Use Custom Icons for your Power Apps #shorts #powerapps

to get these icons to show up in your powerapps mobile app what you're going to need to do is configure your power app settings to do that we'll switch over to our maker portal so how do we add one well so let's add it for field validation by clicking on the ellipses over here and saying and so after a few seconds regarding the maker portal which we're going to do is go over here and click on settings and so the app icon so you can either hit the drop down here and choose from another 100 or so different icons looks like a save button just like that then you could also change the background fill and choose this lovely little lavender color or if you know the hexadecimal color you can also set the icon fills that's the way we've always thought of doing it but you can say add image now if we hover over here you can see recommended image size and accepted file formats we say add image now we can browse our PC and then say open I chose a PNG that had a transparent background and that's why it shows the purple through if you didn't want to see the purple in that case you would just change it to White so you can use your company logo or something that represents the app if you do use your company logo then add text make it different you don't want to have 40 apps all with your company logo and there you go now you know how
