Urkai European Bikes: The general features of Dutch bicycles.

hello this is Andrew from yurai and today we're just going to go over some of the features you'll find on many of our Dutch bikes so the one before me here is the Oma Feats luxury by Azor and it is um in aluminum so what you'll see on this bike you'll immediately notice obviously is you've got the fully enclosed chain case so that's on both sides so it keeps the chain nice and clean as well as you nice and clean and the other thing that you'll that is very unique about this bike you'll notice is the double leg stand so the double leg stand is really really handy for both if you're doing child Transportation or just loading your cargo because that way the bike will not tip over as you can see it's rock solid I can even uh sit on the rear carrier essentially and it's going to hold me um and we use these a lot for child transportation for our quibble seats that slide on and slide off so those are the only kind of these are the only carriers here that can support that weight the other thing you'll notice again for for cargo transport is these frame fix front carriers and this is unique to the Azor B iyes so you'll notice when I turn the wheel it doesn't move and what that does is the weight on the front carrier actually goes into the bike and it doesn't make your front tire feel wobbly so you can carry up to like 55 lbs on here and still maintain the performance of your bike so the other thing these Bike Cycles have and most of our Dutch bikes have is these rear wheel locks so basically how that works is that you turn the key and pull the lever through and that basically immobilizes your bike this one also has what I called a plug-in lock which is another lock which attaches to the same one and you can lassue that around a post very easily and that way you have one key with two locks and that is by far the most secure way of locking up your bike all of our bikes also have internal Hub shifting so what that means is the all of the gears are in the hub like the transmission of a car and that means you can shift when you're stopped and when you're going and that also gives you a huge range in terms of gearing options so an 8-speed will actually give you about 38% range so that is it's 38% harder from your first to your highest gear which is is quite incredible in a compact system uh the other thing on the bikes you'll notice is you have a very very high quality paint finish and that's a zinc primer for anti- rust and then two layers of very very tough powder coat every all the components are stainless steel or aluminum again that's for anti-rust and the ability for you to actually leave your bike Outdoors the I find personally myself that if the bike's outside in the driveway ready to go it's a lot easier to hop on and get it get on it then you know pulling it out from somewhere the other thing these bicycles have is hubam powered lighting so basically as soon as you start turning that front wheel both your front and rear light will come on so you're very visible both during the day and at night so if you want to find out more about these bikes either email us or come in or better yet come in for a test ride and be inspired to ride a real Dutch bike
