host me Victor Martinez esan farahi Vlad Udin and edwi Mahia back welcome we're back we're going to start off with the question of the day yes sir so we're back here for the another week shout out to everybody coming on to the comment section sending sending Vic those crazy questions which we're still going to answer even though they're crazy um this week's winner we have here is King HZ 4884 people got the craziest uh always and uh their question is how much muscle with low body fat did you Vic gain naturally before you started heavily competing as a pro well going back way back I think uh I remember weighing myself I was weighing about 145 wow 140 that's how much you weigh it's hard to imagine you that weigh that's crazy yeah yeah light light you know I think the heavy is 150 in high school and uh I still remember going into the gym weighing myself and a year later I was uh benching was it a year no I was I was 19 yeah coming out of high school yeah I I was already I think I competed at 19 at75 175 bodybuilding yeah so that's you know pretty significant game yeah definitely and then with the rebound I got up to at least 190 you was natural yes natural competed um so it it's one of those things that you want to gain a natural because you get to keep a lot of it you know most people that just you know right away go over to the uh you know taking pharmaceutical or anything like that it is one of those things that you're always going to depend on that you're always not you're never going to have that good solid muscle and you know a lot of guys can agree if you have a great base you're always going to be you know great in bodybuilding especially if you start enhancing later on and I would assume that that would also help athletes or bodybuilders in general when they're like let's say at the height of their career let's say in like you know with Peds a big plus because once they come off the Peds I've seen the effect with a lot of people you're Crash and Burn Crash and Burn yeah Crash and Burn most people that's why it's not just oh I'm going to take it for 15 20 years I'm going to just stop unfortunately it's a lot of you know negative things happen you know so I have a question I I've seen a video online circulating bodybuilders at the peak of their career and then after retirement I'm not going to say names but some big names on that list and it looks like wow after they retired they had like no muscle definition not even like big wise but no muscle definition you have to get the transition those are big names though V those are really big names I'm not going to say a name I don't want to offend anybody I can tell you my experience I mean when I've seen Robbie Robinson at his age right now there's nobody that comes close to him no nobody and again he I can say that wholeheartedly nobody in bodybuilding at his age will the way he does this guy looks amazing I agree with you I know guys half his age that bodybuild for 10 years stopped they're half his age right now and and and they're falling apart and that's That's genetics to me wait so you telling me the guys the guys that look the opposite of Robbie Robinson right you telling me they they had no bass that's why they look like that well no Bas and they also rely so much on the drug right you know and and they don't find you know they didn't have a love for it I mean to do it as long as Robie Robinson is you got to really love it that's not for everyone you know you you can't do it for you know girls you can't do it just because you need a more confidence you really got to really be into it because you're passionate about it you love it and and this is how you define your life I me if you see if I if I would to get some if you could just use someone like Robbie Robinson to embarrass people normal dayto day like at his age it's quite embarrassing no like this guy the way he looks at his age is crazy the thing when when you're young and you're using the steroid your muscle get very very strong but your joint your ligament and your fundamental your body is not get that strong you start to lifting heavy and heavy and heavy but they catch you after that because you don't have a fun it's like you're building a building without a good base Foundation Foundation the video I'm referring to those guys are top level competitors at the Olympia so I'm sure they were taken seriously yeah no they're taking seriously but always find you know one of the methods I always use is slow down never really stop so if you're training for body you know as a pro or you're in a top amateur level and you didn't become a pro but now you need to maintain yourself life after bodybuilding slow down don't do the six days a week or you can't do the six days a week do the three days but continue doing it the worst thing you can do is just stop cold turkey training supplementation you know now there's trt and all that stuff so there's different ways to at least continue training not carry the mass you had when you were at your Peak but you to look decent man and healthy yeah the key you have to continue you don't I mean if you stop you can't come back anything you do at extreme I mean obviously we not talking about you know boxing or wrestling or anything like that but uh just do a little bit just do a little bit you know find a different method you know find a question for you are you still working heavy or you change your method heavy enough I mean my light is still most people's heavy but I'm not you know here compar compared to 10 years 15 years ago I'm not asking for a spot I'm not doing no crazy lifts you know but 10 to 15 years come on can't nowhere near that I'm not doing nowhere near that weight right now R getting injured and that's not what you want to get involved in right now you want to get injured cuz you get injured anytime you know after 40 50 it'll set you back it's a long set back yeah know one of the topics today we actually maybe should seg go into it but like overcoming the fear of a heavy lift you know like it's a great feeling to overcome it or to feel like no no to feel that to feel that to overcome it you just have to let go you know guys you have to let go I mean I know you want to look like in your 30s or 20s you want to feel like that but you don't have to do those things you know you can feel looked at way but you don't have to do those things you know it's like me and the other the other day I was like you know my highest bench without any spot is like 205 210 or something like that I still did it the other day and this is after not working out for but it is a high that you get it it is is a high you know endorphins whatever but uh you're not going to do certain things you know like all of a sudden you never CrossFit and you want to start jumping on top of a box you start doing explosive movements something's going to happen right you know something's going to happen I mean my friends do jiujitsu you know I never really done it wish I had it's great but I'm not going to start you know doing Jiu-Jitsu start pulling muscles freaking a man I'm dislocate my shoulder you know I mean there's a different way of jiu-jitsu instructor might teach you that's going to find a different ways but you're not going to go all out and train like them they're already conditioned to train that way so Jiu-Jitsu person that's been doing it for 20 years they can do it but at a you know sure lower Pace you know and and again you know this is anybody can argue this but when it comes to weightlifting you got to simmer down sometime or another because again you get those micro tears eventually they'll catch up to you seen this video of a guy filming himself uh benching and I guess he couldn't get he was doing reps and he couldn't get the last one on so the the bar dropped on his on his throat and he had the what do you call it the clips on the sides it was actually not funny but yeah but that that was his fault for lifting was he lifting to R&B I don't know I think he almost broke his neck but that that video was very bad I know exactly it took him like a minute to get out of the was like Yeah there a method you know just leave it on your chest you can't go up and just go sideways that's it it was it was on his neck though like on his throat yeah yeah they come down for the bar comes to his neck he couldn't move see that guy needs to have you know a wake in the bench if he gets killed that way you know but you know when you're young when you're young at the gym you don't think your your power your no it feels good it feels good I mean it's it's just a good feeling you're young young joints imagine the funeral guy put a bar yeah yeah there you go same bench same Arnold not Arnold uh Sylvester Stone he made some kind of a comment saying if you want to be successful as an athlete you have to be like a race horse eat the same [ __ ] every day basically don't care about the taste but you eat for function I agree that's how I eat but you like pizza that's about it but it's it's a it's just a you know a thing I do to break up the whole monotony of always eating chicken and steak and rice eat clean all the time like generally speaking like what that we like seasoned food we like seasonings you like I mean that means like what like you know you're eating not too much seasoning I don't put no sauses no salt most of the time you know that's about it wow no salt yeah yeah got to have salt just salt got to have salt you got to have salt you're going to start you know cramping and deflating you got to have the salt you know so you eat for function primarily yeah that's I eat enough I eat you know basically to function feel good I don't want to have to go to the gym and do more cardio than what I have to or train more than what I have to so why would I sabotage myself how many times a day do you eat right now Vic three four Max three four Max are those small three four Max and that's if the day is longer is that way you take pepperoni off your pizza is that for that reason you don't want to have too much pepperoni because I want to enjoy my pizza well the pepperoni just SWS too much a peeron it's for function because it's it's it's not good for you well it's there you know if I eat so much sodium then what I'm already intaking now it starts making you sluggish so you're always thinking about these things it's I know the way I feel and I don't want to feel that it's kind of like you feel like that whole itis kicks in and you just you know when the bodybuilder come to level of the Victor Martinez H it bodybuilder that comes to level of the him Victor Martinez they are not thinking anymore conscious comes to his brain okay if I I eat this i p calor they calculate like this as a second in his mind you know and he knows all his day okay I eat that they calculating for himself you can manage it and and Victor is one of the person from Old School old bodybuilder holding this type very very good yeah unless you travel amazing no but unless you travel some countries I cannot eat their food yeah so I either eat in the hotel or I eat pizza it's like the safest thing to eat I'm not going to eat you know so you get no craving I want um cravings for pizza Just Pizza actually Kentucky new Kentucky cuz my sister used to work Kentucky back in the J C has actually had KFC for the first time supposedly oh did you see that video yeah but he didn't have the original he was eating some freaking he gave it four to 10 sandwiches that have just started about a couple of years ago he wasn't eating original KFC you got to getar original man they showed a video from him in the in the N 2000s and he was like I don't crave KFC cuz I never had it in my life so he was eating clean yeah you know what I'm might have to order a bucket tonight man we talking about order a bucket yeah and plus he didn't get a bucket how you going to go to you know KFC and I get a bucket got to get a bucket of chicken man and I have to add the genetics genetics is very involved for the eating too you know some person they eat anything they are not get gain or fat you know it's crazy you balance acph people you know but if you balance it out if you you're going to eat Kentucky you know obviously you're not going to eat pizza the same day you know unless you or big fat lasagna you know the same day it's kind of like I mean well you know do that cardio that question okay egg whites or hard World eggs for you in the morning egg whites Popeyes or KFC oh man KFC man I mean it depends I mean which is closer to it depends where I'm at Pizza Hut or Little Caesars neither pizzas Wendy's on McDonald's Wendy's on McDonald's I don't think I'll do either yeah but if I'm going eat uh I I think Wendy takes a little bit more time on the burgers it seems that way seems that way yeah yeah I mean they're less Frozen but uh yeah definitely what is if it's again all of those places those are postwork I read somewhere you remember Burger King I don't know if it's for real but I heard that remember the Burger King they had like U charcoal like grill marks on a on a on a patties I heard they were drawn I'm still gagging at Burger King since I was 12 it's nasty the grill marks were actually drawn on thing those are not real gr terrible it's it's not that to get those marks on a beef patty to be honest because I I know exactly you know you know the all fast food you know all fast food in Dubai the tastes completely different better much better you know why more real no because they use more restrictions as a real first is real because they using the Halal the Halal chicken halal meat so if you eat KFC in Dubai or actually Germany was the best uh McDonald's ever had yeah was it really yeah yeah when then you come here where everything is processed you know you can't even eat CIO anymore they have pesticides and all that everything's processed so a lot of things here we get a lot of green too a very Green Country government is killing us and we don't even know we just think oh we just better this is better like but you're dying you're dying which is cool you know isn't that isn't that where more government control is better because they can control these things whereas in capitalist Society you know what I mean if it's cheaper to make preservatives then you go education people people not educated people is not educated enough well if you have no options if you go to the stores everything you you can you can't have you can't come on they were having not too long ago they were having that green what is it that slime on Burgers what was that it was a slime they just took that out maybe what 12 years ago W secet sauce 15 years ago it's a slime to give the you know the the burger meat more volume and people were eating that for well over 30 40 years and then rtis chickens to to inject them with some kind of solution it's all right that's what I'm saying everybody juices one way or another everybody Cho now another Point uh Vic that came up is you know people are asking like you know what really does it take you in terms of getting a really good workout and and also does it mean that if you don't finish your workout and you feel nauseous or throw up does it mean that you didn't have a good workout um have you ever been in a situation in a gym of course that you you felt nauseous and you want to throw up and is does that does that actually mean that you've had a great workout if you trained hard enough but if you just walked in the gym you threw up no no no not like that you have E coli it's like a like a no no if I see training legs hard like I had you know I trained a few people and pushed hard and the intensity and all that to a point that towards the end you want to puke that's a real workout you know especially on leg days yeah but usually I I hate puking because you don't want to lose the extra calories you know you get all deflated you get jaice and then it's kind of like damn man you and some person can can throw you know it's yeah yeah but usually a good hard worker and intense workout and you do throw up it it has happened to the best of us but dizziness is very normal every well dizziness is not you don't have the breathing and and I remember when we filming generation 9 one we were filming a workout with was Dennis wolf Dennis James was training him and there was some two guys training with him in Vegas and they were doing legs and one guy ran to to throw up in the middle of not Dennis wolf but another the guy that was training with him R to throw up in the bathroom Y and also when we filming with Dennis um D Dorian Yates uh he was training some guy and that guy also threw up yeah again those are real workouts it's not throwing up because he had too much pre-workout yeah right you know it's like some people can film that you know you think like wow it must have trained hard but reality before workout you know it was just a pre-workout that's it a bad pre-workout they they had or too much of it so I don't think we seeing a lot of puking because of hard workouts we see a lot actually now I think about it we filmed a lot of throwups in the gym I remember when we filming in Canada with ran Grimes and his training partner threw up again it's happen well usually when you try to keep up with somebody who's Superior with you know than you in the weight room usually the person who's not tends to throw up you know so it does happen it's usually legs right train legs back you know for back throw up yeah really back to I never saw back B over Rose deadlies you know dead 20 reps with 405 on the bucket on the Box come on the bucket see see have you seen a lot of people throwing up in the gym um I mean over the years yeah I mean I think at least in every Hardcore gym I trained in yes had Johnny lats uh Steel gym uh have you seen Kai can you SE have you ever seen Kai throw up in in jimy lad's gym Kai throw up no I don't think Kai throws his food away like that that easy Kai would not throw up I mean has he I wouldn't doubt if if he has because he would eat freaking so much D food but uh no I have not seen him it's crazy what else we got today guys protein shakes or protein bars shakes shakes protein bars body don't eat protein bars right why is that I mean there's a lot of there's some things in it like preservatives or something always have sckers you know you you feel your stomach full know why you f it with the bar I mean I remember I used to drive with them in the car just in case just in case you get I mean prot bars are good I mean they come in handy when you're really hungry or something they moving fast but I think the problem with the protein bars just the alcohol sugar it's just to make it there's too there's just too many protein bars out in the market where they're ingredients are just not good enough what's alcohol sugar exactly what does that mean I've seen it on almost every protein bar has that right what is it exactly it's just that Sugar you don't really want to injust it's that real sweet sugar that your body will not process as fast you know not good for either you want brown sugar I mean you I mean is it derived from uh Lin or whatever all that other stuff they put all the other binders they put in the in the bars again I mean alcohol sugar you process that it's doesn't sound it doesn't sound good I mean alcohol sugar what do you think alcohol sugar is poison all right just a little it's just a little it's not bad again if if you're not eating if you're not eating 10 bars you're fine if you eat one it's not bad but it's bars are just the destroy your liver that's a problem sugar the sugar and the alcohol it go sit on the liver that's that's the problem they I mean they destroy just the liver and you if you dram too much the damage get too much yeah thank you for
