issues of issues of my heart my heart here we go safe is gratefulness yes [Music] hallelujah [Music] come on think about it i've been through too much much much much much not to worship him anybody been through something to say [Music] [Applause] [Music] i'll worship you [Music] [Music] [Music] i'm grateful i'm grateful i'm praying come on don't stop don't stop if you're grateful if you're faithful give a praise somebody waited all week to get to church today if you're grateful praise them if you're thankful praise them you can do it [Music] hey man [Music] father we bless your name today we say hallelujah to your name you are worthy god and when we consider all that we've seen in life and all that we've been through we can just tell you thank you so father we thank you today for how good you've been for how much you've kept us through through everything you've seen us through and for that we say thank you we do believe and declare if it had not been for the lord on our side we don't know where we would be but you have kept us you have provided for us you've healed us you have seen us through so many times and for that we say thank you and we thank you god not just for what you've done but we thank you god also for who you are that you were strong that you were mighty that you are a deliverer that you are a friend that you are a keeper that you are everywhere that you have all power we say thank you and now lord as we open your word today we pray o god that your word may guide us and direct us how we can live more fully for you is for you it's for that that we say thank you it's in jesus name that we do pray amen come on and give god praise together amen you may take your seats to both our family that's in the room and our family that's online we are incredibly incredibly thankful for your presence on the day we're incredibly thankful that we get to spend time together around god's word and uh if you're in the dallas area we want to encourage you and invite you to join us in person at the same time we know we work hard to give you a great experience on both platforms but we're also thankful uh for as we continue to get reconnected this fall season together let me we're a church that believes in growing people matter of fact our mission is this people growing people by connecting to their next step with christ and we believe you grow in four words four ways in our church worship which is what we're doing here here today but it's also what you do in your private walk with the lord grow groups which is our groups model i want to thank all those that have joined a grow group this fall and you've been meeting once a week studying god's word and it's a great way to stay connected to the church family the third way that you grow is through serving right it's by using the gifts that god has given you that you realize every single one of us can make an impact for jesus christ and god wants you to do so matter of fact there is a service opportunity that's right present in in our local community uh dallas independent schools is looking for tutors right they are paying anywhere from 13 an hour for high school and college students to up to 31 an hour for retired teachers so they have a virtual fare coming up this coming wednesday and thursday you can go on their website and find them but they're looking for tutors to help so many of our young people uh that are still behind uh because of that covert year and the challenges that were there so that's an opportunity for you to serve the last way you grow in our church is through giving right when you give faithfully to the church you allow us to do the work god has called us to do it's like anything else you're giving funds and helps us do the ministry god has called so those four ways shape how we give together i am so thankful um for us being in this new series this fall we're in a series on the life of david it's called odd one out because that really represents who david was david was like this least likely to succeed individual that god picked and god used in a significant way just like in each and every one of our lives god can do the same thing through us when we give him our life it's amazing what god can do it's not what we bring to the table is what god does with wherever we may be in all of our lives if you've got your bibles would you jump in with me to first samuel chapter 24 first samuel chapter 24. and i'm going to look we're going to look at that text momentarily but today i want to talk about the waiting room the waiting room the waiting room the waiting room it was a single woman in our church for some time that i watched that she kind of navigated through life she navigated through life ultimately she it just so happened that god would send her the one that she was ultimately looking for and then i watched them as they begin their early life together in marriage and then as they begin this journey they then had this desire to have children and they began to pray to god and ask god for it but they never anticipated so many challenges they would run into infertility was an issue they continued to battle they went to doctor after doctor trying to find a pathway to be able to to have the child that they deeply longed to have they went through uh in ventro they they they went through a miscarriage even tragically they lost a child within the first year of his birth they had so many challenges and yet we continue to pray and ask god and trust god and they were so patient throughout this season that i remember the occasion when they would reach out to me and say listen pastor we've decided we want to adopt a child so they began the adoption process asked me to be a reference and then i remember the day when they finally brought home their newborn baby they begin this journey when i think about their story i have always been blown away with how patient they were i was always captured by how how much they were willing to wait on god how they did everything in their power but ultimately they were simply trusting god for what god wanted to do and trusting god for this prayer that they had in their lives friends so many of us know what it's like to wait on god waiting on god friends is not something that you can just uh bypass friends waiting on god is a reality of life there's no way you can get around it i don't i don't care who you are i don't care who you know waiting on god is something all of us have to experience for some it's waiting on the test results or waiting on the job or waiting on the right relationship or waiting on a relationship to get better or it could be waiting on test results or waiting to pass certification or waiting on graduation waiting on a promotion or waiting or hit for healing to happen in your life at some place waiting is something we just can't avoid waiting to try and buy a new house or waiting on the next job or waiting on someone to grow into the relationship that god has for them or waiting on your kids to grow up and move on and be responsible adults all of us have something we are waiting for friends and the truth of the matters that are awaiting is a mandatory part of us living out the christian life there is no way to get around your waiting i wish that i had some magic recipe to be able to help you to avoid your waiting but friends it does not exist i remember several years ago my wife took our kids to six flags i was out of town she said listen we went to six flags she said but i want you to notice there's going to be a an extra charge while we're there i said what happened she said listen it was a crowded day people were everywhere so we got a fast pass i said what's that she said listen it gives you early action you get a special line you get to go by everybody you don't look at nobody don't give them eye contact cause they can look at you crazy but you just keep on moving and it gives you early access friends there is no fast pass when it comes to waiting on god i wish there was but there is not there are moments in times where you and i simply have to wait on what god is going to do in our lives if there's anybody in the bible that exemplifies this issue it's david i mean we love to talk about david and what he did with goliath but friends listen david has over a 10-year season in his life where he is simply waiting on god he has up to 14 years where he is just waiting on god to do what god already promised him to do it's end that season and i want us to take a glimpse into one of those days let's look in in his life here in first samuel 24 allow me to read this passage and then we'll take some time to look at some truths that come out of the text here it is first samuel chapter 24 after saul returned from pursuing this is saul the previous king the saul returned from pursuing the philistines he was told david is in the desert of engetti so saul took 3 000 young able young men from all of israel and set out to look for david and his men near the craigs of the wild goats and he came to the sheep's pen along the way a cave was there and saul went in to relieve himself and david and his men were far in the cave and the men said this is the day the lord spoke of whom he said to you i will give your enemies into your hands for you to deal with as you wish and then david crept up unnoticed and cut off a corner of the saul's robes afterwards david was conscious stricken for having cut off a corner of the robe he said to his men the lord forbid that i should do such a thing to my master the lord's anointed or lay my hand on him for he is the anointed of the lord with this words david sharply rebuked his men and they did not allow them to attack saul and saul left the cave and went his way but then david went out of the cave and called out the saul my lord the king when saul looked behind him david bowed down and prostrated himself with his face toward the ground and he said this all why do you listen when these men say david has been unharming you this day you have seen with your own eyes how the lord delivered you into my hands in the cave some urged me to kill you but i spared you i said i will not lay my hand on the lord because he is the lord's anointing see my father look at the piece of your robe in my hand i cut off the corner of your robe and did not kill you see then that there is nothing in my hand to indicate that i am guilty of wrongdoing or rebellion i have wronged you but you are hunting me down to take my life for the lord judge between you and me and may the lord avenge the wrongs you have done to me and but my hand will not touch you as the old saying goes from evil doers come evil deeds so my hand when i touch you among whom the king of israel came out who are you pursuing a dead dog a flea may the lord be our judge and decide between us may consider my calls and uphold it may he vindicate me by delivering me from your hand and when david finished saying this saul asked is that your voice david my son and he wept aloud you were more righteous than i he said you have treated me well but i have treated you badly you have just told me about the good you did to me the lord delivered me into your hands but you did not kill me when a man finds his enemy does he let him get away unharmed for the lord rewards you well for the way you have treated me today i know that surely you'll be keen that the kingdom of israel will be established in your hands now swear to me by the lord that you will not kill off my descendants or wipe out my name from the father's family so david gave his oath to saul then saul returned home but david and his men went up to the stronghold let me give you a picture friends of what's happening in this text who david is the king remember he's been anointed as king and in first samuel 17. but now we find okay now now now he is waiting until he has been appointed king and then this 14 10 to 14 year period it's in this period that saul is chasing david down saul david is now running in the desert called the in getting and there he is traveling and saul continued to pursue him on this occasion saul has 3 000 people david has about 600. and here is dave saul goes into a cave to relieve himself to use the restroom and while he's in there david is near the back of the cave and david sees saul there and the people with saul say to him what david says david this is your chance david take him out david don't you remember that verse where it says god will bring you and now mind you nobody can find that verse anywhere but but but it's in there he's he says he says take him out you got any friends like that in your squad that when there's a situation they will encourage you go with you to key the car they will tell you listen let's this this is your moment listen this he he doesn't set this thing up they they will encourage you to get revenge right this this is them they're like david this is it man we got your back there he's he's in a vulnerable position david david says david david david listen to what they say then david goes and cuts off an edge of his of his robe and then david when he does it he immediately he's like man i shouldn't have done that i should i shouldn't i shouldn't have done that so then they go outside saul's outside and they have this conversation and david says to saul so i don't get this why you keep chasing me why you keep hounding me why are you always after me you ever notice that in your waiting season there are some people that make your waiting incredibly difficult there are some people that that that it seems as though the here's the thing about david david like listen i had nothing to do with you but but for whatever reason saul is deeply jealous and concerned about david so david david says listen i haven't done anything all you heard about me ain't even true listen i've got a i've got your robe in my hands if i wanted to i could have taken you out he said but look at you i didn't even do it that's not what i'm about and then saul replies back and saul says back to him listen you are a better man than i am god god brought you to me you god god let you have me and you didn't even take me out you could have but you didn't choose to and then you have this moment where saul says i know text says i know you're going to be the next king he said he said i know i can already see it i already know it i'm struggling but i know god is going to use you and god is going to work through you and god has already known as you can he weeps asks him not to cut out his family name and they go their separate ways but i want you to understand about first samuel 24 that first samuel 24 is really one chapter that captures what happens really between all the way from from 22 from 21 to the end of the book in chapter 31. that it's this it's a scene where david is constantly on the run and struggling where david is waiting on god let me share with you a couple of principles i think we learned from david about waiting on god here's the first one waiting time is testing time waiting time is testing time i want you to catch the part of what david is having to understand is that as david as being is waiting on god to answer his prayer david is being tested every moment of this season now sometimes friends when we are waiting on god to move and we're waiting on god to make it happen we're waiting on god to answer our prayers what's actually happened is god is testing us to see if we are actually ready for what god wants to do in our lives this is what happens when when david has to decide whether to take saul out or to wait on god it is this issue of will you do it yourself or will you trust god to do it friends this is a temptation every single one of us has to face that will you do it yourself or will you trust god is going to be able to do it for you it's a testing season that your waiting season is your testing season will you trust god for it or will you make it happen yourself are you going are you going are you going to just buy it and then try to figure out how to pay for it and say god help me to cover the bill or will you wait on god to give you what you need first before you then make the purchase will you will you will you trust god to elevate you or will you try to sleep your way to the top will will you will you trust god for the relationship or will you ignore every single red flag and say it's better to have somebody because it's cuffing season than to have nobody this is what he's saying in the text he is saying in this text that each of us will be tested in the midst of your waiting because ultimately what god is trying to say he's trying to figure out what's in your heart will you be petted or will you be purposeful will you be great will you will you continue to grumble because you're tired of waiting and you're tired of of god not answering or you're tired of you're not making process will you grumble or will you be grateful he's trying to ask us what's in your heart will you be impatient or will you be intentional will you be jealous because god keeps blessing other people around you because god does it for your friend and hasn't done it for you will you be jealous because it feels like the timing has taken too long or will you find joy no matter what season you're in because you're trusting god for what he wants to do uniquely for you in your life your waiting season is your testing season because god is trying to get our hearts right he wants your heart right so that when he does it he will still get the glory he will still get the ounce on her if he gives it to you too soon you couldn't handle it in the first place but it's he's getting our heart rate and so he's trying to test us your waiting season is your testing season god knew that there was a kingship that was coming way down the road and he used this season of waiting to get to get david ready for what god was about to do in david's life he knew the kind of king that israel needed and he knew the kind of david that david needed and he used it the waiting season to get him ready for that season listen god is trying to take you somewhere god is trying to do something in your life and the waiting season is the testing season so that you will be fully prepared to embrace to handle and to honor god faithfully when that season come somebody ought to say thank you for testing me that's what he's doing your waiting season is your testing season here it is secondly waiting time is working time waiting time is working time we had a loved one that was in the hospital and we went to their appointment early in the morning five or am whenever they may show up this early time for this procedure and there we arrived with him as the procedure was to happen that day we then in turn were in the pre-op room where they were beginning to ask the questions and take vitals and all those preliminaries we sat there as the nurse began to ask him a series of questions and began to gather the belongings and and then the physician came in and began to talk about the procedure that was about to take place that day and then said you go to the waiting room and we will give you periodic updates that there will be some updates that will come and let you know how they're doing how things are going we then left went out to the to the waiting room and there while sitting in the waiting room you know it seems like time passes slow in the waiting room and he said i'll go get updates ain't nobody came yet i mean you just you're just trying to take your time you go went and grabbed a quick bite as quick as we could came back still no no answer no text message no update and but i had to remind myself while i was waiting that while i was waiting in the waiting room the surgeon was working in the operating room while i was waiting in the waiting room the surgeon and the staff and the anesthesiologists there's a whole team of people that are working on our loved one but i had to keep reminding myself that even though i was in the waiting room they were working in the operating they were working they were they were stitching and they were they were pride and they were they were doing all the medical practices to bring complete healing to my loved one so that finally when i got word that everything had gone well i said i had to keep reminding myself listen while i was waiting i am so thankful that they were working and friends you got to remind yourself today of that that while you are waiting god is working that while you are waiting on your answer while you are waiting on the update while you are waiting on the progress please don't make the mistake of letting the enemy convince you that you are doing everything by yourself no i want you to know that while you are waiting on dallas god is working in memphis tennessee while you're waiting in dallas god is working in houston texas while you're waiting at your house god is working at your baby's school while you are working god is while you are waiting god is working that is david's testimony david's testing on is that he's waiting these 10 14 years and while david is waiting and moving from place to place and city of the city while david is waiting god is working god is working on david and god is also working on his next assignment i want you to catch this friends saul shows up and saul has in his mind there's this conspiracy that people are out to take saul out and saul keeps accusing david of david doing something to try to discredit song and when david shows up and they have this conversation david says listen i could have taken you out if i wanted to but he says listen matter of fact here it is i almost did but i didn't they told me to but i didn't and the reason that david can have so much confidence is that david understands it ain't my job right now to try to take you out he says listen while i'm waiting god is working he says saul you think it's me what you don't understand and saul confesses later that i know god has been working this whole time they trying to pin it on you he says no it ain't me it's god that keeps on working god keeps elevating my name god keeps moving stuff out the way god has positioned me while i'm waiting god is working and god has put me where i am this is david's testimony david understands that he didn't arrive where he was by coincidence but david understands that god has been at work for his entire life that when he was the least likely to succeed and nobody even invited him to come when the prophet came to the house it was god who says i don't look at the outside i look at the heart it was god that picked david out of everybody else it was god that gave david the shrimp to take down its giants it was god that gave him the strength to walk through this wilderness year after year after year while david was waiting god was working and somebody in the room today knows this is your story that while you've been waiting god has been working he's been working in your private life he's been working in your finances he's been working in your spiritual life he's been working in your relationships he's been working in your career he was working in your teenage years he was working in your 20s he was working in your 30s and he's still working in your 40s you have a god that has been working his purpose on your life this is david's story david says he says god god god god has been working he's he's been working he's been working for me he's been working he's been he's been working while you're waiting waiting time is god's working time there we were at that particular restaurant we were ready to get our food and you know how it is when you're waiting on the table we are masters at counting the people to get their table before ours we we keep an eye out we we just gotta we got an eye out to kind of see who came in after us and who came before us we have a photographic memory of who they look like and what they head on and what color of skin they have we remember all these things it just clicks in our minds automatically and so there we were sitting on the table we had been there we were waiting and waiting for our table to come and at some point you know we just like listen this is taking entirely too long so i decided to go up to the maitre d and have a conversation because i can't understand why why people are getting seated in front of us and while we're still sitting here we feel like we've been here longer than all they had we we looked at our watch we we realized we've been here and i don't understand no don't get this started because there's another issue we can bring up too but but but i understand why he's taking us alone make sure he looks at me and says and then i mention i go to the table he says listen i just want to know i even look at the list and i can see at the lip everybody else's name crossed out crossed out but our name is still there he said he says mr carter um the reason they're all being seated is that that's a party of two that's a party of two that's a party of two he said but you have a party of five and the reason that we can't see you yet or the reason they've been seated in front of you is that they have a they have a smaller party and it's gonna take us a while we got our owl on the table they almost done but we're waiting for a larger table so we can seat your party and you got to be careful while you're waiting because if you're not careful you will look at everybody else that is being seated before you get seated but what you got to know is that god is working on your table but your table it requires more room you've got a party of five and so god is going to take him a little bit longer because what he's trying to do in your life is not just two table kind of stuff what he's trying to do in your life is five table kind of stuff and so he needs a little bit more room because of where he's taking you and because of what he wants to do in your life and so he makes you wait a little while longer but don't give up on god he's already working on the table he's already set stuff out he's already prepared it but he's going to need more time because he's doing a greater work in your life while you're waiting you need to know god is working he's working he's working waiting time it's god's working time here's the next one friends waiting time is not wasting time waiting time is not wasting time i wonder if david ever looked over his life and said how much time have i wasted i wonder david after being out in this desert for the last 10 12 years ever says to himself how much time have i wasted oh where could i have been if i had done this or where could i have gone if i had done this maybe that's not your story but if somebody is honest in the room we've all had those moments in our lives where we feel like we've wasted a lot the relationship didn't work out and we wondered to ourselves i feel like i wasted so much time with that person and perhaps if i had not been there i might have found my next or sometimes we're in a career and we feel like the career is not going where we want it to go or we're not moving as fast and we sometimes wonder what could have happened if i had given all that to this or sometimes we make poor decisions and that poor decision follows us for the rest of our lives and we wonder to ourselves i feel like i've i've wasted some time or other times we feel like because of someone else's decision on our lives that it has impacted us and influenced us and we wonder have i wasted some time sometimes even in our own lives when when times come around even as my birthday comes near there are some moments in time where we wonder god have i wasted some things have i have i not honored you the way i should have honored you in some parts of my life all of us will have moments like that but when you look at david's life david come on i want you to know something i want i want you to lean in today i want you to know that you have not wasted any time i want you to know today that god wastes nothing i want you to know today that god uses every season every day every week every month i want you to know that god uses every relationship every win every loss i want you to know that god uses every uptime every down time i want you to know that god uses every good day every bad day i want you to know god uses every good date every bad date i want you to knew i want you to know god uses every job you've had i want you to know god uses every win you've ever had i want you to know god uses everything on your resume i want you to know god uses every failure you've ever had i want you to know god uses even the sinful broken times of our past i want you to know god uses everything on your record that's good and everything that's bad i want you to know god is using every monday i want you to know god is using every tuesday i want you to know god is using every wednesday every thursday every friday every saturday every sunday i want you to know god is using every morning every afternoon i want you to know there's not a moment of your life that god is not using to make you more like jesus more like he's called you to be to prepare you for the purpose that is upon your life god wastes nothing that david god knows where david is going and god uses this entire desert scenes of his life because god wants to help david to get to where god wants david to be and it's in this desert that david learns humility that it's in this desert that david learns who god is that it's in this desert with the promises unfulfilled that david learned the faithfulness of god and i want you to understand today that when you look at your life don't evaluate your life by your stuff by your name by your resume by your clothes by your cash by who knows you but how many followers you get by whether your kids got in school or not no no no you don't judge your life on the stuff or the substance no you judge your life by saying this god i just want to give you this day like i gave you yesterday god i want to give you the next day like i gave you the next day god i want to give you the next year like i gave you my past years and god you do whatever you want to do in my life it is yours however you want to move however you want to work i give you my life this is david's posture and david has to get to the point that i have not wasted my time no no no but god is using my time he's using every season friend he's using every season he's using every circumstance he's using every sexual situation here you are not wasting your time in my family there's a there's a there's a recipe that's been tasked down for multiple generations this this recipe is a carrot cake recipe my grandmother uh alfreda g thomas uh she she was the first one who had this recipe she's now in heaven she was in san antonio texas she passed to my mom my mom passed it to us and it is a carrot cake i have fond memories of them preparing this cake and they prepare the cake and and and i remember all the ingredients that were going to it but i had one job as a kid that when she had finished preparing the batter and poured it into the dish she would then take the beaters and the bowl and pass it to me and that's where my job came into full fruition this is i was able to do this with all my heart i would take my little fingers and clean that bowl and i would take the beaters and i'd work on the outside then i'd work on the inside i didn't need no help with this i could handle this because every single drop of the batter was good to me and by the time she got the bowl back she put it in the sink and soaked it but listen it was already clean listen it wasn't nothing else on the bowl left because i wanted every single drop i appreciate you friends every drop of your life matters to god there is not one day there is not one moment there is not one second that he is not using to help shape you and to transform you and to push you to becoming all he has called you to be please understand friend that your waiting time is not wasting time here's your final one and i'm done waiting time is worshiping time i'm done friends i've already kept you alone waiting time is your worshiping time we love to talk about the winds of david but i need you to catch that over 10 years david is on the run in the wilderness from saul but i want you to understand that in the old testament there is the longest book in the bible is the book called the psalms it's a hundred and fifty chapters or 150 psalms and david wrote 72 of them but over 10 of them david wrote while he was in the wilderness that these psalms they were written while david is waiting david is learning how to worship and i want to read you a couple of them before i take my seat i want you to catch this that when david writes these psalms they are written from a place of difficulty and yet david is unafraid to come to god with how he's feeling that david david is not afraid to tell god i'm frustrated or god it doesn't make sense to me or god i'm overwhelmed or god they are after me and i want you to understand that when you talk to god that god doesn't expect you to come in a neat little package with everything work together no god wants to be your therapist god wants to be your counselor and hear you in your full self about where you are and about what you're wrestling that god is concerned about your mental health and so that's why when you read the psalms these are not edited psalms no these are songs where he can come and be as honest as he possibly can be lord deal with them and yet he does this because he wants us to understand this is the type of god that we serve friends turn with me to psalm 40 psalm psalm 56 psalm 56 and then we'll look at psalm 57 and then i'm done and i want you to catch this that these are psalms that david wrote while he was waiting and what i want to encourage you to do is that even in this season i want to encourage you i want to encourage you that even in this moment and even in this season that you find that the way you make it through your waiting season is also by learning to worship and depend on god it may be that you write some prayers out it means that you get your own playlists but you just find a way to worship god in the midst of your waiting look at psalm 56 musicians play softly for us if we read these be merciful to me my god for my enemies are in hot pursuit all day long they press their attack my adversaries pursue me all day long in their pride they are attacking me when i was afraid i put my trust in you oh god who's whose word i praise in god i trust and i am not afraid what can mere mortals do to me you ever ask yourself that question what can they do to me what can cancer do to me what can failure do to me what am i worried about look at verse five all day long they twist my words all their schemes are for my ruin they conspire they lurk they watch my steps hoping to take my life because of their wickedness do not let them escape in your anger god bring the nations down look at verse eight record my misery list my tears on your scroll are they not in your record do you understand that god has a pen on every tear you've ever cried do you know that god so cares about you that he is keeping track of your tears he is keeping track of the things that burden your heart look at what he says then my enemies will turn back when i call for help by this i know that god is for me and god whose word i praise and the lord whose word i praise in god i trust and am not afraid what can man do to me i am under vows to you o god i will present my thank offering to you for you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling that i may walk before god in the light of life let me write these down he writes psalm 18 psalm 34 psalm 52 54 56 57 63 124 138 142 all of those psalms he writes while he's waiting on god friends he learns how to worship him i've got this playlist about 15 songs on my my list that i love to play these songs it's about 15 of them and sometimes when life gets hard or sometimes when life is overwhelming i just hit that playlist and i let it repeat i play it in my car i play it at home i play it in my office i like to turn it up real loud i like to sing real loud sometimes there's something therapeutic that happens when you begin to release some stuff to the lord there is something that happens when you begin to worship god despite what you see despite what you heard despite what people may do there was something about one of the songs on my playlist and this song right here it's it's this whole song that lord you are my strength there's something about that that just gets me encouraged that gives me the hope that i need for my own life friends you got to get your own playlist list you better find your way to begin to get to god and stretch for god in those times and moments like that friend just stand with me all over this room i'm going to close on a moment of prayer but even as we close in a moment of prayer i want to invite somebody today to just lift to the lord whatever you're waiting the god for would you do that right now would you just begin to buy your head and release the lord whatever it is that you've been waiting on god for would you begin to declare to god god i am trusting you for it whatever it is maybe it's healing in your life maybe it's a relationship whatever it is maybe salvation for a loved one maybe whatever it is would you begin to release that to the lord and begin to say the lord lord i trust you that you are working while i'm waiting lord i trust you that my waiting is not just wasting time but that you're working god and that god i will worship you while i'm in this moment father we come to you right now all over this room and i pray for my brothers and sisters and friends as we walk through these seasons together in moments of uncertainty we continue to look to you we continue to lean on you we continue to trust you and father we know you are able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we can ask or imagine and father we don't ask it just for our own benefit but we trust you god and we put everything in your hands we love you and we honor you as our prayer in
