react to her i get so excited because she's just such an amazing vocalist it's incredible alrighty [Music] bye oh i love her in her like a little pixie you may think you see who i really am but you [Music] she has such a beautiful color of her voice in her lord you stretch it was incredible [Music] she's diffusing a lot [Music] i really love how she's diffusing the second parts of the phrases [Music] well this isn't a very typical fashion of katrina she knows how to start really lightly set the mood and then really hit us later in the song which i am not even questioning that these parts are probably gonna get belted later she has her very typical heavy vibrato and she's using a lot of runs but in this song it's just fitting absolutely right in i love how she's starting with like a full chest voice and then she's really diffusing it completely at the higher parts of the phrases those get extremely breathy which is bringing so much atmosphere to that song and like magic we never got to hear a lot of her lower tones lower registry but somehow i will show the world [Music] there we go [Music] the word reflection is pretty difficult to belt because it has not many of like really open vowels that can like shine [Music] [Music] [Music] absolutely she's just such a fantastic technician when it comes to singing that even though the song is pretty fast paced and you don't get too much of a space to breathe in to develop the phrases you need to develop them well because there are so many places that you need to shine but at the same time she doesn't get that much time to prepare for that so basically this song is going on and on and on and on there are no bigger like pauses in there and she still gets to insert all the runs all the beautiful long notes developed into vibratos she has wonderful resonation in her voice the song is going from quite a low registration the song is going very often from a very low register to her higher belts and she's handling it fantastic i've never heard her sing in such a low and i really gotta say that her voice color over there is also extremely beautiful and they are very well done this is just bailed off that's my girl [Music] beautiful relaxed open damn [Music] damn oh my god she's just wonderful in this [Music] inside we're going to check the last tone again 100 also the switch to complete beautiful ending i don't know this is just her absolute strongest domain to shine in a songs like this where you need a lot of skill you need a lot of technical knowledge of your voice to be able to pull it this way she belts a lot i feel like in the second part of the song she was predominantly built in but i never feel with katrina that her builds are any in any way shape or form taxing or tiring her voice they are really so well done that she can just chain them one on top of another the way she drags them really beautifully long and then insert a heavy beautiful vibrato at the very end of the phrases and if we look at the very last tone that she hits it's so obvious how her whole throat is relaxed her mouth is wide open that tone is very well grasped the belt is just technically absolutely fantastic look at that [Music] [Music] also the beautiful contrast with the very end where she completely diffused it it was extremely breathy and beautiful very well done yeah the very end was just beautifully diffused subtle this was definitely very uh emotionally sing you can tell katrina is an emotional singer that's why i love her so much because not everything lies in technicalities and and being uh perfect in your technique but also at the delivery and there are so many singers they are technically fantastic but there's just something missing piece of a soul in that song and that's what she can deliver so well and just so believably so thank you so much for recommending this song i bought love mulan and katrina and this was just a perfect compilation of those two and i got to enjoy my name
