foreign welcome to this flight there's a vatsum event on tonight um at Birmingham airport in the UK and so it's very busy if you look here you can see all these red aircrafts swarming around heading for Birmingham so I'm going to take the a2a simulations piper Comanche from toaster which I've just downloaded a freeware mod off I'm going to head over to Silverstone then head up to the dracoat water vrp where hopefully I'll get some entry clearance to um land of Birmingham so it's quite exciting a bit intimidating as well I'll put full ATC of course on this video right so here we are in the aircraft Let's uh we'll do the whole thing from scratch so let's do a walk around first okay stop right uh flaps are up there let's just wiggle the hey everyone that looks good to me script here check the fuel in here that looks lovely happy with that uh let's drain this okay nothing clear so that's good light looks in good condition tie down is untied look in this fuel tank this main tank and yeah it looks great uh chocks are removed train in this tank oops here we go oh okay that was not doing anything so we'll just carry on propeller looks in good condition let's check the oil level so oh just under so it's got a passive 12 it's just under nine but the color looks okay I think I'm happy with that for now I might have to replace it uh or do an oil change or oil top up soon check in here the Spain tank and yeah see a bit of fuel in there I was that chocks are away tie down is untied that light looks blendiferous check this in this tip tank wonderful uh sump this one [Music] not too checklist now so pre-flight is complete we've just done that passengers are briefed these are the passengers today a bit gormless but anyway seat belts are secure control locks removed parking brake is set and the gear switch is not down so let's move that down there we go flaps are however up the radios are not off switched them off with the avionics Master there all electrical switches are off um okay and rotating Beacon is there right okay circuit breakers are all in nicely and now we get the rotating beacon on just starch checklist so fuel selection we need on side tank it's set to both that's fine okay mixture is full Rich throttle I'll crack that open to about here properly versatile forwards carpet is off now get master switch on okay now we'll put the fuel pump on and we should see the fuel pressure Rising and it is not doing that so I am a bit concerned about that so fuel pressure is not working so Let's uh but if your pump is off let's do some priming we may not be able to get this engine started I might need to do a bit of maintenance okay mags they're already on both okay prop area is clear grab drop uh let's try the starter okay I know why I know what the problem is we have no fuel so add some fuel now that's very very bad right why did I not notice that okay that's good that was a really bad mistake yeah it's weird though because I didn't drain the oh yeah I don't know why that happened anyway right so oil pressure is fine mixture is fine right now Studio taxi check so primer is locked avionics Master can now come on amateur yep happy with that radios are on I'm just now tune into advanced Sim let's connect here and looking back at my route I'm going from egbt to egbb so let's uh put this in egbb egbt no other way around departure time will be 18.50 time on Route well it's probably like 15 minutes we'll say I'll be going at 1500 feet via far via Dre coat water vrp so now file that flight plan and they'll be receiving that thinking oh no VFR
