VR Chat Avatar Clothing Tutorial Unity SDK3

okay so today we're gonna show you how to uh throw some clothing on your wrecks in my previous video i showed how to set everything up for the basics and now we are going to uh throw a hoodie on this guy and get it uploaded so i already imported the package here with the hoodie and the socks so we're gonna do the hoodie uh first what you wanna do is you can throw it either into the scene or the hierarchy here and if you throw in the hierarchy it'll put it right at zero zero so it's already set to our rex because it's a one to one scale and so is the hoodie so just dropping it over here in the hierarchy we'll throw it straight on here next what we have to do is unpack the prefab here and we're gonna have to roll through all this and attach it where it needs to be attached so then we'll open the armature on our rex what all do we need here okay so we got the right shoulder left shoulder we'll start with that okay so we go to elbow we don't have to go any further than that some will this one does not so then we just start dragging and there we go right arm right shoulder and that is all for that arm so now i'm going to go ahead and minimize that just to keep a little bit cleaner left elbow left arm and left shoulder so let's go ahead and close that out don't need that all right then we go to neck we have head which is the only one there close that out neck chest then belly and then we have let's see the legs and the spine so let's go ahead and do the legs next right leg left leg spine and hips here which we will have to open up the tail as well it looks like there we go so hips are attached to hips tails attached to tail we're good there throw this under armature and that should be it for that so now this will all be attached so if you go to play and move this guy it should stay attached where it needs to be click on our x here you can see everything stayed in place that's right where we needed to be and that is the process of putting clothing on to your avatar it's really not too hard
