stopped how did it know it was a very popular stream of mine i enjoyed it people like to watch it [Music] it was actually if i google yeah that's it's got a lot of views this spooky's jump scare mansion hd renovation from three years ago jesus that's a long time ago um if you don't know what this is it's kind of light-hearted but also kind of terrifying surprisingly terrifying and it's made by albino moose and i think [Music] i think it's good the hd renovation is very good if you haven't played it well it starts light-hearted uh but yeah there's the mansion there's the hospital and then now there's the new one spooky's doll house so that is what we'll be doing today this is brand new [Music] after this we'll check out hades i know some people would prefer if i played uh noita which i might instead of hades but i'm probably just going to do hades and then do noita 1.0 next week so [Music] anyway if you're ready if you have no idea what this game is just have fun just just look at it alright have you looked have you seen [Music] so i've forgotten a lot of lore i don't really remember how to you know like tell you what this game is because my memory is so [ __ ] garbage just extraction of spirit energy is necessary the energy can feel quite replenishing but please refrain from abuse as it negatively affects the ghosts in the event of husk rejection or injury gl labs is how you get husk rejection [Music] we've made progress but none of it has been ideal we've developed a system to summon and contain these spirits however we've yet to find a suitable container when the director first summoned his daughter back from the dead we were astonished but she didn't stay here long without something proper to tether the spirits back to the earth they simply fade away we tried simple jars vases and the like at first but these containers limited the functions of the spirits we've had minor success using humanoid vessels but the spirits are still tied to the physical damage of the containers and are thus too fragile spoopies the uh the painting from in the mouth of madness from the the hotel so that movie vinnie did you press apply for motion blur yeah this is an effect for when you you were right you were right chat member you were right you saved the day [Music] oh no it's not really in tune picked up the west wind key or wing nope [Music] whoa okay um well quick review of the movie in the mouth of madness it is a pretty damn good movie not great but pretty damn good sam neil is excellent in the movie it's a john carpenter movie from 1994 slight cosmic horror well more than slight um and it's very meta and weird about an author who writes a book that influences reality and everyone goes crazy sells a billion copies etc etc anyway review covered it jay and i forget who else covered it but it's it's pretty good it's it's definitely a good spoopy halloween movie that i would recommend um [Music] spooky babies please oh [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] throw the doll at the babies wonder how i can read that when the babies are following me oh god i uh yeah but the the movie is definitely it's got a little crust and it's a little convoluted at times i think but um it's john carpenter and you get a lot of his trademarks including the sick soundtrack but i god i really enjoyed watching it so i'm gonna go ahead and re-recommend that [Music] stronger spirits the dolls that we use to hold them keep stretching out and breaking and then we have to summon the spirit all over again theoretically the size of the vessel shouldn't matter but it seemed totally freaked out around the clown i requested the document on how it was found and apparently they tried to summon a happy human ghost but instead got something else it looks human it acts human but just to be safe we installed a cage just what did they summon i haven't told anyone yet but i think this place is haunted they were like the strange moaning sounds all the time like a moan but also a whoa you know so woning and there was this painting that i kept staring at that i think was changing damn it i couldn't even hark scare you what the [ __ ] oh [ __ ] it good timing on that glued to them tear it off yet seems like a good idea no it's fine probably a good idea chad don't worry about it i think it's yeah this way there's the broken doors and stuff there's the pinwheel design some sort of strange sculpture i can't put the pinwheel in there yet i need another piece spirits get so temperamental we keep having to perform rituals to keep them in check when they act out it's necessary to inflict pressure on the husk inhabited by the spirit don't forget that these dolls are not real people i mean they were at some point they were real people spirits there were real people i don't believe this dlc is in the 2d version chat member so if this was the 2d version i wouldn't be able to play any of this stuff this is a brand new scenario it is oh then he go down the until that is there more stuff i should be doing in the labs over this way this is different there's a candle missing the kyra genesis is just about fried we've summoned far too many spirits for it to handle even returning them might collapse the gate so i moved three of the ritual candles into the root cellar that should deter anymore summoning for now spooky will probably order someone to go get enjoyed the original too a surprising amount of lore and uh horror for a game that starts out as like a cute little like when i first played the 2d version and kira too thank you kira um it's it's funny it's just funny to me like when i first played it i was like oh it's a joke game because it's making fun of jump scares and like little cardboard cutouts come out of the wall also big big applause for josh for voicing the clown um but yeah no it really it did a good job at what it was and it um ended up being even though again i played the original uh the hd version rather a couple
