hey y'all and welcome to the sprinkle factory youtube channel where we cover everything culinary this is joe sprinkle and i'm back with another delicious recipe make sure you guys hit that subscribe button and join our sprinkle squad before we get started today i just want to show you that we will be using the justice sprinkle all-purpose seasoning perfect for everything today's recipe is going to be barely a tacos in consummate now these tacos might just be the most viral tacos ever on the internet right now i'm sure you guys have seen them so let's go ahead and make it simple the sprinkle factory way so this way you and your family can enjoy the first thing that we're going to start with which is very important guajiho chilis we're going to be making the foundation for the sauce which is also the foundation for the overall flavor profile you guys super easy the first thing that we are going to do is we are going to go ahead and um take the tops off the peppers and take the seeds and the veins out and then we are going to get to making the rest of the sauce so so just like that you guys once you're all done we are going to go ahead and cut a small yellow onion so we're going to cut it we're going to peel it we're also going to grab some garlic cloves as well which is also going to be part of the sauce we're going to go ahead and grab five of those um a very easy way to take the skin off of garlic cloves is to smash it smash it then the skin comes right off make sure you rinse your onions your garlic and your peppers and then we are going to go ahead and throw them in a pot or pan of water make sure everything is covered and add a chicken bouillon cube and a little bit of salt now what we're going to do is we're just going to boil this for about 20 minutes just to make sure that we're able to rehydrate the peppers and we'll come back to this in a second now go ahead and grab another half of onion and then we're also going to have four roma tomatoes we're going to go ahead and cut off the top part of the tomatoes where the stem is where it grows from the plant everything else is fine once we do this you guys grab a small can of the smoked chipotle peppers i did a little bit of research before turning the recipe into a sprinkle factory version i did not see chipotle peppers being used however i do think that it adds an amazing flavor profile to this it's super delicious and that's the best part about cooking you really can turn anything into what you want it to be go ahead and pull out your adjusted sprinkle all-purpose seasoning we're going to go ahead and add about a tablespoon and i will put all the measurements at the bottom of the screen for us um the next thing that we're going to do is we're going to go ahead and add some ground allspice super delicious dry oregano leaves you guys after your oregano leaves we're going to go ahead and grab us some smoky ground cumin we're going to add a little bit of that as well just about a teaspoon to do us um and then we're gonna go ahead and grab some dry cilantro now i did not see this in the traditional recipe um when i did my research however i do think that it lends a delicious flavor and then we're gonna add a cinnamon stick and we also have some dry time so as you can see this dish is filled with beautiful rich deep flavors and it is going to come together all so delicious so then of course just to make sure that we accentuate all of the delicious flavors we're going to add a little bit of salt and we're going to throw some bay leaves on there as well so once we get our seasoning all measured up go ahead and put that to the side and we're going to work on the beef now with the beef um i do have a chuck pot roast you guys i'm working with a little bit over two pounds um of meat not a huge huge pot roast um however it does make a lot of tacos so you'll be fine just want to get it cut up into smaller pieces so this way kind of cuts down on the thyme as far as cooking and we also want to make sure that we can throw these in the skillet with some hot oil serum develop some delicious flavor and then we're going to go ahead and start cooking them so once you have your pieces cut as so we are going to go ahead and season them up with just a sprinkle all-purpose seasoning the website link for all of the sprinkle factory seasonings is always in the description below you guys so you can click on that link it'll take you right to the website so we're going to do once we have everything nice and seasoned well coated in the all-purpose seasoning we're just going to go ahead and heat some oil about two tablespoons of olive oil in a pan but right now we're just going to go ahead and throw in the tomatoes into the pepper and garlic and onion liquid once we do that we are going to go ahead and add in a little more liquid just to kind of cover the tomatoes a bit bring that back up to a boil and we'll be good to go go ahead at this point you guys and sear off your meat just don't overcrowd your pan there's no real rules to this other than making sure that your meat has room to breathe so whenever you're searing something make sure you don't overcrowd the pan because then it'll start braising or it'll start steaming versus getting that nice crispy sear that you want so as you guys can see i'm just going to go ahead and turn my tomatoes no big deal and then we're going to allow them to cook for about five minutes and then we're going to go ahead and puree all this up so super simple y'all make sure you don't lose any of that delicious golden brown oil that's in the pan in your skillet take your meat and go ahead and drop it into a crock pot we're going to cook our meat in a crock pot the whole time so this way it'll be nice and tender and delicious the next thing that we want to do is we do want to go ahead and begin to puree our ingredients so we have our tomatoes going in we have also after the tomatoes we're going to put in the onions and the garlic now i know that you see that i cooked some of the onions and garlic but i left some of it fresh that's just so that you still get the sweet notes of the cooked onions and garlic but you also get that nice fresh crisp bite so make sure you use both guys it does make a huge difference so we're going to go ahead and puree all of this up we're going to add in our vinegar and lime juice and just put it right on top of the meat [Music] do [Music] do [Music] now as you guys can see what i am going to do is i am going to go ahead and strain the sauce just to get it nice and smooth get rid of all those seeds from the tomatoes and the skins from the chilies and the tomatoes and you end up with a nice delicious smooth sauce that goes right into the crock pot with your meat but i am also going to add some beef bouillon just to kind of concentrate that beef flavor trust me do not skip this step go ahead and add in all of your seasonings and then after we do this and add our sauce we're going to use some of that liquid that we boil the wahio chilies and we're just going to cover the meat so this way is completely submerged in the cooking process now for those of you who don't eat beef or don't eat red meat trust me i have you covered i wanted to try to make sure it was going to turn out delicious first um and it did so i would love to share with you so what i have here are two chicken breasts i kind of cut them smaller just like the beef and then i also seared them just like the beef i put the same sauce same seasonings on it you guys and it is d la okay it's super delicious so try that one out if you're not really a beef fan um however both are delicious so as you guys can see with the beef it does give off a lot of oils now some people trim the fat however i don't think that that's necessary it actually gives a lot of flavor and you can just skim the top when you're finished so go ahead and do this and then we're going to set up our station for pulling the beef [Music] now as you guys can see i put the beef back in the liquid i cooked it for an additional 20 minutes just to make sure it's super soaked in and then also uh skim the oil off of the consummate and then now we get to do the fun part the taco assembly there's no right right or wrong way to this y'all i have some uh white corn tortillas i have the fat that we skimmed off the top the oil so this way we're gonna fry the tortillas give them a delicious flavor um and then we're gonna also uh chop up some onions and some cilantro you guys that's gonna go in these tacos as well literally other than waiting on this so long because your house smells delicious easy that's the hardest part other than that you guys we're going to go ahead and make our tacos just as we want them we want to get the cheese nice and melty the tortilla is nice and crispy and we'll be ready to eat so and just like that y'all super simple we have made better your tacos super delicious make sure you scoop some of that broth which is your consummated bowl when you serve them you guys this is totally a crowd pleaser your family your friends everyone's gonna love it so delicious so juicy but of course sprinkle factory tradition let's slow it down with a slow-mo y'all super easy as with everything we do on this channel i love y'all so so so much thank you so much for
