[Music] so welcome to the stream [Music] technical difficulties no ticket before I begin the corruptions and the other stuff I'd like to at least tell you what the hell's going on this was a weird this was a weird one okay so here's what was going on okay there's a thing called mega city it's a giant [ __ ] city that you can fly around in in unity and I downloaded it it's about seven gigs and it's really really impressive looking and it looks like Blade Runner and so hang on a second mega city game so I download it I'm about to play it and it doesn't work because I have to compile it so I download unity I make an account doesn't work the compilation starts slowing down my computer I can't cancel it so there's not a pre compiled version this is a little preview of it and I thought it would be kind of cool to fly around the city I couldn't find a pre compiled version I didn't know there was no pre compiled a compiled version anyway so as cool as this looks this will have to be done at another time if ever because it was like taking 15 minutes to compile and it wasn't even halfway done so that sucks it looked cool I guess I should have known I never really had to do that before I was like oh oh I have to do this just a couple minutes before the stream - well at the very least I can bring you some corruptions I would like to welcome you to the Easter stream oh wait no it's no longer Easter where I'm at and I have nothing Easter related for you I also would like to say happy 30th birthday to the Game Boy oh wait I have nothing related to Game Boy today so that sucks but I do have this apparently [Music] all right well if you're here here's what we can do we can do some corruptions so we're doing corruptions a little early because I have so many of them I have a lot of good ones and there's a new corruption tool that nari is working on it's in beta mode but it's definitely coming along it looks good I'll explain well I say early not early as in like 1218 a.m. I mean like I usually do corruptions once a month because I feel like corruptions too much spoils them a bit but the level of quality that we've been getting lately has been very high and considering I have so many we could double dip twice in one month true story final fantasy seven corruptions was last year now I didn't say doodle dip I said double dip [Music] all right let's begin well let us get started first I want to say that we have a new tool called real-time corruptor Vanguard which corrupts GameCube games in real time this is the first time this has ever happened it's gonna be buggy but it'll be it'll be cool but first we're gonna do some pre-made GameCube corruptions from brand one-seven-five I think I think some of these will be very to your liking especially considering some of these games we haven't seen brand has done a lot of GameCube corruptions let me just get the saves ready and we can do Resident Evil 4 for example you see if this works does this count as working I think it counts may have some resolution issues but I'll resolve those later but they die what's a fun oh dude stop that's not cool who am i what am i who am i okay why am i double people if I might both Ashley and Leon oh no wait a minute wait am i but this is really early on in the game so why would there be more than Ashley on so already I'm confused it didn't take very long for that to happen Leon kicking more ass than ever before other game does not like that the name of this corruption is Squidward uses his imagination to play re4 but what was that good word have to do with this [Music] the box don't shoot turn off free look alright this is in the dreaded night pistol Leon you know the Resident Evil series really jump the shark when Leon told the president you know I would really like a knife that shoots bullets we'll get our finest top men on it Leon boom not that way cowboy yes that way not that way cowboy whoa menthol shooting this is the Leone for the job this is called 3d side-scroller holy [ __ ] how did you corrupt the game into side-scroller mode totally unplayable by the way at least for precise aiming I asked the dreaded window but it works I mean it's just okay so let me rephrase that it's infeasible but it works well enough okay never mind you think that back do it Leon believe in you Leon Leon a little extra wide excuse me sir sir you seem to have a large everything okay what language is this local I had no choice but which language are you speaking to leather surrounding the area get out of there and head toward the river all right Klingon I guess definitely definitely enjoyed most of those corruptions some were a little bit samey but I mean the amount of effort it takes to get good corruptions I have to say I am extremely thankful that people go through the effort to make these and again the reason I'm doing corruption so soon from last time I did them is because I have so many of them and you have no idea how much I appreciate nary an ear clues are but specifically nary at the moment for helping me on a one-on-one level with the corruptions and also for continuing to develop RTC and to you know make the corruptions what they are today including this GameCube stuff that you see which wouldn't have been possible without him Erik Lazar for the RTC everyone that submits corruptions you have no idea how grateful I am to you for making these segments happen because they bring people a lot of happiness myself included and thank you all right that's important you guys need to know that because it's not just me people just associate me with corruptions I'm a charlatan I don't do very many corruptions except what you're about to see now there's a new version of the RTC called the RTC Vanguard real-time corruptor Vanguard and this thing I've been playing with it a little bit and it's still in prototype form so there's not a ton that I you know I don't think it's gonna work perfectly there's gonna be some fuck-ups but it's a breakthrough in GameCube corruptions using the real-time corruptor and essentially what this does is it will corrupt GameCube games in the same way that it corrupts n64 games Super Nintendo games so what you saw from the GameCube corruptions was not what this is this is different shift F keys okay so I have some notes on how to do this anyway this is the logo for it okay this is gonna be a little bit different of a segment and I need I need just a second to get everything all straightened out okay so let me get the games loaded in and we're gonna try some different games okay games are loaded in and we could start with what will be a good starting place Kirby you Kirby's Return to Dreamland which I'll be using a wiimote for actually the Wii game which again 2 GameCubes duct-taped together but anyway so again I can use these tools to corrupt the game but I also need to hold the Wiimote sideways which is a very difficult task I hope you don't mind might take me a second here controllers real okay real Wiimote here we go got it [Music] by the way this game looks beautiful for a Wii game you know all you have to do is upscale the resolution and it looks [ __ ] great but ok so I'm gonna start by giving the title screen some manual blasts and see how that works now that didn't work I remember the stinkbug incident I remember the music for the stinkbug incident [Music] well the corruptions worked oh I need game caride I know what I did wrong game protection you okay got a 100% save file let's go yeah let's go here let's just check out a couple things always use protection looking for corruptions I mean again this is a prototype so it's not even close to stable I mean well it seems stable enough but it's not it's not bonded but this is a nice this is like almost Holy corruptor Vanguard again it's cool it could be used again in the future but I'm going to go back to stockpiles for for the night again it's prototype and it works and I think it's just gonna get better but we need to uh we need to do some other stuff I'm going to use the Italian stallion pack now and see what happens there
