me if you're prophet and you don't think you're an intercessor you're probably very deceived and don't realize the nature of the calling god's given you every prophet is an intercessor i remember there was a season where going through my wife and i we lead a prayer ministry right here manchester it's been over 10 years we've been doing this so i'm not like someone i just came out started preaching yesterday i've been doing this for many years way before even this ministry started so i've seen a few things okay i've seen people who are annoyed of god called into all kinds of ministry apostolic evangelistic prophetic and sometimes people get swayed away by these callings and they allow that to become their identity oh yeah i am an evangelist yes i know you're evangelist but first and foremost you're a son of god as in the son of the king and you're called to intimacy with him first don't just define yourself oh yeah i'm this i'm this and so everything the way you see yourself is through the through the lens of your function not the lens of your identity in intimacy with god it's a dangerous place when the way you define and see yourself all through this activity for god as opposed to who you are with god when all those things are gone because god sees you more than those gifted he's actually after your heart and so we've been doing this long enough and i've seen people almost take on such an identity of a certain office or whatever it gets upon where it can become like an obsession and it takes them off track and they're just obsessed about hey i'm this i'm this and this but they've not been rooted with god such that if god we're not going to allow you to evangelize or allow you to prophesy for another day in your life would you lose who you are or do you feel like would you feel like would you will you step into a crisis moment if god is like no more there's no more there's nobody and i'm calling you to myself are you like well god will never do that really have you read about anna in scripture you need to read your bible you know anna was also a watcher but she was not a watcher that was releasing warnings see she was watching over the word of the lord see this is another dimension of watching she was watching over the promise and for decades you know what the bible says she served the lord in the temple with fastings and prayer so she was locked away fasting people probably didn't know her but she's also called a prophetess there's a mighty woman of god locked away faster than praying but she was serving the purposes of god why is she mentioned in scripture for many of you who would identify with that calling because they're different expressions of that prophetic anointing we cannot all fit in the same box and look the same and talk the same this is not a cult you know god is wanting diversity anna was locked away praying and fasting and people did not really know what she was doing but she was contributing to the agenda of god in that generation because of the present fasting she she prepared the way for the manifestation of jesus so her fascinating prayer was actually having such a huge impact she had to be mentioned in scripture she was watching over the word of the lord and what the promises of god in prayer what she did in all those decades in the temple mind you she didn't pray in tongues because as far as i know they didn't bring tons of old testament right how is she praying for decades because she was possessed by the word of the lord to be an effective intercessor you have to be possessed by what god has said she was probably in the temple crying out to god saying lord you said the messiah was coming i don't know how she prayed but she prayed and she fasted and she served the lord oftentimes in this generation we want to fast for husbands we want to fast for wives we want to fast for cars we want to fast for money when was the last time you fasted to serve the purpose of god in your generation lord i'm not fasting for a house i'm not fasting for unknowns i just want to fast so i can serve what you're doing in manchester i want to fast and pray so i can serve right now what you're doing in london i want to fast and praise i can serve what you're doing in the united kingdom do you think god doesn't value that because you're not on a platform preaching and prophesying over here no no god values that greatly and do not underestimate the impact of those close-up prophetic intercessory watchmen voices that may not be on platforms but they're shaking things in the heavens i'm telling you right now i would rather be famous in heaven than famous on the earth i'd rather be a voice in the heaven than a celebrity on the earth that has all the nice words but not shaking anything because i've actually been before the lord on the biggest platform in the secret place and contended with his heart and oftentimes you know last week i spoke about the two anointings the inward and the one that comes upon you and when you get those two mixed up you get carried away with a function and miss the one that gave the function or the assignment so you can just run over here do all these activities everything looks good to everyone else watching but heaven is shaking its head you're like oh no this is sad i'm telling you don't lose the foundation these are foundational things i'm talking about right now god has called you as an intercessor and you may be called as a watchman god appoints you he appoint he appointed ezekiel he appointed jeremiah he appointed moses he he appoints you don't just appoint yourself to say he appointed he he it comes by burden you're going to find that as you begin to pray you begin to fear in a certain direction maybe when you begin to pray all you begin to receive more of is about your church and things going on in your church and you begin to see more in the spirit about how things are attacking your pastor and how things are attacking the leadership and guess what perhaps god is calling you as a watchman over your church you don't just call there just to you know uh just to talk yes watch men warn absolutely true but watchmen primarily are called to intercession they pray and from that place they receive the hand of god about the very thing they're wanting to see change or the thing they're trying to bring warning to okay and so this is so critical we understand this all right all right all right all right now let me see i'm gonna start rounding up shortly gosh i've lost track of time okay okay okay okay we're doing okay we're doing okay right here every believer is called to watch but not necessarily every believer is a watchman over a nation the fivefold ministry the pastor the teacher the evangelist the prophet they're all called to watch you know i get that from hebrews 13 7. obey those who rule over you if you read the context obey those who have spiritual authority over you that could be a prophet that could be an apostle that could be a pastor if you're part of a local congregation the bible says obey those who have spiritual authority over you now look at this and be submissive for they watch out for your souls and as those who must give account let them do so with joy and not grief for that would be unprofitable for you again we're seeing here that those who are called to govern the church are called to watch over people they call to govern so you're not just called to be a pastor that just preaches or teaches you're called to pray for the people you're leading you're not just called to be an apostle that's here there and everywhere planting this and doing these amazing things you're called to fundamentally submit yourself in intercession and prayer to the lord and your activity has to come from the place of insane you know it's got to be a prophet that prophesied or a watcher that's seen all this vision and seeing what the enemy is doing you're called to be rooted in the place of intercession in the place of prayer because there you're going to watch effectively and you're not just going to watch you're also going to pray see you see often watch and pray go together as i 62 watch men and they pray jesus says you watch and you pray even ezekiel even though we read ezekiel 33 and he is saying to release that warning ezekiel was the one that broke the scriptures about intercessors about the repairing of the edge about searching what's that scripture now ezekiel let's see if i can find that quickly uh where he says uh something about you know repairing their broken hedge you know yes ezekiel 33 4 7 it says so you son of man i've made you a watchman october that's not it that's not it oh yeah ezekiel 22 30. so i suffer a man among them who would make a wall and stand in the gap before me on behalf of the land that i should not destroy it but i found no do you know where that's found in the book of ezekiel so ezekiel evenly was giving warnings actually he also understood the concept of a watchman that was able to pray and stand in the gap there's another scripture here um oh this is actually a strong one from jeremiah 27 18. so this is talking about the prophetic ministry and the prayer and it's just a passing comment however it's actually an insightful comment uh in the book of jeremiah 27 18. he says but if they are prophets and if the word of the lord is with them let them now make intercession to the lord of hosts that the vessels which are left in the house of the lord in the house of the king of judah and now jerusalem do not go to babylon so what what the prophet was saying there is look if those people over there are called to be prophet let them now make a decision and we're going to know that their true prophet if their intercession yield results so it was like the test of the troopers like can they really intercede and so you cannot separate the two and it's a danger it's a dangerous place for us to be we've decided to separate the two i heard james gold say this it says seers are prophets i'll say seers are often prophets mostly tens of prophets but not all prophets are seers so that was like almost like a bit of an insightful statement that then led me to a statement i made earlier saying actually i've not made this statement but it's important statement to make watch men are intercessors this is key but not all intercessors are watchmen let me just repeat all that again seers are often prophets but not all prophets are seers okay do you track with me there now watch men are intercessors but not all intercessors are watchmen not all intercessors are called to necessarily watch over a nation a region you know as such however they're called to intercede now true intercessors are prophetic they may not be prophets but they have to be prophetic if they're really engaged in intercession because as they engage in this session god brings revelation right so watchmen are intercessors but not all intercessors are watchmen okay i'm going to start to bring this to a close right now let me see some of your comments on there oh someone is saying i understand why i see certain things right now yes when you start to notice that god shows you things you see things before they happen you start to notice patterns start to see things in the spirit and they happen perhaps god is showing you that you're actually called to see you're like a watcher you're able to see things in the spirit and you need to start to pray and respond to that say okay lord what do i do with this how do i what do you want me to do with this before i i would say i'm just saying how i'll function i don't see myself as a seer i don't think i'm a seer anyway i'm definitely not here okay if i were to be seeing stuff like i know some seers around me who see stuff in the spirit when the first things i've been doing we're taking that to prayer lord how do you want me to respond and the lord might be like okay pray and make a warning then you go and you do that you don't just see something just act out of that no no you have to be led by the spirit because you could be seeing things and interpreting it wrong it's one thing to see is another thing to understand what you're seeing and lots of people have been hurt by prophetic people or prophets even that have seen things but have not had the wisdom to decode what they've seen in the spirit and they've spoken it out of a lack of wisdom and it brought her and painted a lot of people because they've misunderstood it or maybe you misunderstood a dream and it's now impacting people in a negative way because you never pressed him for the revelation of what he meant so it's one thing to see is that means to have revelation and insight about what you're saying and then pray through don't be so quick to speak be more quick to pray and let go do the leading see these days they're so much you know people want to just release the word and want to i don't know what it is maybe you want to be seen and on the platform or whatever it is and so they're eager for the platform and god is not so much eager to give you that platform because it doesn't it doesn't even trust you with it the same anointing you're wanting all that great stuff you want it will destroy you if you've not been prepared properly for it and we've seen it over and over again to destroy people in the body of christ because they have not been they're not stealing at a place of the dealings of the lord if their nature and character and all that stuff and so the very thing that is blessing other people ends up leading them to a place where their character can keep them and they end up being destroyed for all sorts of reasons and so god is after developing the inner you so don't be so quick to grab a microphone if god isn't giving you that microphone all right all right all right we're gonna round up i keep saying that and then i keep going on let me see some of your comments on here okay all right all right god bless you guys thank you so much for joining us tonight i hope this has been a real uh blessing insightful uh teaching for you today oh yes i was gonna share something i never got to share it i got i got carried away um this actually i think i'll finish with this vision that uh the lord gave my wife some years ago now uh which i believe is a true vision from the lord and in this vision this spirit i think will in a similar circumstance you know earlier when i was talking about how i've seen people over the years that they start out right but they can't deviate they almost take a tangent because they start to identify with the function and they want to be called the name and you know their identity is wrapped up in this thing as opposed to in the lord himself and you know we've seen that often and so in one of those seasons my wife saw this vision of this uh a spirit that was posing as the spirit of prophecy but this spirit it had waste up was a human and waste down was just rocks this spirit that was possibly a spirit of prophecy was now speaking to the next generation a younger prophet person there and this spirit you see this is why i'm i said small things i said really strong because listen to what this spirit said to the young prophet in in the vision says the prophet you are a prophet not an intercessor and in the vision a sword came out from this spirit and chopped off the legs of the young prophet and right there the voice of the lord came to my wife in the vision and says my prophets our intercessors if the prophets do not intercede or do not see intercession as their primary identity in terms of their dna the prophets have no legs to run on if they do not intercede because the prophet has to have the legs intercession is like the legs of the prophet and the lord said to my from his vision my prophets are intercessors and then the lord took it through the whole of scripture well i don't know if the whole scripture definitely took us through a scripture showing how all the major prophets all through scripture were great men of intercessors and how all the five-fold ministry are intercessors and i showed you that briefly in hebrews where it says they watch over your soul so they're actually people that call to intercede and see in the spirit and so if you're a pastor you're evangelist you're prophet you're called to watch in the spirit so don't believe that you're not an intercessor i'm going to say that one more time as i wrap this up you are an intercessor arise woman of god arise man of god you might feel weak but guess what in your weakness he is gonna be strong as you come before him in all your weakness say lord empower me lord help me i'm gonna read to you this statement i already already in this preach but it struck me so hard i wrote it down yesterday i'm going to read it again because i know many of you watching are apostles prophets evangelists pastors teachers and this one i'm about to say is really strong and i don't apologize for it because i believe the lord wants you to hear it like this woe to you pastor if you're quick to teach and slow to pray woe to you evangelist if you're eager to preach the gospel without a heart of intercession for the people you're called to preach to and woe to you prophet if you're quick to prophesy while despising or refusing to carry the burdens of the lord in intercessory prayer four you love to appear before men displaying your giftings and your talents while failing to realize the biggest platform you would ever have is the secret place before the lord and there you failed to appear let's pray father in this season while you're raising up watchmen while you're raising up watchmen intercessors while you're raising up prophets while you're raising up evangelists and apostles lord we don't want to miss what you are doing we say father whatever it is you're doing however you want to move here we are god use us for your glory we want you and so father raises up to be a voice of voices of intercession and prayer raise us to watch over our families raise us to watch in whatever context you call us to and lord if you want to appoint us as watchmen over regions we say yes to that father we want to stand our watch and pray but also release those warnings when you want us to release those wonders however you want to work in and through us we say yes to you father teach us to pray we can't do this in our strength it's not my power it's not by might but it's by your spirit so holy spirit we lean on you right now have your way in us in jesus name amen amen amen wow wow i want to say thank you thank you thank you thank you for joining us today i've not
