we'll go live to UCLA on the campus there police are moving uh these protesters out there's an encampment there are student protesters we believe um there also may be outside agitators and I'll put that in quotes um but we'll uh monitor this and see how it unfolds but they are apparently trying to break up the encampment which I believe was negotiations for several days now this is happening at campuses across the country um this one's a little bit larger a little bit more like Colombia was before they dispersed it um so we will monitor this situation and come back to it asny what are your thoughts as I'm watching this there's two thoughts that come to my head first of all I'd like to know where their parents are you know we haven't talked about parents who these parents are wait wait wait hold on can we back up first and ask who these people are cuz there are a lot of these people who students they are not students and by the way I I when people email me I try to read as many emails as I can and I swear to God the theme of so many are Joe these are students I believe the children are the future teach them well and I'm like and I right back and say thank you so much for watching the show you mean the world to me these are not all students this is organized it's across the nation and by the way we all have students we all know students we have all talked to our students that are are these these are not all students they're not o they outs I also want to put this against the backdrop of the vote yesterday on anti-Semitism in Congress that it was 320 a and 91 people voted against a simple Bill to protect against anti-Semitism and what's interesting that's about one in four the same numbers that Jonathan greenel ADL have come out and said that one in four Americans have anti-semitic beliefs so Congress is very representative of Americans right uh yeah ref but I think that what is very very alarming to me who's been involved in civil rights and civil dis and by the way you walked the walk you talk the talk I remember in 2001 vus and Puerto Rico something that you believed in it was civil disobedience in the greatest tradition of Martin Luther King and yes you broke the law to make make a bigger point you got sent to jail and guess what you weren't saying I want my meal plan I want my you said this is worth the fight this is worth the sacrifice and guess what you and others who protested you changed American policy we we were protesting the Navy bombing in vles and we were able to stop it I I did 90 days in jail you came out by the way you came out thinner to my the beginning no I went on the F but but that is what bother anytime what you are protesting for right becomes secondary to what you are doing then you're really not protesting for it and and and you in many ways dramatized what we did in V Acres what I did later in other situations was to bring attention to a cause not become the Cause right and what is troubling me about a lot of this is they become the cause about them it is not about pushing the cause they need to ask themselves if they were sincere right are you really focusing on what's going on in Gaza about the children about the women about the innocent people and in Israel are you focusing on whether or not you're violent or whether or not uh you can say the most incendiary statement how are you guiding this it's about them and I think they they've lost the message and I think that because they've been infiltrated by people that are not there that is what I'm worried about well and that is that's that's what we're all worried about and and Jen you you you you look at these protests and again from I'll just call it reporting uh on on a lot of these demonstrations um yeah they're Palestinians whose families have been killed in Gaza or whose families have been killed through the years and we we all certainly understand uh why they would want to be engaged uh there are a lot of people that are just there they are I know this you can email me if you want to I know this that are just there because they want to be part of something cool there are outside agitators and yes there are some people are there because they hate Jews I'd like to I'd like to I'd like to say that's not the case there's some people there because they hate Jews that weren't there because of Syria they certainly weren't there uh when when Russia kept killing civilians in Ukraine they certain I haven't seen them out there for the 2 million weers who are in concentration camps in China and people go oh well we're funding Israel yeah guess what when when you go and and you you you you you buy gas you you know you're directly or indirectly helping Russia you're indirectly or directly helping Iran you're you know you're you're when we trade and buy cheap products from China you're helping China repress not only people in Hong Kong you're helping China repress the ERS etc etc we could we could go down that that path if you want and so they're just again these people weren't here when half a million Arabs were killed in Syria they're here now though why the um you know because Jews are involved but go ahead well yeah the um in terms of it not being students you know people really seem to question that but the student leader from Columbia was in the New York Times saying this is an autonomous group that took over the hall right this is so it it's not as if we are projecting that these are not students like the student leader said it is an autonomous group that that did that and I think the the reporting that sort of helped put this in perspective Jeremy Peters wrote a good pach yesterday about because he went and interviewed a lot of protesters and there are you know we all have in our own lives you know all of us are concerned about Gods we all have our own lives all the people that we know that are really concerned about gods and it's very uh it's very sincere and it's very tragic um but what he identified was that these people had a lot you know it was it was uh upset about how indigenous people are treated in general it said about climate change it was kind of this you know um sort of New World Clash of um of um ideologies that are that are that they were expressing there um that won't be limited to this issue right so even if you know this is what I'm thinking about like how does this affect the election where does this go to even if the Gaza conflict is resolved you are likely to see you know this they may just move on to the next issue which is sort of also you know which is sort of also your your point and that they will but the thing that I I'm processing well where does this go how does this affect young people RIT large yeah I don't see young people RIT large getting behind that kind of agenda it's not going to it's not going to it's not going to resonate in their lives the way concerns about inflation economy student loans student debt things like that I don't think that that will resonate the way um but you know like this is great for Donald Trump great he he loves this so we're looking at what's happening right now on the campus of UCLA and you can see the police are working to try and disperse this encampment and even break it down but just looking at Washington Post coverage uh right now live coverage of things that are happening across the country we have uh a situation at the City University of New York where arrests happened University of Buffalo Stony Brook University UCLA of course 90 arrests on the campus of Dartmouth uh and a state department somebody who quit the state department supports the protests has uh canel his appearance there um and it goes on I mean this is not just UCLA and Colombia uh Portland State the library looks destroyed from the pictures I'm looking here at the Washington Post and it goes on and on so right now um I think it's fair to say that we don't really know exactly how many students and outside agitators are involved and who the outside agitators even are but it is questionable to believe that it would just be students in there doing this if it is then your question then then your your point that you were about to make Donnie is 100% correct and we've got a problem um I would like to go to Jonathan lamir if possible um I just want to follow up though again based on the student leader at Colombia we don't have to ask if those were students in charge of taking over the building because the student leader at Colombia said they were outside agitators an autonomous group that's all the tents were the same colors at a lot of these there money coming in behind this and the students are not paying for this that's my instinct I don't feel comfortable about this I think we need to also bring up the violence the vandalism when you go into the Colombia Hall where they had destroyed property what is that about what is the point of that that's not how's that going to help how's that going to help the people of Gaza well no but you you're supposed to be protesting in and in my opinion rightfully so violence being Reckless on either side you're going to do violence yourself to a building that's where I as one who engages now I'm lead marches now about de and I'm looking at this saying wait a minute you're tearing up walls in the name of what children and G no there's some other element in here that is hijacking this from I I don't disagree I I got to say you you'd ask what parents were were saying about this I mean for for parents whose children are and they're children by the way it's there's some adults I you know but I say this cuz we've got kids obviously of of college age um I mean I just obviously there are many that are distressed I'm sure many are concerned about their safety I I I certainly hope the students scout out and they're doing it peacefully right now uh but Richard this is um I I I tried to explain this a couple days ago maybe I wasn't eloquent enough um but I can tell you my family not saying the Vietnam War was a just War it was not a just War but I can tell you the riots on college campuses I can the riots at the Chicago convention in ' 68 um all of those things moved my family from being Democrats their entire life to being Republicans I remember I was young and I remember my parents asking what in the world is going on in this country and of course you know they were raised in the Great Depression and Rural Georgia kind of hard for them to hear Rich Kids on Campus of Harvard or taking over uh campuses of Columbia by if you're offended by this please I'm trying to help you I don't want Donald Trump to get elected all right go trying to help you if you're too stupid to figure that out you change to another Channel because we're sorting through this as a country and this is not helping this is not helping the people of Gaza and this is not helping uh those of us who want to fight fascism in America but but Richard you you remember 68 it was a tidal wave there's a reason that Reagan won with a lot of young voters in 1980 there's a reason the Reagan Revolution took place the seeds were planted in 1968 and again when I say that I'm not saying that the Vietnam War wasn't an unjust War it was I'm saying their ways as the Rev has proven he improved in vus as as Martin Luther King has proven as others have proven there ways to do this that helps the cause without hurting wi without aiding the worst elements in American politics so a couple of thoughts you know when the democracies uh crumble it's when they lose control of currencies inflation gets out of control people lose all their savings we've seen that historically in vimar and other places well when you see scenes like this and if you give people a choice and they they say well I may be uncomfortable with some of the politics of some SIDS but we need physical safety we need order this this is seen as a real threat to democracy this is in many way I think school authorities who have lost control of their campuses they didn't set clear rules they weren't prepared to back them up so now you've got to take back the campuses they never should have lost them in the first by the way let's go to the split screen of the riots going on in Florida oh wait there are no rights going on at the University of Florida because the president said we don't run a daycare center here right if you want to protest this we respect your right to protest but we're not going to let you break the law and Destroy buildings right right first of all free speech is not an absolute and it's not the only right on a campus there's got to be balanced against other rights against you know against obligations one last thing these are educational institutions so they ought to be thinking one about their failure to maintain order and protect the rights of everybody what about one other thing how about educating how you said before this isn't helping this the young people in Gaza you know where is the teachin here why at least in Vietnam we had some teachings in ' 68 why isn't Colombia why isn't why aren't these places basically saying here's an opportunity to educate not just by the way about the policy flaw of this Israeli government what about the history of the peace process what about the times the Palestinians kicked away chances of Peace what about the nature of hamas's rule in Gaza all these people the gays for Gaza how good do they think it would be for them under Hamas this is a chance to have teachings to get people smarter more sophisticated ated more balanced about what's going on because there's blame to spread around but I don't see universi stepping here the teachings these protesters are going to hand the election to Donald Trump yeah we are going to have fascism as a result of these protesters Joe Biden you need to step up right now what exactly though is he supposed to do I mean these need to be I I certainly come out call it out call it out and call it what it is know what it is this these are people that are breaking the law that's correct protest peacefully learn about the situation I'm telling you from from from I will say I just say from my reporting an overwhelming majority of the students that have been involved get their news from Tick Tock they have no idea what happened in 2000 at Oslo they have no idea that the Palestinians were offered 97% of the West Bank and they were going to compensated the other 3% they have no idea that there was a right to passage from Gaza over to the West Bank they had no idea the deal that Bill Clinton was able to pull together between Israel and Palestine then yaser Arafat passed on it why I said it in real time because he knew Hamas would kill him he would end up just like Sadat they have no idea about this they have no idea if they did they would understand just how dangerous Benjamin Netanyahu was to the peace process they would understand how he had an alliance with Hamas he had an alliance with humas because the one thing that Hamas and Benjamin Netanyahu had in common is they saw peace they saw a two-state solution as a threat to their very existence it's just before 400 a.m. on the West Coast and we're following the breaking news out of Los Angeles where police are breaking down barricades at UCLA pulling apart plywood and other materials that Gaza War protesters used to build an encampment on campus moments ago police detained multiple demonstrators after breaching the encampment this comes as protests surrounding the war in Gaza have ended upended Campus Life across the country um this by the way happened only after hours of police attempting to disperse this encampment peacefully they told through loudspeakers the protesters would be arrested if they did not disperse they are doing this now because the protesters gave them no other choice they would not leave and in fact the protesters threw things at law enforcement and screamed at them that they were not leaving and they are not afraid joining us now nypd's chief of Patrol John Chell he's had uh his share of this uh across the country uh in New York City on the campus of Columbia and Beyond Chief thanks so much for being with us uh right now um based on the experiences that you and the NYPD have had over the past couple days what's the first thing uh administrators at UCLA should do well the first thing they should not let it get to this point right they should have stood tall like the NYU president did that one day and she took care of it how how what what not she she order she asks to come in right away and take care of it and when we did that they put a barers and we really haven't spoken about any more you since it was a one day one day thing right that was built here what should happen is the President should have said if you don't leave this campus at this point and you are a student you will be expelled if you are a faculty member or staff member you will be fired yeah I guarantee you those kids would leave cuz they don't want their dor material on the corner and have Mom come pick them up the next day right that would be that first thing there's so many so many uh uh students that want to get into these colleges right I'm sure at every College people Miss by a percentage point my kids miss schools by percentage points and I'm I'm sure they sign a wer and say I'll come in and partake as a good student and relish this great school and not partake in this Behavior if it occurred I think that would Happ I will not destroy property talk about we've been we've been weeding about uh and Jen talked about the student leader at Columbia saying those are those are Outsiders we don't know they're autonomous they they those weren't students that took over the building can you tell when you go in who the student is and who the outside agitator is I'm doing this a long time just from eyesight yes you can when you're dressed in all black with a black scarf I'm not sure if that's a chemistry student do we know do we know like on the campus of Columbia of the arrests that were made I mean have we been able to we still filtering through the 282 that came from Columbia and City College cuz that was going on the same night too so we doing two at the same time the last time we at Columbia with the we took off and be 30 35 or outside people and it's it's C there's three things going on this kids protest on campus because they think they protest the right thing those are house rules that's one thing yeah then you got students protesting who are crossing that line into hate speech yeah you should be expelled then you have the outside agitate this Outside Inside radicalization teaching them the one woman I'm not going to mention name is teach them how to barricade themselves how to take out the cameras in Hamilton Hall all these tactics that we had to deal with how they get on Campus number one number two what are they doing there what is their overwatching goal right is it that protest or is it something bigger universally and that's got to go beyond the PD that's what I'm worried about and and the chief and I have been on the other side sides of the barricades for a long time but you know that we are about an issue what is being lost here is what is the cost the kids in Gaza are suffering while we're looking at agitators that have taken the focus off of what it's supposed to be and I mean many of us I'm fighting right now affirmative action Dei joining Kimberly crena tomarrow and right to learn about banning books all of that's lost on guys that want to come in and violently dis and I think one of the reasons that people like you and I have always had a mutual respect even though we might have been on different sides of the barricade is you we were there for a bigger cause not us and these people have made it only about them them Graphics do nothing to help the people in Gaza in fact it hurts them this hurts everybody what is property you're throwing things to the cops what does this have to do with the point yeah the ref say he stands for things he protests properly he does it right and then we respect that we were on the same page but this is this is on this is this are kids on college campuses as a father every time I stepped on a Columbia I'll tell you right now every time I was up there I'm a policeman but my kids just left College I'm like this is this is broken what was the way we raised our kids to a certain point yeah it's not this way so Chief it seems there a common theme Here universal theme in each of these campuses and it has to do with the reluctance of the schools administrators to deal with this verbally initially right away and they very rely did it so when I was up there at Columbia a couple of days ago uh the police were outside L just lying there waiting to be called upon what was the negotiations like if they were negotiations between the police department and Columbia University's president and the Office of the President so we on the phone phone with them two three times a day trying to work through their process but they're not they're not they're not equipped for this and then they're trying to appease different Arenas of their world and chief can can we just say this it's very easy to attack the president if the president is Ben sass at Florida who I think did the right thing he's got professors and others that will support him in education let's just say while I don't understand the images from Columbia or UCLA you know this far better uh and tell my fellow conservative friends that president at Colombia was walking a tight rope because there are faculty members and the faculty Senate that wanted to to to to censor her who were encouraging the elal behavior exactly to your point behind the scenes can you imagine what she was up against yeah different people come out there's money involved right yeah endowment money there's a lot of things at stake here so Isaiah going through that process we just keep asking what do you need from us on the outside are you good do you need this and and they finally put in writing what they wanted not once but twice and she was clear and concise and I'll give colum credit on the day we went in we just asked him I asked him personally to do me favor keep saying negotiating keep downplaying it as we prepare cuz we want to have a little surprise of a little element of surprise when we go in to avoid any type of confrontations and we did that flawlessly our cops the plan worked uh and the plan we think of playing we had a secure perimeter we had five dorms with 2,000 kids in it that we did not want coming out into that campus and getting into a confrontation and I got the president to agree that if any child came out I call them children right with dads any child came out and confronted us they're going to be warned you're going to get expelled and that worked the tents ran into the building then we had the building and that that beautiful building inside destroyed I want to turn to now uh the interview that Donald Trump did with Time Magazine um President Biden actually calls this interview a mandatory read and here's likely why this is how the reporter Eric calesa described his takeaways from his discussions with Trump quote what emerged in two interviews with Trump and conversations with more than a dozen of his oldest advisers and confidence were the outlines of an imperial presidency that would reshape America and its role in the world to carry out a deportation operation designed to remove more than 11 million people from the country Trump told me he would be willing to build migrant detention camps and deploy the US military both out the border and Inland he would let red States monitor women's pregnancies and prosecute those who violate abortion banss he would at monitor women's pregnancies yeah yeah think about that he would at at his personal discretion withhold funds appropriated by Congress according to top advisors he would be willing to fire a US attorney who doesn't carry out his order to prosecute someone breaking with the tradition of independent law enforcement that dates from America's founding he is weighing pardons for every one of his supporters accused of attacking the US capital people people who beat up police officers criminals on January 6 2021 more than 800 of whom have pleaded guilty or have been convicted by a jury he might not come to the aid of an attacked Ally in Europe or Asia if he felt that country wasn't paying enough for its own defense he would get gut the US Civil Service deploy the National Guard to American cities as he sees fit closed the White House pandemic preparedness office and staff is Administration with acolytes who back his false assertion that the 2020 election was stolen Gentle Mary that that summarizes what the stakes of this election are more ruthless more efficient taking away more rights more cruel you know he understands now what he didn't before about who he said he wasn't going to be as nice this time around right he was going to fire people right away if they weren't implementing what he wanted to do and then on a day that the that in Florida that the six we abortion ban takes effect he then goes to Michigan and says that talks about how it took a great deal of wisdom for the Supreme Court of justices calls them out by name great deal of Courage great deal of wisdom to overturn roie white even as he's trying to make it appear as if he has some kind of other you know some kind of different uh view about um about abortion now um and you talked about how people were very happy people were very happy that roie way got overturned on the day that I mean imagine what's going to happen in Florida now as as as doctors and women try to navigate a six week abortion ban the the summarize the stakes of the election is it possible I mean do we have we don't even have the time for for for months now we have been talking about project 2025 and the Trump campaign folks have kind of you know been giving it a long arm stiffing him back and saying no we have our own own stuff that we are working on Project 2025 is actually not what the Trump policies water will be and it is not true Chris all these folks have said that what Donald Trump said in the time in magazine interview and what he's been saying out there in the campaign Trail is exactly what is in the project 2025 Playbook there are four pillars in the Playbook okay one of the pillars is about a Personnel database where folks can literally make their own profile so that uh the Trump folks can go through and take a look at who they are and the people who are advising the 2025 project want the other pillar is a presidential Administration Academy well after they deemed that you were one of our potential people uh that we would give a job to in the government we're going to train you up on how to these are the things that you can do and how to subvert the system to really address and get done what a president Trump would want to do and then the fourth pillar is the Playbook they they literally write it out and so I this is not hyperbole Donald Trump is not just saying you know random things um this is the but this is the plan and folks should be this is the reality this is it Simone Sanders Townson thank you very much we'll be watching the weekend Saturday and Sunday mornings beginning at 8: a.m right here on MSNBC love it the house passed a bipartisan Bill yesterday that would establish a wider definition of anti-semitism amid protests at universities across the country we've been covering some of that live this morning the legislation will give the Department of Education broader powers to crack down on anti-Semitism on college campuses it also requires the department to use the definition of anti-semitism put forward by the international Holocaust remembrance Alliance when enforcing anti-discrimination laws joining us now to talk more about this the former Israeli special Envoy for combating anti-Semitism best-selling author Noah tishby and former NFL linebacker and creator of the anti-racial digital series uncomfortable conversations with the black man bestselling author Emanuel AO the are they are co-authors of the new book perfect timing uncomfortable conversations with a Jew that's the title good to have you both great to be here so so thank you for coming back uh talk about this book talk about uh where it began well it began two years ago uh after writing a un comfortable conversations with a black man I realize very simply put we would all be better as a society if we didn't fight in silos if black people didn't just fight for black people women fighting for women but what if the Jewish Community fought alongside the black community what if the white Community fought alongside the black community rather than fighting against one another what if we identified the common enemy which was hate which was oppression which is marginalization so I actually reached out to Noah prior to October 7th we've been Penning this book for a long time because I wanted to educate myself and she could help helped me do that CU with education I believe comes empathy and Norah said yes oh said yes very quickly so it's very important to actually understand that Emanuel noticed the rise in anti-Semitism specifically from the black community way before a lot of people did and he was like wait a minute I'm a black man I don't want to speak for you in that context but he's like I noticed this when Jewish people noticed this and not when people from outside the community did and he reached out and wanted to be a true Ally which is uh which is what this book is about I love talk about um the unique challenges though the horrific challenges uh that have Arisen uh for for Jews across the world I mean I always remind people there 15 only 15 million Jews in the world for a reason uh and and and and and talk about the rise there and especially among radicals who call Jews white European colonialists when isra was created 3 years after white European colonialists marched six million Jews into ovens yeah I mean look the fact that uh Su in the extreme left were able to Brand Israel a colonial estate is one of the most brilliant Feats in crazy well Crazy Land because literally Israel is a de is is a refugee state which was decolonized from Great Britain so when these people chant today we want 48 we don't want two states we want 48 they're talking about going back to British colonialism I'm not entirely sure and this is to what we've been talking about that anti-zionism is the new form of anti-Semitism this is exactly what we're seeing right now on college campuses so can you tell me though why kids in college can't and I call them kids because I'm an old dude I got kids they're kids but adults how did they get to a point where they started chanting genocidal phrases from The River To The Sea and they don't even know a lot of them don't even know what they're proposing they don't know what they're proposing so the thing about what's happening right now on college campuses it's three things that we have to understand first of all it's obviously not peaceful second it's not Grassroots because it's well coordinated well funded for example the tents all of them have green tents it's very puzzling and the most important thing is that it's not true so the kids that are actually protesting and think that they're doing the best thing for Humanity what happened is that they have been brainwashed by Tik Tok to believe that Zionism necessitates the Gen side of Palestinians they were trained literally brainwashed by Tik Tok to believe that Israel is a colonialist state and that's been happening for decades what do you mean by Tik Tok well me this they're all they're all we know what's happening on Tik Tok in terms of in terms of numbers and what has being pushed on Tik Tok in terms of anti-israel and anti-semitic rhetorics like we actually have the numbers it's insane it's through the roof and by the way by way run rev by the communist Chinese right government who wants to see the division one of the things that interest me about your book uh and I want to address us to Emanuel it is uncomfortable conversations we have to have yeah when I started talking with Rabbi pezner and uh Jonathan Green blad with ADL trying to bring us together and they had to confront me well you were involved with some things that we felt were anti-semitic and I said no I didn't say this but I did allow certain things that I was insensitive to and I think on the other side they had to understand how some felt felt in the black community these kind of candid conversations really uh test the sincerity of both sides of whether we really believe what we say or are we just going to keep taking shots at each other talk about that because there have been tensions and I think some distortions on both sides that we need to put out front because usually the people that are anti-semitic are also an antiblack correct well the first question I had to ask myself is what in the world is anti-Semitism is there a Semite group that you can be anti because if you don't know what anti-Semitism is how can you avoid being anti-semitic and so the very first thing I had to do is say hey Noah what is anti-Semitism and she said it's actually interesting it's both looking down at a Jew and looking up at a Jew assuming that there is some sort of like covert powers that be that are monopolizing and manipulating The World At Large and so I asked her that but then I also asked her the question well are Jews white because in America if you're non-jewish you perceive Jewish people as white and we've simplified things in society rev to black and white we projected our Western ideologies onto thousands of years of Middle Eastern nuance and so if we couple the Jewish Community into the white community and in America there's tension between the black community and the white Community then there has to be tension between the Jewish community and the black community because Jewish people are white and so I really just had to wrestle with noan so many things Jews in power I said no I was drafted to the Cleveland Browns the owner was a Jewish man I was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles the owner was a Jewish man the general manager was a Jewish man I left the NFL my first agent was a Jewish woman I left that agent my next agent was a Jewish man so how can you tell me that I'm anti-semitic not literally but figuratively speaking if I say Jewish people are in power when the titles Joe have been held of owner agent and general manager in my life so we just went there I shouldn't be looking up to Donnie and I said what I said to Emanuel is is the the fact that there are a lot of Jewish people represented in various uh Fields that's there's nothing anti-semitic about that and that is actually true it's when you start talking about power and control that's when you move to anti-Semitism which is why by the way adopting the IRA definition is a brilliant move because it gives you the framework from which you understand what anti-Semitism is to begin with no I'm I'm going to ask you a tough question that simple answer one in four Americans according to the ad uh have anti-semitic beliefs why now and why through our history do people hate Jews that's a great question so first of all uh anti-Semitism is the oldest form of hate and discrimination that is still being practiced today okay so it's never going away and never has gone away why to some extent it's people hate the other people simply hate the other and the Jews have been this unique little group that is particular and Universal at the same time with its own own um tradition and culture and throughout history it's is it's basically the Jews are history's favorites scapegoat why I don't know why but what happened is when any anything goes wrong in society the Bubonic plague it's the Jews Co it's the Jews Financial meltdown it's the Jews right now Israel is the representative of white colonialism the last Bastion of colonialism on Earth down I in law school I remember uh we were going through different uh different legal codes throughout history and I remember reading the Magna Carta which we always think the Magna Carta that's the greatest thing oh my God Magna Cart it's it's the first way time they started to tear power away from the Monopoly and you have all these rights you have the right to do this and this and this unless you're a Jew you have a right to do this and this and this unless you're a Jew you have it is in the mag Carta yeah it's been in Grand and the population and it's been historically no blacks no Jews which is one of the other incredible reasons that we came together because we need to Rift to to recreate the relationship between the black community and the Jewish Community there been a Schism and we just refuse to play along Donnie if I may speak to that as well I believe often times you hate what you do not know you hate what you don't know I think proximity it breeds care distance breeds fear one of my favorite quotes is if we truly took the time to get to know one another you would have no Heroes nor villains because you would actually get to know individuals so we I believe just have to take more time to actually get to know these different individuals stop living in fear because fear is a it's a byproduct of misunderstanding it's a byproduct of a lack of knowledge and really one that's why we pen the book but that's also why we just spend time talking and it's not a fun conversation at at times like it's very authentic it's very out there it's like we're taking putting everything on the table yeah that's so great and the new book is entitled uncomfortable conversations with a Jew Emanuel AO and Noah Tish thank you so much for what you're doing and one of the things we learned we don't have to look up to Donnie anymore that's the takeway take away from this incredibly important convers no it's it's really great what you're
