Upgrading My Army To UNSTOPPABLE LEVELS To Win!

i know i know it's pretty simple our wall is basically just a fence used to not even keep sheep inside i i don't know what it is you could hop over it go under it anyway but rome wasn't built in a day or so they said i wasn't there okay so no one invited me and i guess it did happen a while ago but the enemy the barbarians while they're at the gates although if you look at my soldiers it looks like this is actually a clone wars don't you think but that's fine because while we have a bunch of little dudes in tunics using long kitchen knives to defend the city of rome we can upgrade our men we do have an archer to defend the walls walls in loose quotations oh my god they've got horses oh wow horses die super easy to children with kitchen knives who would have thought and we got to upgrade our walls please make them look okay look at that we can actually keep sheep inside of our base now i don't think we're gonna be fighting any war elephants so we want small arrows see here we go this is rome and uh while it wasn't built in a day maybe we can attack the enemy army look they too have a really really stupid wall let's invade them so a little bit of attack and a little bit of defense they have biden so they would make hades proud but i mean we're romans not greeks so who's the roman god of the underworld uranus huzzah roma victor as uh marcus aurelius general the phoenix allegiance servant to the true emperor marcus aurelius fathered her murdered son husband to a murdered wife and he was gonna have his vengeance in this life or the next let's build a farm so here we go the beautiful city of rome and eventually we're gonna take over the known world now i've got the little roman style scorpion and actually a decent looking army now on top of that like any true good general i can yell at my soldiers from way behind my defensive walls and have them fight and die for me but we've survived almost 10 waves already so the best defense is a strong offense towers towers bra i do want to upgrade my peasant swordsmen to get them beyond just peasants but proper roman legionnaires we're still peasants no advantages no weaknesses i feel like having no advantages is actually a weakness every 10 waves you'll have to face a well-organized army okay harder than simpler hordes well i was barely holding on against them so this uh well you you're harder than that there's three of them now three dudes with the biden they they don't even have a trident oh wow that that actually that's a decent amount of soldiers okay we will defend at our walls let me yell at my soldiers so they fight better if you don't fight you die but if you fight you you you prob you're probably gonna die anyway what kind of speech was that as a lot of guys wait they got peltus little javelin men this reminds me of like rome total war except like very very mobile style okay we're about to have a big attack right i can tell wait a minute this is this the big attack this is it huzzah three percent wait three percent damage i threaten their lives and the lives of their families and they only fight three percent better i gotta work on my motivational speaking my guys have shields now okay so we're peasant militia thank you very much and i've got dudes with tridents not simple bidens only barbarians use bidens so we've seen how strong these soldiers are how do i unlock like proper legionaries my guys have helmets we are evolving we are evolving the roman legionary so do we have enough now after that evolution to invade another town the invasion cost is too gold was the roman currency denarii i think so gentlemen i will pay you dinari if you live but most of you are going to die all right let's let's do this thing where i'm like a god and i can fast forward my army is pretty good though look at that huzzah what i want to know is if i'm constantly invading the neighboring towns where are all the invaders coming from because i'm kicking their butts knowing if they're always invading me i guess there's no one home to defend their villages that's free real estate oh they got a ballista thing you know this is gonna hurt don't die till you see the whites in their eyes i don't know what that means oh mercenaries this is cool i like this italian swordsman yeah i would like to buy one welcome to my army mercenary that's when you know you're a good leader you you use mercenaries instead of your own men oh dang boy now how many mercenaries do we get a decent amount a fair yeah a fair amount [Music] gentlemen oh wow my my mercenaries are blue too so it kind of threw me off for a second i thought there were a lot more enemies than there were well i'm a good leader that's how you know because i know everything that's happening at all times so i gotta upgrade my cottages so i get a lot of passive money we're gonna turn them on to like little walled cities right that looks nice and i vote attack till we can't anymore so they got an archer they have a scorpion and they've got a sheep gate that's what i'm calling these sheep gates at some point i'll probably need proper siege equipment but right now all i have to do is yell at my men generally i like to motivate them by saying things like your father was a hamster and your mother smelled of elderberry actually the other way around oh whoa whoa whoa did you see that you don't have any offensive cards that's offensive to me what do you mean i don't have any offensive cards that's rude i want some look at that they they've got like this the drawbridge doesn't even draw so it's really just a bridge that one little archer is like firing sideways it's rather impressive so once the gate is down the barbarians wait i'm am i the barbarians at the gates oh here we go do i want to build a bank 10 per hour max capacity am i spending all my money on this yes do i do well i need that money later maybe my bank looks like someone in the stone ages built it that is a pathetic looking bank that might be the worst bank i've ever seen in my life there look at that guy looks like he has an arrow in his well in his another region that's for sure i swear my scorpion like doesn't even hit people half the time do i need to upgrade its accuracy because that that's not good yeah every time i've shot i've missed the target there we go he finally got someone four times the charm i feel like one of the things we have to do is upgrade these walls so they actually look like proper walls there we go yeah who's got some walls now i i do although if we were using machine guns we'd have nice pillboxes but i'm pretty sure our soldier could just crawl through it all right so we got horses so we're gonna use our farmers to fight for us this time because they probably have an advantage right so how far do you think i can expand do i get to go into carthage corsica sardinia the balearic islands oh gaul and iberia gibraltar what about egypt can i get over to egypt oh no egypt very sad my empire is only 2.27 it's not a lot room wasn't built in a day am i right i'm gonna change to big arrow siege weapons and elephants that seems like a good a good use of my money i think i shot right through that guy i need to wait but it's very difficult to do there we go fire he missed it did he miss it i think he did yeah he sucks maybe i suck let's probably use your error let's be honest oh we finally got him oh no that was the archer on the wall oh got that guy that time all right general you have leveled up gold per colony this is intriguing or experience per kill right now i think gold we get extra percentages of gold from my colonies right yes my guys tactics are actually decent though oh hero arkani this guy looks amazing he looks like he's wearing maximus's mask that he used in the gladiator barbarian commander a gladiator oh boost your offensive and defensive power thank you very much now where does my gladiator come in is he in the units only one way to find out there he is oh deck hakane he is murking people he's got two daggers now it looks like he got pretty banged up yeah he's almost dead he's pretty much fighting the armies himself and he's aggroing most of the enemy's attention but having a hero on your side is better than having to fight him that's what i always say i'm full of good advice like that like generally my tactics are usually like hey i advise you to have a bigger army and a stronger army in a better prepared army than the enemies see i'm sun tzu himself all right fight with your hero yeah i can't even get my guys out there before arkani starts just like taking him out man he's like who's the roman god of war was it juno i think so he's really cool he's like he's like my roman darth vader but eventually he'll die is he gonna die now oh my god he is almost dying let's level him up level six i like how the heroes like you pay them in wine they uh you know i guess they like what they like we've survived 18 waves i mean just to think that we started with just like two dudes and tunics with daggers arkani literally hasn't done one thing he's just like hovered in the background he's not even attacking whoa there are rebellions what the heck oh and you can defend it for crystals this game is deeper than i thought oh god that's a big uh big rebellion are connie uh do that thing boy oh he was [Music] okay so rebellions are interesting now in order to get other mercenaries i need to have an empire five percent bigger so it's like you defend to make money to go and take over rome it's a i never knew that roman's economy was based off of [Music] tower defense a very interesting economy yeah the only way ballistas work is when like the enemy stopped it's very difficult to do it like speed we're about to fight wave 20 so let's get our our spearmint from peasants to peasant spearmint wait a minute there were peasants with spears but now they're peasant spearmint with spears huh are you as confused as i am or am i confused as i am how confused am i really wave 20 this is the big one this is what we have been working for go out there and protect your hero i should have switched my arrows but i'm thinking the enemy might bring in a big animal maybe more cavalry maybe a war elephant oh arkani's dead gentlemen the next wave is coming oh they're bringing a battering ramp luckily my guys have shields because some of these guys have projectiles i think they've got throwing spearmen on their way i'm gonna be able to reinforce my army in just a second there we go all right gentlemen arm up the next wave is spearman throwing spears i think in a battering ramp where's their battering ramp there it is okay they don't have a war outfit but they have a battering ram hit the battering ram with the ballista that was the whole point that was the whole point well rome wasn't building a day but it sure looks like we are expanding outwards just from one city although i feel like my city of rome should actually have a nice and proper little city and not just the roman golden eagle sitting above a speck of dust on the coast rome wasn't on the coast it's not a coastal city apparently this map of rome was built in a day so what should we do next we can get siege equipment throwing spearmen and horses and then as far as heroes there's quite a few of them oh roman commander a gladiator and a barbarian commander there's a lot of mercenaries oh my gosh there's a lot of mercenaries so pull that trigger on the like button if you did enjoy this video of grow empire rome where we tried to build
