hey guys okay vermeer stump cutter 252 and this is the left side of the machine so if you were sitting on it riding like a horse your left hand well whatever your controls are so uh we're gonna start like that and uh let's get her done we're gonna get to show you how to get the vermeer upgrade with no money absolutely down all you do is take things off and i'll show you exactly how to do it okay guys it's russell's take here i'm going to show you now how to make your machine an sc 252 stump cutter this is the left side so if you were standing riding it like a horse it'd be the your left left arm left side and uh we're going to go counter-clockwise because that's why i have marked it today and i'm going to show you how to get the updated version of grinding with only six teeth and three pockets okay it's kind of interesting uh and it really works good keeps the revs up in between all those teeth aren't necessary okay i'm going to show you here we go okay guys what's up here we go okay so for purposes this hole here number a is where you put your bolt through when you're tightening or loosening pockets okay so that's a okay like uh a's here and i'm going to show you b that's the other hole where you put your bolt through to tighten and loosen pockets and you can tell because there's no bolt there's no hole beside it to take a pocket right so that's how we're going to start up here with the first hole i've marked it a okay all right okay so that's a now again this is b your other hole because again it's alone there's no way you can get a pocket on there right except you see here you can put a pocket there yes lovely okay so for purposes of orientation we're gonna start with a here that's the hole again to lock your wheel we're gonna go to pocket number one if you want to get a pen it's a good thing pocket one stays now again when you've got pocket two and three you've got uh a left and right then you've got the middle pocket with two straight teeth and number three has a left and right we understand that so you know where we're oriented because with the stump cutter we've got one two three teeth on the other side we have one two three sorry pockets one two three pockets all right so we know that we're here with the hole all right for the locking the wheel now we're going to mark that number one pocket number one pocket stays excuse me two minutes too many cigarettes number two pocket remove number three pocket remove going counterclockwise number four pocket keep it now here we are at uh b this is the other hole which is by itself it's not that difficult guys just watch it again and i figured this out i i i drove myself crazy but i got her done all right now that's your second hole b for locking and again we marked the pocket four we'll go over this again now pocket five remove bucket six remove bucket seven leave it pocket eight remove and then we're back to eight all right so we're gonna go back up here again and there's our pocket that's our locking bolt because obviously again you can see that here where number eight is it's very close so you can put a pocket on here it's by itself because it's you know you put your bolt through to lock the wheel so let's line that up again excuse me again all right pocket a is there right or not pocket sorry hole number a where your lock is there pocket number one stays over here you have pocket two with two straight teeth remove it pocket three you have a left and a right remove it pocket four stays there's hole b which is the other locking uh wheel locking where you put the bolt through pocket five remove it pocket six remove it pocket seven stays now i think i probably might have gone to pocket eight but pocket eight remove it now we'll go back up and do that again okay it seems complex but it's not okay all right there's a locking bolt we're gonna go counterclockwise towards the machine uh i'm on the left side of the machine with all my controls sc252 stub cutter now pocket one again if you have a pen or look at the video again pocket one stays left and right tooth pocket two has two straight teeth remove it pocket three left and right teeth remove it pocket four stays there's the other hole b yeah my b looks pretty screwed up ah what are you gonna do all right so that's the second hole to lock now pocket five remove it pocket six remove it pocket seven keep it pocket eight remove it now i'm just gonna go back here for telling you which pockets to keep okay you keep pocket one you keep pocket four and you keep pocket seven that's how the wheel is just gonna stay and be balanced and again now this is really great because you've only got six teeth six teeth 60 to buy 16 to keep it spare six teeth is sharp and 60 throw at your wife whatever you want to do all right let's uh do it one more time let's go back to a now remember a is the locking one that's why i want to start that way so you'll know if you orientate number a or sorry letter a you put your bolt through there to lock it now pocket one stays pocket two gone pocket three gone that's where three pockets are in a row pocket four stays b is the other hole that you use to lock the wheel now pocket five remove pocket six remove pocket seven stays pocket eight remove okay great now there's one other thing and you'll be juice happier than a pig and poo poo ready to grind now we're gonna go uh clockwise now because i'm going to show you because there's a left and right teeth on number one but what we want to do on the pocket coming down which is seven we want two straights and then as you're eating again you have a left and a right so really what's going on is left and right chew and here we got a left and right chew but then we've got a straight so either way you've always got a straight and a left and right chew well actually here we've got a left and right shoe again but the there's no way you can do that so again uh there's a where your locking bolt is pocket number one left and right teeth okay pocket number two nothing pocket number three gone plucker number four stays but pocket number four is where you put sorry pocket number four stays then we've got b again yeah this is getting complex i know when i did it it screwed me up a little bit so here we'll just do it again all right so there's a lock your wheel pocket one two three so keep pocket one remove two remove three keep pocket four there's your b hole where your locks remove pocket five and six keep seven remove eight now all you gotta do really is uh uh see i've got two straight here so when i'm chewing it's in the middle there's gonna be two left and right chewing again two left and right is chewing but it doesn't really matter because now you're gonna get two straights chewing so two straights chewing two left and right chewing two left and right chewing too straight chewing so that's the way that's really it's cool when you're watching eat you've got two left and right eating the stump then the center teeth and these are kind of dull but uh buy yourself new teeth six teeth are great all right one more time or not should i bore you again okay that's the locking one you keep pocket one pocket two you remove pocket three you remove pocket four you keep that's the b hole the other locking hole pocket five you remove pocket six you remove pocket seven you keep uh pocket eight you remove and uh there we go and again if you're going this way it doesn't matter if you've got you've got uh left and right chewer then you bring in two straights then they got a left and right shoulder and another left and right shoulder and then a straight so let me know guys if this worked out for you because it works out for me great it's six teeth it's sad it's not madness it's pretty cool actually so there you go i hope this helped you out and you don't have to spend any money all you have to do is uh say it sounds complex but i don't know watch it again guys i hope everything's good happy stumping
