my background is in um research and development for live animation and i used to work for an animation company for the research and development team and um and unfortunately my um team got laid off and afterwards i had um this vision of wanting to do live animation for twitch and that's how i came up with code miko she's basically a virtual avatar who streams on twitch and chat has live interactivity where they can play around with their world and i pretty much gamified the live streaming experience through my youtuber so we should mikko was modeled inside maya and um textured in substance major she after the model was brought she was raped inside maya and i pretty much used the unreal mannequin skeleton to map out her joints and then brought in accents through light link um i could show how i have my live link set up it's actually really simple uh i'll show starting my accents uh nbn actually so here this is mikko so you can get a little reference um this is the mvn uh anime pro that i use to link up miko i just go to network streamer um i use the 9763 port and inside unreal engine it's really simple i pretty much have our blueprints uh let me grab our blueprint here um uh this is good this is a little bit of a a huge mess here but and i pretty much link it through this is the 9763 fbs system one uh i use the live like uh tab here and as simple as that it's very fast um it's easy it doesn't take too long to set up and um yeah it's it's been the pipeline through uh the accidents has been pretty smooth i would say um so the the link was great because it lasted a long time uh it lasted 12 hours which is amazing but i started to because i streamed for so long first you know six hours every day uh the link is very tight and the trackers uh actually kind of like start to dig into my skin a little bit so i needed something that was a lot more lightweight and that's when i switched to a window which makes everything so much more comfortable and i honestly cannot really tell too much of a difference between the awenda and the link when it comes to uh like what i need for my mocap
