strongest sarin I have ever seen yeah I think that's quite fitting well Kai you were [Music] wrong incredibly over dramatic intro that took me way too long to make besides truly this is pretty the video there are two stars of the show today obviously sarin is one of them but as the game's most notorious weapons buffer we have to pair her with one and what gun other than the sobec to do so with sobec alone ain't much of anything low multishot low CC the fire rate and reload speed aren't that good it just doesn't have that much going for it except for one very important mod acid shells acid shells is one of four weapon specific mods in the game that have a unique trait wherein on kill enemies will explode and deal two instances of damage one being x amount of a certain element and the other a percentage of their Max Health as blast damage to All Enemies within a definite radius for sobec or acid shells this is 450 corrosive damage 45% HP and 15 met respectively further traits of this explosion are a 100 to 0% linear damage falloff meaning that the farther away enemies are from the initial explosion the less damage this will do it also does respect line of sight unfortunately but on the opposite side of the spectrum kills with the explosion will trigger it again leading to possible infinite chains in the right conditions but all of that is dependent on whether or not the explosion even does kill which it won't right now at least now why is this damage so pitiful well there are a few reasons and one of them is unfortunately a major bug that is currently affecting all percent HP mods for whatever reason the mod is scaling the amount of HP redirected off of enemies base non-steel path values you know how shattering impact only cares about an enemy's base armor regardless of level scaling well this is the same scenario except not good as the expected 45% redirection gets turned into 18% with the 100% HP steel path modifier I know this may sound bad and admittedly it is but again look at this clip this is still a very very powerful build and if it gets fixed it will only get better now for the less complicated issue armor Gunners of this level have over 990,000 HP and are just shy of 9,000 armor for a final 96.68 per damage reduction or 16.6 million ehp on steel path so even if our acid shells explosion deals 40,500 damage which remember it isn't that is still less than 3% of their total HP lucky for us though sarin is a very potent armor ship frame through her first ability spores spores has a few different functions right now we're going to discuss spread and growth casting requires an enemy in which once done will infect them with three spores for an infinite duration each individual Spore will deal corrosive damage each second to the target with a base 50% chance to proc the corrosive status itself shooting one of these spores on an enemy will cause it to transmit to all other enemies within spread range these function exactly the same as patient zero spores as the outbreak begins the damage dealt per Spore at base is 10 and for every second they remain active damage will increase by two per infected enemy with a cap of seven infected contributing at once damage is uniform between them hard capped at 100,000 and is displayed above your weapons HUD right here in our case spore's ability to spread the corrosive status rapidly between enemies is quite beneficial as each stack remove a percentage of their armor though it will normally cap out at 80% for 10 Stacks this does require the help of something you're most likely familiar with to achieve that full strip Emerald archon shards with the plus two corrosive stack cap bonus with two of these shards we have a new cap of 14 which means that all enemies besides bosses can be full Stripped by spores and allow acid shells to shine a bit more than previously expected once they've spread a few kills will nuke all of these surrounding area there is one more piece of the puzzle though and that is toxic lash lash will imp view all of your weapons with toxin damage starting at 30% this is dealt as a separate hit of damage like Z's whisper and it also guarantees a toxin proc on every hit this additional hits damage is Quantified before health and armor resistances with the resulting toxin dot scaling in quite a powerful manner toxin mods on your weapon will apply their own toxin mod specific multiplier to the tix from lash regardless of whether or not they are combined into another element and furthermore faction damage mods also benefit lash and the dot extremely well first they will multiply your weapon's initial damage then they will multiply the Lash instance a second time and then finally multiply the resulting dot a third time otherwise known as triple dipping and finally the reason lash and sobec pair so well together is because acid shell explosions will taxi a toxin lash attack as if you were shooting your own weapon again this is due to acid shells explosion being considered another instance of your weapon's damage and lash essentially piggybacking off of it in the first place causing it to deal the initial strike again and have the dot find its way onto every Afflicted enemy combine the two together and we only need one bullet with zero stacks of any kind but as usual I think we ain't done yet acid shells and other percent HP mods are affected by faction damage sources differently than you may expect when used they will multiply the percentage of enemy Health that is dealt within the AOE if the mod were functioning correctly the math would look as follows with just a normal faction mod that is 45% * 1.3 for 58% add in roar's base 30 and that becomes 72% to get the full 100% redirection we need 2.23 or 123% faction damage now any kill with acid shells in a perfect environment with zero falloff will kill all surrounding enemies immediately before we get to the builds there is still one final multiplier we can add in here Emerald archon shards again but this time with the toxin status damage multiplier of 30% for non TOs and 45% for to these shards are quite powerful for many reasons on sarin and a big thank you to jasmus on YouTube for this great video explaining their function their channel will be linked down below Emerald shards add a multiplicative damage buff to our toxin dots say they deal 100 damage take that and use this equation to find the brand new value interestingly this is multiplicative with faction damage sources like Roar and this does extend to lash as well while it does not double or triple dip with how much damage we already have here that would have been quite absurd Overkill let's talk about the soc build as it opens up a bit more discussion on Tech we use in this build acid shells obviously galvaniz hell from more multi-shot the Bane mod of your applicable faction and our element of choice is going to be viral rather than corrosive as sarin has an augment for her first ability Venom dose that on hold cast gives a rather excessive amount of the stat because lash also takes into account any form of toxin regardless of whether or not it is modded into other elements the corrosive buff here does work to multiply that and then build viral on our weapon to get that multiplier too we do build this with the toxin 6060 mod and then chilling reload which foregoes the additional status chance for a Reload buff something I find necessary on the soc furthering the toxin specific Buffs provided to lash contagious spread should also be slotted in here because acid shells deals perc HP damage and we are armor stripping it will scale to level cap all on its own and unfortunately Galan I Savvy does not buff the explosion or the taxi toxin Dot from lash at all but it is still useful for killing the initial Target there is not much else that could go in here and considering that with just our weapon we can apply six different statuses it does help out a lot I have two different options for your last two slots and Arcane if you have primary blight use it blight on toxin proc will add multi-shot and critical damage stacking up to 144% critical damage and 72% multi-shot shotguns get affected by multi-shot particularly well due to their innately high value and even with soc's low base of five at Max blight and galvaniz you are firing 15.1 pellets per trigger pull because the Arcane does add a lot of critical damage running crit D Cel to up our cc to 33% will again help with killing the initial Target if you'd like even more critical damage consider dropping barrage for primed ravage if you do not have a blight run merciless instead and Seeker over deceleration for the added punch through our fire rate issue on both builds is solved through our companion and the rein reinforc Bond mod reinforc provides 60% more fire rate for our weapons if our companion has more than 1150 Shields my companion of choice Nautilus doesn't have that though so how do we hit this Benchmark reinforced also states that reloading will grant your companion 150 Shields that will stack into overshields to get around this reload requirement we can use an interesting piece of tech with a high fire rate and high magazine secondary the Dex furus for example dumping the mag and the switching back to sobec with the eject magazine mod at rank zero will have it passively reload the mag which does count towards reinforc which when combined with calculated redirection gives us just enough shields for the fire rate buff just pay attention to this in Mission swap back and dump mag when the shields drop here is the rest of the setup though built for cord and spam to help group enemies for acid shells and the use of duplex bond with this hellstrom build makes status priming quite easy remember virals multiplication does work for acid shells here is the Furious build as well now time for sarin firstly I do have a to Casting Shard this isn't necessary but I like the speed it provides strength and range are arguably the most important stats for this build starting with deformer blind rage transient fortitude and umbrell intensify as a baseline this gives us almost 300% strength but unfortunately we do need range for our Spore spread radius which at 235 Cuts us down to 238 strength which we will rebuild with malt augmented Prime continuity for durations over 30 seconds and Venom dose for that corrosive buff at such high strength though our spores have well over 100% status chance and fully strip enemies within three or four ticks and lash gives an insane 96% Ora wise run briefer spite which when combined with two augs on our pistol and either reach or secet tier a single cast of malt sarin second ability will give us over 200 Shields according to the Shield gate chart this provides us with just over 1 second of Shield gating basically equal to running catalyzing except we just don't need it spam like this is tough without sufficient energy generation though so make sure to run energize and zenic or adjust the build in what is most comfortable for you finally Prime shooted because staying off here not this time pratos with this build is great for acolyte killing through Heavies and the movement bonuses provided are always welcome oh and if you somehow haven't noticed yeah we're using as it is Paramount to buffing acid shells and lash alongside making our spores deal much more damage and there we have it everyone sarin perfected or Unbound I haven't actually decided on the title yet but whichever one I do choose how do we feel about that I want to continue this series where I make probably the most highly edited guides on frames with a near or actually perfected build next is probably Equinox and after that the gaus thermal suerb build though I may throw in another Dante or Neja video wow video video that isn't as highly edited regardless I hope you enjoyed this
