I jumped on a wall here and today we're doing another first twenty turn legendary difficulty guide for a faction in turnable why Mateusz specifically for mortal Empires so you guys voted and there's a lot more votes in this one than there was in previous ones but you guys did vote for Malekith so that's what we're going to be doing so let's jump in here on legendary difficulty and let's get started on turn one let's start I guess evaluating the faction and start coming up with the plan now the first thing you might want to look at is the sorceress that you start off with look at her trait and see we got so we got intelligent now the traits you get are random so if you don't want this particular trait you can just start it again and re-roll for a different trait the best ones I find are disciplined or knowledgeable preferably disciplined fire sorceresses are in my opinion the best but it's always gonna be a fire sorceress it yet now Malekith does have dark magic but in my opinion should always focus too much on his magic but that's entirely up to you anyway the first thing that we want to do is is trying to rush clan septic if we have a look here we got two enemies hey Grif and clan septic you can take our clan septic really quickly and that would be good because once you've done that you secure your initial province and then you can focus on hey Griff now the province of hey Griff down here this is better that like it's a better settlement but the problem is gonna be a lot more difficult for you to take it since the walled settlement and they've gone army sitting there and it also takes two turns to get down there so in my opinion better off taking our clan septic first so what you want to do is bum-rush them basically get them before they start recruiting like crazy they'll have an army sitting here and it can be a difficult fight but if you position yourself correctly it's not that tough so if we had stood here we could have recruited but you cannot reach their next turn so even though you might get a larger army the AI on legendary difficulty can recruit faster than you you've got to move fast if you want to if you want to do this otherwise you have to go into ambush stands try to lure them out but there's always a chance that your ambushes fail and they'll and end up ambushing you so anyway that's the way in terms of our movements there and then want to upgrade Negron that's all we have to do for this turn apartment technology usually prefer to go with the growth one there as for diplomacy there is pretty much nothing you're gonna be able to do at this stage so just don't pull off and let's just move on okay so we know clan septic is in these three settlements right so you don't have to go and search it what we want to do is receives the settlement we know they're there then attach the wizard now wanna launch the attack now you can order resolve this if you oughta resolve it though you will lose a dread spear unit that's entirely up to you if you're not confident taking on this many units just because keep keep something in mind that the Skaven slaves are given basically no weight in order resolve but in manually resolved they actually do a lot better than they should especially on legendary difficulty so keep in mind that this battle here is harder than what this might make us seem to be you also need to keep in mind that you could certainly win this battle it's not as much of a problem but if your army gets beaten to [ __ ] you're gonna take a little while to recover and we've got to keep a momentum going so you can't order resolve this but if you feel really confident that you can take it on manually and take very few casualties that's what we that's what you should do I'm gonna fight it manually and I'll show you the I guess the best spot to to set up in this so this Skaven map here can be a real pain in the ass for the army dish of god it's really not good for missile units and artillery but there's a spot over here that's like a nice high grass a bit of a corner camp but this is the only real good splice business one over there as well where you can get your artillery in a nice position where they're going to be able to fire at pretty much any angle and not be obstructed by your own units or something like that so artillery up the back then the the missile units make sure they're all on guard votes on this one and I put that up front Malekith over here fire was there one dreads beer on the flank and on the other flank you gotta keep in mind that the enemy Army is a lot bigger than ours so the they're gonna try and surround us to some degree you've got to protect your flanks if you just hold one solid line they'll all they're gonna do is go around you you need your units to be able to tank on multiple Skaven troops your troops are better than theirs but they will overwhelm you and if they get to your artillery that's gonna hurt you quite a lot you don't want to really be taking any damage on that so that's what you wanna do there now as for the chariot bring it up here we want to basically use it at the start we want it to be fighting the entire time this is essentially your best unit on the battlefield in this particular battle I'm not the biggest fan of chariots in general but in this particular battle this chariot here is really good and I'll show what's with them just a minute gamble for a little bit more magic but you don't have to if you don't want to depending on what you start off with all right cool all right so what we want to do it's in the chariot up first put them on multi-shot make sure these guys here are really protecting the flanks so our plan here is twofold we go out there do a little bit of damage to them you know straight away because they are outnumbering us but also they're gonna dedicate three or four units to chase after these called one chariots now whilst these guys aren't that fast what you do is you well they're advancing towards us you keep a bunch of them locked down then as the fight progresses over here you wheel about and come back leaving those units behind and crashing into their rear so as much as possible you really want to be cycle charging don't just leave them in combat but they're a little bit slow so it's a bit of a pain in the ass doing this luckily these are just clan rats and escaping slaves I'm doing that much damage and once you get away a little bit it's okay if you micromanage these guys well enough you should be to get two or three hundred kills with them in this battle so yeah once they get away it's fine get enough of a distance and then turn around and charge in then the first few charges that are difficult because as I get thinned out their mass or their ability to to hold you back is reduced so definitely keep an eye on them as this is going on don't focus too much on this this is just a distraction so I'd recommend using Malekith magic on the units but also try get a fireball in on the general didn't do a lot of damage but little counts when I said Malekith to try and duel him alright I done over here stop bringing them back try to be focusing your dark shards on shooting where was the clearest shot I mean the the black out of Negron will be able to beat these guys in melee and all they're doing at the moment is holding the ground it's not going so well over there with her pull her back she should be able to beat this guy in a duel fairly easily even on legendary difficulty but the thing is the other units did some damage too and what you want to be doing with the Kolbe lunch area it's just constantly annoy the enemy units around here you want them constantly routing if they can run off the battlefield even better like I said 200 kills on the cold one chariots and these guys are only just showing up to the battle now so if I can finish him off he's shattered but if I could just do a tiny bit of extra damage to him he might die which make it a lot easier to break the rest of these guys good so Malik has taken a lot of damage but that's basically the end of the battle now because these guys aren't gonna last much longer so probably gonna get a close victory I'd say this one's pretty hard to get a decisive victory on given how badly they outnumber you at the start but it's not that important that you get a decisive victory as long as Malekith get to level up which he should be able to alright there's the army loss penalty and that finishes them off so you don't need to run them down you're gonna get any additional experience for it and they're all gonna die oh we go decisive victory yeah I wasn't expecting that now what you want to do here is second first and then occupy okay so Melek is pretty badly damaged but it's okay we're definitely gonna want route Marsha and we're gonna want to recruit some new units usually go one dread spear two dark shots generally speaking I'm legendary difficulty you want to have a lot more missile units than Mellor units just because of the way the the difficulty buffs work the AI are a lot better in melee then your Mellor units but your missile units will pretty much perform the exact same more or less on all difficulty rating so that means the missile units are quite effective also they do a hell of a lot of damage and you really do need units that are gonna actually kill the enemy as opposed to hold them back you don't need that much of a frontline to to put it to get protect against the AI so do that but then we're going to do something else as well we're going to recruit a general it doesn't matter which one you recruit here so if you can find a trait that you want that's great discipline is good so we'll grab that I'm not the biggest fan of death magic but it's okay okay that's all we need to this turn okay so we've got a little building here that's providing a bit of growth I think I'll leave it for the time being we could repair it but I'm just gonna leave it cuz - money's gonna be quite tight while we're doing this so I'll just leave it be okay now on this turn grab the sorceress of fire and send her to go and scout the altar of ultimate darkness it says it's gonna cost 475 but that's because she thinks it's a ruin but it's actually a Skaven ruin so it's not actually gonna cost us anything and it's gonna give her two levels up allowing you to get to the burning head now you could have scouted the ruin here but if you did that then you wouldn't be able to have attached her in the army and having her just in that there probably allowed us to get the decisive victory as opposed to a close victory just having her just a small amount of balance of power strength in that army since she didn't take that much damage it doesn't matter if isn't fully next thing we want to do you want to stand here with Malekith and recruit some more units this one stands here and go into ambush dance and the reason for this is that there are this is where things could vary between playthroughs now what should happen is that there's an arm a small army here that will force march to alter of ultimate darkness that's what should happen but what might happen is that they'll look at your strength rating it largely depends on how well you did there if you didn't do so well on your army's quite badly damaged they might be like oh why don't we just go attack him now and if they do that you could get ambushed but if you go into ambush stance here you have a chance to actually ambush the ambushes so they're 40% chance so this is where a little bit of the rng comes into play so what this does here it just maximizes your chances to not have a screw up right at the start but if it does screw up you could always just start off the campaign again because he just got seriously unlucky maybe do a bit better job on that battle you know the more you do it the better you'll get but what should happen over this entered this girl force much to alter of ultimate darkness thinking that we're about to attack it and try to defend it that's what should happen all right is there anything else that we need to do don't think so just let that go on this army over here is going to come over here and probably besieged nagrand don't worry about it it's not a big deal alright so within the turn here don't worry about this leave it as leave it damaged it doesn't matter let's move on okay so what happened there went exactly as expected now in preparation for doing these guys guides I actually usually these aren't let's place right I'll go in and I'll try a bunch of different strategies before I start recording and see which one has the most reliable way of basically being it just being able to repeat it constantly and that's what I've got come up with with this but there's always a chance that somebody's gonna post in the comments oh I tried this and it didn't work and that's fine if you try it and it doesn't work keep in mind it's not the guide is wrong there are tiny tiny tiny little minor details sort of like the butterfly effect that you know like I said maybe if you if you took maybe ten percent more casualties in this battle here then the balance of power shifts in their favor and they might make the attack on you so just keep these sort of things in mind if you want them to do exactly what they're doing right now you need to do exactly what I've done up to here we've put them on the defense they're reacting to what we're doing that's what you want them to do all right now we can continue with the plan because everything's going according to plan so far so now we attack altar of ultimate darkness with Malekith we attach the wizard and we bring you over here as well now this battle here you don't have to fight manually if you order resolve it you're not gonna lose any units it's gonna be fine finding it manually or to resolve entirely up to you shall we take some damage but that's okay the hard part of dealing with clan septic is over they're gone so when a sac the city okay so that was actually a little bit unexpected I was expecting them to get wiped out in that order resolved so this is a slight variation that's okay it's okay doesn't matter too much I was planning on occupying it with the wizard but if I just leave the wizard there this one's gonna come down here and be able to retake it so it's gonna take it and then just disband it obviously she's sucking a bit of money but like I said we make a variation so instead I'll actually have Malekith occupier and I'll have her do what I was gonna get Malekith to do which is making preparation to attack recto gorge now we can't recruit anything this turn because the nagger on will come under siege because basically we wanted to try to get rid of clan septic as fast as possible now if we had fought that battle manually these guys here still would have survived that's why I wanted to order resolve it because it should have wiped them out but it didn't that's okay it's probably good that this happened because now this is forcing me to to deal with the worst case scenario and essentially these guides really should be dealing with the worst case scenario but that was unexpected because when I went through it before every time I did it that got wiped out they're not gonna have any forces down here we want to force march down to here Malekith should be able to force march down here to assist when and she just makes the occupy so it should be more or less the same thing the big maybe is this one here so we'll see how things go next turn so if Claire septic gasps apiece dump the [ __ ] off they've they've encamped which isn't ideal because that means they're getting some replenishment but it's a very small amount I mean these are just clan rats here what's the damage done on our garrison here very small garrison but at the same time they're in really bad shape as well so heard Louis is getting low it's okay okay so here's what we're gonna do now she's still gonna go ahead with the plan she's gonna besiege and Malekith is gonna force march down here to assist and once again we don't need to fight this manually for just or to resolve it should be absolutely fine because the province is going to revolt no matter what we do you better off looting and occupying if you say it you probably won't have enough movement to actually occupy at this tone and you need to occupy this day so occupy mainly doing it just for the slaves slaves are good okay then you want to disband her ok Malekith can't get in there which doesn't really matter too much don't get don't get any to get much replenishment but that's ok now the province is secured but the problem here is that at the altar of ultimate darkness they could possibly come and retake it they're still recovering a little bit of damage so what we're going to do in this situation here and this is purely because they didn't get wiped out we're going to have to recruit another general now I'd recommend getting a wizard so let's see what would be the best wizard for dealing with this fire magic is alright cuz well we'll have a little bit of little bit of troops in here alright so we go through the different spells that we can get we can get I was a spirit leech good first snapping the enemy generals especially once already damaged Mel cough mystifying miasma so that's good for taking out enemy units so probably not that helpful for that fire yeah fireball we go with a dread Lord but I'd still recommend magic over it dark magic would give us chill wind don't need that beasts would be now that it wouldn't have anything good for that so yeah we go with a fire wizard I think I'd say it's a fire or death yeah the problem here is that the loyalty is wildly different so try to pick so cuz you just want to disband them as soon as possible if you pick up someone and they have very low loyalty that's gonna be a problem this one here is of death magic and its loyalties between five and ten so this actually recruit her even though I would have preferred Fire Magic this is fine now another thing I don't want to put her inside the settlements okay if they come over here and they win which they might very well do we don't want this person to die because if she loses shall withdraw back to here and what you can do then is for Smosh Malekith back over here retake the settlement and then they're finally gone for good that's not the ideal situation but it's you know we're preparing for the worst-case scenario we're not gonna be able to recruit anything because it's just not gonna get it done in time so that's what we're gonna do if we want to recruit though you know if you lose the battle it won't get done but because we've got the barracks here it can recruit you can attach some extra units of Malekith but money's a little bit tight so I'm gonna hold off on it for now because I feel like what we've got here is enough yeah if these guys here make the attack on Nagaraj you're pretty much guaranteed to win also the rebellion that shows up here is probably going to wreck them anyway if they don't launch the attack so again just chill all right so yeah burning head that's really going to come in handy that's not just a venereal disease alright so we're going to want this we don't really need to worry about the public order right now and that's really go if and when they attack they should attack us about uh settlements if we have a look here yep they'll definitely make the attack we should be able to win that now we can now do some rights let me see here duck if we do duck conduit we're guaranteed to win that'll last those 15 turns now I don't think we need to do that to win so that's entirely up to you I'm gonna go off worst-case scenario and try and do this without it but yeah if you feel not confident about these guys being there pop in the sack rifice takane and if you've sacked or looted those three settlements and this will be activated if you've occupied it then that won't be active so make sure that you sack those settlements that's one of the reasons why we did that sacked or looted because it adds towards two notice being activated then as for the commandments we want to put this down because that'll then allow us to unlock this one here and that is also why we're building the slave pens here because you want to get a a black Ark as soon as possible doesn't matter so much if you don't get it right now but it's fine all right let's move on they actually attacked the wizard over the army here which actually could have meant that they could they could have possibly ambushed us so that was actually lucky that it didn't but since the odds are actually just slightly in our favor we are far better off to just order resolve it and that'll be dealt with them once and for all if everything goes according to plan a turn six you'll get this come in and that'll make you a fair bit of cash all right with clan septic out of the way that means we only have one enemy left to deal with you know at the start here so that that basically solves half of our problems however this problem here is now going to be a little bit more difficult because we weren't there to deal with it but it's okay panic now this person here she's done her job she can now be disbanded so I would say what happened with this was probably kind of the worst case scenario but we actually finished them off pretty much at the same time just by making slight adjustments now if in the case they attack you there and they ambushed you general and you see your room your your garrison doesn't help you out and there's no way you're gonna win it fight the battle manually cast as many spells as possible and when the army lost penalty gets inflicted your general should run away and not die so it should end up running out over here and then if you've done enough damage to them then they'll be able to be beaten just by your garrison hopefully but that being said as well if I had popped down to sacrifice to Cain we could have used dark conduit and very easily gotten rid of all of their infantry no problem even if they had ambushed us so again just keep that in mind so I went a little bit risky but it paid off in the end all right now we've got to get Malekith back over here now thanks to Iraq and octo Gorge we can actually recruit in this province despite the fact that Nagrand is under siege now we don't have a full stack and we not going to be able to recruit if we're in forced march as I said before I'm not really concerned about this at this stage here it largely depends on what these rebels do if these rebels are attack hag grief like I'm expecting them to no problem but if they sit here in raid once they're at full strength then you've got a problem and that's when I'd recommend getting the shrine to Kane so let's see how things go so what we're gonna do here I'm not gonna rush back just gonna go back at a normal pace and we've got plenty of money and because the stuff is super cheap in Malak US army we'll get some more try and get over to full stack now as for the buildings here it might be time to start developing them up a bit we've got some growth now so let's see what we want to use it up on what's probably going to happen in the later parts of the campaign is that these guys here are probably going to declare you now that might mean that these settlements here get blown up so this one here is not quite as valuable so you got to make it you got it depends it largely on luck I suppose if they do declare war on you early you're probably not going to have walls built up here and they're probably going to blow it up so any investments that you put into it are probably going to count for nothing so it just depends you could save up the growth and then we can get Nagrand up to tier 3 that might actually be best so that's what I'm going to do as for the buildings here I'm going to leave this one as it is leave that as it is don't bother repairing get baricza's because you still get full use out of it but I will repair this artisan house here and just let things continue as is now that we've got the edict I want to switch it over to increased slave production quota so that we can get extra growth going in because I now want buy six turns or even five turns but if we get this done to have this cleared out and start building Nagrand up to tier three all right let's keep moving I don't want to force much not yet I don't feel like I have to so they're probably recruiting another army elsewhere if we have a look here we might be able to see no so their army is actually considered as strong as ours to spite the fact that we've got a larger army it's probably due to the fact that she's got a lot of shades honestly not a big deal there when the AI uses it they're not very good when assaulting settlements so again just don't panic we've got 14 units in here if she assaults we can beat them now we need the last two units that we need in this army I would recommend at this stage here we've got six frontline units the rest met our missile basically that's all we only need six for that all right so that's repaired on it so that's good so once we lift this edge we want to destroy it here because I guess the tier 3 and to be honest eventually you want to destroy it there as well and have all of your equipment from black arks that's the best way to handle it so yeah again with the sacrifice again I really do want to drive this I'm gonna try and do this entire guide without utilizing this but if at any point you feel like oh this is overwhelming hit this okay because this will basically give you like a 50% extra chance of winning because it's so goddamn powerful dark conduit is basically like a thing where you just send your unit in and it just blows up a whole bunch of Units it's one of the best abilities in the game so it's basically the don't panic button or maybe even it's the panic button anyway I don't feel like I need to panic I can handle this okay so here's the big the big turn whether or not they're gonna launch the attack on here so we don't want them to attack our army okay also now that we've got a full stack I'm actually gonna demolish this building and replace it with money because we don't have a lot of cash coming in and if I'm not making use of it you know at least I could make some money if I build the artisans house all even maybe better still get some growth but I probably do need the money alright so what I'm gonna do here because I definitely don't want to get caught by this army I'm gonna move into about there 26% of our movement used up and going to ambush dance have you ever look here where we're still in this region here but we'll be able to reach here next to it and they can't see us and we're still replenishing just a little bit now they might launch the attack next hood if they do we'll beat them and then they might proceed to settlement if they do we'll still beat them so I'm pretty sure in this scenario here I don't need to hit the panic button just yet we're good there's another revolt coming in fairly soon and again it's fine part of the reason for it is because well look at all that all that bloody stuff doesn't matter all the caving corruptions going away cuz it got really high and septic and this stuff here it's all repairing over time you could repair it I know some people are very OCD and they're like I don't like looking at damaged buildings that's fine look if you if you want to pair that that's fine but just understand that you're not gonna get a return on investment on that you're gonna get a revolt no matter what so you can repair it if you want but you know it's it's cheaper you just don't get much out of it so I wouldn't so I didn't didn't alright let's keep moving okay so they're launching the attack on mag around okay totally fired I know for a fact we can easily beat this the a I get bonuses in their order resolve and she's also got some really good units that they just won't be able to utilize correctly now what will happen here is we're hundred percent we're gonna win this and then the rebel army is going to procedure afterwards but they weren't assault pretty sure but it's very important that we do a good job on this battle that's critical so let's do this now just as I've said in many other videos don't prioritize holding the walls at all costs it's not worth it bring the artillery down to here this is basically where you want to be having the fight this is not the easiest settlement to defend to probably give it maybe a seven attempted to defend but it's not not super difficult alright so we have to have a look at where their units are we can't see where the shades are but you can assume that they're probably here hard to say because the shades they stalk alright let's see here it's beers in there alright probably don't really want to put anyone over there let's just get everyone off the wall to begin with and right see if I put them here as they come in this way we might not be able to shoot at them we definitely want to have this tower here active though so what I want to do here then instead I'm gonna put two units up here they might have shades in here hard to say and then get a unit of bleak swords and we'll stretch them out over there putting in oblique swords over here stretch them out and a unit oblique swords here I called One Nights just keep them well in reserve they'll do well against shades black garden aggro and keep them there and any reserves keep them here make sure all the missile units are on guard mode just makes it easier and considering they've all got infantry they've got only infantry definitely what that but also don't fire it will right now if you run out of ammunition shooting bad targets that's gonna hurt us the great thing about this situation here is because they got battering rams we can't actually leave them here for one thing we'll rip them to shreds and secondly once they do get in through here they're probably not gonna fight up on the walls anyway they're gonna want to get you know this way okay good their shades are going down alright put this down here stun them right before they get there just gonna slow down their progress to a complete halt even though in early last 11 seconds it's 11 extra seconds we get to shoot before they get in through here don't worry about killing their general you really don't need to general snipe that much in this keep these guys in reserve until the end because you want them to basically be running down in me I'd say at this point here we've guaranteed won the battle okay yeah definitely want to get off the wall but steer away from those shades actually let's try to get the activity and that's too far away we're gonna hit it cold ones deal is attack like I said I don't want to use these guys until the end all right said victory is within our grasp that's excellent ok let's take out the shades with them and there's army lost bouncy now because we didn't sacrifice um at start they'll be able to run down the enemy at a pretty decent rate then they're not the best units and running them down but they're the fastest ones we got because just because we've won here in this battle doesn't mean these guys are out just yet we need to need absolutely recommend they would have been nice if we could have done like completely wiped out the army but honestly that's fine that worked out pretty damn well yeah I'm gonna get some more slaves well that's nice of them they Cathy Malekith there so they don't they're not worried well huh okay I wasn't expecting that so for some reason our rebels went out there to fight okay if if hey if Halliburton wants to deal with it that's that's up to her we can't reach out this way but we can finish this off all right cool so the rebellion is still actually active so if it repels if this if this hits negative 100 again in two turns while the rebellion is still active what will end up happening is all of our buildings will get damaged and their army will just get back to full strength but honestly since our stuff here isn't pretty load here anyway I'm not even concerned for one thing I'm gonna get rid of that so I guess we'll see how they go so over here let's get the money only two turns away until we get the extra growth now Malekith gets on a level up that's good have you ever look at them they've completely lost their army they've lost their momentum I would recommend using these guys as sack cities so what we'll do here will we'll definitely want to go and conquer hate grief and then just plunder the crap out of crag or deep for the foreseeable future we'll see how we go but first thing let's force march down here because we've seen what their strength making is anytime you want to force March what you should definitely do is when you go into the enemy territory check to see what their strengths breaking is that way you know that they've got no army because they could have been recruiting another army over here that whole time now whilst they will get a couple of extra units we're looking at maybe four or five six at the very most alright that'll ensure that we can attack this next turn they've got two tier three which means when we capture it it'll be at tier two you know what I actually think those rebels of mine have just actually disappeared completely we'll find out next turn whether our F whether or not the settlement here gets damaged I think they just went out here and you're wrecked but we didn't get any military crackdown which doesn't matter because this is gonna cost on the reports anyway but now we can push one to hang brief really good settlements oh it would be good if it was higher level but we got to get gonna get moving quite quickly if you want to consolidate everything so definitely be a revolt well we need to stop these guys so this definitely needs to be fought manually but there's nothing to be concerned about here this should be a relatively easy fire the only reason we're shooting at our towers is to stop them from shooting you guys it's got pretty narrow range it's roughly here so what I could do instead is actually just create a bridge because we're not gonna have much ammo they're not gonna put units on the wall fine we'll go stand over here and then there's nothing they can do to shoot at us with the towers see I did five damage with with one bully I create a breach because I don't want to fight on the walls and the next thing we want to do is use the wizard I really want to hit those arches unfortunately it bounced off the wall 75 kills are still pretty good but we missed this one here so yeah like I said it's pretty damn narrow that they can't hit us the design of Sage's in this game is obviously very bad I don't know how it got through it's a design process terribly designs sieges all right it's not gonna be a the greatest cast of all time but I'm gonna take out these dread Spears with it it's all about that angle [Music] if you can manage to lure guys out here to shoot them that's also good once they've shadowed that's good enough definitely deprioritize taking out their missile units once all their missile units are dead the rest of it should be easy I'm try and hit this and fast it into that one as well yeah it did a bit of damage all right I'm not gonna make a push we're getting shot a little bit but it's okay I just want to get over here and try and shoot them might actually get up on the walls as well cause they're not very long range and also trying to shoot over the water this guy here is not going to work so looting occupy because we're expecting it's gonna revolt anyway and that way you get least get a bit of money and slaves out of it you just have to accept on legendary difficulty that it's virtually impossible to maintain public order you can either spend heaps of resources keeping it under control well you just let it revolt and actually end up making shitloads more money okay so if you've gotten to this point by turn 10 the hard part's over you've taken all the difficult settlements it's going to take and now it's just a case of consolidation and try to accumulate as much cash as possible now looking at things from a financial point of view we don't need this unit anymore it's way more expensive than most of these other units so I'm gonna get rid of it like I said it's just a case of of what we need and what we want while some would be good to have a unit in here we just don't need anymore fights at heart so ever so that's gonna save us a lot of money per tonne which we can reinvest into it own territories so looking at all these things of you this this province here is probably going to have another revolt and if the rebellion is still out there somewhere which I think it is it must be caught in somebody's zone of control and if it wasn't there we'd see a military crackdown but anyway since it's still out that was likely gonna happen is damage across the board here from all of our our buildings but that's okay we can still build things up while that's going on so that will provide us with money or we could go for growth I don't think we need to worry about too much growth right now we should try to get some more money okay so what we want to do is quickly come down here capture this before the revolt and then get back over here and deal with the revolt need to keep moving towards lightning strike over here very important so 19 units will keep us order for the time being also next turn we'll be able to grab a black arc and just get started on its growth but overall this seems to be a pretty solid start so we could repair these things over here but you know it will repair one zone over time I'm actually thinking that maybe I'll get rid of this I don't think we desperately need the growth no no I'll live a bit you know what I like even repair it because it would be good to expand these the areas fairly quickly since we got to keep a balance between growth and money if you go all growth you'll end up not having enough money to build when you need to if you go all money you gotta wait for ages to get the growth up and so you end up with too much money so it's about keeping a balance all right so that's really good pop that down in Revit there's an item over here or a lad called a mysterious island might have something in there for us we'll be able to reach their next turn we should I reckon sack and occupy the settlement and then we need to look towards sorting out these all right looking at this promise here yet this got damaged that means the rebellion is still out there somewhere we just don't know where it is so just repair these it'll be relatively cheap all right so we'll have to fight this battle manually because the odds aren't amazing there but given the situation we're gonna easily slaughter them it's just yet I usually don't want to order resolved unless it's really over here because otherwise units are getting at Newton I've destroyed all the barracks it's now like a circuit and then occupy just does some damage to someone but it's always gonna be at tier 1 so it's fine all right looking at this we go there's gonna be a revolt in two turns so we'll be able to get back there in time that's good you could go with iron discipline Aryan if you want but this also does provide us with little bit of extra cash every time we loot something so I might stick with that don't really need that extra public water foot local region now the next thing I'm gonna get rid of that don't eat it the next thing I'm going to get this wizard here oh that is low loyalty that's a bit of a problem it's okay we can work with it for the time being so we want to do get it over to here to occupy that because I don't want Malekith doing it what we can do to improve her loyalty is give her some items that might yeah we'll see here we go with that okay she should be able to maintain as long as it doesn't get to zero I'll be fine the problem here is that if we disband her with two loyalty could be a problem okay we've only got a short amount of time loyalty critical it's actually gotten a bit better okay so yeah it'll rebel rebelle next time but here's the thing this army here would be really easy to defeat good thing I didn't get a non-aggression pact with them because here's what we do okay you come stand here like I've come stand yeah okay so we want to do is we don't attack you but want to push him in this direction make sure you stand about there that way if he retreats back to here we still get can get him and he will declare war on him purely because money and experience that's all now there's two option you can do here you can attack with her she if she gets a victory it'll increase her loyalty but Malekith won't get as much experience so if Malekith finds that he'll get more experience so you go to sort of make a decision on that I think at three loyalty she'll be okay so I'm again yet Mallika's to do it glad they made it allowed us to attack I'm not concerned about their says it's about even but I reckon angles are terrible so they're just gonna get slaughtered by us for one thing burning head is just gonna just destroy them so this is gonna be pretty easy I think at least now funny thing here is because the garrison got wiped out there's no zone of control there so they didn't actually have to run as far back otherwise it will run a little bit further but it's totally fine so we don't necessarily need her to keep going with her because her job was to come over here sort that out and that also helped her with her loyalty so that's good so yeah this time it can be able to resolve good extra experience and money can't complain about that alright so there will be a revolt over here but we just need to get over there get ready to do with it should pop up around here I think so rather than building up any of these other ones now we'll wait until we've got to growth and go straight to tear through with that if these ones here get attacked by Hmong well at least we'll have walls here that's the best of hope because let's face it Hmong will probably attack all right the situation here is fine could repair the stuff but it doesn't matter basically I mean we're still getting half value out of this but it's also causing public order problems now that can actually be a good thing because public order problems means more revolts more revolts means more money and experience and you really do need that kind of stuff okay everything else seems good alright now if you're also wondering why I demolish this it's so that I can build this first because if I hadn't demolished it this would cost full growth and I need to build this as soon as possible so that I can just help me grow faster we can always just rebuild it later down the track but we've got to get it growing you know quickly because otherwise it's gonna sit there doing nothing for a really long time moving on so if you see something like this happen just ignore it someone will come and occupy that at a later date are they busy yeah they're busy fighting someone else just just leave them alone occupying this one region down here it's not worth it it's gonna be difficult to maintain these two as it is so just leave it be for now so this one's loyal again that's good and let's do this he could search the ruin first but then you're still paying extra upkeep for her before your other army so it's best just to tie up and colonize it how am I imagine doing that battle this early I don't think we're quite ready for that so I'm not gonna do that in this particular battle video let's get rid of her now should be fine at 6 little T let's grab that and then we just need to get this one I'll get Malekith to do that after let's just see what happens after we've defeated this so this doesn't look like it's gonna be too difficult just go straight at him all right so we could order resolve that probably wouldn't lose any units but we'd also wipe them out we should try to find a manually so that we can get two battles out of it cuz it's could go lightning strike now but we could also go quartermaster because we don't need the lightning strike to deal with these rebels but in case anyone declares war on us this would be probably the most useful thing so let's grab that now just for safety because they've only got one army and if and another one fights us and they got two armies that way you just deal with them one at a time all right so rebellion going to be in about two turns another option is I could just recruit another Lord to go do that in their stead but it'll cost more because we could do it next - you know what I'll just come back to a bigger rebellion it's fine we should be able to reach Temple of Cain next turn oh one thing I could do of course go and grab this why not let's grab that so that's not bad but I'm not going to make use of it so I've got a high off slave here give that to you if we can manufacture income doesn't hurt suppose if we want to really maintain public order we could do this that'll give us two extra because we'll need we'll need it to be under seven next turn in order to stop a revolt so looking at things military crackdown is gonna go down devastations three so I can prepare that that means it'll go down so next time it'll be at minus thirty then I make it back to minus twelve this will make it minus 11 minus nine so much ten and if I'm occupying this and sitting in there we might just be able to make it alright so like a like I anticipated it's a minus nine so this is gonna leave our army badly damaged but we'll still be strong enough to take care of rebellion so it's not going to revolt next time giving us time to get back over here just so we're able to attack it even even in this shape here we'll still get two turns to recover a little bit even at that shape we should still be okay if I move a little bit closer I might just be able to sit not quite because that does provide a tiny bit of extra replenishment for other people in its sphere of influence but just don't on reach all right grab that and let's see let's go with growth you have to go with that so one more look that's gonna be done just in time now good there was another revolt here that the revolt is still after it must be caught within as an enemy zone of control because they enemy generally speaking how other factions don't declare don't attack your rebels and your rebels sometimes won't attack them unless who knows so they're if they're in each other's zone of control they just stuck there completely I reckon that's what's happening over here if I had to guess don't have anyone to go and check one day maybe alright so that's done what do we need next grab this so that we can hit get that extra growth for black arcs and then we got here alright so he's already got lightning strike now let's go down quartermaster save ourselves some upkeep so yeah it's a flee gonna revolt this turn that's okay we'll be back here and getting more replenishment so when the revolt shows up we'll be in good enough shape but not perfect but good enough alright so over here I've got twenty thousand to spend yep altar of ultimate darkness we need that start building the walls as well so that it's ready to go when that's done okay then we're definitely want to build up the port's build of this and that okay definitely wanna get a death hag since the public order doesn't seem to be an issue why don't we go with extra growth and we still got five grand left to spend so everything is looking good here don't need to do anything with any of that okay I don't actually want slaves have with Klan rictus this could give us some extra money but we saw the Klan in Richter's actually occupied the settlement last turn so if I ever wanted to clear war on them this will sort of be a little bit in the way well you know money talks and you could always just cancel it later down the track so do it at your discretion actually know what that might actually be better I want the non-aggression pact I just want a trade agreement see I can't actually offer 100 I'll just whatever that's fine I'll get that money back in one turn so it's fine we have no intention of going down there any time soon and at least getting some trade is better than none all right turn 17 three more turns to go basically it's this part of the guide I'm just like three turds please no catastrophic disaster occur anyway let's take out these rebels once again we wanna fight them manually talk about gaining experience to this point and getting as much money together as possible and growing up these provinces so that we can then move on to the next one because we just cannot leave at this point all right cool and the next one should be able to be able to resolved all right three turns left to go we've got one revolt here every three turns roughly one thing that we can do and there's only because Glenn Richter's came here we can come down here and search ruins knowing full well the Klan rictus is there and all this is gonna do is give our Wizard an extra level up basically because doesn't cost anything and then we'll just stay here wait for the revolt all right temple cane is green so the other two over here are orange so it would be better to put the growth in there because the climate doesn't affect that start whereas climate affects this by fifteen percent so it's just you would get more out of it if we go this and this rather than the other way around there will be a revolt here in two turns I was bring it back and we just keep him there okay two turns until gross is finished that we want to try and get these walled up because these guys here would be the next target but we just need to get Nagrand and harry's leveled up and maybe get some of these other texts like like this one done for the extra public order before we leave so one more turn and we can get a death egg hopefully we get one with a good trait not super important though and that's also why sort of left it with nineteen knowing full well that this this plate at this pate the spot here in the army was reserved for a death hag here we are to turn nineteen everything is looking pretty solid it's a quiet yep definitely want that to get just want to pump in as much growth into these black arts as possible so that once we've done with the whole dinner like finding the rebel sort of thing this is should be at level tier I don't know three or four by then at which point you can then build the warrior Hall if you want to get Reaper bought throws shades are very much recommended these shades with great swords are better but shades with duel weapons are quicker to recruit and slightly cheaper and then at tier four now you've got the black out of Nagrand up here and I like to put in a few war hydras but entirely up to you how you want to build your armies up and there we are that's turn 20 now I could go ahead and make this attack over here but I think you've gotten the gist of what the what the sort of strategy is here we've secured two full provinces that's eight regions we've got Malekith up to tier 10 is sorceress up to nine if we fought this up to here probably go up to 11 we don't have any walls going on making five grand a turn we've got a black orchid growing at a pretty reasonable rate and we've got a trade agreement with that with clan rictus so everything is going pretty well now of course there's gonna be variations between people even if you follow everything verbatim even when I went up through was going through here in the early part of the guide you know things didn't quite go according to plan experience is really needed for when things go wrong being able to make adjustments to your plan so that you don't fall behind on on the I guess on the plan that you had in
